레위기 17:1-18:30

 하나님께서는 선민 이스라엘 백성들에게 생명의 상징인 피와 버려진 짐승의 시체를 먹지 말 것을 명령하셨다. 그리고 그들이 전에 살았던 애굽과 앞으로 들어가서 살게 될 가나안 땅의 악한 풍습을 본받지 말 것을 강력하게 명령하셨다.
  
  피에 관한 규례(17:1-17:16)    
 
  1. The LORD said to Moses,
  2. "Speak to Aaron and his sons and to all the Israelites and say to them: 'This is what the LORD has commanded:
  3. Any Israelite who sacrifices an ox, a lamb or a goat in the camp or outside of it
  4. instead of bringing it to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting to present it as an offering to the LORD in front of the tabernacle of the LORD -that man shall be considered guilty of bloodshed; he has shed blood and must be cut off from his people.
  5. This is so the Israelites will bring to the LORD the sacrifices they are now making in the open fields. They must bring them to the priest, that is, to the LORD, at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting and sacrifice them as fellowship offerings.
  1. 야훼께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다.
  2. "너는 아론과 그의 아들들과 온 이스라엘 백성에게 이렇게 일러주어라. '이것은 야훼의 말씀이시다.
  3. 이스라엘 가문에 속한 사람은 누구든지 소나 어린 양이나 염소를 진지 안에서 잡으려고 하든지 진지 밖에서 잡으려고 하든지
  4. 먼저 만남의 장막 문간으로 끌고 와 야훼의 성막 앞에서 야훼께 예물로 그것을 바쳐야 한다. 그냥 피를 흘리면 그 피 흘린 것에 대한 벌을 면할 수 없다. 그 사람은 겨레에서 추방해야 한다.
  5. 그러므로 이스라엘 백성은 들에서 죽이려던 짐승들을 만남의 장막 문간의 사제에게 끌고 와서 야훼께 바쳐야 한다. 그것은 야훼께 잡아 바치는 친교제물이 된다.
  1. The priest is to sprinkle the blood against the altar of the LORD at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting and burn the fat as an aroma pleasing to the LORD.
  2. They must no longer offer any of their sacrifices to the goat idols to whom they prostitute themselves. This is to be a lasting ordinance for them and for the generations to come.'
  3. "Say to them: 'Any Israelite or any alien living among them who offers a burnt offering or sacrifice
  4. and does not bring it to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting to sacrifice it to the LORD -that man must be cut off from his people.
  5. " 'Any Israelite or any alien living among them who eats any blood--I will set my face against that person who eats blood and will cut him off from his people.
  1. 사제는 그 피를 만남의 장막 문간에서 야훼의 제단에 흘리고, 그 기름기를 살라 향기를 풍기며 야훼를 기쁘게 해드려야 한다.
  2. 그들은 더 이상 그들의 제물을 염소귀신들에게 잡아 바치면서 그 귀신들을 따라 음행을 저지르지 못한다. 이것은 그들이 대대로 길이 지킬 규정이다.'
  3. 너는 또 그들에게 일러주어라. '이스라엘 가문에 속한 사람은 물론 그들 가운데 몸붙여 사는 사람들까지도 번제물이나 다른 무슨 제물을 드리려고 하면

  5. 이스라엘 가문에 속한 사람은 물론 그들 가운데 몸붙여 사는 사람들까지도 무슨 피든 피를 먹으면, 나는 그 피를 먹은 사람을 괘씸하게 여겨 겨레 가운데서 추방하리라.
  1. For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for one's life.
  2. Therefore I say to the Israelites, "None of you may eat blood, nor may an alien living among you eat blood."
  3. " 'Any Israelite or any alien living among you who hunts any animal or bird that may be eaten must drain out the blood and cover it with earth,
  4. because the life of every creature is its blood. That is why I have said to the Israelites, "You must not eat the blood of any creature, because the life of every creature is its blood; anyone who eats it must be cut off."
  5. " 'Anyone, whether native-born or alien, who eats anything found dead or torn by wild animals must wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will be ceremonially unclean till evening; then he will be clean.
  1. 생물의 목숨은 그 피에 있는 것이다. 그 피는 너희 자신의 죄를 벗는 제물로서, 제단에 바치라고 내가 너희에게 준 것이다. 이 피야말로 생명을 쏟아 죄를 벗겨주는 것이기 때문이다.
  2. 내가 이스라엘 백성에게 일러둔다. 너희는 아무도 피를 먹지 마라. 너희 가운데 몸붙여 사는 사람도 피를 먹으면 안 된다.
  3. 이스라엘 가문에 속한 사람은 물론 그들 가운데 몸붙여 사는 사람들까지도 사냥해서 먹어도 좋은 들짐승이나 새를 잡았거든, 그 피를 흘리고 흙으로 덮어야 한다.
  4. 피는 곧 모든 생물의 생명이다. 내가 이스라엘 백성에게 일러둔다. 어떤 생물의 피도 너희는 먹지 마라. 피는 곧 모든 생물의 생명이다. 그것을 먹는 사람은 내가 겨레 가운데서 추방하리라.
  5. 자연사한 짐승이나 야수에게 찢겨 죽은 짐승을 먹는 사람은 본토인이든지 몸붙여 사는 사람이든지, 옷을 빨아 입고 목욕을 하여야 한다. 그래도 저녁때가 되어야 부정을 벗고 정하게 된다.
  1. But if he does not wash his clothes and bathe himself, he will be held responsible.' "
  1. 그러나 옷을 빨지도 않고 목욕도 하지 않으면 그는 죄벌을 면치 못하리라.'"
 
  비정상적인 성 관계 금지(18:1-18:30)    
 
  1. The LORD said to Moses,
  2. "Speak to the Israelites and say to them: 'I am the LORD your God.
  3. You must not do as they do in Egypt, where you used to live, and you must not do as they do in the land of Canaan, where I am bringing you. Do not follow their practices.
  4. You must obey my laws and be careful to follow my decrees. I am the LORD your God.
  5. Keep my decrees and laws, for the man who obeys them will live by them. I am the LORD.
  1. 야훼께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다.
  2. "너는 이스라엘 백성에게 이렇게 일러주어라. '나 야훼가 너희 하느님이다.
  3. 너희는 너희가 살던 이집트 땅의 풍속을 따라 살지도 말고, 내가 너희를 이끌고 들어갈 가나안 땅의 풍속을 따라 살지도 마라. 그들의 규정을 따르지 마라.
  4. 너희는 내가 세워주는 법을 실천하여라. 내가 정해 주는 규정을 지키며 그대로 살아라. 나 야훼가 너희 하느님이다.
  5. 너희는 내가 정해 주는 규정과 내가 세워주는 법을 지켜야 한다. 누구든지 그것을 실천하면 살리라. 나는 야훼이다.
  1. " 'No one is to approach any close relative to have sexual relations. I am the LORD.
  2. " 'Do not dishonor your father by having sexual relations with your mother. She is your mother; do not have relations with her.
  3. " 'Do not have sexual relations with your father's wife; that would dishonor your father.
  4. " 'Do not have sexual relations with your sister, either your father's daughter or your mother's daughter, whether she was born in the same home or elsewhere.
  5. " 'Do not have sexual relations with your son's daughter or your daughter's daughter; that would dishonor you.
  1. 아무도 같은 핏줄을 타고 난 사람을 가까이하여 부끄러운 곳을 벗기면 안 된다. 나는 야훼이다.
  2. 네 아비의 부끄러운 곳도 어미의 부끄러운 곳도 벗기면 안 된다. 네 어미인데, 어찌 그 부끄러운 곳을 벗기겠느냐?
  3. 네 아비와 사는 여인의 부끄러운 곳을 벗겨도 안 된다. 그것은 곧 네 아비의 부끄러운 곳이다.
  4. 네 누이의 부끄러운 곳을 벗겨도 안 된다. 이복 누이든 동복 누이든, 와서 낳았든 낳아가지고 왔든, 그의 부끄러운 곳을 벗기면 안 된다.
  5. 친손녀나 외손녀의 부끄러운 곳을 벗겨도 안 된다. 그것은 곧 너 자신의 부끄러운 곳이다.
  1. " 'Do not have sexual relations with the daughter of your father's wife, born to your father; she is your sister.
  2. " 'Do not have sexual relations with your father's sister; she is your father's close relative.
  3. " 'Do not have sexual relations with your mother's sister, because she is your mother's close relative.
  4. " 'Do not dishonor your father's brother by approaching his wife to have sexual relations; she is your aunt.
  5. " 'Do not have sexual relations with your daughter-in-law. She is your son's wife; do not have relations with her.
  1. 네 아비를 모시는 여인에게서 난 딸의 부끄러운 곳을 벗겨도 안 된다.
  2. 네 고모의 부끄러운 곳을 벗겨도 안 된다. 그는 네 아비와 같은 핏줄이다.
  3. 네 이모의 부끄러운 곳을 벗겨도 안 된다. 그는 네 어미와 같은 핏줄이다.
  4. 네 삼촌의 아내를 가까이하여 삼촌의 부끄러운 곳을 벗겨도 안 된다. 그는 네 아주머니이다.
  5. 네 며느리의 부끄러운 곳을 벗겨도 안 된다. 그가 네 아들의 아내인데 어찌 그의 부끄러운 곳을 벗기겠느냐?
  1. " 'Do not have sexual relations with your brother's wife; that would dishonor your brother.
  2. " 'Do not have sexual relations with both a woman and her daughter. Do not have sexual relations with either her son's daughter or her daughter's daughter; they are her close relatives. That is wickedness.
  3. " 'Do not take your wife's sister as a rival wife and have sexual relations with her while your wife is living.
  4. " 'Do not approach a woman to have sexual relations during the uncleanness of her monthly period.
  5. " 'Do not have sexual relations with your neighbor's wife and defile yourself with her.
  1. 네 형제의 아내의 부끄러운 곳을 벗겨도 안 된다. 그것은 곧 네 형제의 부끄러운 곳이다.
  2. 아내가 데리고 들어온 딸의 부끄러운 곳을 벗겨도 안 된다. 그 여인의 친손녀도 외손녀도 데려다가 부끄러운 곳을 벗기면 안 된다. 그들은 그 여인과 한 핏줄이므로 그것은 더러운 짓이다.
  3. 네 아내가 살아 있는 동안에 그 형제를 첩으로 맞아 그 부끄러운 곳을 벗겨도 안 된다.

  1. " 'Do not give any of your children to be sacrificed to Molech, for you must not profane the name of your God. I am the LORD.
  2. " 'Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.
  3. " 'Do not have sexual relations with an animal and defile yourself with it. A woman must not present herself to an animal to have sexual relations with it; that is a perversion.
  4. " 'Do not defile yourselves in any of these ways, because this is how the nations that I am going to drive out before you became defiled.
  5. Even the land was defiled; so I punished it for its sin, and the land vomited out its inhabitants.
  1. 네 자식을 몰록에게 넘겨주어 너희 하느님의 이름을 욕되게 해서는 안 된다. 나는 야훼이다.
  2. 여자와 자듯이 남자와 한자리에 들어도 안 된다. 그것은 망측한 짓이다.
  3. 어떤 짐승하고도 교접을 하면 안 된다. 그 짐승에게서 너는 부정을 탄다. 여인도 짐승과 교접을 하면 안 된다. 그것은 추잡한 짓이다.
  4. 너희는 이런 행위 가운데서 어느 하나라도 저질러 부정을 타는 일이 없도록 하여라. 내가 너희 앞에서 쫓아낼 민족들은 이런 온갖 행위로 부정을 탄 것들이다.
  5. 그 땅도 부정을 탔기 때문에, 나는 그 죄악을 벌할 것이다. 그 땅은 거기에 사는 사람들을 토해 내리라.
  1. But you must keep my decrees and my laws. The native-born and the aliens living among you must not do any of these detestable things,
  2. for all these things were done by the people who lived in the land before you, and the land became defiled.
  3. And if you defile the land, it will vomit you out as it vomited out the nations that were before you.
  4. " 'Everyone who does any of these detestable things--such persons must be cut off from their people.
  5. Keep my requirements and do not follow any of the detestable customs that were practiced before you came and do not defile yourselves with them. I am the LORD your God.' "
  1. 그러나 너희는 내가 정해 주는 규정과 내가 세워주는 법을 지켜라. 본토인은 물론이요 너희 가운데 몸붙여 사는 사람도 그런 망측한 짓을 일절 저지르지 않도록 하여라.
  2. 너희보다 앞서 그 곳에 살던 사람들이 이런 온갖 망측한 짓을 다 하여 그 땅을 더럽혔던 것이다.
  3. 너희도 그 땅을 더럽히면, 너희보다 앞서 거기에 살던 민족을 토해 냈듯이 그 땅이 너희를 토해 내리라.
  4. 이런 망측한 짓들 가운데 어느 한 가지라도 저지른 사람은 그가 누구든지 간에 겨레로부터 추방당해야 한다.
  5. 그러므로 너희는 내가 지키라고 한 것을 잘 지키고 너희가 오기 전에 지켜졌던 망측한 규정들을 따라 스스로 자신을 더럽히는 일이 없도록 하여라. 나 야훼가 너희의 하느님이다.'"
