	마태복음 26:69-27:14 예수님을 따르던 베드로는 예언대로 예수님을 세 번 부인하였다. 총독 빌라도에게 넘겨진 예수님은 다시 심문을 받게 되었고 무죄한 예수님을 팔아 넘긴 유다는 자살하고 말았다.

	제자들의 배반(26:69-27:14)

Now Peter was sitting outside in the courtyard, and a servant-girl came to him and said, "You too were with Jesus the Galilean."

But he denied it before them all, saying, "I do not know what you are talking about."

When he had gone out to the gateway, another servant-girl saw him and said to those who were there, "This man was with Jesus of Nazareth."

And again he denied it with an oath, "I do not know the man."

A little later the bystanders came up and said to Peter, "Surely you too are one of them; for even the way you talk gives you away."

베드로가 바깥 뜰에 앉았더니 한 여종이 나아와 이르되 너도 갈릴리 사람 예수와 함께 있었도다 하거늘

베드로가 모든 사람 앞에서 부인하여 이르되 나는 네가 무슨 말을 하는지 알지 못하겠노라 하며

앞문까지 나아가니 다른 여종이 그를 보고 거기 있는 사람들에게 말하되 이 사람은 나사렛 예수와 함께 있었도다 하매

베드로가 맹세하고 또 부인하여 이르되 나는 그 사람을 알지 못하노라 하더라

조금 후에 곁에 섰던 사람들이 나아와 베드로에게 이르되 너도 진실로 그 도당이라 네 말소리가 너를 표명한다 하거늘

Then he began to curse and swear, "I do not know the man!" And immediately a rooster crowed.

And Peter remembered the word which Jesus had said, "Before a rooster crows, you will deny Me three times." And he went out and wept bitterly.

그가 저주하며 맹세하여 이르되 나는 그 사람을 알지 못하노라 하니 곧 닭이 울더라

이에 베드로가 예수의 말씀에 닭 울기 전에 네가 세 번 나를 부인하리라 하심이 생각나서 밖에 나가서 심히 통곡하니라

Now when morning came, all the chief priests and the elders of the people conferred together against Jesus to put Him to death;

and they bound Him, and led Him away and delivered Him to Pilate the governor.

Then when Judas, who had betrayed Him, saw that He had been condemned, he felt remorse and returned the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,

saying, "I have sinned by betraying innocent blood." But they said, "What is that to us? See to that yourself!"

And he threw the pieces of silver into the temple sanctuary and departed; and he went away and hanged himself.

새벽에 모든 대제사장과 백성의 장로들이 예수를 죽이려고 함께 의논하고

결박하여 끌고 가서 총독 빌라도에게 넘겨 주니라

그 때에 예수를 판 유다가 그의 정죄됨을 보고 스스로 뉘우쳐 그 은 삼십을 대제사장들과 장로들에게 도로 갖다 주며

이르되 내가 무죄한 피를 팔고 죄를 범하였도다 하니 그들이 이르되 그것이 우리에게 무슨 상관이냐 네가 당하라 하거늘

유다가 은을 성소에 던져 넣고 물러가서 스스로 목매어 죽은지라

The chief priests took the pieces of silver and said, "It is not lawful to put them into the temple treasury, since it is the price of blood."

And they conferred together and with the money bought the Potter's Field as a burial place for strangers.

For this reason that field has been called the Field of Blood to this day.

Then that which was spoken through Jeremiah the prophet was fulfilled: "AND THEY TOOK THE THIRTY PIECES OF SILVER, THE PRICE OF THE ONE WHOSE PRICE HAD BEEN SET by the sons of Israel;

AND THEY GAVE THEM FOR THE POTTER'S FIELD, AS THE LORD DIRECTED ME."

대제사장들이 그 은을 거두며 이르되 이것은 핏값이라 성전고에 넣어 둠이 옳지 않다 하고

의논한 후 이것으로 토기장이의 밭을 사서 나그네의 묘지를 삼았으니

그러므로 오늘날까지 그 밭을 피밭이라 일컫느니라

이에 선지자 예레미야를 통하여 하신 말씀이 이루어졌나니 일렀으되 그들이 그 가격 매겨진 자 곧 이스라엘 자손 중에서 가격 매긴 자의 가격 곧 은 삼십을 가지고

토기장이의 밭 값으로 주었으니 이는 주께서 내게 명하신 바와 같으니라 하였더라

Now Jesus stood before the governor, and the governor questioned Him, saying, "Are You the King of the Jews?" And Jesus said to him, "It is as you say."

And while He was being accused by the chief priests and elders, He did not answer.

Then Pilate said to Him, "Do You not hear how many things they testify against You?"

And He did not answer him with regard to even a single charge, so the governor was quite amazed.

예수께서 총독 앞에 섰으매 총독이 물어 이르되 네가 유대인의 왕이냐 예수께서 대답하시되 네 말이 옳도다 하시고

대제사장들과 장로들에게 고발을 당하되 아무 대답도 아니하시는지라

이에 빌라도가 이르되 그들이 너를 쳐서 얼마나 많은 것으로 증언하는지 듣지 못하느냐 하되

한 마디도 대답하지 아니하시니 총독이 크게 놀라워하더라
