열왕기하 24:1-25:30

 유다가 바벨론에 대해 반기를 들자 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살은 1,2차에 걸쳐 예루살렘을 침공하여 여호야김과 여호야긴을 포로로 끌고 가고, 시드기야를 왕으로 세웠다. 그러나 시드기야 역시 반바벨론 정책으로 실책과 악정의 전철을 밟았으며, 결국 바벨론의 3차 침공으로 예루살렘은 멸망당하고 말았다. 포로로 끌려간 여호야긴은 37년 만에 석방되어 일평생 왕 앞에서 먹고 살 수 있게 되었다.
  
  유다의 마지막 왕들(24:1-24:20)    
 
  1. In his days Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up, and Jehoiakim became his servant for three years; then he turned and rebelled against him.
  2. The LORD sent against him bands of Chaldeans, bands of Arameans, bands of Moabites, and bands of Ammonites So He sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of the LORD which He had spoken through His servants the prophets.
  3. Surely at the command of the LORD it came upon Judah, to remove them from His sight because of the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he had done,
  4. and also for the innocent blood which he shed, for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood; and the LORD would not forgive.
  5. Now the rest of the acts of Jehoiakim and all that he did, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah?
  1. 여호야김 시대에 바벨론의 왕 느부갓네살이 올라오매 여호야김이 삼 년간 섬기다가 돌아서 그를 배반하였더니
  2. 여호와께서 그의 종 선지자들을 통하여 하신 말씀과 같이 갈대아의 부대와 아람의 부대와 모압의 부대와 암몬 자손의 부대를 여호야김에게로 보내 유다를 쳐 멸하려 하시니
  3. 이 일이 유다에 임함은 곧 여호와의 말씀대로 그들을 자기 앞에서 물리치고자 하심이니 이는 므낫세의 지은 모든 죄 때문이며
  4. 또 그가 무죄한 자의 피를 흘려 그의 피가 예루살렘에 가득하게 하였음이라 여호와께서 사하시기를 즐겨하지 아니하시니라
  5. 여호야김의 남은 사적과 행한 모든 일은 유다 왕 역대지략에 기록되지 아니하였느냐
  1. So Jehoiakim slept with his fathers, and Jehoiachin his son became king in his place.
  2. The king of Egypt did not come out of his land again, for the king of Babylon had taken all that belonged to the king of Egypt from the brook of Egypt to the river Euphrates.
  3. Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he became king, and he reigned three months in Jerusalem; and his mother's name was Nehushta the daughter of Elnathan of Jerusalem.
  4. He did evil in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father had done.
  5. At that time the servants of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon went up to Jerusalem, and the city came under siege.
  1. 여호야김이 그의 조상들과 함께 자매 그의 아들 여호야긴이 대신하여 왕이 되니라
  2. 애굽 왕이 다시는 그 나라에서 나오지 못하였으니 이는 바벨론 왕이 애굽 강에서부터 유브라데 강까지 애굽 왕에게 속한 땅을 다 점령하였음이더라
  3. 여호야긴이 왕이 될 때에 나이가 십팔 세라 예루살렘에서 석 달간 다스리니라 그의 어머니의 이름은 느후스다요 예루살렘 엘라단의 딸이더라
  4. 여호야긴이 그의 아버지의 모든 행위를 따라서 여호와께서 보시기에 악을 행하였더라
  5. 그 때에 바벨론의 왕 느부갓네살의 신복들이 예루살렘에 올라와서 그 성을 에워싸니라
  1. And Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon came to the city, while his servants were besieging it.
  2. Jehoiachin the king of Judah went out to the king of Babylon, he and his mother and his servants and his captains and his officials So the king of Babylon took him captive in the eighth year of his reign.
  3. He carried out from there all the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king's house, and cut in pieces all the vessels of gold which Solomon king of Israel had made in the temple of the LORD, just as the LORD had said.
  4. Then he led away into exile all Jerusalem and all the captains and all the mighty men of valor, ten thousand captives, and all the craftsmen and the smiths None remained except the poorest people of the land.
  5. So he led Jehoiachin away into exile to Babylon; also the king's mother and the king's wives and his officials and the leading men of the land, he led away into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon.
  1. 그의 신복들이 에워쌀 때에 바벨론의 왕 느부갓네살도 그 성에 이르니
  2. 유다의 왕 여호야긴이 그의 어머니와 신복과 지도자들과 내시들과 함께 바벨론 왕에게 나아가매 왕이 잡으니 때는 바벨론의 왕 여덟째 해이라
  3. 그가 여호와의 성전의 모든 보물과 왕궁 보물을 집어내고 또 이스라엘의 왕 솔로몬이 만든 것 곧 여호와의 성전의 금 그릇을 다 파괴하였으니 여호와의 말씀과 같이 되었더라
  4. 그가 또 예루살렘의 모든 백성과 모든 지도자와 모든 용사 만 명과 모든 장인과 대장장이를 사로잡아 가매 비천한 자 외에는 그 땅에 남은 자가 없었더라
  5. 그가 여호야긴을 바벨론으로 사로잡아 가고 왕의 어머니와 왕의 아내들과 내시들과 나라에 권세 있는 자도 예루살렘에서 바벨론으로 사로잡아 가고
  1. All the men of valor, seven thousand, and the craftsmen and the smiths, one thousand, all strong and fit for war, and these the king of Babylon brought into exile to Babylon.
  2. Then the king of Babylon made his uncle Mattaniah king in his place, and changed his name to Zedekiah.
  3. Zedekiah was twenty-one years old when he became king, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem; and his mother's name was Hamutal the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.
  4. He did evil in the sight of the LORD, according to all that Jehoiakim had done.
  5. For through the anger of the LORD this came about in Jerusalem and Judah until He cast them out from His presence And Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.
  1. 또 용사 칠천 명과 장인과 대장장이 천 명 곧 용감하여 싸움을 할 만한 모든 자들을 바벨론 왕이 바벨론으로 사로잡아 가고
  2. 바벨론 왕이 또 여호야긴의 숙부 맛다니야를 대신하여 왕으로 삼고 그의 이름을 고쳐 시드기야라 하였더라
  3. 시드기야가 왕이 될 때에 나이가 이십일 세라 예루살렘에서 십일 년간 다스리니라 그의 어머니의 이름은 하무달이요 립나인 예레미야의 딸이더라
  4. 그가 여호야김의 모든 행위를 따라 여호와 보시기에 악을 행한지라
  5. 여호와께서 예루살렘과 유다를 진노하심이 그들을 그 앞에서 쫓아내실 때까지 이르렀더라 시드기야가 바벨론 왕을 배반하니라
 
  예루살렘 함락(25:1-25:30)    
 
  1. Now in the ninth year of his reign, on the tenth day of the tenth month, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came, he and all his army, against Jerusalem, camped against it and built a siege wall all around it.
  2. So the city was under siege until the eleventh year of King Zedekiah.
  3. On the ninth day of the fourth month the famine was so severe in the city that there was no food for the people of the land.
  4. Then the city was broken into, and all the men of war fled by night by way of the gate between the two walls beside the king's garden, though the Chaldeans were all around the city. And they went by way of the Arabah.
  5. But the army of the Chaldeans pursued the king and overtook him in the plains of Jericho and all his army was scattered from him.
  1. 시드기야 제구년 열째 달 십일에 바벨론의 왕 느부갓네살이 그의 모든 군대를 거느리고 예루살렘을 치러 올라와서 그 성에 대하여 진을 치고 주위에 토성을 쌓으매
  2. 그 성이 시드기야 왕 제십일년까지 포위되었더라
  3. 그 해 넷째 달 구일에 성 중에 기근이 심하여 그 땅 백성의 양식이 떨어졌더라
  4. 그 성벽이 파괴되매 모든 군사가 밤중에 두 성벽 사이 왕의 동산 곁문 길로 도망하여 갈대아인들이 그 성읍을 에워쌌으므로 그가 아라바 길로 가더니
  5. 갈대아 군대가 그 왕을 뒤쫓아가서 여리고 평지에서 그를 따라 잡으매 왕의 모든 군대가 그를 떠나 흩어진지라
  1. Then they captured the king and brought him to the king of Babylon at Riblah, and he passed sentence on him.
  2. They slaughtered the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, then put out the eyes of Zedekiah and bound him with bronze fetters and brought him to Babylon.
  3. Now on the seventh day of the fifth month, which was the nineteenth year of King Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard, a servant of the king of Babylon, came to Jerusalem.
  4. He burned the house of the LORD, the king's house, and all the houses of Jerusalem; even every great house he burned with fire.
  5. So all the army of the Chaldeans who were with the captain of the guard broke down the walls around Jerusalem.
  1. 그들이 왕을 사로잡아 그를 립나에 있는 바벨론 왕에게로 끌고 가매 그들이 그를 심문하니라
  2. 그들이 시드기야의 아들들을 그의 눈앞에서 죽이고 시드기야의 두 눈을 빼고 놋 사슬로 그를 결박하여 바벨론으로 끌고 갔더라
  3. 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살의 열아홉째 해 오월 칠일에 바벨론 왕의 신복 시위대장 느부사라단이 예루살렘에 이르러
  4. 여호와의 성전과 왕궁을 불사르고 예루살렘의 모든 집을 귀인의 집까지 불살랐으며
  5. 시위대장에게 속한 갈대아 온 군대가 예루살렘 주위의 성벽을 헐었으며
  1. Then the rest of the people who were left in the city and the deserters who had deserted to the king of Babylon and the rest of the people, Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away into exile.
  2. But the captain of the guard left some of the poorest of the land to be vinedressers and plowmen.
  3. Now the bronze pillars which were in the house of the LORD, and the stands and the bronze sea which were in the house of the LORD, the Chaldeans broke in pieces and carried the bronze to Babylon.
  4. They took away the pots, the shovels, the snuffers, the spoons, and all the bronze vessels which were used in temple service.
  5. The captain of the guard also took away the firepans and the basins, what was fine gold and what was fine silver.
  1. 성 중에 남아 있는 백성과 바벨론 왕에게 항복한 자들과 무리 중 남은 자는 시위대장 느부사라단이 모두 사로잡아 가고
  2. 시위대장이 그 땅의 비천한 자를 남겨 두어 포도원을 다스리는 자와 농부가 되게 하였더라
  3. 갈대아 사람이 또 여호와의 성전의 두 놋 기둥과 받침들과 여호와의 성전의 놋 바다를 깨뜨려 그 놋을 바벨론으로 가져가고
  4. 또 가마들과 부삽들과 부집게들과 숟가락들과 섬길 때에 쓰는 모든 놋그릇을 다 가져갔으며
  5. 시위대장이 또 불 옮기는 그릇들과 주발들 곧 금으로 만든 것이나 은으로 만든 것이나 모두 가져갔으며
  1. The two pillars, the one sea, and the stands which Solomon had made for the house of the LORD--the bronze of all these vessels was beyond weight.
  2. The height of the one pillar was eighteen cubits, and a bronze capital was on it; the height of the capital was three cubits, with a network and pomegranates on the capital all around, all of bronze. And the second pillar was like these with network.
  3. Then the captain of the guard took Seraiah the chief priest and Zephaniah the second priest, with the three officers of the temple.
  4. From the city he took one official who was overseer of the men of war, and five of the king's advisers who were found in the city; and the scribe of the captain of the army who mustered the people of the land; and sixty men of the people of the land who were found in the city.
  5. Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard took them and brought them to the king of Babylon at Riblah.
  1. 또 솔로몬이 여호와의 성전을 위하여 만든 두 기둥과 한 바다와 받침들을 가져갔는데 이 모든 기구의 놋 무게를 헤아릴 수 없었으니
  2. 그 한 기둥은 높이가 열여덟 규빗이요 그 꼭대기에 놋 머리가 있어 높이가 세 규빗이요 그 머리에 둘린 그물과 석류가 다 놋이라 다른 기둥의 장식과 그물도 이와 같았더라
  3. 시위대장이 대제사장 스라야와 부제사장 스바냐와 성전 문지기 세 사람을 사로잡고
  4. 또 성 중에서 사람을 사로잡았으니 곧 군사를 거느린 내시 한 사람과 또 성 중에서 만난 바 왕의 시종 다섯 사람과 백성을 징집하는 장관의 서기관 한 사람과 성 중에서 만난 바 백성 육십 명이라
  5. 시위대장 느부사라단이 그들을 사로잡아 가지고 립나 바벨론 왕에게 나아가매
  1. Then the king of Babylon struck them down and put them to death at Riblah in the land of Hamath. So Judah was led away into exile from its land.
  2. Now as for the people who were left in the land of Judah, whom Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had left, he appointed Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan over them.
  3. When all the captains of the forces, they and their men, heard that the king of Babylon had appointed Gedaliah governor, they came to Gedaliah to Mizpah, namely, Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and Johanan the son of Kareah, and Seraiah the son of Tanhumeth the Netophathite, and Jaazaniah the son of the Maacathite, they and their men.
  4. Gedaliah swore to them and their men and said to them, "Do not be afraid of the servants of the Chaldeans; live in the land and serve the king of Babylon, and it will be well with you."
  5. But it came about in the seventh month, that Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, the son of Elishama, of the royal family, came with ten men and struck Gedaliah down so that he died along with the Jews and the Chaldeans who were with him at Mizpah.
  1. 바벨론 왕이 하맛 땅 립나에서 다 쳐죽였더라 이와 같이 유다가 사로잡혀 본토에서 떠났더라
  2. 유다 땅에 머물러 있는 백성은 곧 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살이 남긴 자라 왕이 사반의 손자 아히감의 아들 그달리야가 관할하게 하였더라
  3. 모든 군대 지휘관과 그를 따르는 자가 바벨론 왕이 그달리야를 지도자로 삼았다 함을 듣고 이에 느다니야의 아들 이스마엘과 가레아의 아들 요하난과 느도바 사람 단후멧의 아들 스라야와 마아가 사람의 아들 야아사니야와 그를 따르는 사람이 모두 미스바로 가서 그달리야에게 나아가매
  4. 그달리야가 그들과 그를 따르는 군사들에게 맹세하여 이르되 너희는 갈대아 인을 섬기기를 두려워하지 말고 이 땅에 살며 바벨론 왕을 섬기라 그리하면 너희가 평안하리라 하니라
  5. 칠월에 왕족 엘리사마의 손자 느다니야의 아들 이스마엘이 부하 열 명을 거느리고 와서 그달리야를 쳐서 죽이고 또 그와 함께 미스바에 있는 유다 사람과 갈대아 사람을 죽인지라
  1. Then all the people, both small and great, and the captains of the forces arose and went to Egypt; for they were afraid of the Chaldeans.
  2. Now it came about in the thirty-seventh year of the exile of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, that Evil-merodach king of Babylon, in the year that he became king, released Jehoiachin king of Judah from prison;
  3. and he spoke kindly to him and set his throne above the throne of the kings who were with him in Babylon.
  4. Jehoiachin changed his prison clothes and had his meals in the king's presence regularly all the days of his life;
  5. and for his allowance, a regular allowance was given him by the king, a portion for each day, all the days of his life.
  1. 노소를 막론하고 백성과 군대 장관들이 다 일어나서 애굽으로 갔으니 이는 갈대아 사람을 두려워함이었더라
  2. 유다의 왕 여호야긴이 사로잡혀 간 지 삼십칠 년 곧 바벨론의 왕 에윌므로닥이 즉위한 원년 십이월 그 달 이십칠일에 유다의 왕 여호야긴을 옥에서 내놓아 그 머리를 들게 하고
  3. 그에게 좋게 말하고 그의 지위를 바벨론에 그와 함께 있는 모든 왕의 지위보다 높이고
  4. 그 죄수의 의복을 벗게 하고 그의 일평생에 항상 왕의 앞에서 양식을 먹게 하였고
  5. 그가 쓸 것은 날마다 왕에게서 받는 양이 있어서 종신토록 끊이지 아니하였더라
