- Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people he chose for his inheritance.
- From heaven the LORD looks down and sees all mankind;
- from his dwelling place he watches all who live on earth-
- he who forms the hearts of all, who considers everything they do.
- No king is saved by the size of his army; no warrior escapes by his great strength.

- 여호와를 하나님으로 모신 나라가 복이 있고 하나님이 자기 백성으로 택하신 민족이 복이 있다!
- 여호와께서 하늘에서 굽어살펴 전 인류를 보시며
- 그의 처소에서 세상 모든 사람들을 살피신다.
- 여호와는 모든 사람들의 마음을 만드시고 그들이 행하는 일을 일일이 지켜보고 계신다.
- 군사가 많다고 해서 왕이 승리하는 것은 아니며 용사가 힘이 세다고 해서 이기는 것은 아니다.

- A horse is a vain hope for deliverance; despite all its great strength it cannot save.
- But the eyes of the LORD are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love,
- to deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine.
- We wait in hope for the LORD; he is our help and our shield.
- In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name.

- 전쟁의 승패가 말에 달려 있는 것이 아니니 아무리 그 힘이 강해도 그것으로 이길 수는 없다.
- 여호와는 자기를 두려운 마음으로 섬기고 그의 한결같은 사랑을 의지하는 자들을 살피셔서
- 그들을 죽음에서 건지시며 흉년에도 그들을 살리신다.
- 우리가 희망을 가지고 여호와를 바라보는 것은 그가 우리의 도움이요 방패이기 때문이다.
- 우리 마음이 그 안에서 기뻐하는 것은 우리가 그의 거룩한 이름을 의지하기 때문이다.
