- Why do the nations conspire and the peoples plot in vain?
- The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers gather together against the LORD and against his Anointed One.
- "Let us break their chains," they say, "and throw off their fetters."
- The One enthroned in heaven laughs; the Lord scoffs at them.
- Then he rebukes them in his anger and terrifies them in his wrath, saying,

- 야훼를 거슬러, 그 기름 부은 자를 거슬러 세상의 왕들은 들썩거리고 왕족들은 음모를 꾸미며
- "이 사슬을 끊어버리자!" "이 멍에를 벗어버리자!" 한다마는
- 하늘 옥좌에 앉으신 야훼, 가소로워 웃으시다가
- 드디어 분노를 터뜨려 호통치시고 노기 띤 음성으로 호령하신다.
