마태복음 21:33-22:14

 예수님은 악한 농부의 비유와 혼인 잔치의 비유를 통해서 예수님의 재림하시는 심판주 되심을 밝히신 동시에 하나님의 구원의 초청을 거부한 이스라엘 백성을 책망하셨다.
  
  혼인 잔치의 비유(21:33-22:14)    
 
  1. "Listen to another parable: There was a landowner who planted a vineyard. He put a wall around it, dug a winepress in it and built a watchtower. Then he rented the vineyard to some farmers and went away on a journey.
  2. When the harvest time approached, he sent his servants to the tenants to collect his fruit.
  3. "The tenants seized his servants; they beat one, killed another, and stoned a third.
  4. Then he sent other servants to them, more than the first time, and the tenants treated them the same way.
  5. Last of all, he sent his son to them. 'They will respect my son,' he said.
  1. "또 다른 비유를 들겠다. 어떤 지주가 포도원을 하나 만들고 울타리를 둘러치고는 그 안에 포도즙을 짜는 큰 확을 파고 망대를 세웠다. 그리고는 그것을 소작인들에게 도지로 주고 멀리 떠나갔다.
  2. 포도 철이 되자 그는 그 도조를 받아오라고 종들을 보냈다.
  3. 그런데 소작인들은 그 종들을 붙잡아, 하나는 때려주고 하나는 죽이고 하나는 돌로 쳐죽였다.
  4. 지주는 더 많은 종들을 다시 보냈다. 소작인들은 이번에도 그들에게 똑같은 짓을 했다.
  5. 주인은 마지막으로 '내 아들이야 알아보겠지.' 하며 자기 아들을 보냈다.
  1. "But when the tenants saw the son, they said to each other, 'This is the heir. Come, let's kill him and take his inheritance.'
  2. So they took him and threw him out of the vineyard and killed him.
  3. "Therefore, when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those tenants?"
  4. "He will bring those wretches to a wretched end," they replied, "and he will rent the vineyard to other tenants, who will give him his share of the crop at harvest time."
  5. Jesus said to them, "Have you never read in the Scriptures: " 'The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone; the Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes'?
  1. 그러나 소작인들은 그 아들을 보자 '저자는 상속자다. 자, 저자를 죽이고 그가 차지할 이 포도원을 우리가 가로채자.' 하면서 서로 짜고는
  2. 그를 잡아 포도원 밖으로 끌어내어 죽였다.
  3. 그렇게 했으니 포도원 주인이 돌아오면 그 소작인들을 어떻게 하겠느냐?"
  4. 사람들은 이렇게 대답하였다. "그 악한 자들을 모조리 죽여버리고 제때에 도조를 바칠 다른 소작인들에게 포도원을 맡길 것입니다."
  5. 그래서 예수께서는 그들에게 이렇게 말씀하셨다. "너희는 성서에서, '집 짓는 사람들이 버린 돌이 모퉁이의 머릿돌이 되었다. 주께서 하시는 일이라, 우리에게는 놀랍게만 보인다.' 한 말을 읽어본 일이 없느냐?
  1. "Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit.
  2. He who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces, but he on whom it falls will be crushed."
  3. When the chief priests and the Pharisees heard Jesus' parables, they knew he was talking about them.
  4. They looked for a way to arrest him, but they were afraid of the crowd because the people held that he was a prophet.
  1. 잘 들어라. 너희는 하느님의 나라를 빼앗길 것이며 도조를 잘 내는 백성들이 그 나라를 차지할 것이다.
  2. (그리고 그 돌 위에 떨어지는 사람은 산산조각이 날 것이며 그 돌 밑에 깔리는 사람은 가루가 되고 말 것이다.")
  3. 대사제들과 바리사이파 사람들은 이 비유가 자기들을 두고 하신 말씀인 것을 알고
  4. 예수를 잡으려 하였으나 군중이 두려워서 손을 대지 못하였다. 군중이 예수를 예언자로 알고 있었기 때문이다.
 
 
  1. Jesus spoke to them again in parables, saying:
  2. "The kingdom of heaven is like a king who prepared a wedding banquet for his son.
  3. He sent his servants to those who had been invited to the banquet to tell them to come, but they refused to come.
  4. "Then he sent some more servants and said, 'Tell those who have been invited that I have prepared my dinner: My oxen and fattened cattle have been butchered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding banquet.'
  5. "But they paid no attention and went off--one to his field, another to his business.
  1. 예수께서 또 비유를 들어 그들에게 말씀하셨다.
  2. "하늘 나라는 어느 임금이 자기 아들의 혼인 잔치를 베푼 것에 비길 수 있다.
  3. 임금이 종들을 보내어 잔치에 초청받은 사람들을 불렀으나 오려 하지 않았다.
  4. 그래서 다른 종들을 보내면서 '초청을 받은 사람들에게 가서 이제 잔칫상도 차려놓고 소와 살진 짐승도 잡아 모든 준비를 다 갖추었으니 어서 잔치에 오라고 하여라.' 하고 일렀다.
  5. 그러나 초청받은 사람들은 대수롭지 않게 여기고 어떤 사람은 밭으로 가고 어떤 사람은 장사하러 가고
  1. The rest seized his servants, mistreated them and killed them.
  2. The king was enraged. He sent his army and destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
  3. "Then he said to his servants, 'The wedding banquet is ready, but those I invited did not deserve to come.
  4. Go to the street corners and invite to the banquet anyone you find.'
  5. So the servants went out into the streets and gathered all the people they could find, both good and bad, and the wedding hall was filled with guests.
  1. 또 어떤 사람들은 그 종들을 붙잡아 때려주기도 하고 죽이기도 했다.
  2. 그래서 임금은 몹시 노하여 군대를 풀어서 그 살인자들을 잡아죽이고 그들의 동네를 불살라 버렸다.
  3. 그리고 나서 종들에게 '혼인 잔치는 준비되었지만 전에 초청받은 자들은 그만한 자격이 없는 자들이었다.
  4. 그러니 너희는 거리에 나가서 아무나 만나는 대로 잔치에 청해 오너라.' 하고 말하였다.
  5. 그래서 종들은 거리에 나가 나쁜 사람 좋은 사람 할 것 없이 만나는 대로 다 데려왔다. 그리하여 잔칫집은 손님으로 가득 찼다.
  1. "But when the king came in to see the guests, he noticed a man there who was not wearing wedding clothes.
  2. 'Friend,' he asked, 'how did you get in here without wedding clothes?' The man was speechless.
  3. "Then the king told the attendants, 'Tie him hand and foot, and throw him outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'
  4. "For many are invited, but few are chosen."
  1. 임금이 손님들을 보러 들어갔더니 예복을 입지 않은 사람이 하나 있었다. 그를 보고
  2. '예복도 입지 않고 어떻게 여기 들어왔소?' 하고 물었다. 그는 할 말이 없었다.
  3. 그러자 임금이 하인들에게 '이 사람의 손발을 묶어 바깥 어두운 데 내쫓아라. 거기서 가슴을 치며 통곡할 것이다.' 하고 말하였다.
  4. 부르심을 받은 사람은 많지만 뽑히는 사람은 적다."
