레위기 25:35-26:39

 하나님께서는 이스라엘 백성들에게 가난한 자와 이방인의 종이 된 동족을 도와주라고 명령하셨다. 그리고 우상을 숭배하지 않고 율법에 순종하는 자는 복을 받지만 불순종하고 거역하는 자들은 저주를 받을 것이라고 선포하셨다.
  
  축복과 저주(25:35-26:39)    
 
  1. " 'If one of your countrymen becomes poor and is unable to support himself among you, help him as you would an alien or a temporary resident, so he can continue to live among you.
  2. Do not take interest of any kind from him, but fear your God, so that your countryman may continue to live among you.
  3. You must not lend him money at interest or sell him food at a profit.
  4. I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt to give you the land of Canaan and to be your God.
  5. " 'If one of your countrymen becomes poor among you and sells himself to you, do not make him work as a slave.
  1. 만일 너희 동족 가운데 너무 가난하여 먹고 살 길이 막연한 자가 있거든 너희는 그를 도와 갈 곳 없는 나그네처럼 여겨 한 집에 데리고 살아라.
  2. 너희는 너희 하나님을 두려워하며 그 사람을 형제처럼 여기고 그에게 빌려 준 돈에 대해서도 이자를 받지 말아라.
  3. 너희는 그에게 이자를 받을 셈으로 돈을 빌려 주지 말고 밥을 먹여 준다고 해서 무슨 이득을 바라서도 안 된다.
  4. 나는 너희에게 가나안 땅을 주고 또 너희 하나님이 되기 위해서 너희를 이집트에서 인도해 낸 너희 하나님 여호와이다.
  5. 만일 너희 동족이 가난하여 너희에게 몸을 팔거든 너희는 그를 노예처럼 부려먹지 말고
  1. He is to be treated as a hired worker or a temporary resident among you; he is to work for you until the Year of Jubilee.
  2. Then he and his children are to be released, and he will go back to his own clan and to the property of his forefathers.
  3. Because the Israelites are my servants, whom I brought out of Egypt, they must not be sold as slaves.
  4. Do not rule over them ruthlessly, but fear your God.
  5. " 'Your male and female slaves are to come from the nations around you; from them you may buy slaves.
  1. 품꾼이나 잠시 너희 집에 몸 붙여 사는 나그네처럼 여겨 희년까지만 너희를 섬기게 하라.
  2. 희년이 되면 그와 그 자녀들은 너희를 떠나 그의 가족과 조상의 소유지로 돌아가게 하라.
  3. 이스라엘 백성은 내가 이집트에서 인도해 낸 나의 종이다. 그러므로 너희 동족이 노예로 팔려가는 일이 있어서는 안된다.
  4. 너희는 그를 가혹하게 부려먹지 말고 너희 하나님을 두려워하라.
  5. 만일 너희가 종이 필요하면 너희 주변에 사는 이방 민족 중에서 사올 수 있고
  1. You may also buy some of the temporary residents living among you and members of their clans born in your country, and they will become your property.
  2. You can will them to your children as inherited property and can make them slaves for life, but you must not rule over your fellow Israelites ruthlessly.
  3. " 'If an alien or a temporary resident among you becomes rich and one of your countrymen becomes poor and sells himself to the alien living among you or to a member of the alien's clan,
  4. he retains the right of redemption after he has sold himself. One of his relatives may redeem him:
  5. An uncle or a cousin or any blood relative in his clan may redeem him. Or if he prospers, he may redeem himself.
  1. 또 너희 가운데 사는 외국인의 자녀 중에서도 살 수 있다. 그들이 너희 땅에서 태어났어도 너희 소유가 될 것이다.
  2. 또 너희는 그들을 너희 후손들에게 유산으로 물려 줄 수도 있다. 그러나 너희가 너희 동족을 가혹하게 부려 먹어서는 안된다.
  3. 만일 너희 가운데 사는 외국인은 부요하고 그 이웃에 사는 너희 동족은 가난하여 그가 외국인이나 그 외국인의 가족에게 몸을 팔았으면
  4. 그는 팔린 후에도 그 몸값만 지불하면 언제든지 그 집에서 풀려날 수가 있다. 이런 경우에는 그의 형제 중 한 사람이 그의 몸값을 지불하든가
  5. 아니면 그의 삼촌이나 사촌이나 그의 가까운 친척 중에서 누구든지 그의 몸값을 지불할 수 있다. 그러나 만일 그가 돈을 벌어 자기 몸값을 지불할 능력이 있으면 스스로 몸값을 물어 주고 자유의 몸이 될 수 있다.
  1. He and his buyer are to count the time from the year he sold himself up to the Year of Jubilee. The price for his release is to be based on the rate paid to a hired man for that number of years.
  2. If many years remain, he must pay for his redemption a larger share of the price paid for him.
  3. If only a few years remain until the Year of Jubilee, he is to compute that and pay for his redemption accordingly.
  4. He is to be treated as a man hired from year to year; you must see to it that his owner does not rule over him ruthlessly.
  5. " 'Even if he is not redeemed in any of these ways, he and his children are to be released in the Year of Jubilee,
  1. 그는 자기를 산 자와 함께 자기가 팔린 때부터 희년까지의 햇수를 계산하여 그 햇수에 해당하는 고용인의 품값을 기준하여 몸값을 정해야 한다.
  2. 희년까지 남은 햇수가 많으면 자기가 팔릴 때 받은 몸값을 많이 돌려 주어야 하며
  3. 남은 햇수가 적으면 그 햇수에 해당하는 몸값만 지불하면 된다.
  4. 그를 산 주인은 그를 노예처럼 가혹하게 부려먹을 것이 아니라 자기 집에 고용된 품꾼으로 대우해야 한다.
  5. 만일 그가 자기 몸값을 지불할 능력이 없으면 그와 그 자녀들은 희년에 가서야 자유의 몸이 될 것이다.
  1. for the Israelites belong to me as servants. They are my servants, whom I brought out of Egypt. I am the LORD your God.
  1. 너희 이스라엘 백성은 나의 종이다. 이것은 내가 너희를 이집트에서 인도해 낸 너희 하나님 여호와이기 때문이다.'
 
 
  1. " 'Do not make idols or set up an image or a sacred stone for yourselves, and do not place a carved stone in your land to bow down before it. I am the LORD your God.
  2. " 'Observe my Sabbaths and have reverence for my sanctuary. I am the LORD.
  3. " 'If you follow my decrees and are careful to obey my commands,
  4. I will send you rain in its season, and the ground will yield its crops and the trees of the field their fruit.
  5. Your threshing will continue until grape harvest and the grape harvest will continue until planting, and you will eat all the food you want and live in safety in your land.
  1. '너희는 우상을 만들어서는 안된다. 새겨서 만든 것이든 기둥을 세워서 만든 것이든 돌을 다듬어 만든 것이든 그 어떤 신상도 만들지 말라. 그것에 절하지 말아라. 나는 너희 하나님 여호와이다.
  2. 너희는 나의 안식일을 잘 지키고 내 성소를 소중히 여겨라. 나는 여호와이다.
  3. 만일 너희가 내 법의 따라 살고 내 명령에 순종하면
  4. 내가 너희에게 제때에 비를 주어 땅이 풍성한 작물을 내고 나무가 많은 과일을 맺도록 하겠다.
  5. 그러면 너희가 포도를 딸 때까지 추수할 것이며 다시 파종할 때까지 포도를 따낼 것이다. 그리고 너희는 무엇이나 배불리 먹을 것이며 그 땅에서 안전하게 살 수 있을 것이다.
  1. " 'I will grant peace in the land, and you will lie down and no one will make you afraid. I will remove savage beasts from the land, and the sword will not pass through your country.
  2. You will pursue your enemies, and they will fall by the sword before you.
  3. Five of you will chase a hundred, and a hundred of you will chase ten thousand, and your enemies will fall by the sword before you.
  4. " 'I will look on you with favor and make you fruitful and increase your numbers, and I will keep my covenant with you.
  5. You will still be eating last year's harvest when you will have to move it out to make room for the new.
  1. 내가 너희 땅에 평화를 주겠다. 너희는 안심하고 잠잘 수 있을 것이다. 또 내가 사나운 짐승을 쫓아내고 그 땅에 전쟁이 없게 하겠다.
  2. 너희가 대적을 추격할 것이며 그들이 너희 칼에 쓰러질 것이다.
  3. 너희 다섯이 백을, 너희 백이 만을 쫓을 것이니 너희 대적들이 너희 앞에서 칼날에 쓰러질 것이다.
  4. 내가 너희를 보살피고 너희를 신성하게 하며 너희와 맺은 계약을 반드시 지키겠다.
  5. 너희는 추수한 곡식이 너무 많아 새 곡식이 나면 묵은 곡식을 버리게 될 것이다.
  1. I will put my dwelling place among you, and I will not abhor you.
  2. I will walk among you and be your God, and you will be my people.
  3. I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt so that you would no longer be slaves to the Egyptians; I broke the bars of your yoke and enabled you to walk with heads held high.
  4. " 'But if you will not listen to me and carry out all these commands,
  5. and if you reject my decrees and abhor my laws and fail to carry out all my commands and so violate my covenant,
  1. 그리고 내가 너희 가운데 살며 너희를 버리지 않고
  2. 너희와 함께 하여 나는 너희 하나님이 되고 너희는 내 백성이 될 것이다.
  3. 나는 너희가 더 이상 종살이 하지 않도록 너희를 이집트에서 인도해 낸 너희 하나님 여호와이다. 내가 너희 멍에를 꺾어 버리고 너희를 바로 서서 걷게 하였다.
  4. 그러나 만일 너희가 내 말을 듣지 않고 내 명령을 지키지 않으며
  5. 나의 법과 규정을 무시하고 나와 맺은 계약을 어기면
  1. then I will do this to you: I will bring upon you sudden terror, wasting diseases and fever that will destroy your sight and drain away your life. You will plant seed in vain, because your enemies will eat it.
  2. I will set my face against you so that you will be defeated by your enemies; those who hate you will rule over you, and you will flee even when no one is pursuing you.
  3. " 'If after all this you will not listen to me, I will punish you for your sins seven times over.
  4. I will break down your stubborn pride and make the sky above you like iron and the ground beneath you like bronze.
  5. Your strength will be spent in vain, because your soil will not yield its crops, nor will the trees of the land yield their fruit.
  1. 내가 급작스런 공포와 폐병과 열병으로 너희를 벌하겠다. 너희 눈이 어두워지고 너희 생명이 쇠약해질 것이며 너희가 씨를 뿌려도 너희 원수가 먹을 것이므로 아무 소용이 없을 것이다.
  2. 또 내가 너희를 칠 것이니 너희가 너희 대적에게 패할 것이며 너희를 미워하는 자가 너희를 지배할 것이요, 추적하는 자가 없어도 너희가 도망할 것이다.
  3. 그래도 너희가 나에게 불순종하면 내가 너희 벌을 칠 배나 더하여
  4. 너희 교만을 꺾고 하늘을 닫아 비를 내리지 않을 것이며 너희 땅을 철과 같이 굳어지게 할 것이다.
  5. 그러면 너희 수고가 헛될 것이며 너희 땅에는 농산물이 자라지 못하고 나무가 열매를 맺지 못할 것이다.
  1. " 'If you remain hostile toward me and refuse to listen to me, I will multiply your afflictions seven times over, as your sins deserve.
  2. I will send wild animals against you, and they will rob you of your children, destroy your cattle and make you so few in number that your roads will be deserted.
  3. " 'If in spite of these things you do not accept my correction but continue to be hostile toward me,
  4. I myself will be hostile toward you and will afflict you for your sins seven times over.
  5. And I will bring the sword upon you to avenge the breaking of the covenant. When you withdraw into your cities, I will send a plague among you, and you will be given into enemy hands.
  1. 만일 너희가 여전히 버티고 나에게 순종하지 않으면 내가 너희 죄에 대하여 칠 배나 더 무서운 재앙을 내리겠다.
  2. 내가 사나운 짐승을 보낼 것이니 그 짐승들이 너희 자녀를 물어 죽이고 너희 가축을 해칠 것이며 너희 인구는 대폭 줄어들어 거리마저 한산하게 될 것이다.
  3. 너희가 이런 일을 당하고도 나에게 돌아오지 않고 계속 나에게 대항하면
  4. 나도 너희와 맞설 것이며 너희 죄에 대하여 전보다 칠 배나 더 가혹하게 벌하겠다.
  5. 내가 너희 땅에 전쟁을 일으켜 내 계약을 어긴 너희 죄에 대하여 보복할 것이며 너희가 성으로 도망갈지라도 내가 그 가운데 무서운 전염병을 보내고 너희를 원수의 손에 넘길 것이다.
  1. When I cut off your supply of bread, ten women will be able to bake your bread in one oven, and they will dole out the bread by weight. You will eat, but you will not be satisfied.
  2. " 'If in spite of this you still do not listen to me but continue to be hostile toward me,
  3. then in my anger I will be hostile toward you, and I myself will punish you for your sins seven times over.
  4. You will eat the flesh of your sons and the flesh of your daughters.
  5. I will destroy your high places, cut down your incense altars and pile your dead bodies on the lifeless forms of your idols, and I will abhor you.
  1. 그리고 내가 너희에게 양식을 끊을 때 열 여인이 한 화덕에서 빵을 구워 조금씩 떼어 줄 것이며 너희가 먹어도 배부르지 않을 것이다.
  2. 너희가 이런 꼴을 당하고도 여전히 나에게 순종하지 않고 반항하면
  3. 내가 다시 무서운 진노로 너희를 대적하여 전보다 칠 배나 더한 벌을 내릴 것이니
  4. 너무 배가 고파 너희가 자식까지 잡아 먹게 될 것이다.
  5. 또 내가 너희 우상 신전을 헐어 버리고 너희 향단을 찍어 버리며 너희 시체를 그 위에 던지고 너희를 지긋지긋하게 여길 것이다.
  1. I will turn your cities into ruins and lay waste your sanctuaries, and I will take no delight in the pleasing aroma of your offerings.
  2. I will lay waste the land, so that your enemies who live there will be appalled.
  3. I will scatter you among the nations and will draw out my sword and pursue you. Your land will be laid waste, and your cities will lie in ruins.
  4. Then the land will enjoy its sabbath years all the time that it lies desolate and you are in the country of your enemies; then the land will rest and enjoy its sabbaths.
  5. All the time that it lies desolate, the land will have the rest it did not have during the sabbaths you lived in it.
  1. 그리고 내가 너희 성들을 폐허로 만들 것이며 너희 예배처를 헐고 너희 제사를 받지 않을 것이다.
  2. 그가 너희 땅을 황폐하게 할 것이므로 그 땅을 점령해서 사는 너희 원수들이 내가 너희에게 행한 일을 보고 놀랄 것이다.
  3. 내가 너희에게 전쟁을 일으켜 너희를 외국 땅에 흩어 버리겠다. 너희 땅은 황폐하고 너희 성들은 폐허로 변할 것이다.
  4. 그러면 결국 너희가 놀리지 않은 그 땅이 자동적으로 쉬게 될 것이다. 이것은 너희가 외국 땅에서 포로 생활을 하는 동안 너희 땅이 황무지가 될 것이기 때문이다. 그러므로 안식년에 쉬지 못한 그 땅은 이때 쉬게 될 것이다.
  5. (34절과 같음)
  1. " 'As for those of you who are left, I will make their hearts so fearful in the lands of their enemies that the sound of a windblown leaf will put them to flight. They will run as though fleeing from the sword, and they will fall, even though no one is pursuing them.
  2. They will stumble over one another as though fleeing from the sword, even though no one is pursuing them. So you will not be able to stand before your enemies.
  3. You will perish among the nations; the land of your enemies will devour you.
  4. Those of you who are left will waste away in the lands of their enemies because of their sins; also because of their fathers' sins they will waste away.
  1. 그리고 살아 남은 자들에 대해서는 끊임없는 두려움으로 내가 그들의 마음을 약하게 하겠다. 그들은 바람에 흔들리는 나뭇잎 소리에도 놀라 칼날을 피해 도망가는 자처럼 달아날 것이며 쫓는 자가 없어도 엎드러질 것이다.
  2. 그들은 추적하는 자가 없어도 전쟁에서 도망하는 자들처럼 달아나다가 서로 걸려 넘어질 것이다. 그들에게는 대적을 당해 낼 힘이 없을 것이다.
  3. 결국 너희는 외국 땅에서 죽을 것이며 너희 대적의 땅이 너희를 삼킬 것이다.
  4. 그리고 대적의 땅에서 살아 남은 자들은 그들의 죄와 그 조상의 죄 때문에 쇠잔할 것이다.
 
  천답(踐踏, 26:37)  두려움으로 인하여 서로 앞다투어 도망 가다가 넘어져서 밟고 밟히는 상태
