욥기 27:1-29:25

 욥은 계속해서 자신은 불의와 궤휼을 말하지 않고 자신의 의를 굳게 잡아 순전히 지켰다고 하였다. 그리고 하나님을 경외하는 것이 지혜이고, 악을 떠나는 것이 명철이라고 고백하였다. 그리고 시험받기 이전의 자신의 모습을 회상하면서, 하나님께서 자신을 보호해 주셨으며 자신도 왕처럼 현명하여 다른 사람들을 위로해 줄 수 있는 존재였다고 고백하였다.
  
  욥의 독백(27:1-29:25)    
 
  1. Then Job continued his discourse and said,
  2. "As God lives, who has taken away my right, And the Almighty, who has embittered my soul,
  3. For as long as life is in me, And the breath of God is in my nostrils,
  4. My lips certainly will not speak unjustly, Nor will my tongue mutter deceit.
  5. "Far be it from me that I should declare you right; Till I die I will not put away my integrity from me.
  1. 욥이 또 풍자하여 이르되
  2. 나의 정당함을 물리치신 하나님, 나의 영혼을 괴롭게 하신 전능자의 사심을 두고 맹세하노니
  3. （나의 호흡이 아직 내 속에 완전히 있고 하나님의 숨결이 아직도 내 코에 있느니라）
  4. 결코 내 입술이 불의를 말하지 아니하며 내 혀가 거짓을 말하지 아니하리라
  5. 나는 결코 너희를 옳다 하지 아니하겠고 내가 죽기 전에는 나의 온전함을 버리지 아니할 것이라
  1. "I hold fast my righteousness and will not let it go. My heart does not reproach any of my days.
  2. "May my enemy be as the wicked And my opponent as the unjust.
  3. "For what is the hope of the godless when he is cut off, When God requires his life?
  4. "Will God hear his cry When distress comes upon him?
  5. "Will he take delight in the Almighty? Will he call on God at all times?
  1. 내가 내 공의를 굳게 잡고 놓지 아니하리니 내 마음이 나의 생애를 비웃지 아니하리라
  2. 나의 원수는 악인 같이 되고 일어나 나를 치는 자는 불의한 자 같이 되기를 원하노라
  3. 불경건한 자가 이익을 얻었으나 하나님이 그의 영혼을 거두실 때에는 무슨 희망이 있으랴
  4. 환난이 그에게 닥칠 때에 하나님이 어찌 그의 부르짖음을 들으시랴
  5. 그가 어찌 전능자를 기뻐하겠느냐 항상 하나님께 부르짖겠느냐
  1. "I will instruct you in the power of God; What is with the Almighty I will not conceal.
  2. "Behold, all of you have seen it; Why then do you act foolishly?
  3. "This is the portion of a wicked man from God, And the inheritance which tyrants receive from the Almighty.
  4. "Though his sons are many, they are destined for the sword; And his descendants will not be satisfied with bread.
  5. "His survivors will be buried because of the plague, And their widows will not be able to weep.
  1. 하나님의 솜씨를 내가 너희에게 가르칠 것이요 전능자에게 있는 것을 내가 숨기지 아니하리라
  2. 너희가 다 이것을 보았거늘 어찌하여 그토록 무익한 사람이 되었는고
  3. 악인이 하나님께 얻을 분깃, 포악자가 전능자에게서 받을 산업은 이것이라
  4. 그의 자손은 번성하여도 칼을 위함이요 그의 후손은 음식물로 배부르지 못할 것이며
  5. 그 남은 자들은 죽음의 병이 돌 때에 묻히리니 그들의 과부들이 울지 못할 것이며
  1. "Though he piles up silver like dust And prepares garments as plentiful as the clay,
  2. He may prepare it, but the just will wear it And the innocent will divide the silver.
  3. "He has built his house like the spider's web, Or as a hut which the watchman has made.
  4. "He lies down rich, but never again; He opens his eyes, and it is no longer.
  5. "Terrors overtake him like a flood; A tempest steals him away in the night.
  1. 그가 비록 은을 티끌 같이 쌓고 의복을 진흙 같이 준비할지라도
  2. 그가 준비한 것을 의인이 입을 것이요 그의 은은 죄 없는 자가 차지할 것이며
  3. 그가 지은 집은 좀의 집 같고 파수꾼의 초막 같을 것이며
  4. 부자로 누우려니와 다시는 그렇지 못할 것이요 눈을 뜬즉 아무것도 없으리라
  5. 두려움이 물 같이 그에게 닥칠 것이요 폭풍이 밤에 그를 앗아갈 것이며
  1. "The east wind carries him away, and he is gone, For it whirls him away from his place.
  2. "For it will hurl at him without sparing; He will surely try to flee from its power.
  3. "Men will clap their hands at him And will hiss him from his place.
  1. 동풍이 그를 들어올리리니 그는 사라질 것이며 그의 처소에서 그를 몰아내리라
  2. 하나님은 그를 아끼지 아니하시고 던져 버릴 것이니 그의 손에서 도망치려고 힘쓰리라
  3. 사람들은 그를 바라보며 손뼉치고 그의 처소에서 그를 비웃으리라
 
 
  1. "Surely there is a mine for silver And a place where they refine gold.
  2. "Iron is taken from the dust, And copper is smelted from rock.
  3. "Man puts an end to darkness, And to the farthest limit he searches out The rock in gloom and deep shadow.
  4. "He sinks a shaft far from habitation, Forgotten by the foot; They hang and swing to and fro far from men.
  5. "The earth, from it comes food, And underneath it is turned up as fire.
  1. 은이 나는 곳이 있고 금을 제련하는 곳이 있으며
  2. 철은 흙에서 캐내고 동은 돌에서 녹여 얻느니라
  3. 사람은 어둠을 뚫고 모든 것을 끝까지 탐지하여 어둠과 죽음의 그늘에 있는 광석도 탐지하되
  4. 그는 사람이 사는 곳에서 멀리 떠나 갱도를 깊이 뚫고 발길이 닿지 않는 곳 사람이 없는 곳에 매달려 흔들리느니라
  5. 음식은 땅으로부터 나오나 그 밑은 불처럼 변하였도다
  1. "Its rocks are the source of sapphires, And its dust contains gold.
  2. "The path no bird of prey knows, Nor has the falcon's eye caught sight of it.
  3. "The proud beasts have not trodden it, Nor has the fierce lion passed over it.
  4. "He puts his hand on the flint; He overturns the mountains at the base.
  5. "He hews out channels through the rocks, And his eye sees anything precious.
  1. 그 돌에는 청옥이 있고 사금도 있으며
  2. 그 길은 솔개도 알지 못하고 매의 눈도 보지 못하며
  3. 용맹스러운 짐승도 밟지 못하였고 사나운 사자도 그리로 지나가지 못하였느니라
  4. 사람이 굳은 바위에 손을 대고 산을 뿌리까지 뒤엎으며
  5. 반석에 수로를 터서 각종 보물을 눈으로 발견하고
  1. "He dams up the streams from flowing, And what is hidden he brings out to the light.
  2. "But where can wisdom be found? And where is the place of understanding?
  3. "Man does not know its value, Nor is it found in the land of the living.
  4. "The deep says, 'It is not in me'; And the sea says, 'It is not with me.'
  5. "Pure gold cannot be given in exchange for it, Nor can silver be weighed as its price.
  1. 누수를 막아 스며 나가지 않게 하고 감추어져 있던 것을 밝은 데로 끌어내느니라
  2. 그러나 지혜는 어디서 얻으며 명철이 있는 곳은 어디인고
  3. 그 길을 사람이 알지 못하나니 사람 사는 땅에서는 찾을 수 없구나
  4. 깊은 물이 이르기를 내 속에 있지 아니하다 하며 바다가 이르기를 나와 함께 있지 아니하다 하느니라
  5. 순금으로도 바꿀 수 없고 은을 달아도 그 값을 당하지 못하리니
  1. "It cannot be valued in the gold of Ophir, In precious onyx, or sapphire.
  2. "Gold or glass cannot equal it, Nor can it be exchanged for articles of fine gold.
  3. "Coral and crystal are not to be mentioned; And the acquisition of wisdom is above that of pearls.
  4. "The topaz of Ethiopia cannot equal it, Nor can it be valued in pure gold.
  5. "Where then does wisdom come from? And where is the place of understanding?
  1. 오빌의 금이나 귀한 청옥수나 남보석으로도 그 값을 당하지 못하겠고
  2. 황금이나 수정이라도 비교할 수 없고 정금 장식품으로도 바꿀 수 없으며
  3. 진주와 벽옥으로도 비길 수 없나니 지혜의 값은 산호보다 귀하구나
  4. 구스의 황옥으로도 비교할 수 없고 순금으로도 그 값을 헤아리지 못하리라
  5. 그런즉 지혜는 어디서 오며 명철이 머무는 곳은 어디인고
  1. "Thus it is hidden from the eyes of all living And concealed from the birds of the sky.
  2. "Abaddon and Death say, 'With our ears we have heard a report of it.'
  3. "God understands its way, And He knows its place.
  4. "For He looks to the ends of the earth And sees everything under the heavens.
  5. "When He imparted weight to the wind And meted out the waters by measure,
  1. 모든 생물의 눈에 숨겨졌고 공중의 새에게 가려졌으며
  2. 멸망과 사망도 이르기를 우리가 귀로 그 소문은 들었다 하느니라
  3. 하나님이 그 길을 아시며 있는 곳을 아시나니
  4. 이는 그가 땅 끝까지 감찰하시며 온 천하를 살피시며
  5. 바람의 무게를 정하시며 물의 분량을 정하시며
  1. When He set a limit for the rain And a course for the thunderbolt,
  2. Then He saw it and declared it; He established it and also searched it out.
  3. "And to man He said, 'Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; And to depart from evil is understanding.'"
  1. 비 내리는 법칙을 정하시고 비구름의 길과 우레의 법칙을 만드셨음이라
  2. 그 때에 그가 보시고 선포하시며 굳게 세우시며 탐구하셨고
  3. 또 사람에게 말씀하셨도다 보라 주를 경외함이 지혜요 악을 떠남이 명철이니라
 
 
  1. And Job again took up his discourse and said,
  2. "Oh that I were as in months gone by, As in the days when God watched over me;
  3. When His lamp shone over my head, And by His light I walked through darkness;
  4. As I was in the prime of my days, When the friendship of God was over my tent;
  5. When the Almighty was yet with me, And my children were around me;
  1. 욥이 풍자하여 이르되
  2. 나는 지난 세월과 하나님이 나를 보호하시던 때가 다시 오기를 원하노라
  3. 그 때에는 그의 등불이 내 머리에 비치었고 내가 그의 빛을 힘입어 암흑에서도 걸어다녔느니라
  4. 내가 원기 왕성하던 날과 같이 지내기를 원하노라 그 때에는 하나님이 내 장막에 기름을 발라 주셨도다
  5. 그 때에는 전능자가 아직도 나와 함께 계셨으며 나의 젊은이들이 나를 둘러 있었으며
  1. When my steps were bathed in butter, And the rock poured out for me streams of oil!
  2. "When I went out to the gate of the city, When I took my seat in the square,
  3. The young men saw me and hid themselves, And the old men arose and stood.
  4. "The princes stopped talking And put their hands on their mouths;
  5. The voice of the nobles was hushed, And their tongue stuck to their palate.
  1. 젖으로 내 발자취를 씻으며 바위가 나를 위하여 기름 시내를 쏟아냈으며
  2. 그 때에는 내가 나가서 성문에 이르기도 하며 내 자리를 거리에 마련하기도 하였느니라
  3. 나를 보고 젊은이들은 숨으며 노인들은 일어나서 서며
  4. 유지들은 말을 삼가고 손으로 입을 가리며
  5. 지도자들은 말소리를 낮추었으니 그들의 혀가 입천장에 붙었느니라
  1. "For when the ear heard, it called me blessed, And when the eye saw, it gave witness of me,
  2. Because I delivered the poor who cried for help, And the orphan who had no helper.
  3. "The blessing of the one ready to perish came upon me, And I made the widow's heart sing for joy.
  4. "I put on righteousness, and it clothed me; My justice was like a robe and a turban.
  5. "I was eyes to the blind And feet to the lame.
  1. 귀가 들은즉 나를 축복하고 눈이 본즉 나를 증언하였나니
  2. 이는 부르짖는 빈민과 도와 줄 자 없는 고아를 내가 건졌음이라
  3. 망하게 된 자도 나를 위하여 복을 빌었으며 과부의 마음이 나로 말미암아 기뻐 노래하였느니라
  4. 내가 의를 옷으로 삼아 입었으며 나의 정의는 겉옷과 모자 같았느니라
  5. 나는 맹인의 눈도 되고 다리 저는 사람의 발도 되고
  1. "I was a father to the needy, And I investigated the case which I did not know.
  2. "I broke the jaws of the wicked And snatched the prey from his teeth.
  3. "Then I thought, 'I shall die in my nest, And I shall multiply my days as the sand.
  4. 'My root is spread out to the waters, And dew lies all night on my branch.
  5. 'My glory is ever new with me, And my bow is renewed in my hand.'
  1. 빈궁한 자의 아버지도 되며 내가 모르는 사람의 송사를 돌보아 주었으며
  2. 불의한 자의 턱뼈를 부수고 노획한 물건을 그 잇새에서 빼내었느니라
  3. 내가 스스로 말하기를 나는 내 보금자리에서 숨을 거두며 나의 날은 모래알 같이 많으리라 하였느니라
  4. 내 뿌리는 물로 뻗어나가고 이슬이 내 가지에서 밤을 지내고 갈 것이며
  5. 내 영광은 내게 새로워지고 내 손에서 내 화살이 끊이지 않았노라
  1. "To me they listened and waited, And kept silent for my counsel.
  2. "After my words they did not speak again, And my speech dropped on them.
  3. "They waited for me as for the rain, And opened their mouth as for the spring rain.
  4. "I smiled on them when they did not believe, And the light of my face they did not cast down.
  5. "I chose a way for them and sat as chief, And dwelt as a king among the troops, As one who comforted the mourners.
  1. 무리는 내 말을 듣고 희망을 걸었으며 내가 가르칠 때에 잠잠하였노라
  2. 내가 말한 후에는 그들이 말을 거듭하지 못하였나니 나의 말이 그들에게 스며들었음이라
  3. 그들은 비를 기다리듯 나를 기다렸으며 봄비를 맞이하듯 입을 벌렸느니라
  4. 그들이 의지 없을 때에 내가 미소하면 그들이 나의 얼굴 빛을 무색하게 아니하였느니라
  5. 내가 그들의 길을 택하여 주고 으뜸되는 자리에 앉았나니 왕이 군대 중에 있는 것과도 같았고 애곡하는 자를 위로하는 사람과도 같았느니라
