	에스겔 10:1-11:25 에스겔은 예루살렘 성읍에 숯불 재앙이 임하는 것과 야웨의 영광이 예루살렘에서 떠나는 것을 환상으로 보았다. 하나님께서는 예루살렘에 남아서 악을 행하고 있는 교만한 자들은 타국인의 손에 멸망당하게 된다고 예고하셨다. 그러나 이방에 포로된 자들에게는 하나님께서 그들의 성소가 되시고 약속의 땅을 다시 돌려 주시며 부드러운 마음을 주시겠다는 위로의 말씀을 하셨다.

	성전을 떠난 야웨의 영광(10:1-10:22)

Then I looked, and behold, in the expanse that was over the heads of the cherubim something like a sapphire stone, in appearance resembling a throne, appeared above them.

And He spoke to the man clothed in linen and said, "Enter between the whirling wheels under the cherubim and fill your hands with coals of fire from between the cherubim and scatter them over the city." And he entered in my sight.

Now the cherubim were standing on the right side of the temple when the man entered, and the cloud filled the inner court.

Then the glory of the LORD went up from the cherub to the threshold of the temple, and the temple was filled with the cloud and the court was filled with the brightness of the glory of the LORD.

Moreover, the sound of the wings of the cherubim was heard as far as the outer court, like the voice of God Almighty when He speaks.

わたしが見ていると，ケルビムの頭上の大空の上に，サファイアの石のようで，形は王座のように見えるものがあるではないか．それはケルビムの上に見えた．

主は亞麻布をまとった者に向かって言われた．「ケルビムの下の回轉するものの間に入れ．そして，ケルビムの間にある燃える炭火を兩手に滿たし，それを都の上にまき散らせ」と．彼は，わたしの目の前で入って行った．

その人が入って行ったとき，ケルビムは神殿の南側に止まっており，雲が中庭を滿たしていた．

主の榮光はケルビムの上から立ち上がり，神殿の敷居に向かった．神殿は雲で滿たされ，庭は主の榮光の輝きで滿たされた．

ケルビムの翼の羽ばたく音は外庭にまで聞こえ，全能の神が語られる御聲のようであった．

It came about when He commanded the man clothed in linen, saying, "Take fire from between the whirling wheels, from between the cherubim," he entered and stood beside a wheel.

Then the cherub stretched out his hand from between the cherubim to the fire which was between the cherubim, took some and put it into the hands of the one clothed in linen, who took it and went out.

The cherubim appeared to have the form of a man's hand under their wings.

Then I looked, and behold, four wheels beside the cherubim, one wheel beside each cherub; and the appearance of the wheels was like the gleam of a Tarshish stone.

As for their appearance, all four of them had the same likeness, as if one wheel were within another wheel.

主が亞麻布をまとった人に命じて，「火を，回轉するものの間，ケルビムの間から取れ」と言われたので，彼は來て，車輪の傍らに立った．

すると，ケルビムのひとりが，手をケルビムの間から，ケルビムの間にある火に向かって伸ばして火を取り上げ，亞麻布をまとった者の兩手に置いた．その人は火を受け取って，出て行った．

ケルビムには，その翼の下に，人間の手の形が見えていた．

わたしが見ていると，四つの車輪が，ケルビムの傍らにあるではないか．一つの車輪が，ひとりのケルビムの傍らに，また一つの車輪が，ひとりのケルビムの傍らにというように，それぞれの傍らにあって，それらの車輪の有樣は綠柱石のように輝いていた．

それぞれの形の有樣は，四つとも同じで，一つの車輪がもう一つの車輪の中にあるかのようであった．

When they moved, they went in any of their four directions without turning as they went; but they followed in the direction which they faced, without turning as they went.

Their whole body, their backs, their hands, their wings and the wheels were full of eyes all around, the wheels belonging to all four of them.

The wheels were called in my hearing, the whirling wheels.

And each one had four faces. The first face was the face of a cherub, the second face was the face of a man, the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.

Then the cherubim rose up. They are the living beings that I saw by the river Chebar.

それらが移動するときは，四つの方向に進み，移動するときに，向きを變えることはなかった．先頭のケルビムが向かうところに他のものも從って進み，向きを變えなかったからである．

ケルビムの全身，すなわち，背中，兩手，翼と，車輪にはその周圍一面に目がつけられていた．ケルビムの車輪は四つともそうであった．

それらの車輪は「回轉するもの」と呼ばれているのが，わたしの耳に聞こえた．

ケルビムにはそれぞれ四つの顔があり，第一の顔はケルビムの顔，第二の顔は人間の顔，第三の顔は獅子の顔，そして第四の顔は鷲の顔であった．

ケルビムは上った．これがケバル川のほとりでわたしが見たあの生き物である．

Now when the cherubim moved, the wheels would go beside them; also when the cherubim lifted up their wings to rise from the ground, the wheels would not turn from beside them.

When the cherubim stood still, the wheels would stand still; and when they rose up, the wheels would rise with them, for the spirit of the living beings was in them.

Then the glory of the LORD departed from the threshold of the temple and stood over the cherubim.

When the cherubim departed, they lifted their wings and rose up from the earth in my sight with the wheels beside them; and they stood still at the entrance of the east gate of the LORD'S house, and the glory of the God of Israel hovered over them.

These are the living beings that I saw beneath the God of Israel by the river Chebar; so I knew that they were cherubim.

ケルビムが移動するとき，車輪もその傍らを進み，ケルビムが翼を廣げて地上から上るとき，車輪もその傍らを離れて回ることはなかった．

ケルビムが止まると，車輪も止まり，ケルビムが上ると，車輪も共に上った．生き物の靈がその中にあったからである．

主の榮光は神殿の敷居の上から出て，ケルビムの上にとどまった．

ケルビムは翼を廣げ，傍らの車輪と共に出て行くとき，わたしの目の前で地から上って行き，主の神殿の東の門の入り口で止まった．イスラエルの神の榮光は高くその上にあった．

これがケバル川の河畔で，わたしがイスラエルの神のもとにいるのを見たあの生き物である．わたしは，それがケルビムであることを知った．

Each one had four faces and each one four wings, and beneath their wings was the form of human hands.

As for the likeness of their faces, they were the same faces whose appearance I had seen by the river Chebar. Each one went straight ahead.

そのそれぞれに四つの顔と四つの翼があり，翼の下には人間の手の形をしたものがあった．

これらの顔の形は，まさしく，わたしがケバル川の河畔で見た顔であった．それらは同じような有樣をしており，おのおのまっすぐに進んで行った．

	심판과 회복(11:1-11:25)

Moreover, the Spirit lifted me up and brought me to the east gate of the LORD'S house which faced eastward And behold, there were twenty-five men at the entrance of the gate, and among them I saw Jaazaniah son of Azzur and Pelatiah son of Benaiah, leaders of the people.

He said to me, "Son of man, these are the men who devise iniquity and give evil advice in this city,

who say, 'The time is not near to build houses. This city is the pot and we are the flesh.'

"Therefore, prophesy against them, son of man, prophesy!"

Then the Spirit of the LORD fell upon me, and He said to me, "Say, 'Thus says the LORD, "So you think, house of Israel, for I know your thoughts.

靈はまた，わたしを引き上げ，主の神殿の東に面する東の門へ運んで行った．門の入り口に二十五人の男がおり，その中に民の指導者であるアズルの子ヤザンヤと，ベナヤの子ペラトヤがいるのをわたしは見た．

主はわたしに言われた．「人の子よ，この人¿はこの都の中で惡をたくらみ，惡い計畵を立てている．

彼らは，『家をすぐに建てる必要はない．この都は鍋で，我¿は肉だ』と言っている．

それゆえ，彼らに向かって預言せよ．人の子よ，預言せよ．

また，主の靈がわたしに降り，主は言われた．あなたは言わねばならない．主はこう言われる．イスラエルの家よ，お前たちはそのように言い張っている．わたしはお前たちが心に抱いていることを知っている．

"You have multiplied your slain in this city, filling its streets with them."

'Therefore, thus says the Lord GOD, "Your slain whom you have laid in the midst of the city are the flesh and this city is the pot; but I will bring you out of it.

"You have feared a sword; so I will bring a sword upon you," the Lord GOD declares.

"And I will bring you out of the midst of the city and deliver you into the hands of strangers and execute judgments against you.

"You will fall by the sword I will judge you to the border of Israel; so you shall know that I am the LORD.

しかし，お前たちはこの都の中で殺される者を數多く出し，路上は殺された者で滿たされる．

それゆえ，主なる神はこう言われる．お前たちがこの都の中に積み上げる殺された者こそ，その肉にほかならず，都は鍋である．しかしわたしは，お前たちをそこから引き出す．

お前たちは劍を恐れているが，わたしはお前たちの上に劍を臨ませる，と主なる神は言われる．

わたしは，お前たちをそこから引き出して，異國人の手に渡し，お前たちに對する裁きを行う．

お前たちは劍に擊たれて倒れる．わたしはイスラエルの國境でお前たちを裁く．そのとき，お前たちは，わたしが主であることを知るようになる．

"This city will not be a pot for you, nor will you be flesh in the midst of it, but I will judge you to the border of Israel.

"Thus you will know that I am the LORD; for you have not walked in My statutes nor have you executed My ordinances, but have acted according to the ordinances of the nations around you."'"

Now it came about as I prophesied, that Pelatiah son of Benaiah died Then I fell on my face and cried out with a loud voice and said, "Alas, Lord GOD! Will You bring the remnant of Israel to a complete end?"

Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

"Son of man, your brothers, your relatives, your fellow exiles and the whole house of Israel, all of them, are those to whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, 'Go far from the LORD; this land has been given us as a possession.'

この都が，お前たちにとって鍋となることはない．お前たちがその中で肉となることもない．わたしは，イスラエルの國境でお前たちを裁く．

そのとき，お前たちは，わたしが主であることを知るようになる．お前たちはわたしの ¿に從って步まず，わたしの法を行わず，かえって周圍の國¿のならわしに從ってきた．」

わたしが預言していると，ベナヤの子ペラトヤは死んだ．わたしは倒れ伏し，大聲で叫んで言った．「ああ，主なる神よ．イスラエルの殘りの者を滅ぼし盡くされるのですか」と．

主の言葉がわたしに臨んだ．

「人の子よ，エルサレムの住民は，あなたの兄弟たち，すなわちあなたの親族である兄弟たち，およびイスラエルの家のすべての者に對して言っている．『主から遠く離れておれ．この土地は我¿の所有地として與えられている．』

"Therefore say, 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "Though I had removed them far away among the nations and though I had scattered them among the countries, yet I was a sanctuary for them a little while in the countries where they had gone."'

"Therefore say, 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "I will gather you from the peoples and assemble you out of the countries among which you have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel."'

"When they come there, they will remove all its detestable things and all its abominations from it.

"And I will give them one heart, and put a new spirit within them And I will take the heart of stone out of their flesh and give them a heart of flesh,

that they may walk in My statutes and keep My ordinances and do them Then they will be My people, and I shall be their God.

それゆえ，あなたは言わねばならない．主なる神はこう言われる．『確かに，わたしは彼らを遠くの國¿に追いやり，諸國に散らした．しかしわたしは，彼らが行った國¿において，彼らのためにささやかな聖所となった．』

それゆえ，あなたは言わねばならない．主なる神はこう言われる．『わたしはお前たちを諸國の民の間から集め，散らされていた諸國から呼び集め，イスラエルの土地を與える．

彼らは歸って來て，あらゆる憎むべきものと，あらゆる忌まわしいものをその地から取り除く．

わたしは彼らに一つの心を與え，彼らの中に新しい靈を授ける．わたしは彼らの肉から石の心を除き，肉の心を與える．

彼らがわたしの ¿に從って步み，わたしの法を守り行うためである．こうして，彼らはわたしの民となり，わたしは彼らの神となる．

"But as for those whose hearts go after their detestable things and abominations, I will bring their conduct down on their heads," declares the Lord GOD.

Then the cherubim lifted up their wings with the wheels beside them, and the glory of the God of Israel hovered over them.

The glory of the LORD went up from the midst of the city and stood over the mountain which is east of the city.

And the Spirit lifted me up and brought me in a vision by the Spirit of God to the exiles in Chaldea So the vision that I had seen left me.

Then I told the exiles all the things that the LORD had shown me.

しかし，憎むべきもの，忌まわしいものに心を寄せている者には，彼らの行ってきたことが頭上にふりかかるようにする』」と主なる神は言われる．

そのとき，ケルビムは翼を廣げ，車輪もまた共に行った．イスラエルの神の榮光は高くその上にあった．

主の榮光は都の中から昇り，都の東にある山の上にとどまった．

靈はわたしを引き上げ，カルデアの方に運び，わたしを幻のうちに，神の靈によって，捕囚の民のもとに連れて行った．こうして，わたしの見た幻は，わたしを離れて上って行った．

わたしは，主が示されたすべてのことを，捕囚の民に語り聞かせた．
