- O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens.
- From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise because of your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger.
- When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place,
- what is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him?
- You made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor.

- (성가대 지휘자를 따라 '깃딧'이란 곡조에 맞춰 부른 다윗의 노래) 여호와 우리 하나님이시여, 온 땅에 주의 이름이 어찌 그리 위엄이 있습니까! 주를 찬양하는 소리, 하늘까지 울려퍼집니다.
- 주는 어린 아이와 젖먹이를 통해서도 주를 찬양하게 하셨습니다. 주의 원수들이 이것을 보고 부끄러워 잠잠하게 하소서.
- 주께서 만드신 하늘, 그 곳에 두신 달과 별, 내가 신기한 눈으로 바라봅니다.
- 사람이 무엇인데 주께서 그를 생각하시며 사람의 아들이 무엇인데 주께서 그를 돌보십니까?
- 주께서는 그를 천사보다 조금 못하게 하시고 영광과 존귀의 관을 그에게 씌우셨습니다.

- You made him ruler over the works of your hands; you put everything under his feet:
- all flocks and herds, and the beasts of the field,
- the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea, all that swim the paths of the seas.

- 주의 손으로 만드신 모든 것을 주께서는 사람이 다스리게 하시고 모든 것을 그의 발 아래 복종하게 하셨습니다.
- 모든 가축과 들짐승,
- 공중의 새와 물고기, 모든 바다 생물이 바로 그것입니다.
- 여호와 우리 하나님이시여, 온 땅에 주의 이름이 어찌 그리 위엄이 있습니까!
