레위기

  본서는 이스라엘 백성들이 성막을 완성한 후로부터 시내 산을 출발할 때까지의 두 달 동안 하나님께서 모세에게 지시하신 내용들을 기록하고 있다. 특히 제사 의식과 속죄에 관한 내용이 자세히 기록되어 있으며, 속죄의 피를 통한 성결과 하나님께서 지시하신 거룩한 삶에 대한 명확한 기준을 제시하고 있다.

  1장부터 16장까지는 하나님과 그의 백성간에 가로막혀 있는 죄의 담을 헐고 구속하시려는 하나님의 섭리를 담고 있으며, 17장부터 27장까지는 하나님의 백성들이 정결하고 거룩한 삶을 살기 위해 지켜야 할 일련의 실천적 기준들을 제시하고 있다.

 

 

레위기 1:1-3:17

 번제는 소, 양, 염소의 흠 없는 수컷, 또는 비둘기를 불살라 화제로 드렸다. 소제는 번제, 화목제와 함께 드리는 제사로서, 빻은 곡식을 그대로 드리거나 요리해서 드리되 누룩이나 꿀을 넣지 않고 부패를 방지하는 소금을 쳐서 화제로 드렸다. 화목제는 소, 양, 염소 중 흠 없는 것을 잡아 그 피는 제단에 뿌리고 기름은 단 위에 불살라 화제로 드렸다.
  
  번제(1:1-1:17)    
 
  1. The LORD called to Moses and spoke to him from the Tent of Meeting. He said,
  2. "Speak to the Israelites and say to them: 'When any of you brings an offering to the LORD, bring as your offering an animal from either the herd or the flock.
  3. " 'If the offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he is to offer a male without defect. He must present it at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting so that it will be acceptable to the LORD.
  4. He is to lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering, and it will be accepted on his behalf to make atonement for him.
  5. He is to slaughter the young bull before the LORD, and then Aaron's sons the priests shall bring the blood and sprinkle it against the altar on all sides at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.
  1. 야훼께서 만남의 장막에서 모세를 부르시고 말씀하셨다.
  2. "너는 이스라엘 백성에게 이렇게 일러라. 그들에게 이렇게 말하여라. '너희 가운데 누구든지 야훼께 예물을 바쳐야 할 경우에는, 가축 가운데서는 소나 양을 예물로 바쳐야 한다.
  3. 누구든지 소를 번제물로 바치려면 흠이 없는 수컷을 바치되 야훼께서 기뻐 받으시도록 만남의 장막 문간으로 끌어다가 그 앞에 바쳐야 한다.
  4. 그리고 번제물의 머리에 손을 얹도록 하여라. 그러면 그것이 그의 죄를 벗겨주는 제물로 받아들여질 것이다.
  5. 그는 야훼 앞에서 그 소를 죽여야 하며, 아론의 혈통을 이어받은 사제들이 그 피를 바치는데 만남의 장막 문간에 있는 제단의 주변에 그 피를 두루 뿌려야 한다.
  1. He is to skin the burnt offering and cut it into pieces.
  2. The sons of Aaron the priest are to put fire on the altar and arrange wood on the fire.
  3. Then Aaron's sons the priests shall arrange the pieces, including the head and the fat, on the burning wood that is on the altar.
  4. He is to wash the inner parts and the legs with water, and the priest is to burn all of it on the altar. It is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, an aroma pleasing to the LORD.
  5. " 'If the offering is a burnt offering from the flock, from either the sheep or the goats, he is to offer a male without defect.
  1. 다음으로, 번제물을 바치는 사람이 그 가죽을 벗기고 고기를 저며야 한다.
  2. 아론의 혈통을 이어받은 사제들은 제단 위에 불을 피우고 그 불에 장작을 펴놓아야 한다.
  3. 아론의 혈통을 이어받은 사제들은 이 제단 위에 피운 장작불에 제물의 저민 고기와 머리와 기름기를 차려놓아야 한다.
  4. 제물을 바치는 사람이 내장과 다리들을 물에 씻으면, 사제들은 그것도 제단 위에 차려놓고 모조리 살라야 한다. 이 번제는 불에 타면서 향기를 풍겨 야훼를 기쁘게 해드리는 제사이다.
  5. 누구든지 면양이나 염소를 번제물로 바치려면, 흠이 없는 수컷으로 바쳐야 한다.
  1. He is to slaughter it at the north side of the altar before the LORD, and Aaron's sons the priests shall sprinkle its blood against the altar on all sides.
  2. He is to cut it into pieces, and the priest shall arrange them, including the head and the fat, on the burning wood that is on the altar.
  3. He is to wash the inner parts and the legs with water, and the priest is to bring all of it and burn it on the altar. It is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, an aroma pleasing to the LORD.
  4. " 'If the offering to the LORD is a burnt offering of birds, he is to offer a dove or a young pigeon.
  5. The priest shall bring it to the altar, wring off the head and burn it on the altar; its blood shall be drained out on the side of the altar.
  1. 그가 그것을 제단 북쪽 야훼 앞에서 죽이면 아론의 혈통을 이어받은 사제들이 그 피를 제단의 주변에 두루 뿌려야 한다.
  2. 제물을 바치는 사람이 그 고기를 저며놓으면, 사제들은 머리와 기름기와 함께 그 고기를 제단 위에 피운 장작불에 차려놓아야 한다.
  3. 제물을 바치는 사람이 내장과 다리들을 물에 씻으면, 사제들은 그것도 제단 위에 차려놓고 모조리 살라야 한다. 이 번제는 불에 타면서 향기를 풍겨 야훼를 기쁘게 해드리는 제사이다.
  4. 누구든지 날짐승을 야훼께 번제물로 바치려면, 산비둘기나 집비둘기를 바쳐야 한다.
  5. 사제는 그것을 제단에 가져다가 목을 부러뜨려서 제단 위에서 사르고 피는 제단 턱에 대고 빼어야 한다.
  1. He is to remove the crop with its contents and throw it to the east side of the altar, where the ashes are.
  2. He shall tear it open by the wings, not severing it completely, and then the priest shall burn it on the wood that is on the fire on the altar. It is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, an aroma pleasing to the LORD.
  1. 제물을 바치는 사람은 멱통과 오물을 함께 떼어내어 제단 동쪽 잿더미에 버려야 한다.
  2. 그리고 두 날개를 잡고 아주 떨어지지 않게 몸통을 찢어놓으면 사제는 그것을 제단에 피운 장작불에 살라야 한다. 이 번제는 불에 타면서 향기를 풍겨 야훼를 기쁘게 해드리는 제사이다.
 
  소제(2:1-2:16)    
 
  1. " 'When someone brings a grain offering to the LORD, his offering is to be of fine flour. He is to pour oil on it, put incense on it
  2. and take it to Aaron's sons the priests. The priest shall take a handful of the fine flour and oil, together with all the incense, and burn this as a memorial portion on the altar, an offering made by fire, an aroma pleasing to the LORD.
  3. The rest of the grain offering belongs to Aaron and his sons; it is a most holy part of the offerings made to the LORD by fire.
  4. " 'If you bring a grain offering baked in an oven, it is to consist of fine flour: cakes made without yeast and mixed with oil, or wafers made without yeast and spread with oil.
  5. If your grain offering is prepared on a griddle, it is to be made of fine flour mixed with oil, and without yeast.
  1. 누구든지 야훼께 곡식을 예물로 바칠 경우에는 밀가루를 바치는데 그 위에 기름을 붓고 향을 얹어
  2. 아론의 혈통을 이어받은 사제들에게 가져와야 한다. 그 향 전부와 기름 뺀 밀가루를 한줌 가득 움켜 내어주면 사제는 그것을 정성의 표시로 받아 제단에서 살라야 한다. 이것이 불에 타면서 향기를 풍겨 야훼를 기쁘게 해드리는 제사이다.
  3. 이 곡식예물의 남은 부분은 아론과 그의 아들들의 몫이다. 이것은 야훼께 살라 바치는 거룩한 예물 가운데서도 가장 거룩한 예물이다.
  4. 가마에 구운 곡식예물을 바칠 경우에는, 고운 밀가루를 가지고 누룩 없이 기름으로 만든 과자나 누룩 없이 기름만 발라 만든 속 빈 과자를 바쳐야 한다.
  5. 빵 굽는 판에 구운 곡식예물을 바치려면 고운 밀가루를 누룩 없이 기름으로 반죽한 것이라야 한다.
  1. Crumble it and pour oil on it; it is a grain offering.
  2. If your grain offering is cooked in a pan, it is to be made of fine flour and oil.
  3. Bring the grain offering made of these things to the LORD; present it to the priest, who shall take it to the altar.
  4. He shall take out the memorial portion from the grain offering and burn it on the altar as an offering made by fire, an aroma pleasing to the LORD.
  5. The rest of the grain offering belongs to Aaron and his sons; it is a most holy part of the offerings made to the LORD by fire.
  1. 그것을 잘게 썰고 그 위에 기름을 부어라. 그것이 곡식예물이다.
  2. 냄비에 구운 곡식예물을 바치려면 고운 밀가루에 기름만 넣어 만든 것이어야 한다.
  3. 너희가 이렇게 만든 곡식예물을 야훼께 가져다가 사제에게 드리면, 사제는 제단으로 가져다가
  4. 그 곡식예물에서 조금 갈라내어 정성의 표시로 제단에서 살라야 한다. 이것이 불에 타면서 향기를 풍겨 야훼를 기쁘게 해드리는 예물이다.
  5. 그 곡식예물에서 남은 것은 아론과 그의 아들들의 몫이다. 이것은 야훼께 살라 바치는 예물로서 더없이 거룩한 것이다.
  1. " 'Every grain offering you bring to the LORD must be made without yeast, for you are not to burn any yeast or honey in an offering made to the LORD by fire.
  2. You may bring them to the LORD as an offering of the firstfruits, but they are not to be offered on the altar as a pleasing aroma.
  3. Season all your grain offerings with salt. Do not leave the salt of the covenant of your God out of your grain offerings; add salt to all your offerings.
  4. " 'If you bring a grain offering of firstfruits to the LORD, offer crushed heads of new grain roasted in the fire.
  5. Put oil and incense on it; it is a grain offering.
  1. 너희가 야훼께 바치는 곡식예물은 어떤 것이든지 누룩을 넣어서 만들면 안 된다. 야훼께 살라 바치는 제물에 누룩이나 꿀은 넣지 못한다.
  2. 햇곡식을 곡식예물로 야훼께 바칠 경우에는 그런 것을 넣어도 되지만 향기를 풍겨 야훼를 기쁘게 해드리기 위하여 그런 것을 제단에 바쳐서는 안 된다.
  3. 너희가 드리는 곡식예물에는 반드시 소금을 쳐야 한다. 너희 곡식예물에 너희 하느님과 계약을 맺을 때 치는 소금이 들어가지 않으면 안 된다. 너희가 바치는 모든 예물에 소금을 쳐야 한다.
  4. 너희가 햇곡식을 곡식예물로 야훼께 바칠 때가 되거든 이삭을 불에 볶거나 햇곡식을 찧어 바치되
  5. 그 위에 기름을 붓고 향을 얹어서 바쳐라. 이것이 곡식예물이다.
  1. The priest shall burn the memorial portion of the crushed grain and the oil, together with all the incense, as an offering made to the LORD by fire.
  1. 사제는 찧은 곡식에 기름을 부은 것을 조금 갈라내어 정성의 표시로 향 전부와 함께 살라 바쳐야 한다. 이것이 야훼께 살라 바치는 예물이다.
 
  화목제(3:1-3:17)    
 
  1. " 'If someone's offering is a fellowship offering, and he offers an animal from the herd, whether male or female, he is to present before the LORD an animal without defect.
  2. He is to lay his hand on the head of his offering and slaughter it at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. Then Aaron's sons the priests shall sprinkle the blood against the altar on all sides.
  3. From the fellowship offering he is to bring a sacrifice made to the LORD by fire: all the fat that covers the inner parts or is connected to them,
  4. both kidneys with the fat on them near the loins, and the covering of the liver, which he will remove with the kidneys.
  5. Then Aaron's sons are to burn it on the altar on top of the burnt offering that is on the burning wood, as an offering made by fire, an aroma pleasing to the LORD.
  1. 누구든지 친교제물을 드리는데 소를 바치려면, 수컷이거나 암컷이거나 흠이 없는 것으로 야훼께 바쳐야 한다.
  2. 바치는 사람이 손을 그 소 머리에 얹고 나서 만남의 장막 문간에서 죽여야 한다. 그러면 아론의 혈통을 이어받은 사제들이 그 피를 제단의 주변에 두루 뿌려야 한다.
  3. 이 친교제물에서 야훼께 살라 바칠 것은 내장을 덮은 기름기와 내장에 붙은 모든 기름기,
  4. 두 콩팥과 거기에 붙어 있는 기름기, 곧 허리께의 기름기와 간과 콩팥에서 떼어낸 기름 덩어리이다.
  5. 아론의 아들들은 이것을 제단에 피운 장작불 위에 놓인 번제물에 얹어 살라야 한다. 이것이 불에 타면서 향기를 풍겨 야훼를 기쁘게 해드리는 제물이다.
  1. " 'If he offers an animal from the flock as a fellowship offering to the LORD, he is to offer a male or female without defect.
  2. If he offers a lamb, he is to present it before the LORD.
  3. He is to lay his hand on the head of his offering and slaughter it in front of the Tent of Meeting. Then Aaron's sons shall sprinkle its blood against the altar on all sides.
  4. From the fellowship offering he is to bring a sacrifice made to the LORD by fire: its fat, the entire fat tail cut off close to the backbone, all the fat that covers the inner parts or is connected to them,
  5. both kidneys with the fat on them near the loins, and the covering of the liver, which he will remove with the kidneys.
  1. 누구든지 양을 친교제물로 야훼께 바치려면 수컷이거나 암컷이거나 흠이 없는 것으로 바쳐야 한다.
  2. 어린 양을 제물로 바칠 사람은 그 양을 야훼께 끌고 와서
  3. 그 제물의 머리에 손을 얹고 나서 만남의 장막 앞에서 죽여야 한다. 그러면 아론의 아들들은 그 피를 제단의 주변에 두루 뿌려야 한다.
  4. 제물 바치는 사람은 친교제물에서 기름기를 떼어 야훼께 살라 바치는 제물로 바쳐야 한다. 그것은 곧 궁둥이뼈에서 떼어낸 꼬리 전부와 그 내장을 덮은 기름기와 내장에 붙은 모든 기름기,
  5. 또 콩팥과 거기에 붙어 있는 기름기 곧 허리께에 붙은 기름기, 간과 콩팥에서 떼어낸 기름 덩어리이다.
  1. The priest shall burn them on the altar as food, an offering made to the LORD by fire.
  2. " 'If his offering is a goat, he is to present it before the LORD.
  3. He is to lay his hand on its head and slaughter it in front of the Tent of Meeting. Then Aaron's sons shall sprinkle its blood against the altar on all sides.
  4. From what he offers he is to make this offering to the LORD by fire: all the fat that covers the inner parts or is connected to them,
  5. both kidneys with the fat on them near the loins, and the covering of the liver, which he will remove with the kidneys.
  1. 사제는 이것을 야훼께 올리는 제물로 제단 위에서 살라 바쳐야 한다.
  2. 누구든지 염소를 제물로 바치려면 그 염소를 야훼께 끌고 와,
  3. 그 머리에 손을 얹고 나서 만남의 장막 앞에서 죽여야 한다. 그러면 아론의 아들들은 그 피를 제단의 주변에 두루 뿌려야 한다.
  4. 그 제물에서 야훼께 살라 바칠 부분은 내장을 덮은 기름기와 내장에 붙은 모든 기름기와
  5. 콩팥과 거기에 붙어 있는 기름기 곧 허리께에 붙어 있는 기름기, 그리고 간과 콩팥에서 떼어낸 기름 덩어리이다.
  1. The priest shall burn them on the altar as food, an offering made by fire, a pleasing aroma. All the fat is the LORD's.
  2. " 'This is a lasting ordinance for the generations to come, wherever you live: You must not eat any fat or any blood.' "
  1. 사제는 그것들을 제단에서 살라 바쳐야 한다. 이것이 불에 타면서 향기를 풍겨 야훼를 기쁘게 해드리는 제물이다. 기름기는 모두 야훼께 바쳐야 한다.
  2. 너희는 어디에 살든지 대대로 영원히 이 규정을 지켜야 한다. 기름기나 피는 결코 먹지 마라.'"
