에스겔 22:23-23:49

 하나님께서는 지도자들을 위시한 온 유다 백성들의 죄악상을 지적하셨다. 그리고 북왕국 이스라엘을 ‘오홀라’로, 남왕국 유다를 ‘오홀리바’라는 이름을 가진 자매로 비유하심으로, 애굽과 앗수르와 바벨론의 우상을 숭배한 죄를 지적하시고 그 대가로 그들이 사모하던 강대국에 의해 철저하게 더럽혀지고 유린당할 것이라고 예고하셨다.
  
  모든 사람의 방종(22:23-22:31)    
 
  1. Again the word of the LORD came to me:
  2. "Son of man, say to the land, 'You are a land that has had no rain or showers in the day of wrath.'
  3. There is a conspiracy of her princes within her like a roaring lion tearing its prey; they devour people, take treasures and precious things and make many widows within her.
  4. Her priests do violence to my law and profane my holy things; they do not distinguish between the holy and the common; they teach that there is no difference between the unclean and the clean; and they shut their eyes to the keeping of my Sabbaths, so that I am profaned among them.
  5. Her officials within her are like wolves tearing their prey; they shed blood and kill people to make unjust gain.
  1. 야훼께서 나에게 이런 말씀을 내리셨다.
  2. "너 사람아, 예루살렘에 이렇게 일러라. '예루살렘아, 너는 비가 오지 않는 땅이 되리라. 내가 분노를 퍼붓는 날, 소나기 한 번 오지 않으리라.
  3. 네 안에서 수령이라는 자들은 짐승을 잡아 물고 으르렁거리는 사자처럼 백성에게서 재물과 패물을 빼앗고, 사람들을 집어삼키는구나. 그리하여 네 안에는 과부만 늘어가는구나.
  4. 이 성읍 안의 사제들은 나의 법을 짓밟고 거룩한 나의 소유물을 소중하게 여기지 아니한다. 거룩한 것과 속된 것을 분별하지 않고 부정한 것과 정한 것을 가리는 법을 가르치지 않으며 나에게 바쳐진 안식일도 무시한다. 내가 이렇게 네 안에서 욕을 보고 있다.
  5. 이 성읍 안에서 고관들은 짐승을 잡아 찢는 늑대 같아, 죄없는 피를 흘려 사람들을 죽이며 남의 재산을 털어 먹고 있다.
  1. Her prophets whitewash these deeds for them by false visions and lying divinations. They say, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says'-when the LORD has not spoken.
  2. The people of the land practice extortion and commit robbery; they oppress the poor and needy and mistreat the alien, denying them justice.
  3. "I looked for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found none.
  4. So I will pour out my wrath on them and consume them with my fiery anger, bringing down on their own heads all they have done, declares the Sovereign LORD."
  1. 이 성읍 안의 예언자라는 무리들은 겉치레만 장식하고 허황한 환상이나 보며 맞지도 않는 점을 치고 있다. 나는 꺼내지도 않은 말을 주 야훼께서 말씀하시더라고 하며 지껄이고 있다.
  2. 지주라는 것들은 깡패나 강도떼가 되어 비천하고 가난한 자들을 괴롭히고 떠돌아다니는 머슴들을 이유도 없이 학대한다.
  3. 행여나 이 가운데 이 나라를 위하는 사람이 있어, 담을 고치고 틈을 막으며 이 나라를 멸망시키려는 나의 앞을 막아서는 자라도 있는가 찾아보았지만 그런 사람도 없었다.
  4. 그러므로 이제 나는 나의 분노를 퍼부으리라. 진노하여 모든 것을 태워버리리라. 그 소행대로 벌을 내리지 않을 수 없다. 주 야훼가 하는 말이다.'"
 
  오홀라와 오홀리바의 비유(23:1-23:49)    
 
  1. The word of the LORD came to me:
  2. "Son of man, there were two women, daughters of the same mother.
  3. They became prostitutes in Egypt, engaging in prostitution from their youth. In that land their breasts were fondled and their virgin bosoms caressed.
  4. The older was named Oholah, and her sister was Oholibah. They were mine and gave birth to sons and daughters. Oholah is Samaria, and Oholibah is Jerusalem.
  5. "Oholah engaged in prostitution while she was still mine; and she lusted after her lovers, the Assyrians-warriors
  1. 야훼께서 나에게 이런 말씀을 내리셨다.
  2. "너 사람아, 예전에 두 여인이 있었다. 그들은 한 어미의 딸이었다.
  3. 그들은 이집트에 있을 적에 이미 놀아났었다. 소녀 적부터 놀아났었다. 거기에서 사내들에게 으스러지게 껴안겨 남자를 모르던 그 젖가슴이 짓눌렸었다.
  4. 언니의 이름은 오홀라요, 아우의 이름은 오홀리바였다. 그들은 내 사람이 되어 아들딸들을 낳았다. 오홀라라는 이름은 사마리아를 말하고 오홀리바는 예루살렘을 말한다.
  5. 오홀라는 내 그늘에서 살면서도 외간남자들과 놀아났다. 아시리아인들과 사랑에 빠져 몸이 달아올랐다.
  1. clothed in blue, governors and commanders, all of them handsome young men, and mounted horsemen.
  2. She gave herself as a prostitute to all the elite of the Assyrians and defiled herself with all the idols of everyone she lusted after.
  3. She did not give up the prostitution she began in Egypt, when during her youth men slept with her, caressed her virgin bosom and poured out their lust upon her.
  4. "Therefore I handed her over to her lovers, the Assyrians, for whom she lusted.
  5. They stripped her naked, took away her sons and daughters and killed her with the sword. She became a byword among women, and punishment was inflicted on her.
  1. 자줏빛 옷을 입은 장성들, 총독들, 지방영주들, 모두 말 잘 타는 멋진 젊은이들이었다.
  2. 오홀라는 아시리아인들 가운데서도 뛰어난 그들과 놀아났다. 그들의 온갖 우상에 반하여 온통 몸을 더럽혔다.
  3. 오홀라는 이집트에 있을 적부터 바람을 피우더니 그 버릇을 버리지 않았다. 거기에서 오홀라는 소녀의 몸으로 남자들과 자리를 같이하였고 남자를 모르던 그 젖가슴이 짓눌려 몸은 여지없이 더러워졌다.
  4. 그래서 나는 그를 그의 정부의 손에 넘겼다. 몸이 달아 열을 올리던 아시리아인들의 손에 넘겼다.
  5. 그들은 오홀라를 발가벗겨 죽이고 그의 아들딸들은 잡아갔다. 그는 이렇게 벌을 받아 여인들의 입에 오르내리게 되었다.
  1. "Her sister Oholibah saw this, yet in her lust and prostitution she was more depraved than her sister.
  2. She too lusted after the Assyrians--governors and commanders, warriors in full dress, mounted horsemen, all handsome young men.
  3. I saw that she too defiled herself; both of them went the same way.
  4. "But she carried her prostitution still further. She saw men portrayed on a wall, figures of Chaldeans portrayed in red,
  5. with belts around their waists and flowing turbans on their heads; all of them looked like Babylonian chariot officers, natives of Chaldea.
  1. 그런데 아우 오홀리바는 이 모든 것을 보고서도 자기 언니보다 더 몸이 달아 다른 남자들과 놀아났다.
  2. 오홀리바는 아시리아의 총독들, 지방영주들, 장군들과 열을 올렸다. 그들은 모두 멋진 젊은 사내들, 말 잘 타는 기사들이었다.
  3. 내 눈에 그는 더러워질 대로 더러워져서 그 언니에 그 동생이었다.
  4. 오홀리바는 점점 더 심하게 놀아났다. 심지어 벽에다가 바빌론 사내의 모양을 새기고는 붉은 물감으로 칠해 놓고 쳐다보았다.
  5. 허리에 띠를 띠고 머리에 수건을 칭칭 감아 늘어뜨린 기사들, 바빌론 토박이들의 모습을 쳐다보았다.
  1. As soon as she saw them, she lusted after them and sent messengers to them in Chaldea.
  2. Then the Babylonians came to her, to the bed of love, and in their lust they defiled her. After she had been defiled by them, she turned away from them in disgust.
  3. When she carried on her prostitution openly and exposed her nakedness, I turned away from her in disgust, just as I had turned away from her sister.
  4. Yet she became more and more promiscuous as she recalled the days of her youth, when she was a prostitute in Egypt.
  5. There she lusted after her lovers, whose genitals were like those of donkeys and whose emission was like that of horses.
  1. 그 모습을 보기만 하고도 몸이 달아올라 바빌론으로 사자들을 보내어
  2. 사내들을 불러다가 한자리에 들었다. 그 사내들의 애무를 받으며 그는 자기의 몸을 더럽혔다. 일단 몸을 더럽히고 나서는 그들에게 더 이상 정을 주지 않았다.
  3. 이렇게 알몸을 드러내고 뻔뻔스럽게 놀아나는 것을 보고, 나는 그 언니에게서 정이 떨어지듯 동생에게서도 정이 떨어졌다.
  4. 오홀리바는 이렇듯이 놀아나면 놀아날수록 이집트에서 소녀의 몸으로 놀아났던 그 시절이 그리워졌다.
  5. 물건이 나귀의 그것만큼 크고 정액을 말처럼 쏟는 이집트의 정부들과 열을 올리던 일을 잊지 못하였다.
  1. So you longed for the lewdness of your youth, when in Egypt your bosom was caressed and your young breasts fondled.
  2. "Therefore, Oholibah, this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will stir up your lovers against you, those you turned away from in disgust, and I will bring them against you from every side-
  3. the Babylonians and all the Chaldeans, the men of Pekod and Shoa and Koa, and all the Assyrians with them, handsome young men, all of them governors and commanders, chariot officers and men of high rank, all mounted on horses.
  4. They will come against you with weapons, chariots and wagons and with a throng of people; they will take up positions against you on every side with large and small shields and with helmets. I will turn you over to them for punishment, and they will punish you according to their standards.
  5. I will direct my jealous anger against you, and they will deal with you in fury. They will cut off your noses and your ears, and those of you who are left will fall by the sword. They will take away your sons and daughters, and those of you who are left will be consumed by fire.
  1. 이집트에서 소녀의 몸으로 젖가슴을 짓눌리고 가슴이 으스러지게 안기던 그 젊은 시절을 못 잊어 애태웠다.
  2. 오홀리바야, 주 야훼가 말한다. '나 이제 네가 정을 뗀 너의 정부들을 부추겨 너에게 달려들게 하리라. 사방에서 데려다가 너에게 달려들게 하리라.
  3. 바빌론 시민뿐 아니라 브콧, 소아, 코아 등 온 바빌론 백성과 온 아시리아인들을 데려올 터인데 그들은 모두 말탄 멋진 젊은이들, 총독이 아니면 지방영주들, 장군이 아니면 부관들이다.
  4. 그들은 북쪽에서 병거와 수레를 몰며 대군을 거느리고 너에게 쳐들어올 것이다. 크고 작은 방패를 들고 투구를 쓰고 사방에서 쳐들어올 것이다. 나는 그들에게 재판권을 주었다. 그들은 그들의 법을 따라 너희를 다스릴 것이다.
  5. 나는 너를 괘씸하게 여겨 그들을 불러들이리라. 그들은 네 코와 귀를 베며 화풀이를 할 것이다. 그리고 나는 너에게서 태어난 것들을 칼에 맞아 죽게 하리라. 네 아들딸들을 더러는 잡아가게 하고 남은 것은 불에 태워 죽이게 하리라.
  1. They will also strip you of your clothes and take your fine jewelry.
  2. So I will put a stop to the lewdness and prostitution you began in Egypt. You will not look on these things with longing or remember Egypt anymore.
  3. "For this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am about to hand you over to those you hate, to those you turned away from in disgust.
  4. They will deal with you in hatred and take away everything you have worked for. They will leave you naked and bare, and the shame of your prostitution will be exposed. Your lewdness and promiscuity
  5. have brought this upon you, because you lusted after the nations and defiled yourself with their idols.
  1. 그들은 너에게서 옷을 벗기고 장신구들을 잡아뗄 것이다.
  2. 나는 네가 다시는 음란한 짓을 하지 못하게 하리라. 이집트에 있을 때부터 피우던 바람을 피우지 못하게 하리라. 그리하여 너는 다시는 이집트인들에게 눈을 돌리지 아니하고, 이집트 생각도 하지 않게 될 것이다.
  3. 주 야훼가 말한다. 두고 보아라. 네가 바빌론을 아무리 싫어 하여도 나는 너를 그의 손에 넘겨줄 것이다. 네가 정을 뗀 사람의 손에 너를 넘겨주리라.
  4. 그들은 너를 미워하여 행패를 부리고 그토록 애써서 모은 것을 털어가며 너를 벌거벗겨 내버릴 것이다. 그러면 놀아나던 너의 부끄러움이 드러날 것이다. 수치를 모르고 바람을 피우다가 그 꼴이 되고 말 것이다.
  5. 이는 네가 이 나라 저 나라의 뒤를 쫓아다니며 바람을 피우고 남의 나라 우상을 섬기며 몸을 더럽혔기 때문이다.
  1. You have gone the way of your sister; so I will put her cup into your hand.
  2. "This is what the Sovereign LORD says: "You will drink your sister's cup, a cup large and deep; it will bring scorn and derision, for it holds so much.
  3. You will be filled with drunkenness and sorrow, the cup of ruin and desolation, the cup of your sister Samaria.
  4. You will drink it and drain it dry; you will dash it to pieces and tear your breasts. I have spoken, declares the Sovereign LORD.
  5. "Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: Since you have forgotten me and thrust me behind your back, you must bear the consequences of your lewdness and prostitution."
  1. 너는 내 눈앞에서 네 언니의 모습을 닮아갔다. 네 언니가 마신 잔을 네 손에도 들려 주리라.
  2. 주 야훼가 말한다. 언니가 마신 잔을 너도 마시리라. 우묵하고 넓은 잔에 넘실거리게 마시고 웃음거리, 놀림감이 되어
  3. 넘치게 취하고 슬픔을 누를 길 없으리라. 몸과 신세를 망치는 이 잔은 너의 언니 사마리아가 마신 잔이다.
  4. 너는 이 잔 마지막 한 방울까지 마셔야 한다. 술찌꺼기까지 핥아야 한다. 가슴을 쥐어뜯어도 시원하지 않으리라. 내가 이렇게 선포하였다. 반드시 그대로 되리라. 주 야훼가 하는 말이다.
  5. 그러므로 주 야훼가 말한다. 너는 나를 잊었고 나에게 등을 돌렸으며 부끄러운 줄도 모르고 바람을 피웠다. 마땅히 그 벌을 받아야 하리라.'"
  1. The LORD said to me: "Son of man, will you judge Oholah and Oholibah? Then confront them with their detestable practices,
  2. for they have committed adultery and blood is on their hands. They committed adultery with their idols; they even sacrificed their children, whom they bore to me, as food for them.
  3. They have also done this to me: At that same time they defiled my sanctuary and desecrated my Sabbaths.
  4. On the very day they sacrificed their children to their idols, they entered my sanctuary and desecrated it. That is what they did in my house.
  5. "They even sent messengers for men who came from far away, and when they arrived you bathed yourself for them, painted your eyes and put on your jewelry.
  1. 야훼께서 나에게 말씀하셨다. "너 사람아, 네가 오홀라와 오홀리바를 심판하려느냐? 그들이 한 역겨운 짓들을 낱낱이 밝혀라.
  2. 그들은 간음을 하였고 게다가 손에는 피까지 묻혔다. 우상들을 섬기며 간음하는 한편 나에게 낳아준 제 자식들을 불에 살라 우상들에게 바치기까지 하였다.
  3. 그것도 모자라서 같은 날 나를 섬기는 곳을 더럽혔고 나의 안식일들을 욕되게 하였다.
  4. 저희의 우상들에게 자식들을 잡아 바치고는 같은 날, 나를 섬기는 곳에 들어와 거룩한 곳을 욕되게 하였다. 그렇다! 감히 나를 섬기는 성전 한가운데서 그런 짓을 하였다!
  5. 그러고도 모자라서 먼 데까지 사람을 보내어 사내들을 불러다가는 목욕하고 눈썹을 그리고 패물로 단장하고 맞아들였으며
  1. You sat on an elegant couch, with a table spread before it on which you had placed the incense and oil that belonged to me.
  2. "The noise of a carefree crowd was around her; Sabeans were brought from the desert along with men from the rabble, and they put bracelets on the arms of the woman and her sister and beautiful crowns on their heads.
  3. Then I said about the one worn out by adultery, 'Now let them use her as a prostitute, for that is all she is.'
  4. And they slept with her. As men sleep with a prostitute, so they slept with those lewd women, Oholah and Oholibah.
  5. But righteous men will sentence them to the punishment of women who commit adultery and shed blood, because they are adulterous and blood is on their hands.
  1. 나에게 바칠 향과 기름마저 곁들여 진수성찬을 차려놓고 그 앞에 앉았다.
  2. 어중이 떠중이가 모여서 떠들며 합창하는 가운데, 사막에서 온 스바인들이 여인들에게 팔찌를 끼워주고 그 머리에는 아름다운 화관을 씌워주었다.
  3. 하필이면 남의 남자와 놀아나다가 헐어빠진 여자하고 배가 맞는 녀석도 있을까 했더니,
  4. 창녀한테 가듯이 그런 계집과 어울리는 녀석도 있었다. 오홀라와 오홀리바 같은 추한 계집과 어울리는 녀석도 있었다.
  5. 그러나 옳게 사는 사람들도 있어 그들이 간음한 자를 다스리는 법과 살인자를 다스리는 법으로 그 여인들을 다스릴 것이다. 그들은 몸으로는 다른 남자와 놀아났고 손에는 피를 묻혔기 때문이다.
  1. "This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Bring a mob against them and give them over to terror and plunder.
  2. The mob will stone them and cut them down with their swords; they will kill their sons and daughters and burn down their houses.
  3. "So I will put an end to lewdness in the land, that all women may take warning and not imitate you.
  4. You will suffer the penalty for your lewdness and bear the consequences of your sins of idolatry. Then you will know that I am the Sovereign LORD."
  1. 주 야훼가 선언한다. 회중을 소집하여 그들의 재산을 몰수하고 혼을 내어주게 하여라.
  2. 회중으로 하여금 그들을 돌로 치고 칼로 베게 하여라. 그들의 아들딸들도 죽이고 집에는 불을 질러 사르게 하여라.
  3. 이렇게 이 땅에서 음란한 행위를 근절시키면 모든 여인이 정신을 차려 다시는 너희의 음행을 본받지 않게 될 것이다.
  4. 이렇게 추하게 살다가 그 죄를 받고, 우상을 섬기다가 그 벌을 받고 나서야 너희는 내가 주 야훼임을 알게 될 것이다."
