- The LORD said to Moses,
- "Speak to the Israelites and say to them: 'If anyone makes a special vow to dedicate persons to the LORD by giving equivalent values,
- set the value of a male between the ages of twenty and sixty at fifty shekels of silver, according to the sanctuary shekel ;
- and if it is a female, set her value at thirty shekels.
- If it is a person between the ages of five and twenty, set the value of a male at twenty shekels and of a female at ten shekels.

- 여호와께서는 이스라엘 백성에게 전하라고 모세에게 이렇게 말씀하셨다. '만일 어떤 사람이 자신을 나 여호와에게 드리기로 작정하고 특별한 서약을 했으면 그는 성소에서 통용되는 표준 화폐 가치에 따라 다음과 같은 액수의 돈을 대신 바쳐야 한다. 20세 이상 60세 미만은 남자의 경우 은 570그램,

- If it is a person between one month and five years, set the value of a male at five shekels of silver and that of a female at three shekels of silver.
- If it is a person sixty years old or more, set the value of a male at fifteen shekels and of a female at ten shekels.
- If anyone making the vow is too poor to pay the specified amount, he is to present the person to the priest, who will set the value for him according to what the man making the vow can afford.
- " 'If what he vowed is an animal that is acceptable as an offering to the LORD, such an animal given to the LORD becomes holy.
- He must not exchange it or substitute a good one for a bad one, or a bad one for a good one; if he should substitute one animal for another, both it and the substitute become holy.

- 그리고 생후 1개월 이상 5세 미만은 남자의 경우 은 57그램, 여자의 경우 은 34그램을 바쳐야 하며
- 60세 이상은 남자의 경우 은 171그램, 여자의 경우 은 114그램을 바쳐야 한다.
- 그러나 서약한 사람이 너무 가난하여 이만한 돈을 낼 수 없으면 그는 제사장에게 가서 사정을 이야기한 후 제사장이 값을 정하는 대로 바치도록 하라.
- 만일 예물로서 나 여호와에게 드리기로 작정한 것이 동물이면 그것을 반드시 드려야 한다.
- 그 서약은 변경될 수 없으며 서약한 자는 바치기로 되어 있는 그 동물을 다른 동물로 대치할 수가 없다. 만일 그렇게 하면 그 동물들은 둘 다 나 여호와의 것이 될 것이다.

- If what he vowed is a ceremonially unclean animal--one that is not acceptable as an offering to the LORD -the animal must be presented to the priest,
- who will judge its quality as good or bad. Whatever value the priest then sets, that is what it will be.
- If the owner wishes to redeem the animal, he must add a fifth to its value.
- " 'If a man dedicates his house as something holy to the LORD, the priest will judge its quality as good or bad. Whatever value the priest then sets, so it will remain.
- If the man who dedicates his house redeems it, he must add a fifth to its value, and the house will again become his.

- 그러나 그 동물이 부정하여 나 여호와에게 예물로 드릴 수 없는 것이라면 그는 그 동물을 제사장에게 끌고 가야 할 것이며 제사장은 그 동물의 값을 결정해야 한다. 이때 제사장이 매긴 값이 그 동물의 값이 될 것이다.

- 만일 그 주인이 그 동물을 되찾아 가려고 하면 그는 제사장이 매긴 값에 5분의 1을 더 주고 그 동물을 사야 한다.
- 어떤 사람이 자기 집을 구별하여 나 여호와에게 바치고 나서 그것을 되찾으려고 하면 그는 제사장이 매긴 집 값에 5분의 1을 더 주고 사야 한다. 그러면 그 집이 다시 그의 소유가 될 것이다.

- " 'If a man dedicates to the LORD part of his family land, its value is to be set according to the amount of seed required for it--fifty shekels of silver to a homer of barley seed.
- If he dedicates his field during the Year of Jubilee, the value that has been set remains.
- But if he dedicates his field after the Jubilee, the priest will determine the value according to the number of years that remain until the next Year of Jubilee, and its set value will be reduced.
- If the man who dedicates the field wishes to redeem it, he must add a fifth to its value, and the field will again become his.
- If, however, he does not redeem the field, or if he has sold it to someone else, it can never be redeemed.

- 어떤 사람이 자기 밭의 일부를 구별하여 나 여호와에게 바치고자 하면 그 밭에 뿌릴 수 있는 씨앗의 양으로 밭의 크기를 측정하여 가격을 정해야 한다. 만일 그 밭이 보리 220리터를 뿌릴 수 있는 정도의 크기라면 은 570그램으로 그 값을 매기면 된다.
- 그가 희년에 그 밭을 바쳤을 경우 그 밭의 가격은 제사장이 처음에 정한 그대로이지만
- 그 밭을 희년 이후에 바쳤으면 제사장은 다음 희년 까지의 남은 햇수를 계산하여 그 값을 재조정해야 한다.
- 만일 그 사람이 자기가 바친 밭을 되찾으려고 하면 그는 제사장이 정한 밭 값에 5분의 1을 더 주고 사야 한다. 그러면 그 밭은 다시 그의 소유가 될 것이다.
- 그러나 그가 그 밭을 되찾지 않고 다른 사람에게 팔았으면 그는 그 밭을 다시 사들일 권리가 없다.

- When the field is released in the Jubilee, it will become holy, like a field devoted to the LORD; it will become the property of the priests.
- " 'If a man dedicates to the LORD a field he has bought, which is not part of his family land,
- the priest will determine its value up to the Year of Jubilee, and the man must pay its value on that day as something holy to the LORD.
- In the Year of Jubilee the field will revert to the person from whom he bought it, the one whose land it was.
- Every value is to be set according to the sanctuary shekel, twenty gerahs to the shekel.

- 희년이 돌아오면 그 밭은 영영 나 여호와의 소유가 되어 제사장에게 돌아갈 것이다.
- 만일 어떤 사람이 자기 소유가 아닌 다른 사람의 밭을 사서 나 여호와에게 바치려고 하면
- 제사장은 다음 희년까지 남은 햇수를 계산하여 그 밭 값을 매겨야 하며, 그 사람은 그 날로 그 밭값을 나 여호와에게 바쳐야 한다.
- 그리고 희년이 되면 그 밭은 자연히 본래의 소유주에게 돌아가게 될 것이다.
- 그리고 그 모든 값은 성소에서 사용하는 표준 화폐 단위를 기준으로 해야 한다.

- " 'No one, however, may dedicate the firstborn of an animal, since the firstborn already belongs to the LORD; whether an ox or a sheep, it is the LORD's.
- If it is one of the unclean animals, he may buy it back at its set value, adding a fifth of the value to it. If he does not redeem it, it is to be sold at its set value.
- " 'But nothing that a man owns and devotes to the LORD -whether man or animal or family land--may be sold or redeemed; everything so devoted is most holy to the LORD.
- " 'No person devoted to destruction may be ransomed; he must be put to death.
- " 'A tithe of everything from the land, whether grain from the soil or fruit from the trees, belongs to the LORD; it is holy to the LORD.

- 소나 양의 첫새끼는 이미 나 여호와의 것이므로 누구든지 이것을 나에게 예물로 드려서는 안 된다.
- 그러나 그것이 부정하여 나 여호와에게 바칠 수 없는 것이라면 주인은 제사장이 매긴 그 동물의 값에 5분의 1을 더 붙여서 돈을 치르고 그 동물을 자기 소유로 할 수 있다. 하지만 그가 도로 사지 않을 경우에는 제사장이 그것을 다른 사람에게 팔아도 좋다.
- 그러나 나 여호와에게 아주 바친 것은 사람이나 짐승이나 상속받은 토지나 그것이 무엇이든지간에 팔거나 되찾지 못한다. 그것은 영원히 나 여호와의 것이기 때문이다.
- 처형 당하도록 되어 있는 사람은 몸값을 치르고 다시 살릴 수 없다. 그러므로 그런 사람은 반드시 죽여야 한다.
- 곡식이든 과일이든 농산물의 10분의 1은 나 여호와의 것이다.

- If a man redeems any of his tithe, he must add a fifth of the value to it.
- The entire tithe of the herd and flock--every tenth animal that passes under the shepherd's rod--will be holy to the LORD.
- He must not pick out the good from the bad or make any substitution. If he does make a substitution, both the animal and its substitute become holy and cannot be redeemed.' "
- These are the commands the LORD gave Moses on Mount Sinai for the Israelites.

- 만일 어떤 사람이 그 10분의 1을 자기 것으로 사려고 하면 그 값은 표준 싯가에 5분의 1을 더 붙여 지불해야 한다.
- 그리고 모든 가축의 10분의 1도 나 여호와의 것이므로 짐승을 셀 때 열 번째 것은 모두 나 여호와에게 바쳐야 한다.
- 주인은 나쁜 것을 골라 바치려고 짐승을 셀 때 바꿔치기를 해서는 안 된다. 만일 다른 것으로 바꾸면 둘 다 나 여호와의 것이 되어 그가 다시 사들일 수 없을 것이다.'
- 이상은 여호와께서 이스라엘 백성을 위하여 시내산에서 모세에게 주신 계명이다.
