- I love the LORD, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy.
- Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live.
- The cords of death entangled me, the anguish of the grave came upon me; I was overcome by trouble and sorrow.
- Then I called on the name of the LORD : "O LORD, save me!"
- The LORD is gracious and righteous; our God is full of compassion.

- 여호와께서 내 기도를 듣고 응답하시니 내가 그를 사랑하게 되는구나.
- 그가 나에게 귀를 기울이셨으니 내가 평생 기도하리라.
- 사망의 위험이 나를 두르고 무덤의 공포가 나를 덮쳤으므로 나에게 고통과 슬픔이 가득하였다.
- 그때 내가 여호와의 이름을 부르며 '여호와여,내가 주께 간구합니다. 내 생명을 구하소서!' 하였다.
- 여호와는 은혜롭고 의로우시며 우리 하나님은 자비로운 분이시다.

- The LORD protects the simplehearted; when I was in great need, he saved me.
- Be at rest once more, O my soul, for the LORD has been good to you.
- For you, O LORD, have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling,
- that I may walk before the LORD in the land of the living.
- I believed; therefore I said, "I am greatly afflicted."

- 여호와는 순진한 자를 보호하시는 분이시므로 내가 위험에 빠졌을 때 나를 구하셨다.
- 내 영혼아, 이제 너는 안식하여라. 여호와께서 너에게 은혜를 베푸셨다.
- 여호와께서 나를 죽음에서 구하시고 내 눈물을 그치게 하셨으며 내 발이 넘어지지 않게 하셨으니
- 내가 이 생존 세계에서 하나님의 뜻대로 살리라.
- 내가 믿었으므로 말하였다. '나는 큰 고통을 당하고 있다.'

- And in my dismay I said, "All men are liars."
