레위기 11:1-12:8

 야웨께서는 백성들이 먹을 수 있는 정한 음식으로, 굽이 갈라져 쪽발이 되고 새김질하는 짐승, 지느러미와 비늘이 있는 어류, 정한 조류와 날개 있고 네 발로 기어 다니되 뛰는 다리가 있는 곤충 등을 허락하셨다. 그외 부정한 것들은 먹지도 접촉하지도 않음으로써 성결케 하도록 하셨다. 출산으로 부정케 된 여인이 정결케 되는 방법에 대해서도 말씀하셨다.
  
  정한 짐승과 부정한 짐승(11:1-11:47)    
 
  1. The LORD said to Moses and Aaron,
  2. "Say to the Israelites: 'Of all the animals that live on land, these are the ones you may eat:
  3. You may eat any animal that has a split hoof completely divided and that chews the cud.
  4. " 'There are some that only chew the cud or only have a split hoof, but you must not eat them. The camel, though it chews the cud, does not have a split hoof; it is ceremonially unclean for you.
  5. The coney, though it chews the cud, does not have a split hoof; it is unclean for you.
  1. 여호와께서 모세와 아론을 통해 이스라엘 백성에게 이렇게 말씀하셨다. '육지에 사는 짐승 가운데

  3. 발굽이 갈라지고 새김질하는 것은 너희가 먹을 수 있으나
  4. 그 중에서도 먹지 못할 것이 있다. 새김질은 하지만 굽이 갈라지지 않은 낙타와 오소리와 토끼와 그리고 굽은 갈라졌으나 새김질을 하지 못하는 돼지를 먹어서는 안 된다.

  1. The rabbit, though it chews the cud, does not have a split hoof; it is unclean for you.
  2. And the pig, though it has a split hoof completely divided, does not chew the cud; it is unclean for you.
  3. You must not eat their meat or touch their carcasses; they are unclean for you.
  4. " 'Of all the creatures living in the water of the seas and the streams, you may eat any that have fins and scales.
  5. But all creatures in the seas or streams that do not have fins and scales--whether among all the swarming things or among all the other living creatures in the water--you are to detest.

  1. And since you are to detest them, you must not eat their meat and you must detest their carcasses.
  2. Anything living in the water that does not have fins and scales is to be detestable to you.
  3. " 'These are the birds you are to detest and not eat because they are detestable: the eagle, the vulture, the black vulture,
  4. the red kite, any kind of black kite,
  5. any kind of raven,
  1. 이것들은 부정한 것이므로 그 고기를 먹지도 말고 죽은 것을 만지지도 말아라.
  2. 내가 다시 말하지만 물 속에 사는 고기 중에서 지느러미와 비늘이 없는 것은 절대로 먹어서는 안 된다.
  3. 새 중에서 너희가 먹을 수 없는 것은 독수리, 솔개, 물수리, 매 종류와 까마귀 종류, 타조, 쏙독새, 갈매기, 새매 종류, 올빼미, 가마우지, 부엉이, 따오기, 사다새, 학, 황새, 왜가리, 오디새, 박쥐이다. 이것들은 부정하므로 먹어서는 안된다.

  1. the horned owl, the screech owl, the gull, any kind of hawk,
  2. the little owl, the cormorant, the great owl,
  3. the white owl, the desert owl, the osprey,
  4. the stork, any kind of heron, the hoopoe and the bat.
  5. " 'All flying insects that walk on all fours are to be detestable to you.

  1. There are, however, some winged creatures that walk on all fours that you may eat: those that have jointed legs for hopping on the ground.
  2. Of these you may eat any kind of locust, katydid, cricket or grasshopper.
  3. But all other winged creatures that have four legs you are to detest.
  4. " 'You will make yourselves unclean by these; whoever touches their carcasses will be unclean till evening.
  5. Whoever picks up one of their carcasses must wash his clothes, and he will be unclean till evening.
  1. 그러나 날개 달린 곤충 중에서도 땅에서 뛸 수 있는 것은 예외이다.
  2. 그 중에 메뚜기 종류와 베짱이 종류와 귀뚜라미 종류와 여치 종류는 너희가 먹을 수 있다.
  3. 그러나 날개가 달려 있으면서도 네 발로 기어다니는 곤충은 다 부정하므로 너희가 먹어서는 안 된다.
  4. 이런 종류의 죽은 곤충을 만지는 자는 누구든지 저녁까지 부정할 것이다.
  5. 그러므로 그는 즉시 입었던 옷을 벗어 빨고 저녁까지 외부와의 접촉을 금해야 한다.
  1. " 'Every animal that has a split hoof not completely divided or that does not chew the cud is unclean for you; whoever touches the carcass of any of them will be unclean.
  2. Of all the animals that walk on all fours, those that walk on their paws are unclean for you; whoever touches their carcasses will be unclean till evening.
  3. Anyone who picks up their carcasses must wash his clothes, and he will be unclean till evening. They are unclean for you.
  4. " 'Of the animals that move about on the ground, these are unclean for you: the weasel, the rat, any kind of great lizard,
  5. the gecko, the monitor lizard, the wall lizard, the skink and the chameleon.
  1. 짐승 가운데 굽이 있어도 완전히 갈라지지 않은 것이나 새김질을 하지 않는 것의 사체에 접촉하는 자는 부정할 것이다.
  2. 네 발로 다니는 짐승 중에서 발톱을 가진 동물의 사체를 만지는 자는 저녁까지 부정할 것이다.
  3. 그 사체를 옮기는 자는 옷을 벗어 빨아야 한다. 그러나 저녁까지는 여전히 부정할 것이다.
  4. 땅에 기어다니는 길짐승 가운데 너희에게 부정한 것은 족제비와 각종 쥐와 도마뱀 종류와 육지 악어와 카멜레온이다.

  1. Of all those that move along the ground, these are unclean for you. Whoever touches them when they are dead will be unclean till evening.
  2. When one of them dies and falls on something, that article, whatever its use, will be unclean, whether it is made of wood, cloth, hide or sackcloth. Put it in water; it will be unclean till evening, and then it will be clean.
  3. If one of them falls into a clay pot, everything in it will be unclean, and you must break the pot.
  4. Any food that could be eaten but has water on it from such a pot is unclean, and any liquid that could be drunk from it is unclean.
  5. Anything that one of their carcasses falls on becomes unclean; an oven or cooking pot must be broken up. They are unclean, and you are to regard them as unclean.
  1. 이것들은 부정하므로 그 사체를 만지는 자는 저녁까지 부정할 것이다.
  2. 그리고 이런 길짐승의 사체가 어떤 물건에 떨어지면 그것이 나무그릇이든 자루든 무엇이든지 부정해질 것이다. 그러므로 그런 것에 닿은 물건은 물에 담가 두어라. 저녁까지 부정하다가 그 후에 깨끗해질 것이다.
  3. 만일 그런 사체가 어떤 질그릇에 떨어지면 그 속에 있는 것이 다 부정하게 될 것이다. 너희는 그 그릇을 깨뜨려 버려야 한다.
  4. 그런 그릇의 물이 어떤 음식에 떨어지면 그 음식이 부정하게 될 것이며 그 그릇에 담겨 있는 음료수도 다 부정해질 것이다.
  5. 이런 길짐승의 사체에 접촉하는 물건은 무엇이든지 부정하게 된다. 그러므로 그런 것이 닿은 질그릇은 그것이 화로든 난로든 깨뜨려 버려라.
  1. A spring, however, or a cistern for collecting water remains clean, but anyone who touches one of these carcasses is unclean.
  2. If a carcass falls on any seeds that are to be planted, they remain clean.
  3. But if water has been put on the seed and a carcass falls on it, it is unclean for you.
  4. " 'If an animal that you are allowed to eat dies, anyone who touches the carcass will be unclean till evening.
  5. Anyone who eats some of the carcass must wash his clothes, and he will be unclean till evening. Anyone who picks up the carcass must wash his clothes, and he will be unclean till evening.
  1. 그리고 그런 사체가 샘이나 웅덩이에 떨어졌을 때 물 자체는 부정해지지 않지만 그것을 건져내는 자는 부정해질 것이다.
  2. 그리고 그런 사체가 밭에 심을 종자에 떨어졌을 경우에는 그것이 부정해지지 않지만
  3. 만일 그 씨가 물에 젖어 있을 때 그 위에 이런 것들이 떨어지면 그 씨가 부정하게 될 것이다.
  4. 너희가 먹을 수 있는 짐승이라도 그것이 죽었을 경우에 누구든지 그 사체에 접촉하면 저녁까지 부정할 것이다.
  5. 그리고 죽은 짐승을 먹거나 옮기는 자는 입었던 옷을 빨아야 한다. 그러나 그는 여전히 저녁까지 부정할 것이다.
  1. " 'Every creature that moves about on the ground is detestable; it is not to be eaten.
  2. You are not to eat any creature that moves about on the ground, whether it moves on its belly or walks on all fours or on many feet; it is detestable.
  3. Do not defile yourselves by any of these creatures. Do not make yourselves unclean by means of them or be made unclean by them.
  4. I am the LORD your God; consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I am holy. Do not make yourselves unclean by any creature that moves about on the ground.
  5. I am the LORD who brought you up out of Egypt to be your God; therefore be holy, because I am holy.
  1. 땅에 기어다니는 것은 다 부정하다. 너희는 그런 것을 먹지 말아라.
  2. 배로 밀어 다니든, 네 발이나 많은 발로 기어다니든 땅에 기는 것은 다 부정하므로, 먹어서는 안 된다.
  3. 너희는 이런 것들을 먹거나 접촉하여 자신을 더럽히지 말아라.
  4. 나는 너희 하나님 여호와이다. 내가 거룩하니 너희도 자신을 정결하게 하여 거룩하게 하라. 너희는 땅에 기어다니는 이런 부정한 길짐승으로 자신을 더럽혀서는 안 된다.
  5. 나는 너희 하나님이 되려고 너희를 이집트에서 인도해 낸 여호와이다. 내가 거룩하니 너희도 거룩하여라'
  1. " 'These are the regulations concerning animals, birds, every living thing that moves in the water and every creature that moves about on the ground.
  2. You must distinguish between the unclean and the clean, between living creatures that may be eaten and those that may not be eaten.' "
  1. 이것은 짐승과 새와 물 속의 사는 것과 땅에 기어다니는 것에 관한 규정으로
  2. 깨끗한 것과 부정한 것, 먹을 것과 먹지 못할 것을 구별해 놓은 것이다.
 
  산모의 정결 의식(12:1-12:8)    
 
  1. The LORD said to Moses,
  2. "Say to the Israelites: 'A woman who becomes pregnant and gives birth to a son will be ceremonially unclean for seven days, just as she is unclean during her monthly period.
  3. On the eighth day the boy is to be circumcised.
  4. Then the woman must wait thirty-three days to be purified from her bleeding. She must not touch anything sacred or go to the sanctuary until the days of her purification are over.
  5. If she gives birth to a daughter, for two weeks the woman will be unclean, as during her period. Then she must wait sixty-six days to be purified from her bleeding.
  1. 여호와께서 모세를 통하여 이스라엘 백성에게 이렇게 말씀하셨다.
  2. '여자가 임신하여 아들을 낳으면 산모는 7일 동안 부정할 것이다. 이것은 생리 기간 중의 부정과 마찬가지이다.
  3. 생후 8일째가 되면 그 아이의 포피를 잘라 할례를 베풀어야 한다.
  4. 해산한 여인은 그때부터 33일을 지나야 그 죄의 부정에서 깨끗해질 것이다. 그 동안에는 거룩한 물건을 만져서도 안 되며 성소에 들어가서도 안 된다.
  5. 만일 여자가 임신하여 딸을 낳았을 경우에는 2주일 동안 부정할 것이다. 이것은 생리 기간 중의 부정과 마찬가지이다. 그리고 그 산모는 66일을 더 지나야 그 피의 부정에서 깨끗하게 될 것이다.
  1. " 'When the days of her purification for a son or daughter are over, she is to bring to the priest at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting a year-old lamb for a burnt offering and a young pigeon or a dove for a sin offering.
  2. He shall offer them before the LORD to make atonement for her, and then she will be ceremonially clean from her flow of blood. " 'These are the regulations for the woman who gives birth to a boy or a girl.
  3. If she cannot afford a lamb, she is to bring two doves or two young pigeons, one for a burnt offering and the other for a sin offering. In this way the priest will make atonement for her, and she will be clean.' "
  1. 여자가 아들을 낳았든지 딸을 낳았든지 그 부정한 기간이 지나면 그 여인은 번제물로 일 년 된 어린 양 한 마리와, 속죄제물로 집비둘기 새끼나 산비둘기 한 마리를 마련하여 제사장에게 가져 갈 것이며
  2. 제사장은 그 제물을 나 여호와 앞에 바쳐 그 여인을 위해 속죄해야 한다. 그러면 그 여인의 부정이 의식상 완전히 깨끗해질 것이다. 이것은 해산한 여자에 관한 규정이다.
  3. 만일 그 여인이 너무 가난하며 어린 양을 제물로 드릴 형편이 못 되면 산비둘기 두 마리나 집비둘기 새끼 두 마리를 제사장에게 가지고 가서 하나는 번제물로, 하나는 속죄제물로 주도록 하여라. 제사장이 그 여인을 위해 속죄하면 그녀가 의식상 깨끗해질 것이다.'
