누가복음 16:19-17:10

 예수님은 부자와 거지 나사로의 비유를 들어 재물을 올바로 사용할 것을 교훈하셨다. 또한 제자들에게 이웃에 대한 용서와 믿음의 능력과 하나님께 대한 충성을 가르치셨다.
  
  부자와 나사로의 비유(16:19-16:31)    
 
  1. "There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day.
  2. At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores
  3. and longing to eat what fell from the rich man's table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores.
  4. "The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham's side. The rich man also died and was buried.
  5. In hell, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side.
  1. 한 부자가 있어 자색 옷과 고운 베옷을 입고 날마다 호화로이 연락하는데
  2. 나사로라 이름한 한 거지가 헌데를 앓으며 그 부자의 대문에 누워
  3. 부자의 상에서 떨어지는 것으로 배불리려 하매 심지어 개들이 와서 그 헌데를 핥더라
  4. 이에 그 거지가 죽어 천사들에게 받들려 아브라함의 품에 들어가고 부자도 죽어 장사되매
  5. 저가 음부에서 고통 중에 눈을 들어 멀리 아브라함과 그의 품에 있는 나사로를 보고
  1. So he called to him, 'Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.'
  2. "But Abraham replied, 'Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony.
  3. And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been fixed, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.'
  4. "He answered, 'Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my father's house,
  5. for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.'
  1. 불러 가로되 아버지 아브라함이여 나를 긍휼히 여기사 나사로를 보내어 그 손가락 끝에 물을 찍어 내 혀를 서늘하게 하소서 내가 이 불꽃 가운데서 고민하나이다
  2. 아브라함이 가로되 얘 너는 살았을 때에 네 좋은 것을 받았고 나사로는 고난을 받았으니 이것을 기억하라 이제 저는 여기서 위로를 받고 너는 고민을 받느니라
  3. 이뿐 아니라 너희와 우리 사이에 큰 구렁이 끼어 있어 여기서 너희에게 건너가고자 하되 할 수 없고 거기서 우리에게 건너 올 수도 없게 하였느니라
  4. 가로되 그러면 구하노니 아버지여 나사로를 내 아버지의 집에 보내소서
  5. 내 형제 다섯이 있으니 저희에게 증거하게 하여 저희로 이 고통 받는 곳에 오지 않게 하소서
  1. "Abraham replied, 'They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.'
  2. " 'No, father Abraham,' he said, 'but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.'
  3. "He said to him, 'If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.' "
  1. 아브라함이 가로되 저희에게 모세와 선지자들이 있으니 그들에게 들을찌니라
  2. 가로되 그렇지 아니하니이다 아버지 아브라함이여 만일 죽은 자에게서 저희에게 가는 자가 있으면 회개하리이다
  3. 가로되 모세와 선지자들에게 듣지 아니하면 비록 죽은 자 가운데서 살아나는 자가 있을찌라도 권함을 받지 아니하리라 하였다 하시니라
 
  용서, 믿음, 충성에 대한 교훈(17:1-17:10)    
 
  1. Jesus said to his disciples: "Things that cause people to sin are bound to come, but woe to that person through whom they come.
  2. It would be better for him to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around his neck than for him to cause one of these little ones to sin.
  3. So watch yourselves. "If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him.
  4. If he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times comes back to you and says, 'I repent,' forgive him."
  5. The apostles said to the Lord, "Increase our faith!"
  1. 예수께서 제자들에게 이르시되 실족케 하는 것이 없을 수는 없으나 있게 하는 자에게는 화로다
  2. 저가 이 작은 자 중에 하나를 실족케 할찐대 차라리 연자맷돌을 그 목에 매이우고 바다에 던지우는 것이 나으리라
  3. 너희는 스스로 조심하라 만일 네 형제가 죄를 범하거든 경계하고 회개하거든 용서하라
  4. 만일 하루 일곱번이라도 네게 죄를 얻고 일곱번 네게 돌아와 내가 회개하노라 하거든 너는 용서하라 하시더라
  5. 사도들이 주께 여짜오되 우리에게 믿음을 더하소서 하니
  1. He replied, "If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, 'Be uprooted and planted in the sea,' and it will obey you.
  2. "Suppose one of you had a servant plowing or looking after the sheep. Would he say to the servant when he comes in from the field, 'Come along now and sit down to eat'?
  3. Would he not rather say, 'Prepare my supper, get yourself ready and wait on me while I eat and drink; after that you may eat and drink'?
  4. Would he thank the servant because he did what he was told to do?
  5. So you also, when you have done everything you were told to do, should say, 'We are unworthy servants; we have only done our duty.' "
  1. 주께서 가라사대 너희에게 겨자씨 한알만한 믿음이 있었더면 이 뽕나무더러 뿌리가 뽑혀 바다에 심기우라 하였을 것이요 그것이 너희에게 순종하였으리라
  2. 너희 중에 뉘게 밭을 갈거나 양을 치거나 하는 종이 있어 밭에서 돌아 오면 저더러 곧 와 앉아서 먹으라 할 자가 있느냐
  3. 도리어 저더러 내 먹을 것을 예비하고 띠를 띠고 나의 먹고 마시는 동안에 수종들고 너는 그 후에 먹고 마시라 하지 않겠느냐
  4. 명한대로 하였다고 종에게 사례하겠느냐
  5. 이와 같이 너희도 명령 받은 것을 다 행한 후에 이르기를 우리는 무익한 종이라 우리의 하여야 할 일을 한것 뿐이라 할찌니라
