역대하 4:1-6:11

 성전에 비치할 여러 기구를 제조함으로써 성전 건축을 모두 마친 솔로몬은 다윗 성에 있던 언약궤를 새 성전으로 옮겨 안치하였다. 그리고 하나님께서 말씀하신 대로 성전을 건축하였음을 백성에게 선포하였다.
  
  성전 비품(4:1-4:22)    
 
  1. He made a bronze altar twenty cubits long, twenty cubits wide and ten cubits high.
  2. He made the Sea of cast metal, circular in shape, measuring ten cubits from rim to rim and five cubits high. It took a line of thirty cubits to measure around it.
  3. Below the rim, figures of bulls encircled it--ten to a cubit. The bulls were cast in two rows in one piece with the Sea.
  4. The Sea stood on twelve bulls, three facing north, three facing west, three facing south and three facing east. The Sea rested on top of them, and their hindquarters were toward the center.
  5. It was a handbreadth in thickness, and its rim was like the rim of a cup, like a lily blossom. It held three thousand baths.
  1. 솔로몬은 또 놋으로 제단을 만들었는데, 그 길이가 이십 척, 나비가 이십 척, 높이가 십 척이었다.
  2. 그 다음 그는 바다 모형을 둥글게 만들었다. 한 가장자리에서 다른 가장자리에까지 직경이 십 척, 높이는 오 척이었다. 줄로 그 둘레를 한 바퀴 돌리면, 삼십 척이 되었다.
  3. 이 둥근 통 밑에는 소 모양을 한 것들이 머리를 바깥으로 하고 빙 둘러서서 그 둘레가 삼십 척이 되는 바다를 떠받치고 서 있었다. 이 소들은 십(+)자로 서 있었는데, 바다 모형을 부어 만들 때 함께 부어 만든 것이었다.
  4. 바다는 이 열두 마리 소 등에 얹혀 있었는데, 세 마리는 북쪽을 바라보고 세 마리는 서쪽을 바라보고 세 마리는 남쪽을 바라보고 세 마리는 동쪽을 바라보고 서 있었다. 이 소들은 모두 궁둥이를 안쪽으로 하고 등으로 바다를 떠받치고 있었다.
  5. 바다 가장자리의 두께는 한 뼘 나비였다. 그 가장자리는 잔의 가장자리와 비슷하게 꽃무늬를 새겨놓았다. 그리고 그 바다 모형에는 물을 삼천 말 담을 수 있었다.
  1. He then made ten basins for washing and placed five on the south side and five on the north. In them the things to be used for the burnt offerings were rinsed, but the Sea was to be used by the priests for washing.
  2. He made ten gold lampstands according to the specifications for them and placed them in the temple, five on the south side and five on the north.
  3. He made ten tables and placed them in the temple, five on the south side and five on the north. He also made a hundred gold sprinkling bowls.
  4. He made the courtyard of the priests, and the large court and the doors for the court, and overlaid the doors with bronze.
  5. He placed the Sea on the south side, at the southeast corner.
  1. 대야는 얹는 대 열 개를 만들어 다섯은 오른쪽에 두고 다섯은 왼쪽에 두어 번제물을 씻는 데 쓸 물을 담아두었다. 바다에 담긴 물은 사제들이 씻을 물이었다.
  2. 금으로 등경 열 개를 규격대로 만들어, 다섯 개는 본관 안 오른쪽에 놓고 다섯 개는 왼쪽에 놓았다.
  3. 또 제사 상 열 개를 만들어 본관 안 오른쪽에 다섯 개, 왼쪽에 다섯 개를 두었다. 또 피 뿌리는 쟁반 백 개를 금으로 만들었다.
  4. 그는 또 사제만이 들어가는 뜰과 큰 뜰을 만들었다. 이 큰 뜰의 대문에는 문짝 둘을 만들어 달고 놋쇠를 입혔다.
  5. 바다는 성전 오른편 동남쪽에 놓여 있었다.
  1. He also made the pots and shovels and sprinkling bowls. So Huram finished the work he had undertaken for King Solomon in the temple of God:
  2. the two pillars; the two bowl-shaped capitals on top of the pillars; the two sets of network decorating the two bowl-shaped capitals on top of the pillars;
  3. the four hundred pomegranates for the two sets of network (two rows of pomegranates for each network, decorating the bowl-shaped capitals on top of the pillars
  4. the stands with their basins;
  5. the Sea and the twelve bulls under it;
  1. 후람이 재받이와 부삽과 피 뿌리는 쟁반들을 만드니, 이로써 솔로몬 왕이 하느님 전에 해놓으라고 시킨 모든 일을 다 마친 것이다. 그 물건은 이런 것이었다.
  2. 기둥 두 개와 그 두 기둥 위에 꽃관 같은 둥근 장식과 이 두 기둥 위에 있는 꽃관 같은 둥근 장식 두 개에 씌울 그물 둘,
  3. 이 두 그물에 두 줄로 달린 석류 사백 개,
  4. 대야 열 개와 그 받침대 열 개,
  5. 바다 하나와 그를 떠받치는 소 열두 마리,
  1. the pots, shovels, meat forks and all related articles. All the objects that Huram-Abi made for King Solomon for the temple of the LORD were of polished bronze.
  2. The king had them cast in clay molds in the plain of the Jordan between Succoth and Zarethan.
  3. All these things that Solomon made amounted to so much that the weight of the bronze was not determined.
  4. Solomon also made all the furnishings that were in God's temple: the golden altar; the tables on which was the bread of the Presence;
  5. the lampstands of pure gold with their lamps, to burn in front of the inner sanctuary as prescribed;
  1. 재받이와 부삽과 집게였다. 후람 선생은 야훼의 성전에서 쓸 이 모든 기구를 놋쇠로 만들고 닦아서 솔로몬 왕에게 바쳤다.
  2. 왕은 이 기구들을 수꼿과 스레다 사이에 있는 요르단 강 분지 흙바닥에서 부어 만들게 하였다.
  3. 솔로몬이 만든 이 모든 기구들이 어찌나 많았던지 놋쇠의 무게는 이루 다 달아볼 수조차 없었다.
  4. 솔로몬이 하느님 성전에 두려고 만든 기구들은 이런 것이었다. 금제단과 빵을 차려놓을 제사 상들과
  5. 지성소 앞에 규정대로 켜놓을 순금 등잔들과 등경들,
  1. the gold floral work and lamps and tongs (they were solid gold
  2. the pure gold wick trimmers, sprinkling bowls, dishes and censers; and the gold doors of the temple: the inner doors to the Most Holy Place and the doors of the main hall.
  1. 순금으로 만든 꽃장식과 등잔과 부집게,
  2. 순금으로 만든 칼들과 피 뿌리는 쟁반과 종지들과 향로들, 그리고 성전 문, 곧 금으로 만든 안쪽 지성소 두 문짝과 본관 두 문짝이었다.
 
  언약궤 안치(5:1-5:14)    
 
  1. When all the work Solomon had done for the temple of the LORD was finished, he brought in the things his father David had dedicated--the silver and gold and all the furnishings--and he placed them in the treasuries of God's temple.
  2. Then Solomon summoned to Jerusalem the elders of Israel, all the heads of the tribes and the chiefs of the Israelite families, to bring up the ark of the LORD's covenant from Zion, the City of David.
  3. And all the men of Israel came together to the king at the time of the festival in the seventh month.
  4. When all the elders of Israel had arrived, the Levites took up the ark,
  5. and they brought up the ark and the Tent of Meeting and all the sacred furnishings in it. The priests, who were Levites, carried them up;
  1. 솔로몬은 이렇게 야훼의 성전을 위하여 할 일을 모두 마치고 선왕 다윗이 거룩하게 바친 금은과 그 밖의 모든 기구를 가져다가 하느님의 성전 보물 창고에 두었다.
  2. 한편 솔로몬은 야훼의 계약궤를 시온이라고도 하는 다윗 성에서 모셔 오려고 이스라엘의 장로들과 이스라엘 백성 각 가문의 대표인 각 지파의 어른들을 모두 예루살렘에 불러모았다.
  3. 이스라엘 사람들은 칠월 축제를 지키려고 모두 어전에 모여왔다.
  4. 이스라엘 장로들이 다 모이자 레위 사람들이 궤를 메어 옮겼다.
  5. 그들은 궤와 만남의 장막과 그 안에 있던 성소의 각종 기물들을 날랐다. 이 모든 것을 레위인 사제들이 날랐다.
  1. and King Solomon and the entire assembly of Israel that had gathered about him were before the ark, sacrificing so many sheep and cattle that they could not be recorded or counted.
  2. The priests then brought the ark of the LORD's covenant to its place in the inner sanctuary of the temple, the Most Holy Place, and put it beneath the wings of the cherubim.
  3. The cherubim spread their wings over the place of the ark and covered the ark and its carrying poles.
  4. These poles were so long that their ends, extending from the ark, could be seen from in front of the inner sanctuary, but not from outside the Holy Place; and they are still there today.
  5. There was nothing in the ark except the two tablets that Moses had placed in it at Horeb, where the LORD made a covenant with the Israelites after they came out of Egypt.
  1. 솔로몬 왕은 자기에게 모여온 이스라엘 회중을 이끌고, 궤 앞에 헤아릴 수 없이 많은 양과 소를 제물로 잡아 바쳤다.
  2. 그리고 나서 사제들은 야훼의 계약궤를 성전 밀실 안 지성소로 모셔다가 거룹들 날개 아래 안치하였다.
  3. 거룹들은 그 궤를 모신 자리 위에 날개를 펼쳐서 궤와 채들을 덮었다.
  4. 그 채는 끝이 밀실 앞 성소에서 보일 정도로 길었다. 그러나 성소 밖에서는 보이지 않았다. 그 채들은 오늘까지 거기에 남아 있다.
  5. 궤 안에는 호렙에서 모세가 넣어둔 두 돌판, 곧 이스라엘 백성이 이집트에서 나올 때 야훼께서 백성과 맺으신 계약을 새긴 돌판 외에는 아무것도 없었다.
  1. The priests then withdrew from the Holy Place. All the priests who were there had consecrated themselves, regardless of their divisions.
  2. All the Levites who were musicians--Asaph, Heman, Jeduthun and their sons and relatives--stood on the east side of the altar, dressed in fine linen and playing cymbals, harps and lyres. They were accompanied by 120 priests sounding trumpets.
  3. The trumpeters and singers joined in unison, as with one voice, to give praise and thanks to the LORD. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals and other instruments, they raised their voices in praise to the LORD and sang: "He is good; his love endures forever." Then the temple of the LORD was filled with a cloud,
  4. and the priests could not perform their service because of the cloud, for the glory of the LORD filled the temple of God.
  1. 사제들이 성소에서 나올 때, 아삽과 헤만과 여두둔이 그 아들들과 형제들을 모두 거느리고 레위 성가대원으로서 모시옷을 입고 바라와 칠현금과 거문고를 들고 제단 동쪽에 늘어섰고, 이들과 함께 백이십 명의 사제들이 나팔을 입에 대고 불었다. 거기에 참석한 사제들은 순번을 가리지 않고 전원이 목욕재계를 했던 것이다.
  3. 이들은 다 같이 나팔을 불고 노래를 불렀다. 야훼를 찬양하고 감사를 드리는 그 소리가 한 소리처럼 들렸다. 나팔과 바라와 그 밖의 악기에 맞추어, "야훼 어지셔라, 그 사랑 영원하여라." 소리 높여 찬양하는데, 야훼의 성전에는 구름이 가득 찼다.
  4. 구름이 어찌나 짙었던지 사제들이 더 이상 예식을 계속할 수 없을 정도였다. 그만큼 야훼의 영광이 성전에 가득 찼던 것이다.
 
  솔로몬의 성전 낙성 보고(6:1-6:11)    
 
  1. Then Solomon said, "The LORD has said that he would dwell in a dark cloud;
  2. I have built a magnificent temple for you, a place for you to dwell forever."
  3. While the whole assembly of Israel was standing there, the king turned around and blessed them.
  4. Then he said: "Praise be to the LORD, the God of Israel, who with his hands has fulfilled what he promised with his mouth to my father David. For he said,
  5. 'Since the day I brought my people out of Egypt, I have not chosen a city in any tribe of Israel to have a temple built for my Name to be there, nor have I chosen anyone to be the leader over my people Israel.
  1. 그런 가운데 솔로몬이 입을 열었다. "야훼께서는 몸소 캄캄한 데 계시겠다고 하셨습니다.
  2. 영원히 여기에 사시옵소서. 제가 주님을 위하여 이 전을 세웠습니다."
  3. 그리고 나서 왕은 모여 서 있는 이스라엘 온 회중 쪽으로 얼굴을 돌리고 복을 빌어주었다.
  4. 그는 말하였다. "이스라엘의 하느님 야훼께서 선왕 다윗에게 약속하신 말씀을 모두 그대로 이루어주셨으니, 그를 찬양하여라. 주께서는 이렇게 말씀하셨다.
  5. '나는 내 백성을 이집트 땅에서 데려내온 이래, 내 이름을 둘 집을 지을 곳으로 이스라엘 어느 지파의 성읍을 뽑지 않았고 내 백성 이스라엘을 다스릴 영도자를 다른 어느 지파에서 뽑지 않았으며,
  1. But now I have chosen Jerusalem for my Name to be there, and I have chosen David to rule my people Israel.'
  2. "My father David had it in his heart to build a temple for the Name of the LORD, the God of Israel.
  3. But the LORD said to my father David, 'Because it was in your heart to build a temple for my Name, you did well to have this in your heart.
  4. Nevertheless, you are not the one to build the temple, but your son, who is your own flesh and blood--he is the one who will build the temple for my Name.'
  5. "The LORD has kept the promise he made. I have succeeded David my father and now I sit on the throne of Israel, just as the LORD promised, and I have built the temple for the Name of the LORD, the God of Israel.
  1. 내 이름을 둘 곳으로 예루살렘을 뽑았고 내 백성 이스라엘을 거느릴 사람으로 너 다윗을 뽑았다.'
  2. 이 말씀을 듣고 선왕 다윗께서는 이스라엘의 하느님 야훼의 이름을 위하여 성전을 지을 마음을 품게 되셨다.
  3. 그러나 야훼께서는 선왕 다윗에게 말씀하셨다. '네가 내 이름을 위하여 집을 짓겠다고 생각하는 것은 기특한 일이나,
  4. 너는 나의 집을 짓지 못한다. 너에게서 태어날 너의 아들이 내 이름을 위하여 집을 지을 것이다.'
  5. 이제 그 약속을 야훼께서는 이렇게 이루어주셨다. 나는 야훼께서 약속해 주신 대로 선왕 다윗의 뒤를 이어 이스라엘의 왕위에 올랐고 이스라엘의 하느님 야훼의 이름을 위하여 이렇게 성전을 지었다.
  1. There I have placed the ark, in which is the covenant of the LORD that he made with the people of Israel."
  1. 그리고 야훼께서 이스라엘 백성과 맺어주신 계약의 궤를 여기에 모셨다."
