에스겔 34:17-36:15

 하나님께서는 거짓 목자들을 심판하시고 양떼를 공의로 다스리시며 메시아를 보내 주셔서 화평의 언약을 세우실 것을 약속하셨다. 그리고 이스라엘의 회복을 위해 이스라엘을 괴롭히던 에돔을 멸망시킬 것도 선언하셨다. 이스라엘은 땅을 빼앗김으로 수치를 당했으나, 야웨께서 그 땅을 되찾아 주셔서 그 백성들로 거하게 하실 것을 예고하셨다.
  
  참 목자의 통치와 언약(34:17-34:31)    
 
  1. " 'As for you, my flock, this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will judge between one sheep and another, and between rams and goats.
  2. Is it not enough for you to feed on the good pasture? Must you also trample the rest of your pasture with your feet? Is it not enough for you to drink clear water? Must you also muddy the rest with your feet?
  3. Must my flock feed on what you have trampled and drink what you have muddied with your feet?
  4. " 'Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says to them: See, I myself will judge between the fat sheep and the lean sheep.
  5. Because you shove with flank and shoulder, butting all the weak sheep with your horns until you have driven them away,
  1. 주 야훼가 말한다. 너희는 나의 양떼이다. 나는 이제 양과 양 사이, 숫양과 숫염소 사이의 시비를 가려주리라.
  2. 너희 가운데는 그 좋은 초원에서 풀을 뜯는 것만으로 부족한지 남은 초원들을 짓밟는 것들이 있다. 맑은 물을 마시고 나서는 첨벙첨벙 흐려놓는 것들이 있다.
  3. 그래서 나의 양떼는 짓밟힌 풀을 뜯어야 하고, 흐려놓은 물을 마시게 되었다.
  4. 그래서 주 야훼가 말한다. 나 이제 몸소 살진 양과 여윈 양 사이의 시비를 가려주리라.
  5. 너희들은 약한 양들을 모조리 옆구리와 어깨로 밀쳐내고, 뿔로 받아 우리 바깥으로 쫓아 흩어버리기까지 하였다.
  1. I will save my flock, and they will no longer be plundered. I will judge between one sheep and another.
  2. I will place over them one shepherd, my servant David, and he will tend them; he will tend them and be their shepherd.
  3. I the LORD will be their God, and my servant David will be prince among them. I the LORD have spoken.
  4. " 'I will make a covenant of peace with them and rid the land of wild beasts so that they may live in the desert and sleep in the forests in safety.
  5. I will bless them and the places surrounding my hill. I will send down showers in season; there will be showers of blessing.
  1. 그러나 나는 내 양떼를 구해 주어 다시는 노략질당하지 않게 하리라. 내가 양과 양 사이의 시비를 가려주리라.
  2. 내가 한 목자를 세워주겠다. 그는 나의 종 다윗이다. 그가 내 양떼를 돌보는 목자가 되리라.
  3. 나 야훼가 몸소 그들의 하느님이 되고, 나의 종 다윗이 그들의 영도자가 되리라. 나 야훼가 말하였다.
  4. 나는 그들과 평화의 계약을 맺으리라. 그 땅에서 맹수를 없애리니 사막에서도 안심하고 살 수 있고 숲에서도 편히 잠들 수 있으리라.
  5. 내가 제 때에 내려주는 가랑비, 때맞게 내려주는 소나기가 복을 실어다 주는 비가 되리라.
  1. The trees of the field will yield their fruit and the ground will yield its crops; the people will be secure in their land. They will know that I am the LORD, when I break the bars of their yoke and rescue them from the hands of those who enslaved them.
  2. They will no longer be plundered by the nations, nor will wild animals devour them. They will live in safety, and no one will make them afraid.
  3. I will provide for them a land renowned for its crops, and they will no longer be victims of famine in the land or bear the scorn of the nations.
  4. Then they will know that I, the LORD their God, am with them and that they, the house of Israel, are my people, declares the Sovereign LORD.
  5. You my sheep, the sheep of my pasture, are people, and I am your God, declares the Sovereign LORD.' "
  1. 들에 서 있는 나무가 열매를 맺고 땅이 소출을 내면, 그들은 제 농토를 떠나지 않고 안심하고 지낼 것이다. 메었던 멍에를 부수고 부리던 자의 손에서 구해내 주면, 그제야 그들이 내가 야훼임을 알게 될 것이다.
  2. 다시는 이민족들에게 노략질당하지 아니하고 야수에게 잡아먹히는 일도 없을 것이다. 아무 위협도 받지 않고 안심하고 살 수 있을 것이다.
  3. 내가 농사가 잘되게 해주어 다시는 굶주려 죽는 자가 없고 이민족들에게 수치를 겪는 일도 없을 것이다.
  4. 그제야 사람들은 나 야훼가 이스라엘의 하느님이요 그들이 나의 백성임을 알게 되리라. 주 야훼가 하는 말이다.
  5. 너희는 나의 양떼, 내가 기르는 양 무리요 나는 너희의 하느님이다. 주 야훼가 하는 말이다.'"
 
  에돔의 멸망(35:1-35:15)    
 
  1. The word of the LORD came to me:
  2. "Son of man, set your face against Mount Seir; prophesy against it
  3. and say: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am against you, Mount Seir, and I will stretch out my hand against you and make you a desolate waste.
  4. I will turn your towns into ruins and you will be desolate. Then you will know that I am the LORD.
  5. " 'Because you harbored an ancient hostility and delivered the Israelites over to the sword at the time of their calamity, the time their punishment reached its climax,
  1. 야훼께서 나에게 말씀을 내리셨다.
  2. "너 사람아, 너는 세일 산 쪽에 대고 거기에 사는 자들을 쳐서 이르는 나의 말을 전하여라.
  3. '주 야훼가 말한다. 세일 산에 사는 자들아, 나 이제 팔을 휘둘러 너희를 치고 세일을 황폐한 쑥밭으로 만들리라.
  4. 내가 너희 성들을 허물어버리면 세일은 쑥밭이 되리라. 그제야 너희는 내가 야훼임을 알리라.
  5. 너희는 이스라엘 백성을 대대로 원수로 여겨, 이스라엘이 마지막 벌을 받아 망할 때, 칼을 휘둘러 그들을 마구 죽였다.
  1. therefore as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, I will give you over to bloodshed and it will pursue you. Since you did not hate bloodshed, bloodshed will pursue you.
  2. I will make Mount Seir a desolate waste and cut off from it all who come and go.
  3. I will fill your mountains with the slain; those killed by the sword will fall on your hills and in your valleys and in all your ravines.
  4. I will make you desolate forever; your towns will not be inhabited. Then you will know that I am the LORD.
  5. " 'Because you have said, "These two nations and countries will be ours and we will take possession of them," even though I the LORD was there,
  1. 그래서 주 야훼가 말한다. 너희가 남의 피를 흘려 죄를 지었으니 반드시 너희도 사로잡혀 피의 보복을 받을 것이다.
  2. 내가 세일 산을 황폐한 쑥밭으로 만들면 그리로 지나가는 사람도 없고 거기에서 돌아오는 사람도 없으리라.
  3. 온 산에는 죽은 군인들의 시체가 가득하리라. 언덕에, 골짜기에, 개울에 칼 맞아 쓰러진 시체가 뒹굴리라.
  4. 내가 세일을 언제까지나 쑥밭으로 남기리니, 네 성읍은 무인지경이 되리라. 그제야 너희는 내가 야훼임을 알게 되리라.
  5. 너희는, -저 두 민족, 야훼가 있던 저 두 나라는 우리 것이니 가서 차지하자, 하고 말하였다.
  1. therefore as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, I will treat you in accordance with the anger and jealousy you showed in your hatred of them and I will make myself known among them when I judge you.
  2. Then you will know that I the LORD have heard all the contemptible things you have said against the mountains of Israel. You said, "They have been laid waste and have been given over to us to devour."
  3. You boasted against me and spoke against me without restraint, and I heard it.
  4. This is what the Sovereign LORD says: While the whole earth rejoices, I will make you desolate.
  5. Because you rejoiced when the inheritance of the house of Israel became desolate, that is how I will treat you. You will be desolate, O Mount Seir, you and all of Edom. Then they will know that I am the LORD.' "
  1. 그래서 나는 맹세한다. 너희는 원한에 사무쳐 눈에 불을 켜고 그들에게 화풀이를 하였다. 너희가 한 그만큼 나도 너희에게 갚아주리라. 주 야훼가 하는 말이다. 내가 너희에게 이렇게 심판을 내리면 내가 누구인지 드러날 것이다.
  2. 그제야 너희는 내가 야훼임을 알게 되리라. 너희가, 이스라엘 산악 지대가 온통 쑥밭이 되었으니 집어삼키자, 하고 우습게 보며 하던 말을 내가 다 들었다.
  3. 함부로 입을 놀려 건방진 말로 나를 빈정대는 것을 나는 똑똑히 들었다.
  4. 주 야훼가 말한다. 내가 너희를 쑥밭으로 만들면 온 세상이 고소해할 것이다.
  5. 이스라엘 족속의 유산이 쑥밭이 됐다고 너희는 고소해하였다. 내가 너희를 꼭 그 모양으로 만들리라. 세일 산 에돔 온 지역이 쑥밭이 되리니, 그제야 사람들은 내가 야훼임을 알게 되리라.'
 
  이스라엘의 회복(36:1-36:15)    
 
  1. "Son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel and say, 'O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the LORD.
  2. This is what the Sovereign LORD says: The enemy said of you, "Aha! The ancient heights have become our possession." '
  3. Therefore prophesy and say, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Because they ravaged and hounded you from every side so that you became the possession of the rest of the nations and the object of people's malicious talk and slander,
  4. therefore, O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Sovereign LORD : This is what the Sovereign LORD says to the mountains and hills, to the ravines and valleys, to the desolate ruins and the deserted towns that have been plundered and ridiculed by the rest of the nations around you-
  5. this is what the Sovereign LORD says: In my burning zeal I have spoken against the rest of the nations, and against all Edom, for with glee and with malice in their hearts they made my land their own possession so that they might plunder its pastureland.'
  1. 너 사람아, 너는 이스라엘 산악 지대에 나의 말을 전하여라. '이스라엘 산악들아, 이 야훼의 말을 들어라.
  2. 주 야훼가 말한다. 너희 원수들이 너희에게, 하하, 저 영원한 언덕들은 이제 우리 것이지, 하며 큰소리쳤다.'
  3. 그러니 너는 이렇게 내 말을 전하여라. '주 야훼가 말한다. 주위의 나라들이 너희 땅을 쑥밭으로 만들었다. 다른 민족들이 기습하여 와서 너희 땅을 차지하였다. 그래서 너희는 남의 입에 오르내리는 신세가 되어 사람들의 조롱거리가 되었다.
  4. 그러니 이스라엘 산악들아, 이 야훼의 말을 들어라. 주 야훼가 하는 말이다. 산과 언덕들, 개울과 계곡들, 쑥밭이 된 폐허들과 노략질당하여 주위에 살아 남은 민족들의 조소거리가 된 텅빈 성읍들에게 하는 말을 들어라!
  5. 주 야훼가 말한다. 내 땅을 좋아라 차지하고 내 땅의 주민을 멸시하며 내쫓고 노략질한 민족들 가운데 살아 남은 자들과 에돔을 생각하면 화가 나서 못 견디겠다. 내가 맹세코 그것들을 심판하리라.'
  1. Therefore prophesy concerning the land of Israel and say to the mountains and hills, to the ravines and valleys: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I speak in my jealous wrath because you have suffered the scorn of the nations.
  2. Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I swear with uplifted hand that the nations around you will also suffer scorn.
  3. " 'But you, O mountains of Israel, will produce branches and fruit for my people Israel, for they will soon come home.
  4. I am concerned for you and will look on you with favor; you will be plowed and sown,
  5. and I will multiply the number of people upon you, even the whole house of Israel. The towns will be inhabited and the ruins rebuilt.
  1. 그러니 너는 이스라엘 고국 강토에 나의 말을 전하여라. 산과 언덕들, 개울과 계곡들에게 내 말을 전하여라. '주 야훼가 말한다. 나 이제 화가 나고 울화가 터져서 선언한다. 너희가 뭇 민족에게 수치거리가 되었기에,
  2. 주 야훼가 말한다. 내가 손을 들고 맹세한다. 너희 주위에 있는 민족들도 정녕 수치를 당하리라.
  3. 이스라엘 산악들아, 내 백성 이스라엘이 곧 돌아오리라. 너희는 다시 가지를 뻗어 열매를 맺어라.
  4. 나 이제 너희에게로 간다. 내가 너희에게 얼굴을 돌리면 사람들은 너희를 갈아, 씨를 뿌리게 되리라.
  5. 나는 너희 위에 온 이스라엘 족속이 불어나 많은 사람이 살며 폐허가 된 성읍을 재건하게 하리라.
  1. I will increase the number of men and animals upon you, and they will be fruitful and become numerous. I will settle people on you as in the past and will make you prosper more than before. Then you will know that I am the LORD.
  2. I will cause people, my people Israel, to walk upon you. They will possess you, and you will be their inheritance; you will never again deprive them of their children.
  3. " 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Because people say to you, "You devour men and deprive your nation of its children,"
  4. therefore you will no longer devour men or make your nation childless, declares the Sovereign LORD.
  5. No longer will I make you hear the taunts of the nations, and no longer will you suffer the scorn of the peoples or cause your nation to fall, declares the Sovereign LORD.' "
  1. 사람과 짐승이 새끼를 많이 낳아 너희 위에 사람과 짐승이 우글거리게 하리라. 너희는 전처럼 사람이 불어, 예전보다 더 살기 좋은 고장이 되리라. 그제야 너희는 내가 야훼임을 알게 될 것이다.
  2. 너희 위에 사람의 발길, 내 백성 이스라엘의 발길이 닿을 것이다. 내 백성이 너희를 차지하면 너희는 그들의 유산이 되어 다시는 그들을 여의지 않아도 될 것이다.
  3. 주 야훼가 말한다. 사람들이 너희를, 사람 잡아먹는 땅이요, 제 백성을 여의는 땅이라고들 한다마는,
  4. 너희가 다시는 사람을 잡아먹지 아니하고 다시는 백성을 여의지 않게 되리라. 주 야훼가 하는 말이다.
  5. 내가 너희로 하여금 다시는 뭇 민족에게 욕을 먹지 않게 해주리니, 너희는 뭇 백성에게 다시는 조소를 받지 않고 네 백성을 여의지도 않게 되리라. 주 야훼가 하는 말이다.'"
