예레미야 22:1-23:32

 하나님께서는 유다 말기 왕들인 여호아하스, 여호야김, 여호야긴이 하나님의 말씀을 떠나 악행을 저질러 심판받게 되었다고 말씀하셨다. 그리고 하나님께서 불의한 목자들을 폐하시고 다윗 왕가를 통해 의로운 목자를 세우실 것과 범죄한 유다의 거짓 선지자들이 재앙을 받게 될 것을 선포하셨다.
  
  악한 왕들의 심판(22:1-22:30)    
 
  1. This is what the LORD says: "Go down to the palace of the king of Judah and proclaim this message there:
  2. 'Hear the word of the LORD, O king of Judah, you who sit on David's throne--you, your officials and your people who come through these gates.
  3. This is what the LORD says: Do what is just and right. Rescue from the hand of his oppressor the one who has been robbed. Do no wrong or violence to the alien, the fatherless or the widow, and do not shed innocent blood in this place.
  4. For if you are careful to carry out these commands, then kings who sit on David's throne will come through the gates of this palace, riding in chariots and on horses, accompanied by their officials and their people.
  5. But if you do not obey these commands, declares the LORD, I swear by myself that this palace will become a ruin.' "
  1. 여호와께서 나에게 유다 궁전으로 내려가서
  2. 다윗의 왕위에 앉은 유다 왕과 그 신하들과 궁전 문으로 들어오는 예루살렘 사람들에게 이렇게 전하라고 말씀하셨다.
  3. '너희는 옳고 공정한 일을 행하며 강탈당한 자를 억압자의 손에서 건지고 외국인과 고아와 과부를 압박하거나 학대하지 말며 이 곳에서 죄 없는 자의 피를 흘리지 말아라.
  4. 만일 너희가 내 명령대로 하면 다윗의 왕위를 계승하는 왕들이 전차와 말을 타고 신하들과 백성들과 함께 이 궁전 문을 드나들 것이다.
  5. 그러나 내가 맹세하지만 만일 너희가 내 말을 듣지 않으면 이 궁전은 폐허가 되고 말 것이다.'
  1. For this is what the LORD says about the palace of the king of Judah: "Though you are like Gilead to me, like the summit of Lebanon, I will surely make you like a desert, like towns not inhabited.
  2. I will send destroyers against you, each man with his weapons, and they will cut up your fine cedar beams and throw them into the fire.
  3. "People from many nations will pass by this city and will ask one another, 'Why has the LORD done such a thing to this great city?'
  4. And the answer will be: 'Because they have forsaken the covenant of the LORD their God and have worshiped and served other gods.' "
  5. Do not weep for the dead king or mourn his loss; rather, weep bitterly for him who is exiled, because he will never return nor see his native land again.
  1. 유다 궁전에 대하여 여호와께서 말씀하셨다. '네가 나에게 길르앗 땅과 레바논 숲처럼 아름다울지라도 내가 너를 사람이 살지 않는 황폐한 곳으로 만들어 버릴 것이다.
  2. 너를 파괴할 자들을 내가 보내겠다. 그들이 각자 손에 연장을 들고 너의 아름다운 백향목 기둥을 찍어 불에 던져 넣을 것이다.
  3. 많은 외국 사람들이 이 성을 지나가면서 '어째서 여호와께서는 이 큰 성에 이렇게 하셨는가?' 하고 서로 물을 것이며
  4. 대답하는 자는 '그들이 자기들의 하나님 여호와와 맺은 계약을 어기고 다른 신들에게 절하며 섬겼기 때문이다.' 하고 말할 것이다.'
  5. 유다 백성들아, 너희는 죽은 자를 위해 울거나 슬퍼하지 말고 차라리 잡혀간 자를 위해 울고 슬퍼하여라 그는 돌아와서 고국 땅을 다시 보지 못할 것이다.
  1. For this is what the LORD says about Shallum son of Josiah, who succeeded his father as king of Judah but has gone from this place: "He will never return.
  2. He will die in the place where they have led him captive; he will not see this land again."
  3. "Woe to him who builds his palace by unrighteousness, his upper rooms by injustice, making his countrymen work for nothing, not paying them for their labor.
  4. He says, 'I will build myself a great palace with spacious upper rooms.' So he makes large windows in it, panels it with cedar and decorates it in red.
  5. "Does it make you a king to have more and more cedar? Did not your father have food and drink? He did what was right and just, so all went well with him.
  1. 자기 아버지인 요시야왕을 계승하여 유다 왕이 되었다가 포로로 잡혀간 여호아하스에 대하여 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨다. '그가 돌아오지 못하고
  2. 잡혀간 곳에서 죽을 것이며 이 땅을 다시 보지 못할 것이다.
  3. 부정한 방법으로 자기 집을 짓고 다락방을 증축하며 인부를 고용하고 임금을 주지 않는 자에게는 화가 있을 것이다.
  4. 그는 '내가 넓은 다락이 있는 큰 저택을 짓겠다.' 하며 큰 창문을 만들고 온 집 안을 백향목으로 입혀 거기에 붉은 색을 칠한다.
  5. 네가 백향목으로 많은 집을 짓는다고 해서 더 좋은 왕이 될 수 있겠느냐? 너의 아버지가 마음껏 먹고 마시며 인생을 즐기지 않았느냐? 그가 모든 일을 바르고 공정하게 처리했기 때문에 번영을 누렸다.
  1. He defended the cause of the poor and needy, and so all went well. Is that not what it means to know me?" declares the LORD.
  2. "But your eyes and your heart are set only on dishonest gain, on shedding innocent blood and on oppression and extortion."
  3. Therefore this is what the LORD says about Jehoiakim son of Josiah king of Judah: "They will not mourn for him: 'Alas, my brother! Alas, my sister!' They will not mourn for him: 'Alas, my master! Alas, his splendor!'
  4. He will have the burial of a donkey-- dragged away and thrown outside the gates of Jerusalem."
  5. "Go up to Lebanon and cry out, let your voice be heard in Bashan, cry out from Abarim, for all your allies are crushed.
  1. 그가 가난하고 어려운 처지에 있는 사람들의 문제를 해결해 주고 모든 일을 잘 처리해 나갔으니 이것은 나 여호와를 알았기 때문이 아니냐?
  2. 그러나 네 눈과 마음은 사욕을 채우고 죄 없는 자의 피를 흘리며 백성들을 탄압하고 착취하는 데만 쏠리고 있다.'
  3. 그러므로 유다 왕 요시야의 아들인 여호야김에 대하여 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨다. '그의 죽음을 애석하게 여겨 슬프다! 내 형제여, 슬프다! 내 친구여 하거나 내 주여! 내 왕이여! 하고 부르짖고 통곡할 자가 아무도 없을 것이다.
  4. 사람들은 그의 시체를 죽은 당나귀처럼 예루살렘 문 밖으로 끌고 나가서 아무 데나 던져 버릴 것이다.'
  5. '예루살렘 주민들아, 너희는 레바논에 올라가서 외치며 바산에서 소리를 지르고 아바림에서 외쳐라. 너희를 사랑하는 자들이 다 멸망하였다.
  1. I warned you when you felt secure, but you said, 'I will not listen!' This has been your way from your youth; you have not obeyed me.
  2. The wind will drive all your shepherds away, and your allies will go into exile. Then you will be ashamed and disgraced because of all your wickedness.
  3. You who live in 'Lebanon, ' who are nestled in cedar buildings, how you will groan when pangs come upon you, pain like that of a woman in labor!
  4. "As surely as I live," declares the LORD, "even if you, Jehoiachin son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, were a signet ring on my right hand, I would still pull you off.
  5. I will hand you over to those who seek your life, those you fear--to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and to the Babylonians.
  1. 너희가 안전할 때에 내가 너희에게 경고하였으나 너희는 '내가 듣지 않겠습니다.' 하였다. 너희는 어렸을 때부터 나에게 순종하지 않는 것이 습관화되어 있었다.
  2. 너희 지도자들은 다 바람에 날아갈 것이며 너희 동맹국들도 포로로 잡혀갈 것이다. 그때 너희는 너희가 행한 모든 악 때문에 수치와 모욕을 당할 것이다.
  3. 레바논의 백향목으로 잘 지은 궁전에서 안락하게 사는 자여, 해산하는 여인의 고통과 같은 고통이 너에게 밀어닥칠 때 네 신세가 참으로 가련할 것이다.'
  4. 여호와께서 말씀하셨다. '유다 왕 여호야김의 아들 여호야긴아, 내가 분명히 말하지만 네가 내 오른손의 인장 반지라 할지라도 내가 빼어서
  5. 네가 두려워하는 자, 곧 너를 죽이려는 바빌로니아의 느부갓네살왕과 그 군대에게 줄 것이다.
  1. I will hurl you and the mother who gave you birth into another country, where neither of you was born, and there you both will die.
  2. You will never come back to the land you long to return to."
  3. Is this man Jehoiachin a despised, broken pot, an object no one wants? Why will he and his children be hurled out, cast into a land they do not know?
  4. O land, land, land, hear the word of the LORD!
  5. This is what the LORD says: "Record this man as if childless, a man who will not prosper in his lifetime, for none of his offspring will prosper, none will sit on the throne of David or rule anymore in Judah."
  1. 내가 너와 너를 낳은 네 어머니를 너희가 태어나지 않은 다른 나라로 던져 버리겠다. 너희는 모두 거기서 죽고
  2. 돌아오고 싶은 고국 땅으로 되돌아오지 못할 것이다.'
  3. 이 사람 여호야긴이 천하고 깨어진 그릇인가? 아무도 갖고 싶어하지 않는 물건인가? 어째서 그와 그 자녀들이 쫓겨나서 알지 못하는 땅으로 들어갔는가?
  4. 땅이여, 땅이여, 땅이여! 여호와의 말씀을 들어라.
  5. 너희는 이 사람을 자식 없고 평생에 성공하지 못할 사람으로 기록하라. 그의 자손들 중에 다윗의 왕위에 앉아 유다를 다스릴 자가 없을 것이다.'
 
  메시아와 거짓 선지자들(23:1-23:32)    
 
  1. "Woe to the shepherds who are destroying and scattering the sheep of my pasture!" declares the LORD.
  2. Therefore this is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says to the shepherds who tend my people: "Because you have scattered my flock and driven them away and have not bestowed care on them, I will bestow punishment on you for the evil you have done," declares the LORD.
  3. "I myself will gather the remnant of my flock out of all the countries where I have driven them and will bring them back to their pasture, where they will be fruitful and increase in number.
  4. I will place shepherds over them who will tend them, and they will no longer be afraid or terrified, nor will any be missing," declares the LORD.
  5. "The days are coming," declares the LORD, "when I will raise up to David a righteous Branch, a King who will reign wisely and do what is just and right in the land.
  1. 여호와께서 말씀하신다. '내 목장의 양떼를 해치고 흩어 버리는 목자들에게 화가 있을 것이다.
  2. 이스라엘의 하나님 나 여호와가 내 백성을 기르는 목자들에게 말한다. 너희는 나의 양떼를 흩어 버리고 몰아내며 돌보지 않았다. 그러므로 너희가 행한 악에 대하여 내가 너희에게 벌을 내리겠다.
  3. 내가 세계 여러 나라로 흩어 버린 남은 내 백성을 다시 모아 고국으로 돌아오게 할 것이니 그들이 많은 자녀를 낳고 번성할 것이다.
  4. 내가 그들을 돌볼 목자들을 세워 그들이 다시는 두려워하거나 놀라거나 그 수가 줄어드는 일이 없도록 하겠다. 이것은 나 여호와의 말이다.'
  5. 여호와께서 다시 말씀하신다. '때가 되면 내가 다윗의 후손 가운데 한 의로운 자를 일으킬 것이다. 그가 왕이 되어 지혜롭게 다스리며 세상에서 공정하고 옳은 일을 행할 것이다.
  1. In his days Judah will be saved and Israel will live in safety. This is the name by which he will be called: The LORD Our Righteousness.
  2. "So then, the days are coming," declares the LORD, "when people will no longer say, 'As surely as the LORD lives, who brought the Israelites up out of Egypt,'
  3. but they will say, 'As surely as the LORD lives, who brought the descendants of Israel up out of the land of the north and out of all the countries where he had banished them.' Then they will live in their own land."
  4. Concerning the prophets: My heart is broken within me; all my bones tremble. I am like a drunken man, like a man overcome by wine, because of the LORD and his holy words.
  5. The land is full of adulterers; because of the curse the land lies parched and the pastures in the desert are withered. The prophets follow an evil course and use their power unjustly.
  1. 그때 유다는 구원을 얻고 이스라엘은 안전하게 살 것이며 그의 이름은 '여호와 우리의 의'라고 불려질 것이다.
  2. 그때 사람들은 '이스라엘 백성을 이집트에서 인도해 내신 살아 계신 여호와'란 말로 맹세하지 않고
  3. '이스라엘 백성을 북쪽 땅과 그들이 쫓겨간 모든 나라에서 인도해 내신 살아 계신 여호와'란 말로 맹세할 것이며 그들은 자기들의 땅에서 살게 될 것이다.'
  4. 거짓 예언자들 때문에 내 마음이 상하고 내 모든 뼈가 떨리는구나. 내가 여호와와 그의 거룩한 말씀 때문에 술취한 사람처럼 되었고 포도주에 사로잡힌 사람처럼 되었다.
  5. 이 땅에 간음하는 자들이 가득하구나. 여호와의 저주로 땅이 슬퍼하고 광야의 푸른 풀들이 마르고 있으니 이것은 예언자들이 악을 행하고 그들의 권력을 남용하기 때문이다.
  1. "Both prophet and priest are godless; even in my temple I find their wickedness," declares the LORD.
  2. "Therefore their path will become slippery; they will be banished to darkness and there they will fall. I will bring disaster on them in the year they are punished," declares the LORD.
  3. "Among the prophets of Samaria I saw this repulsive thing: They prophesied by Baal and led my people Israel astray.
  4. And among the prophets of Jerusalem I have seen something horrible: They commit adultery and live a lie. They strengthen the hands of evildoers, so that no one turns from his wickedness. They are all like Sodom to me; the people of Jerusalem are like Gomorrah."
  5. Therefore, this is what the LORD Almighty says concerning the prophets: "I will make them eat bitter food and drink poisoned water, because from the prophets of Jerusalem ungodliness has spread throughout the land."
  1. 여호와께서 말씀하신다. '예언자들과 제사장들이 다 더럽혀졌으니 내가 성전에서도 그들의 악을 발견하였다.
  2. 그러므로 그들의 길이 미끄럽고 어두워서 그들은 넘어지고 말 것이다. 그들을 벌할 때가 되면 내가 그들에게 재앙을 내리겠다. 이것은 나 여호와의 말이다.
  3. 내가 사마리아 예언자들 가운데서도 역겨운 일을 보았다. 그들이 바알의 이름으로 예언하고 내 백성 이스라엘을 잘못된 길로 인도하였다.
  4. 나는 또 예루살렘 예언자들 가운데서도 끔찍한 일을 보았다. 그들은 간음하고 거짓말할 뿐만 아니라 악을 행하는 자를 그 죄에서 돌아서게 하지 않고 오히려 그들을 격려하고 칭찬하였다. 그래서 그들은 나에게 소돔 사람과 같고 예루살렘 주민은 고모라 사람과 같다.
  5. 그러므로 전능한 나 여호와가 그 예언자들에 대하여 말한다. 보라, 내가 그들에게 쓴 것을 먹이고 독물을 마시게 하겠다. 이것은 이 땅을 악으로 물들게 한 것이 바로 그들이기 때문이다.'
  1. This is what the LORD Almighty says: "Do not listen to what the prophets are prophesying to you; they fill you with false hopes. They speak visions from their own minds, not from the mouth of the LORD.
  2. They keep saying to those who despise me, 'The LORD says: You will have peace.' And to all who follow the stubbornness of their hearts they say, 'No harm will come to you.'
  3. But which of them has stood in the council of the LORD to see or to hear his word? Who has listened and heard his word?
  4. See, the storm of the LORD will burst out in wrath, a whirlwind swirling down on the heads of the wicked.
  5. The anger of the LORD will not turn back until he fully accomplishes the purposes of his heart. In days to come you will understand it clearly.
  1. 전능하신 여호와께서 말씀하신다. '너희는 예언자들이 하는 말을 듣지 말아라. 그들은 너희에게 헛된 희망을 불어넣어 주고 있다. 그들의 예언은 자기들 멋대로 생각해 낸 것이며 나 여호와의 입에서 나온 것이 아니다.
  2. 그들은 나를 멸시하는 자들에게 언제나 '여호와께서 말씀하셨다. 너희는 평안할 것이다.' 하며 또 자기 마음의 악한 고집대로 행하는 자들에게는 '아무런 해도 너희에게 미치지 않을 것이다.' 하고 말한다.
  3. 그러나 이 예언자들 중에 누가 나 여호와의 은밀한 생각을 알며 내 말을 귀담아 듣고 이해하였는가?
  4. 보라, 나 여호와가 폭풍과 회오리바람 같은 분노로 악인들의 머리를 칠 것이다.
  5. 나 여호와의 분노는 내 마음에 뜻한 것을 다 이룰 때까지 그치지 않을 것이니 앞으로 너희가 이것을 분명히 깨달을 것이다.
  1. I did not send these prophets, yet they have run with their message; I did not speak to them, yet they have prophesied.
  2. But if they had stood in my council, they would have proclaimed my words to my people and would have turned them from their evil ways and from their evil deeds.
  3. "Am I only a God nearby," declares the LORD, "and not a God far away?
  4. Can anyone hide in secret places so that I cannot see him?" declares the LORD. "Do not I fill heaven and earth?" declares the LORD.
  5. "I have heard what the prophets say who prophesy lies in my name. They say, 'I had a dream! I had a dream!'
  1. 이 예언자들은 내가 보내지도 않았는데 돌아다니며, 내가 그들에게 아무 말도 하지 않았는데 예언하였다.
  2. 그들이 만일 나의 은밀한 생각을 알았더라면 내 백성들에게 내 말을 선포하여 그들을 악한 길과 악한 행위에서 돌아서게 했을 것이다.'
  3. 여호와께서 말씀하신다. '나는 한 곳에만 있는 하나님이 아니라 어디든지 있는 하나님이다.
  4. 내가 볼 수 없도록 은밀한 곳에 숨을 자가 누구냐? 나는 하늘과 땅 어느 곳에나 존재한다는 것을 모르느냐?
  5. 나는 내 이름으로 거짓을 예언하는 자들이 '내가 꿈을 꾸었다. 내가 꿈을 꾸었다.' 하고 말하는 소리를 들었다.
  1. How long will this continue in the hearts of these lying prophets, who prophesy the delusions of their own minds?
  2. They think the dreams they tell one another will make my people forget my name, just as their fathers forgot my name through Baal worship.
  3. Let the prophet who has a dream tell his dream, but let the one who has my word speak it faithfully. For what has straw to do with grain?" declares the LORD.
  4. "Is not my word like fire," declares the LORD, "and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?
  5. "Therefore," declares the LORD, "I am against the prophets who steal from one another words supposedly from me.
  1. 이 거짓 예언자들이 언제까지 이런 식으로 예언할 것인가? 그들은 자기들 멋대로 지어낸 거짓말로 예언하는 자들이다.
  2. 그들은 자기 조상들이 바알 때문에 나를 잊어버린 것처럼 자기들이 서로 말하는 꿈 이야기로 내 백성들이 나를 잊도록 하려고 한다.
  3. 꿈을 꾼 예언자는 그 꿈을 말하게 하고 내 말을 받은 예언자는 내 말을 성실히 말하게 하라. 겨와 알곡이 어찌 같겠느냐?
  4. 내 말이 불 같지 않은가? 바위를 쳐서 부수는 망치 같지 않은가?
  5. 그러므로 자기들끼리 서로 말을 받아 '여호와께서 말씀하셨다.' 하고 혀를 놀리는 예언자들을 내가 치겠다.
  1. Yes," declares the LORD, "I am against the prophets who wag their own tongues and yet declare, 'The LORD declares.'
  2. Indeed, I am against those who prophesy false dreams," declares the LORD. "They tell them and lead my people astray with their reckless lies, yet I did not send or appoint them. They do not benefit these people in the least," declares the LORD.
  1. (30절과 같음)
  2. 나 여호와가 말한다. 보라, 거짓된 꿈을 말하고 거짓말과 헛된 자랑으로 내 백성을 미혹하는 자를 내가 칠 것이나 나는 그들을 보내지도 않았고 명령하지도 않았다. 그들은 이 백성들에게 아무런 도움도 되지 않는다. 이것은 나 여호와의 말이다.'
 
  고가(雇價, 22:13)  품꾼이 일해서 받는 품삯  
  의로운 가지( 23:5)  장차 다윗의 왕위를 계승할 의로운 통치자이신 그리스도를 상징함
