예레미야 30:1-31:26

 하나님께서는 약속대로 유다가 포로 상태에서 회복될 것과 그들을 징계하던 대적들이 하나님의 심판으로 진멸될 것이라고 말씀하셨다. 그리고 이스라엘도 멸망 후 고난 속에서 마음을 돌이키고 회개하여 야웨께로 돌아오게 될 것을 말씀하셨다. 특히 메시아를 통해 야웨와 그 백성간에 새로운 언약이 성립될 것을 예고하셨다.
  
  이스라엘과 유다의 회복(30:1-31:26)    
 
  1. This is the word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD :
  2. "This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: 'Write in a book all the words I have spoken to you.
  3. The days are coming,' declares the LORD, 'when I will bring my people Israel and Judah back from captivity and restore them to the land I gave their forefathers to possess,' says the LORD."
  4. These are the words the LORD spoke concerning Israel and Judah:
  5. "This is what the LORD says: " 'Cries of fear are heard-- terror, not peace.
  1. 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와께서 나에게 말씀하셨다. '너는 내가 너에게 말해 준 모든 것을 책에 기록하라.
  2. (1절과 같음)
  3. 내가 내 백성 이스라엘과 유다를 포로 생활에서 해방시켜 그들을 내가 그 조상들에게 준 땅으로 돌아오게 할 날이 다가오고 있으니 그들이 그 땅을 다시 소유할 것이다.'
  4. 이것은 여호와께서 이스라엘과 유다에 관하여 하신 말씀이다.
  5. '들리는 것은 불안과 공포의 소리뿐, 평안함이 없구나.
  1. Ask and see: Can a man bear children? Then why do I see every strong man with his hands on his stomach like a woman in labor, every face turned deathly pale?
  2. How awful that day will be! None will be like it. It will be a time of trouble for Jacob, but he will be saved out of it.
  3. " 'In that day,' declares the LORD Almighty, 'I will break the yoke off their necks and will tear off their bonds; no longer will foreigners enslave them.
  4. Instead, they will serve the LORD their God and David their king, whom I will raise up for them.
  5. " 'So do not fear, O Jacob my servant; do not be dismayed, O Israel,' declares the LORD. 'I will surely save you out of a distant place, your descendants from the land of their exile. Jacob will again have peace and security, and no one will make him afraid.
  1. 남자가 아이를 낳을 수 있는지 물어 보아라. 해산하는 여자처럼 남자들이 창백한 얼굴로 허리에 손을 짚고 다니는 것은 무슨 꼴인가?
  2. 비할 데 없는 무서운 날이 다가오고 있으니 내 백성이 당할 환난의 때이다. 그러나 그들은 그 환난에서 구원을 받을 것이다.'
  3. 전능하신 여호와께서 다시 말씀하신다. '그 날이 내가 내 백성의 목에 있는 멍에를 꺾어 버리고 그들의 쇠사슬을 끊어 버리겠다. 외국인들이 다시는 그들을 종으로 부려먹지 못하고
  4. 오히려 그들의 하나님 나 여호와를 섬기고 또 내가 그들을 위해 왕으로 세울 다윗의 후손을 섬길 것이다.'
  5. 그러므로 여호와께서 말씀하신다. '내 백성아, 두려워하지 말아라. 이스라엘아, 놀라지 말아라. 내가 너희를 멀리 포로 된 땅에서 구해 내겠다. 너희가 다시 고국으로 돌아와 평화롭고 안전하게 살 것이니 너희를 두렵게 할 자가 없을 것이다.
  1. I am with you and will save you,' declares the LORD. 'Though I completely destroy all the nations among which I scatter you, I will not completely destroy you. I will discipline you but only with justice; I will not let you go entirely unpunished.'
  2. "This is what the LORD says: " 'Your wound is incurable, your injury beyond healing.
  3. There is no one to plead your cause, no remedy for your sore, no healing for you.
  4. All your allies have forgotten you; they care nothing for you. I have struck you as an enemy would and punished you as would the cruel, because your guilt is so great and your sins so many.
  5. Why do you cry out over your wound, your pain that has no cure? Because of your great guilt and many sins I have done these things to you.
  1. 내가 너희와 함께 하여 너희를 구원하겠다. 내가 너희를 흩어 보낸 그 나라들은 완전히 없애 버려도 너희만은 전멸시키지 않겠다. 그러나 내가 너희를 정당하게 징계할 것이며 너희를 전혀 벌하지 않은 채 그대로 내버려 두지는 않을 것이다.'
  2. 여호와께서 말씀하신다. '너희 상처는 고칠 수 없고 너희 부상은 치료할 수 없을 만큼 중상이다.
  3. 너희를 도와 줄 자가 없고 너희 상처를 낫게 할 약이 없으며 너희를 고칠 희망이 없다.
  4. 너희를 사랑하는 자들이 다 너희를 잊고 너희를 찾지 않는다. 내가 너희를 원수처럼 상하게 하고 잔인할 정도로 너희를 가혹하게 벌하는 것은 너희 죄가 크고 너희 허물이 많기 때문이다.
  5. 너희가 어째서 너희 상처에 대하여 부르짖는가? 너희 고통은 해소될 수 없을 것이다. 너희 죄가 크고 많으므로 내가 너희에게 이런 벌을 내렸다.
  1. " 'But all who devour you will be devoured; all your enemies will go into exile. Those who plunder you will be plundered; all who make spoil of you I will despoil.
  2. But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,' declares the LORD, 'because you are called an outcast, Zion for whom no one cares.'
  3. "This is what the LORD says: " 'I will restore the fortunes of Jacob's tents and have compassion on his dwellings; the city will be rebuilt on her ruins, and the palace will stand in its proper place.
  4. From them will come songs of thanksgiving and the sound of rejoicing. I will add to their numbers, and they will not be decreased; I will bring them honor, and they will not be disdained.
  5. Their children will be as in days of old, and their community will be established before me; I will punish all who oppress them.
  1. 그러나 너희를 삼키는 자는 모두 삼킴을 당할 것이며 너희 원수들은 다 포로가 되고 너희를 착취하는 자는 착취를 당할 것이며 너희를 약탈하는 자는 다 약탈을 당할 것이다.
  2. 너희가 버림을 당하고 보살펴 주는 자가 없는 시온이 되었다고 너희 원수들이 말할지라도 내가 너희를 치료하여 너희 상처를 고쳐주겠다.'
  3. 여호와께서 다시 말씀하신다. '내가 내 백성을 원상태로 회복시키고 그들이 사는 곳에 자비를 베풀겠다. 예루살렘은 폐허가 된 그 곳이 재건되고 궁전은 본래 있던 곳에 설 것이며
  4. 감사하는 소리와 즐거워하는 소리가 여기저기서 들릴 것이다. 내가 그들을 번성하게 하고 영화롭게 할 것이니 그들이 쇠하거나 비참하게 되지 않을 것이다.
  5. 그들의 자녀들은 옛날처럼 융성할 것이며 그들의 공동체는 튼튼한 기반을 다지게 될 것이다. 누구든지 그들을 못 살게 구는 자들을 내가 다 벌하겠다.
  1. Their leader will be one of their own; their ruler will arise from among them. I will bring him near and he will come close to me, for who is he who will devote himself to be close to me?' declares the LORD.
  2. " 'So you will be my people, and I will be your God.' "
  3. See, the storm of the LORD will burst out in wrath, a driving wind swirling down on the heads of the wicked.
  4. The fierce anger of the LORD will not turn back until he fully accomplishes the purposes of his heart. In days to come you will understand this.
  1. 그들의 지도자가 그들 민족 중에서 나오고 그들의 통치자가 그들 가운데서 나올 것이다. 내가 그를 가까이 오게 하면 그가 나에게 다가올 것이다. 그렇지 않고서야 누가 감히 나에게 접근할 수 있겠는가?
  2. 그들은 내 백성이 되고 나는 그들의 하나님이 될 것이다.'
  3. 보라, 여호와의 분노가 휘몰아치는 폭풍처럼 악인들의 머리를 칠 것이다.
  4. 여호와의 분노는 그가 마음에 뜻한 것을 이루실 때까지 그치지 않을 것이니 앞으로 너희가 이것을 깨닫게 될 것이다.
 
 
  1. "At that time," declares the LORD, "I will be the God of all the clans of Israel, and they will be my people."
  2. This is what the LORD says: "The people who survive the sword will find favor in the desert; I will come to give rest to Israel."
  3. The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying: "I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness.
  4. I will build you up again and you will be rebuilt, O Virgin Israel. Again you will take up your tambourines and go out to dance with the joyful.
  5. Again you will plant vineyards on the hills of Samaria; the farmers will plant them and enjoy their fruit.
  1. 여호와께서 말씀하신다. '그 때에 내가 이스라엘 모든 가족의 하나님이 되고 그들은 내 백성이 될 것이다.
  2. 이스라엘 백성이 안식을 찾아갈 때에 광야에서 칼날을 피한 자들이 은혜를 얻었다.
  3. 그때 나 여호와는 이스라엘 백성에게 나타나 '내가 영원한 사랑으로 너희를 사랑하였으므로 한결같은 사랑으로 너희를 인도하였다.' 하고 말하였다.
  4. 이스라엘 백성아, 내가 다시 너희를 일으켜 세우겠다. 너희가 소고를 들고 즐겁게 춤출 것이다.
  5. 너희가 다시 사마리아 산에 포도나무를 심을 것이며 그것을 심은 자가 그 과일을 먹을 것이다.
  1. There will be a day when watchmen cry out on the hills of Ephraim, 'Come, let us go up to Zion, to the LORD our God.' "
  2. This is what the LORD says: "Sing with joy for Jacob; shout for the foremost of the nations. Make your praises heard, and say, 'O LORD, save your people, the remnant of Israel.'
  3. See, I will bring them from the land of the north and gather them from the ends of the earth. Among them will be the blind and the lame, expectant mothers and women in labor; a great throng will return.
  4. They will come with weeping; they will pray as I bring them back. I will lead them beside streams of water on a level path where they will not stumble, because I am Israel's father, and Ephraim is my firstborn son.
  5. "Hear the word of the LORD, O nations; proclaim it in distant coastlands: 'He who scattered Israel will gather them and will watch over his flock like a shepherd.'
  1. 에브라임 산에서 파수꾼들이 '자, 시온으로 올라가서 우리 하나님 여호와께 나아가자!' 하고 외칠 날이 올 것이다.'
  2. 여호와께서 다시 말씀하신다. '너희는 이스라엘을 위해 기쁨으로 노래하라. 세계에서 가장 위대한 나라를 위해 외쳐라. 너희는 이렇게 선포하며 찬양하라. '여호와께서 자기 백성을 구원하시고 남은 자를 다 구출하셨다.'
  3. 보라, 내가 그들을 북쪽 땅에서 인도해 내고 그들을 땅 끝에서부터 모을 것이니 소경과 절뚝발이와 임신부와 해산할 여인들과 함께 그들이 큰 민족이 되어 돌아올 것이다.
  4. 그들은 돌아올 때 기쁨의 눈물을 흘리며 기도할 것이요 나는 그들이 넘어지지 않도록 그들을 평탄한 시냇가의 길로 인도할 것이다. 이것은 내가 이스라엘의 아버지이며 에브라임은 나의 장남이기 때문이다.
  5. 모든 민족들아, 너희는 나 여호와의 말을 듣고 먼 해안 지역에 전파하라. '이스라엘 백성을 흩으신 자가 그들을 모으시고 목자가 자기 양떼를 지키듯이 그들을 지키실 것이다.'
  1. For the LORD will ransom Jacob and redeem them from the hand of those stronger than they.
  2. They will come and shout for joy on the heights of Zion; they will rejoice in the bounty of the LORD-- the grain, the new wine and the oil, the young of the flocks and herds. They will be like a well-watered garden, and they will sorrow no more.
  3. Then maidens will dance and be glad, young men and old as well. I will turn their mourning into gladness; I will give them comfort and joy instead of sorrow.
  4. I will satisfy the priests with abundance, and my people will be filled with my bounty," declares the LORD.
  5. This is what the LORD says: "A voice is heard in Ramah, mourning and great weeping, Rachel weeping for her children and refusing to be comforted, because her children are no more."
  1. 나 여호와가 이스라엘을 해방시키고 그들을 강한 자의 손에서 구할 것이다.
  2. 그들은 돌아와 시온산에서 기쁨으로 노래할 것이며 나의 선물인 곡식과 새 포도주와 기름과 양떼와 소떼를 보고 기뻐할 것이다. 그들은 물을 댄 동산 같아서 다시는 걱정할 일이 없을 것이다.
  3. 그때 처녀들이 춤을 추고 기뻐할 것이며 청년들과 노인들이 함께 즐거워할 것이다. 나는 그들의 슬픔이 변하여 기쁨이 되게 하고 그들을 위로하여 근심 대신 기쁨을 주겠다.
  4. 내가 제사장들에게 풍성한 것으로 채우며 내 백성들을 나의 좋은 것으로 만족하게 할 것이다. 이것은 나 여호와의 말이다.'
  5. 여호와께서 말씀하신다. '라마에서 한 소리가 들리니 슬퍼하고 통곡하는 소리이다. 라헬이 자식을 잃고 슬퍼하며 위로 받기를 거절하는구나.'
  1. This is what the LORD says: "Restrain your voice from weeping and your eyes from tears, for your work will be rewarded," declares the LORD. "They will return from the land of the enemy.
  2. So there is hope for your future," declares the LORD. "Your children will return to their own land.
  3. "I have surely heard Ephraim's moaning: 'You disciplined me like an unruly calf, and I have been disciplined. Restore me, and I will return, because you are the LORD my God.
  4. After I strayed, I repented; after I came to understand, I beat my breast. I was ashamed and humiliated because I bore the disgrace of my youth.'
  5. Is not Ephraim my dear son, the child in whom I delight? Though I often speak against him, I still remember him. Therefore my heart yearns for him; I have great compassion for him," declares the LORD.
  1. 여호와께서 다시 말씀하신다. '너는 울음을 그치고 눈물을 거두어라. 네 일이 보상받을 것이며 네 자식들이 원수의 땅에서 돌아올 것이다.
  2. 너의 미래에 희망이 있을 것이니 그들이 고향 땅으로 돌아올 것이다. 이것은 나 여호와의 말이다.
  3. 나는 에브라임이 이렇게 탄식하는 소리를 들었다. '주께서 나를 징계하시므로 내가 길들지 않은 송아지처럼 징계를 받았습니다. 주는 나의 하나님 여호와이십니다. 나를 회복시키소서. 그러면 내가 돌아가겠습니다.
  4. 나는 주를 떠난 후에 곧 뉘우쳤고 깨달은 후에는 가슴을 치며 슬퍼했습니다. 나는 젊었을 때 지은 죄로 창피해서 견딜 수 없었습니다.'
  5. 에브라임은 나의 사랑하는 아들이요 기뻐하는 자식이 아니냐? 내가 가끔 그를 꾸짖긴 하지만 나는 여전히 그를 기억하고 있다. 그러므로 내 마음이 그를 그리워하게 되니 내가 그를 불쌍히 여길 것이다. 이것은 나 여호와의 말이다.
  1. "Set up road signs; put up guideposts. Take note of the highway, the road that you take. Return, O Virgin Israel, return to your towns.
  2. How long will you wander, O unfaithful daughter? The LORD will create a new thing on earth-- a woman will surround a man."
  3. This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: "When I bring them back from captivity, the people in the land of Judah and in its towns will once again use these words: 'The LORD bless you, O righteous dwelling, O sacred mountain.'
  4. People will live together in Judah and all its towns--farmers and those who move about with their flocks.
  5. I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint."
  1. 처녀 이스라엘아, 너를 위해 도로 표지판을 세우고 안내판을 세워라. 그래서 네가 가는 길을 눈여겨 보았다가 돌아오너라. 네 성으로 돌아오너라.
  2. 신실치 못한 딸아, 네가 언제까지 방황하겠느냐? 나 여호와가 이 땅에 새로운 일이 일어나게 할 것이니 여자가 남자를 둘러싸고 보호하는 것과 같은 아주 색다른 일이다.
  3. 전능하신 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 말씀하신다. '내가 포로들을 다시 그들의 땅으로 돌아오게 할 때에 그들이 유다 땅과 그 모든 성에서 다시 이런 말을 쓸 것이다. '의의 처소여, 거룩한 산이여, 여호와께서 너를 축복하시기 원하노라.'
  4. 그리고 백성들이 유다와 그 모든 성에 함께 살 것이며 거기는 농부들과 양떼를 인도하는 목자들도 있을 것이다.
  5. 내가 피곤한 자를 상쾌하게 하고 지쳐있는 자를 만족하게 하겠다.'
  1. At this I awoke and looked around. My sleep had been pleasant to me.
  1. 이때 나는 깨어나 단잠을 자고 난 것을 알게 되었다.
