마가복음 4:35-5:34

 예수님께서는 풍랑을 잔잔케 하셨고 군대 귀신 들린 자와 혈루병을 앓는 여인을 고쳐 주셨다.
  
  예수님의 권능(4:35-5:34)    
 
  1. That day when evening came, he said to his disciples, "Let us go over to the other side."
  2. Leaving the crowd behind, they took him along, just as he was, in the boat. There were also other boats with him.
  3. A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped.
  4. Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, "Teacher, don't you care if we drown?"
  5. He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, "Quiet! Be still!" Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.
  1. 그 날 저녁에 예수님이 제자들에게 '바다 저편으로 건너가자.' 하고 말씀하셨다.
  2. 그래서 제자들은 군중을 남겨 두고 예수님이 타신 배로 함께 떠났고 다른 배들도 따라갔다.
  3. 그런데 갑자기 큰 폭풍이 휘몰아치고 파도가 덮쳐 배가 침몰하게 되었다.
  4. 그러나 예수님은 배의 뒷 부분에서 베개를 베고 주무시고 계셨다. 제자들은 예수님을 깨우며 '선생님, 우리가 죽게 되었는데도 모른 척하십니까?' 하고 소리쳤다.
  5. 예수님이 일어나 바람을 꾸짖으시며 바다를 향해 '잔잔하라! 고요하라!' 하시자 바람이 멎고 바다는 아주 잔잔해졌다.
  1. He said to his disciples, "Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?"
  2. They were terrified and asked each other, "Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!"
  1. 그리고 나서 예수님은 제자들에게 '왜 그렇게 무서워하느냐? 너희가 아직도 나를 믿지 못하느냐?' 하고 말씀하셨다.
  2. 제자들은 몹시 두려워하며 '도대체 이분이 누구시기에 바람과 바다도 복종하는가?' 하고 서로 수군거렸다.
 
 
  1. They went across the lake to the region of the Gerasenes.
  2. When Jesus got out of the boat, a man with an evil spirit came from the tombs to meet him.
  3. This man lived in the tombs, and no one could bind him any more, not even with a chain.
  4. For he had often been chained hand and foot, but he tore the chains apart and broke the irons on his feet. No one was strong enough to subdue him.
  5. Night and day among the tombs and in the hills he would cry out and cut himself with stones.
  1. 예수님의 일행은 바다 건너편 거라사 지방에 이르렀다.
  2. 예수님이 배에서 내리시자 귀신 들린 사람이 무덤 사이에서 나와 예수님과 마주치게 되었다.
  3. 그는 공동 묘지에서 살고 있었는데 아무도 그를 묶어 둘 수가 없고 쇠사슬마저 소용이 없었다.
  4. 그는 여러 번 쇠고랑과 쇠사슬에 묶였으나 그것들을 끊고 부수어 아무도 그의 힘을 당해 내지 못하였다.
  5. 그는 밤낮 공동 묘지와 산 속을 돌아다니며 소리지르고 돌로 제 몸을 해치곤 하였다.
  1. When he saw Jesus from a distance, he ran and fell on his knees in front of him.
  2. He shouted at the top of his voice, "What do you want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? Swear to God that you won't torture me!"
  3. For Jesus had said to him, "Come out of this man, you evil spirit!"
  4. Then Jesus asked him, "What is your name?" "My name is Legion," he replied, "for we are many."
  5. And he begged Jesus again and again not to send them out of the area.
  1. 그가 멀리서 예수님을 보고 뛰어와 절하며 큰 소리로
  2. '가장 높으신 하나님의 아들 예수님, 내가 당신과 무슨 상관이 있습니까? 부탁드립니다. 제발 나를 괴롭히지 마십시오.' 하고 외쳤다.
  3. 이것은 예수님이 그에게 '더러운 귀신아, 그 사람에게서 나오너라.' 하고 명령하셨기 때문이었다.
  4. 예수님이 그에게 '네 이름이 무엇이냐?' 하고 물으시자 그는 '군대입니다. 우리 수가 많기 때문입니다.' 하고 대답하였다.
  5. 그리고 그는 자기들을 그 지방에서 쫓아내지 말아달라고 간청하였다.
  1. A large herd of pigs was feeding on the nearby hillside.
  2. The demons begged Jesus, "Send us among the pigs; allow us to go into them."
  3. He gave them permission, and the evil spirits came out and went into the pigs. The herd, about two thousand in number, rushed down the steep bank into the lake and were drowned.
  4. Those tending the pigs ran off and reported this in the town and countryside, and the people went out to see what had happened.
  5. When they came to Jesus, they saw the man who had been possessed by the legion of demons, sitting there, dressed and in his right mind; and they were afraid.
  1. 마침 그 곳 산기슭에 많은 돼지 떼가 풀을 먹고 있었다.
  2. 귀신들은 예수님께 '우리를 돼지 떼에게 보내 그 속에 들어가게 해 주십시오.' 하고 간청하였다.
  3. 예수님이 허락하시자 더러운 귀신들이 나와 돼지떼 속으로 들어갔는데 거의 2,000 마리나 되는 돼지 떼가 가파른 비탈로 내리달려 바다에 빠져 죽고 말았다.
  4. 돼지를 치던 자들이 도망하여 읍내와 촌에 이 일을 말하자 사람들이 일어난 일을 보려고 모여들었다.
  5. 그들은 전에 군대 귀신 들렸던 사람이 옷을 입고 맑은 정신으로 예수님 앞에 앉아 있는 것을 보고 두려워하였다.
  1. Those who had seen it told the people what had happened to the demon-possessed man--and told about the pigs as well.
  2. Then the people began to plead with Jesus to leave their region.
  3. As Jesus was getting into the boat, the man who had been demon-possessed begged to go with him.
  4. Jesus did not let him, but said, "Go home to your family and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you."
  5. So the man went away and began to tell in the Decapolishow much Jesus had done for him. And all the people were amazed.
  1. 그 일을 지켜본 사람들이 귀신 들렸던 사람과 돼지 떼에게 일어난 일을 그들에게 이야기해 주자
  2. 그들이 예수님께 그 지방을 떠나 달라고 간청하였다.
  3. 예수님이 배에 오르실 때 귀신 들렸던 사람이 같이 가게 해 달라고 간청하였으나
  4. 예수님은 허락하지 않으시고 그에게 '어서 집으로 돌아가 주님께서 행하신 큰 일과 어떻게 너를 불쌍히 여기셨는가를 가족에게 알려라.' 하고 말씀하셨다.
  5. 그가 곧 가서 예수님이 자기에게 행하신 큰 일을 데가볼리 지방에 알리자 듣는 사람들이 모두 신기하게 여겼다.
  1. When Jesus had again crossed over by boat to the other side of the lake, a large crowd gathered around him while he was by the lake.
  2. Then one of the synagogue rulers, named Jairus, came there. Seeing Jesus, he fell at his feet
  3. and pleaded earnestly with him, "My little daughter is dying. Please come and put your hands on her so that she will be healed and live."
  4. So Jesus went with him. A large crowd followed and pressed around him.
  5. And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years.
  1. 예수님은 배를 타고 다시 건너편으로 돌아오셨다. 많은 군중들이 바닷가에 계시는 예수님께 모여들었다.
  2. 그때 야이로라는 회당장이 와서 예수님의 발앞에 엎드려
  3. '제 어린 딸이 죽어 갑니다. 제발 오셔서 손을 얹어 살려 주십시오.' 하고 간청하였다.
  4. 예수님이 그를 따라가시자 많은 사람들이 뒤따라가며 밀어닥쳤다.
  5. 군중 가운데 12년 동안 피를 흘리며 앓던 한 여자가 있었다.
  1. She had suffered a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of getting better she grew worse.
  2. When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak,
  3. because she thought, "If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed."
  4. Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering.
  5. At once Jesus realized that power had gone out from him. He turned around in the crowd and asked, "Who touched my clothes?"
  1. 그녀는 많은 의사들을 찾아다니며 치료를 받느라고 무척 고생하였고 있던 재산도 다 허비하였으나 나아지기는커녕 오히려 병만 더 악화되었다.
  2. 마침 그녀는 예수님의 소문을 듣고 군중 틈에 끼어 가다가 뒤에서 예수님의 옷자락을 만졌다.
  3. 그 여자는 예수님의 옷만 만져도 자기 병이 나을 것이라고 생각했던 것이다.
  4. 예수님의 옷자락을 만지는 순간 즉시 피가 멎었고 그녀는 병이 나은 것을 느꼈다
  5. 예수님은 곧 능력이 자기에게서 나간 것을 아시고 돌아보시며 '누가 내 옷을 만졌느냐?' 하고 물으셨다.
  1. "You see the people crowding against you," his disciples answered, "and yet you can ask, 'Who touched me?' "
  2. But Jesus kept looking around to see who had done it.
  3. Then the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell at his feet and, trembling with fear, told him the whole truth.
  4. He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering."
  1. 그러자 제자들이 예수님께 '군중이 이렇게 밀어닥치는 것을 보시면서 누가 만졌느냐고 물으십니까?' 하고 말하였다.
  2. 그러나 누가 옷을 만졌는지 알아보려고 예수님이 둘러보시자
  3. 그 여자는 자기에게 일어난 일을 알고 두려워 떨며 예수님 앞에 와서 엎드려 사실대로 말하였다.
  4. 그래서 예수님은 그 여자에게 '딸아, 네 믿음이 너를 낫게 하였다. 평안히 가거라. 그리고 질병에서 해방되어 건강하여라.' 하고 말씀하셨다.
 
  혈루증(血漏症, 5:25)  정상적인 여성의 생리 현상 외에 계속 또는 간헐적으로 하혈을 하는 병
