이사야 23:1-25:12

 이사야는 교만한 두로와 시돈이 하나님의 심판으로 멸망받게 되는데, 두로는 하나님의 권고로 70년 만에 회복되지만 여전히 죄악의 도성으로 남게 될 것이라고 예언하였다. 그리고 최후의 심판의 날에 하나님의 백성들은 구원을 받지만 하나님을 대적하는 교만한 모압은 멸망을 받을 것이라고 예언하였다.
  
  두로의 심판(23:1-23:18)    
 
  1. An oracle concerning Tyre: Wail, O ships of Tarshish! For Tyre is destroyed and left without house or harbor. From the land of Cyprus word has come to them.
  2. Be silent, you people of the island and you merchants of Sidon, whom the seafarers have enriched.
  3. On the great waters came the grain of the Shihor; the harvest of the Nile was the revenue of Tyre, and she became the marketplace of the nations.
  4. Be ashamed, O Sidon, and you, O fortress of the sea, for the sea has spoken: "I have neither been in labor nor given birth; I have neither reared sons nor brought up daughters."
  5. When word comes to Egypt, they will be in anguish at the report from Tyre.
  1. 이것은 두로에 대한 말씀이다. 다시스의 배들아, 통곡하라. 두로가 망하여 집도 없고 항구도 없이 황폐해졌으니 너희가 키프러스에서 들은 소문이 다 사실이다.
  2. 해변의 주민들아, 시돈의 상인들아, 잠잠하라.
  3. 너희가 바다로 이집트 상품을 실어 나르며 세계의 시장 노릇을 해 왔다.
  4. 시돈아, 너는 부끄러워하여라. 바다가 너를 버리며 이렇게 말한다. '나는 아이를 가져 본 적이 없으며 아들이나 딸을 길러 본 일도 없다.'
  5. 두로가 망했다는 소식을 들으면 이집트 사람들도 몹시 충격을 받고 놀랄 것이다.
  1. Cross over to Tarshish; wail, you people of the island.
  2. Is this your city of revelry, the old, old city, whose feet have taken her to settle in far-off lands?
  3. Who planned this against Tyre, the bestower of crowns, whose merchants are princes, whose traders are renowned in the earth?
  4. The LORD Almighty planned it, to bring low the pride of all glory and to humble all who are renowned on the earth.
  5. Till your land as along the Nile, O Daughter of Tarshish, for you no longer have a harbor.
  1. 해변의 주민들아, 너희는 슬피 울며 스페인으로 도망하라.
  2. 이것이 고대에 건설된 화려한 너희 도시냐? 이것이 먼 나라까지 가서 식민지를 개척한 도시란 말이냐?
  3. 많은 식민지를 다스리며 세계 구역의 중심지인 두로에 누가 이런 재앙을 내렸는가?
  4. 전능하신 여호와께서 그렇게 하셨으니 그들의 교만을 꺾고 세상의 존귀한 자들을 낮추기 위해서였다.
  5. 다시스의 배들아, 항해를 계속하라. 너희가 정박할 항구가 없어졌다.
  1. The LORD has stretched out his hand over the sea and made its kingdoms tremble. He has given an order concerning Phoenicia that her fortresses be destroyed.
  2. He said, "No more of your reveling, O Virgin Daughter of Sidon, now crushed! "Up, cross over to Cyprus ; even there you will find no rest."
  3. Look at the land of the Babylonians, this people that is now of no account! The Assyrians have made it a place for desert creatures; they raised up their siege towers, they stripped its fortresses bare and turned it into a ruin.
  4. Wail, you ships of Tarshish; your fortress is destroyed!
  5. At that time Tyre will be forgotten for seventy years, the span of a king's life. But at the end of these seventy years, it will happen to Tyre as in the song of the prostitute:
  1. 여호와께서 바다 위에 손을 펴셔서 세상 나라들을 흔드시며 페니키아의 요새를 파괴하라는 명령을 내리시고
  2. 이렇게 말씀하셨다. '가련한 시돈아, 너의 즐거운 시절은 끝났다. 너의 주민들이 키프러스로 도망갈지라도 거기서 안전하지 못할 것이다.'
  3. 들짐승으로 두로를 짓밟게 한 것은 앗시리아 사람이 아니라 바빌로니아 사람이었다. 그들이 두로를 포위하고 그 궁전을 헐어 폐허가 되게 하였다.
  4. 다시스의 배들아, 통곡하라. 너희와 무역하던 도시가 파괴되었다.
  5. 두로가 한 임금의 수명처럼 70년 동안 잊혀졌다가 그 기간이 지나면 다음과 같은 기생의 노래처럼 될 것이다.
  1. "Take up a harp, walk through the city, O prostitute forgotten; play the harp well, sing many a song, so that you will be remembered."
  2. At the end of seventy years, the LORD will deal with Tyre. She will return to her hire as a prostitute and will ply her trade with all the kingdoms on the face of the earth.
  3. Yet her profit and her earnings will be set apart for the LORD; they will not be stored up or hoarded. Her profits will go to those who live before the LORD, for abundant food and fine clothes.
  1. '잊혀진 기생아, 수금을 가지고 성 안을 돌아다녀라. 훌륭하게 연주하고 많은 노래를 불러 사람들이 다시 너를 기억하게 하라.'
  2. 그 70년이 지나면 여호와께서 두로를 다시 일으켜 이전처럼 무역을 하게 하실 것이나 두로는 온 세계와 음란을 행할 것이다.
  3. 그러나 두로가 무역하여 번 돈은 쌓아 두지 않고 여호와께 바쳐 질 것이며 여호와를 섬기는 자들이 식량과 의복을 사는 데 그 돈을 사용할 날이 있을 것이다.
 
  땅의 심판(24:1-24:23)    
 
  1. See, the LORD is going to lay waste the earth and devastate it; he will ruin its face and scatter its inhabitants-
  2. it will be the same for priest as for people, for master as for servant, for mistress as for maid, for seller as for buyer, for borrower as for lender, for debtor as for creditor.
  3. The earth will be completely laid waste and totally plundered. The LORD has spoken this word.
  4. The earth dries up and withers, the world languishes and withers, the exalted of the earth languish.
  5. The earth is defiled by its people; they have disobeyed the laws, violated the statutes and broken the everlasting covenant.
  1. 여호와께서 땅을 뒤엎어 황폐하게 하시고 그 백성을 흩어 버리실 것이다.
  2. 제사장과 백성이 당하는 일이 똑같을 것이며 종과 주인, 사는 자와 파는 자, 빌려 주는 자와 빌리는 자, 부자와 가난한 자가 다 같은 일을 당하게 될 것이며
  3. 땅은 완전히 황무지가 되고 약탈 당할 것이다. 이것은 여호와께서 하신 말씀이다.
  4. 땅이 마르고 시들어 가며 온 세계가 쇠잔하고 세상의 높은 자들도 쇠약해가고 있다.
  5. 땅이 죄로 더럽혀졌으니 이것은 사람들이 하나님의 법에 불순종하고 그와 맺은 영원한 계약을 어겼기 때문이다.
  1. Therefore a curse consumes the earth; its people must bear their guilt. Therefore earth's inhabitants are burned up, and very few are left.
  2. The new wine dries up and the vine withers; all the merrymakers groan.
  3. The gaiety of the tambourines is stilled, the noise of the revelers has stopped, the joyful harp is silent.
  4. No longer do they drink wine with a song; the beer is bitter to its drinkers.
  5. The ruined city lies desolate; the entrance to every house is barred.
  1. 그래서 하나님은 땅에 저주를 내렸고 사람들은 그 죄의 댓가를 받아 살아 남은 자가 적으며
  2. 포도나무가 시들고 포도즙은 귀하게 되었으며 한때 즐거워하던 자가 이제는 다 슬퍼하게 되었다.
  3. 또 소고를 치고 수금을 타던 음악소리가 그쳤으며
  4. 아무도 흥겹게 노래를 부르면서 포도주를 마실 수 없게 되었고 술맛은 쓰게 되었다.
  5. 도시는 온통 혼란속에 빠져 집집마다 문이 닫히고 출입하는 자가 없으며
  1. In the streets they cry out for wine; all joy turns to gloom, all gaiety is banished from the earth.
  2. The city is left in ruins, its gate is battered to pieces.
  3. So will it be on the earth and among the nations, as when an olive tree is beaten, or as when gleanings are left after the grape harvest.
  4. They raise their voices, they shout for joy; from the west they acclaim the LORD's majesty.
  5. Therefore in the east give glory to the LORD; exalt the name of the LORD, the God of Israel, in the islands of the sea.
  1. 포도주가 없으므로 사람들이 거리에서 소리를 지르고 즐거워하던 사람이 침울해지며 땅에서 기쁨이 사라지고 말았다.
  2. 성이 폐허가 되고 성문이 파괴되었으니
  3. 이런 일이 앞으로 온 세계에 일어날 것이다. 그 상태는 감람나무를 흔들어 그 열매를 완전히 떨어 버리는 것 같고 포도 수확을 하고 나서 그 남은 것까지 다 따내는 것과 같을 것이다.
  4. 그러나 살아 남은 자들이 기뻐서 외칠 것이며 서방에서 여호와의 위엄을 선포하고
  5. 동방에서 그를 찬양할 것이며 해안 지역에 사는 사람들도 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와를 찬양할 것이다.
  1. From the ends of the earth we hear singing: "Glory to the Righteous One." But I said, "I waste away, I waste away! Woe to me! The treacherous betray! With treachery the treacherous betray!"
  2. Terror and pit and snare await you, O people of the earth.
  3. Whoever flees at the sound of terror will fall into a pit; whoever climbs out of the pit will be caught in a snare. The floodgates of the heavens are opened, the foundations of the earth shake.
  4. The earth is broken up, the earth is split asunder, the earth is thoroughly shaken.
  5. The earth reels like a drunkard, it sways like a hut in the wind; so heavy upon it is the guilt of its rebellion that it falls--never to rise again.
  1. 그때 우리는 세계의 가장 먼 지방에서 의로우신 분에게 영광을 돌리는 찬송 소리를 듣게 될 것이다. 그러나 여전히 악이 판을 치고 곳곳에 배신 행위가 있으니 내가 탄식하지 않을 수 없구나.
  2. 세상 사람들아, 들어라! 공포와 함정과 덫이 너희를 기다리고 있다.
  3. 공포를 피하려고 하는 자는 함정에 빠질 것이며 함정에서 올라오는 자는 덫에 걸릴 것이다. 하늘에서 폭우가 쏟아지고 땅의 기초가 흔들릴 것이며
  4. 땅이 깨어지고 갈라져 진동하며
  5. 술 취한 사람처럼 비틀거리고 폭풍 속의 오두막처럼 흔들거릴 것이다. 세상이 죄악에 짓눌리고 있으니 쓰러져 다시는 일어나지 못할 것이다.
  1. In that day the LORD will punish the powers in the heavens above and the kings on the earth below.
  2. They will be herded together like prisoners bound in a dungeon; they will be shut up in prison and be punished after many days.
  3. The moon will be abashed, the sun ashamed; for the LORD Almighty will reign on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, and before its elders, gloriously.
  1. 그 날에 여호와께서 하늘의 타락한 천사들과 땅의 교만한 통치자들을 심판하실 것이다.
  2. 하나님은 그들을 죄수처럼 한 곳에 모아 지하 감옥에 가두어 놓을 것이며 그들은 형벌이 확정될 때까지 거기에 머물러 있게 될 것이다.
  3. 그때 전능하신 여호와께서 시온산과 예루살렘에서 왕이 되어 자기 백성의 장로들 앞에서 영광스럽게 다스리실 것이며 그와 같은 영광 때문에 해와 달이 무색할 것이다.
 
  감사의 찬양(25:1-25:12)    
 
  1. O LORD, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done marvelous things, things planned long ago.
  2. You have made the city a heap of rubble, the fortified town a ruin, the foreigners' stronghold a city no more; it will never be rebuilt.
  3. Therefore strong peoples will honor you; cities of ruthless nations will revere you.
  4. You have been a refuge for the poor, a refuge for the needy in his distress, a shelter from the storm and a shade from the heat. For the breath of the ruthless is like a storm driving against a wall
  5. and like the heat of the desert. You silence the uproar of foreigners; as heat is reduced by the shadow of a cloud, so the song of the ruthless is stilled.
  1. 여호와여, 주는 나의 하나님이십니다. 내가 주를 높이고 주의 이름을 찬양하겠습니다. 주는 놀라운 일을 행하셨습니다. 주께서는 오래 전에 계획하신 일을 성실하게 수행하셨습니다.
  2. 주는 도시를 폐허가 되게 하시고 요새를 파괴하시며 우리 원수들이 지은 궁들이 영원히 사라지게 하셨습니다.
  3. 그러므로 강한 민족들이 주를 찬양할 것이며 무자비한 민족들이 주를 두려워할 것입니다.
  4. 주는 가난하고 힘없는 자들이 어려움에 처했을 때 그들의 보호자가 되시고 그들에게 폭풍을 피하는 피신처가 되셨으며 따가운 햇볕을 가려 주는 그늘이 되셨습니다. 잔인한 사람들이 벽을 내리치는 폭풍이나
  5. 사막의 열기와 같아도 주는 그들을 잠잠하게 하십니다. 구름으로 뜨거운 햇볕을 가리듯이 주께서 무자비한 자들의 떠들어대는 입을 막으실 것입니다.
  1. On this mountain the LORD Almighty will prepare a feast of rich food for all peoples, a banquet of aged wine-- the best of meats and the finest of wines.
  2. On this mountain he will destroy the shroud that enfolds all peoples, the sheet that covers all nations;
  3. he will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign LORD will wipe away the tears from all faces; he will remove the disgrace of his people from all the earth. The LORD has spoken.
  4. In that day they will say, "Surely this is our God; we trusted in him, and he saved us. This is the LORD, we trusted in him; let us rejoice and be glad in his salvation."
  5. The hand of the LORD will rest on this mountain; but Moab will be trampled under him as straw is trampled down in the manure.
  1. 이 곳 시온산에서 세계의 모든 민족을 위해 전능하신 여호와께서 가장 맛있는 포도주와 음식으로 잔치를 베푸실 것이며
  2. 온 인류를 덮고 있는 슬픔의 구름을 걷어 버리시고
  3. 죽음을 영원히 없애 버리실 것이다. 주 여호와께서 모든 사람의 눈에서 눈물을 닦아 주시며 온 세상에서 자기 백성의 수치를 없애 버리실 것이다. 이것은 여호와께서 하신 말씀이다.
  4. 그때 사람들이 이렇게 말할 것이다. '그는 우리의 하나님이시다. 우리가 그를 의지하므로 그가 우리를 구원하셨다. 그는 우리가 의지하는 여호와이시다! 그가 우리를 구원하셨으니 이제 기뻐하고 즐거워하자.'
  5. 여호와께서 시온산을 보호하실 것이나 모압 사람들은 거름더미에서 지푸라기가 짓밟히듯 짓밟힐 것이다.
  1. They will spread out their hands in it, as a swimmer spreads out his hands to swim. God will bring down their pride despite the cleverness of their hands.
  2. He will bring down your high fortified walls and lay them low; he will bring them down to the ground, to the very dust.
  1. 그들이 헤엄치듯이 손을 뻗쳐 헤어나오려고 하지만 하나님은 그들을 누르시고 그들의 교만한 콧대를 꺾으실 것이며
  2. 모압의 높은 성벽을 헐어 땅바닥의 흙무더기처럼 되게 하실 것이다.
