역대하 35:1-36:23

 요시야는 이스라엘 백성에게 유월절을 지키게 하였으나, 하나님의 입에서 나온 애굽 왕 느고의 말을 듣지 않고 애굽과 싸우다가 므깃도 전투에서 죽임을 당하였다. 그 후 그의 아들 여호아하스가 왕위에 올랐으나 애굽의 포로가 되었고, 뒤이어 왕위에 오른 여호야김과 여호야긴도 바벨론의 포로가 되었다. 그리고 하나님 보시기에 악을 행한 시드기야로 인해 결국 유다는 멸망하였다.
  
  유월절 준수(35:1-35:27)    
 
  1. Josiah celebrated the Passover to the LORD in Jerusalem, and the Passover lamb was slaughtered on the fourteenth day of the first month.
  2. He appointed the priests to their duties and encouraged them in the service of the LORD's temple.
  3. He said to the Levites, who instructed all Israel and who had been consecrated to the LORD : "Put the sacred ark in the temple that Solomon son of David king of Israel built. It is not to be carried about on your shoulders. Now serve the LORD your God and his people Israel.
  4. Prepare yourselves by families in your divisions, according to the directions written by David king of Israel and by his son Solomon.
  5. "Stand in the holy place with a group of Levites for each subdivision of the families of your fellow countrymen, the lay people.
  1. 요시야는 예루살렘에서 야훼를 기리어 과월절을 지켰다. 과월절 제물을 잡은 것은 정월 십사일이었다.
  2. 그는 사제들에게 일을 나누어 맡기고 야훼의 성전 예배를 담당하여 올리도록 격려해 주었다.

  1. Slaughter the Passover lambs, consecrate yourselves and prepare the lambs for your fellow countrymen, doing what the LORD commanded through Moses."
  2. Josiah provided for all the lay people who were there a total of thirty thousand sheep and goats for the Passover offerings, and also three thousand cattle--all from the king's own possessions.
  3. His officials also contributed voluntarily to the people and the priests and Levites. Hilkiah, Zechariah and Jehiel, the administrators of God's temple, gave the priests twenty-six hundred Passover offerings and three hundred cattle.
  4. Also Conaniah along with Shemaiah and Nethanel, his brothers, and Hashabiah, Jeiel and Jozabad, the leaders of the Levites, provided five thousand Passover offerings and five hundred head of cattle for the Levites.
  5. The service was arranged and the priests stood in their places with the Levites in their divisions as the king had ordered.
  1. 그리고는 과월절 제물을 잡아 몸을 거룩하게 하여라. 또 야훼께서 모세를 시켜 내리신 말씀대로 동족들에게 해줄 준비를 갖추어라."
  2. 그런 다음 요시야는 백성에게 돌아갈 과월절 제물로 양떼 가운데서 어린 숫양과 새끼 염소 삼만 마리와 황소 삼천 마리를 내놓았다. 이것은 왕의 개인 재산에서 내놓은 것이었다.

  1. The Passover lambs were slaughtered, and the priests sprinkled the blood handed to them, while the Levites skinned the animals.
  2. They set aside the burnt offerings to give them to the subdivisions of the families of the people to offer to the LORD, as is written in the Book of Moses. They did the same with the cattle.
  3. They roasted the Passover animals over the fire as prescribed, and boiled the holy offerings in pots, caldrons and pans and served them quickly to all the people.
  4. After this, they made preparations for themselves and for the priests, because the priests, the descendants of Aaron, were sacrificing the burnt offerings and the fat portions until nightfall. So the Levites made preparations for themselves and for the Aaronic priests.
  5. The musicians, the descendants of Asaph, were in the places prescribed by David, Asaph, Heman and Jeduthun the king's seer. The gatekeepers at each gate did not need to leave their posts, because their fellow Levites made the preparations for them.
  1. 과월절 제물을 잡았다. 사제들은 그 피를 받아 뿌렸고 레위인들은 가죽을 벗기고
  2. 살라 바칠 기름기를 떼내어 일반 백성의 가문의 각 갈래에 주어 모세의 책에 기록되어 있는 대로 야훼께 바치게 하였다. 소도 그렇게 하였다.

  4. 그런 다음에야 자기들의 몫과 아론 후손 사제들의 몫을 장만하였다. 아론 후손 사제들은 밤늦게까지 기름기를 살라 바치기에 겨를이 없었으므로 레위인들은 자기들 몫과 아론 후손 사제들의 몫을 장만해야 했던 것이다.
  5. 또 다윗의 지시와 아삽, 헤만, 왕의 선견자 여두둔의 지시를 따라 지정된 자리에 서 있는 아삽 후손 성가대원들과 각 문을 지키는 문지기들의 몫도 한 집안인 레위인들이 마련해 주었으므로 자리를 뜨지 않고 맡은 일을 할 수 있었다.
  1. So at that time the entire service of the LORD was carried out for the celebration of the Passover and the offering of burnt offerings on the altar of the LORD, as King Josiah had ordered.
  2. The Israelites who were present celebrated the Passover at that time and observed the Feast of Unleavened Bread for seven days.
  3. The Passover had not been observed like this in Israel since the days of the prophet Samuel; and none of the kings of Israel had ever celebrated such a Passover as did Josiah, with the priests, the Levites and all Judah and Israel who were there with the people of Jerusalem.
  4. This Passover was celebrated in the eighteenth year of Josiah's reign.
  5. After all this, when Josiah had set the temple in order, Neco king of Egypt went up to fight at Carchemish on the Euphrates, and Josiah marched out to meet him in battle.
  1. 모든 일이 준비되어 그 날 야훼께 예배를 올릴 수 있었다. 요시야 왕의 명령을 따라 과월절 제물을 잡고 야훼의 제단에 번제물을 살라 바쳤다.
  2. 거기에 있던 이스라엘 백성은 그 때에 과월절을 지키고 칠 일간 무교절을 지켰다.

  5. 요시야가 이렇게 성전을 바로잡은 다음이었다. 이집트 왕 느고가 유프라테스 강 가 가르그미스 전투에 참가하려고 출병하였다. 그를 막으려고 요시야가 출동하자
  1. But Neco sent messengers to him, saying, "What quarrel is there between you and me, O king of Judah? It is not you I am attacking at this time, but the house with which I am at war. God has told me to hurry; so stop opposing God, who is with me, or he will destroy you."
  2. Josiah, however, would not turn away from him, but disguised himself to engage him in battle. He would not listen to what Neco had said at God's command but went to fight him on the plain of Megiddo.
  3. Archers shot King Josiah, and he told his officers, "Take me away; I am badly wounded."
  4. So they took him out of his chariot, put him in the other chariot he had and brought him to Jerusalem, where he died. He was buried in the tombs of his fathers, and all Judah and Jerusalem mourned for him.
  5. Jeremiah composed laments for Josiah, and to this day all the men and women singers commemorate Josiah in the laments. These became a tradition in Israel and are written in the Laments.
  1. 느고는 사절을 보내어 말을 전하였다. "유다 왕이여, 당신이 나와 무슨 관계가 있소? 나는 오늘 당신을 치러 온 것이 아니고 나와 싸움이 벌어진 왕실을 치러 가는 것이오. '어서 가라.'는 신의 명령을 받고 가는 길이오. 나와 함께 하시는 신의 손에 멸망하지 않으려거든 길을 막지 마시오."
  2. 그러나 요시야는 길을 비켜주기는커녕 도리어 변장하고 싸우려고 하였다. 느고의 말은 친히 하느님께서 하신 말씀이었는데 그 말을 듣지 않고 므기또 골짜기로 진군하다가
  3. 요시야 왕은 적의 궁수들이 쏜 화살에 맞았다. 왕은 부하들에게 명하였다. "나를 여기에서 빼내어라. 내가 크게 다쳤다."
  4. 왕은 부하들의 부축을 받아 병거에서 내려 부사령관 병거를 타고 예루살렘으로 돌아와 숨을 거두었다. 그는 온 유다와 예루살렘이 슬퍼하는 가운데 선조의 묘지에 안장되었다.
  5. 예레미야는 요시야의 서거를 애도하는 조가를 지었고 남녀 성가대원들은 요시야의 서거를 기념할 때마다 그 조가를 불렀다. 오늘까지 그 노래를 부르는 것이 관례가 되어 있다. 그것은 조가집에 기록되어 있다.

  3. The king of Egypt dethroned him in Jerusalem and imposed on Judah a levy of a hundred talents of silver and a talent of gold.
  4. The king of Egypt made Eliakim, a brother of Jehoahaz, king over Judah and Jerusalem and changed Eliakim's name to Jehoiakim. But Neco took Eliakim's brother Jehoahaz and carried him off to Egypt.
  5. Jehoiakim was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem eleven years. He did evil in the eyes of the LORD his God.
  1. 지방민들은 요시야의 아들 여호아하즈를 뽑아 예루살렘에서 왕으로 모시어 부왕의 뒤를 잇게 하였다.
  2. 그는 이십삼 세에 왕위에 올라 예루살렘에서 삼 개월간 다스렸다.

  4. Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem three months and ten days. He did evil in the eyes of the LORD.
  5. In the spring, King Nebuchadnezzar sent for him and brought him to Babylon, together with articles of value from the temple of the LORD, and he made Jehoiachin's uncle, Zedekiah, king over Judah and Jerusalem.
  1. 바빌론 왕 느부갓네살이 쳐들어와서 그를 놋사슬로 묶어 바빌론으로 끌고 갔다.
  2. 느부갓네살은 야훼의 성전 그릇도 더러 바빌론으로 빼앗아 가서 바빌론에 있는 자기의 궁궐에 두었다.
  3. 여호야킴이 얼마나 역겨운 일을 했고 그 때문에 어떤 일을 당했는지, 그의 나머지 역사는 이스라엘과 유다의 왕조실록에 기록되어 있다. 그의 아들 여호야긴이 그의 뒤를 이어 왕위에 올랐다.

  3. He also rebelled against King Nebuchadnezzar, who had made him take an oath in God's name. He became stiff-necked and hardened his heart and would not turn to the LORD, the God of Israel.
  4. Furthermore, all the leaders of the priests and the people became more and more unfaithful, following all the detestable practices of the nations and defiling the temple of the LORD, which he had consecrated in Jerusalem.
  5. The LORD, the God of their fathers, sent word to them through his messengers again and again, because he had pity on his people and on his dwelling place.
  1. 시드키야는 이십일 세에 왕위에 올라 이스라엘에서 십일 년간 다스렸다.

  1. But they mocked God's messengers, despised his words and scoffed at his prophets until the wrath of the LORD was aroused against his people and there was no remedy.
  2. He brought up against them the king of the Babylonians, who killed their young men with the sword in the sanctuary, and spared neither young man nor young woman, old man or aged. God handed all of them over to Nebuchadnezzar.
  3. He carried to Babylon all the articles from the temple of God, both large and small, and the treasures of the LORD's temple and the treasures of the king and his officials.
  4. They set fire to God's temple and broke down the wall of Jerusalem; they burned all the palaces and destroyed everything of value there.
  5. He carried into exile to Babylon the remnant, who escaped from the sword, and they became servants to him and his sons until the kingdom of Persia came to power.
  1. 그러나 사람들은 하느님의 특사들을 조롱하였다. 그의 말이면 무조건 비웃었다. 보내신 예언자들을 놀림감으로 삼았다. 그러다가 마침내 야훼로 하여금 돌이킬 수 없는 분노를 터뜨리시게 하고 말았다.
  2. 그래서 야훼께서 바빌론 왕을 끌어들이시니, 바빌론 왕은 성소에서 장정들을 칼로 쳐죽였다. 그는 장정, 처녀, 늙은이, 약자 할 것 없이 모조리 쳐죽였다. 하느님께서 모든 사람을 그의 손에 부치셨던 것이다.
  3. 그는 하느님의 성전 그릇들을 크건 작건 간에 모두 쓸어가고 야훼의 성전 창고와 왕궁 창고를 털어갔으며 대신들도 바빌론으로 모두 붙잡아 갔다.
  4. 하느님의 성전을 불살랐고 예루살렘 성을 허물었으며 궁궐들을 불살라 버리고 거기에 있던 값진 것을 모조리 부수어버렸다.
  5. 느부갓네살은 칼에 맞아 죽지 않고 살아 남은 자들을 바빌론으로 붙잡아다가 페르시아 시대가 되기까지 대대로 종으로 부렸다.
  1. The land enjoyed its sabbath rests; all the time of its desolation it rested, until the seventy years were completed in fulfillment of the word of the LORD spoken by Jeremiah.
  2. In the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, in order to fulfill the word of the LORD spoken by Jeremiah, the LORD moved the heart of Cyrus king of Persia to make a proclamation throughout his realm and to put it in writing:
  3. "This is what Cyrus king of Persia says: " 'The LORD, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth and he has appointed me to build a temple for him at Jerusalem in Judah. Anyone of his people among you--may the LORD his God be with him, and let him go up.' "
  1. 이리하여 이 땅은 긴 세월 동안 황폐되어, 밀렸던 안식을 다 찾아 누리며 칠십 년을 채우리라고, 야훼께서 예레미야를 시켜 하신 말씀이 그대로 이루어졌다.
  2. 페르시아 황제 고레스 제일년이었다. 야훼께서는 일찍이 예레미야를 시켜 하신 말씀을 이루시려고 페르시아 황제 고레스의 마음을 움직이셨다. 그래서 고레스는 아래와 같은 칙령을 내리고 그것을 적은 칙서를 전국에 돌렸다.
  3. "페르시아 황제 고레스의 칙령이다. 하늘을 내신 하느님 야훼께서는 세상 모든 나라를 나에게 맡기셨다. 그리고 유다 나라 예루살렘에 당신의 성전을 지을 임무를 나에게 지워주셨다. 그 하느님 야훼께서 너희 가운데 있는 당신의 모든 백성과 함께 하시기를 빈다. 누구든지 원하는 자는 돌아가라."
