에스겔 34:17-36:15

 하나님께서는 거짓 목자들을 심판하시고 양떼를 공의로 다스리시며 메시아를 보내 주셔서 화평의 언약을 세우실 것을 약속하셨다. 그리고 이스라엘의 회복을 위해 이스라엘을 괴롭히던 에돔을 멸망시킬 것도 선언하셨다. 이스라엘은 땅을 빼앗김으로 수치를 당했으나, 야웨께서 그 땅을 되찾아 주셔서 그 백성들로 거하게 하실 것을 예고하셨다.
  
  참 목자의 통치와 언약(34:17-34:31)    
 
  1. " 'As for you, my flock, this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will judge between one sheep and another, and between rams and goats.
  2. Is it not enough for you to feed on the good pasture? Must you also trample the rest of your pasture with your feet? Is it not enough for you to drink clear water? Must you also muddy the rest with your feet?
  3. Must my flock feed on what you have trampled and drink what you have muddied with your feet?
  4. " 'Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says to them: See, I myself will judge between the fat sheep and the lean sheep.
  5. Because you shove with flank and shoulder, butting all the weak sheep with your horns until you have driven them away,
  1. 나 주 여호와가 말한다. 나의 양떼들아, 내가 너희 하나하나를 심판하여 수양과 수염소를 갈라 놓을 것이다.
  2. 너희가 좋은 꼴 먹은 것을 하찮은 일로 생각하느냐? 어째서 남은 꼴을 발로 짓밟느냐? 너희 중에는 맑은 물 마시는 것도 대수롭지 않게 여겨 남은 물을 발로 더럽히는 자들이 있다.
  3. 그래서 나의 다른 양들이 너희 발로 짓밟은 풀을 먹고 너희 발로 더럽힌 물을 마시고 있다.
  4. 그러므로 나 주 여호와가 너희에게 말한다. 내가 살진 양과 여윈 양 사이에 심판할 것이다.
  5. 너희가 옆구리와 어깨로 밀고 뿔로 받아 병든 자를 밖으로 몰아내고 있다.
  1. I will save my flock, and they will no longer be plundered. I will judge between one sheep and another.
  2. I will place over them one shepherd, my servant David, and he will tend them; he will tend them and be their shepherd.
  3. I the LORD will be their God, and my servant David will be prince among them. I the LORD have spoken.
  4. " 'I will make a covenant of peace with them and rid the land of wild beasts so that they may live in the desert and sleep in the forests in safety.
  5. I will bless them and the places surrounding my hill. I will send down showers in season; there will be showers of blessing.
  1. 그러나 내가 내 양을 구출하고 그들이 더 이상 희생물이 되지 않게 하겠다. 내가 내 양을 하나하나 심판하여 좋은 양과 나쁜 양을 가려낼 것이다.
  2. 내가 내 종 다윗과 같은 목자를 세워 내 백성을 다스리게 하겠다. 그가 그들을 먹이고 그들의 목자가 될 것이다.
  3. 나 여호와는 그들의 하나님이 되고 내 종 다윗과 같은 그 목자는 그들의 왕이 될 것이다. 이것은 나 여호와의 말이다.
  4. 내가 또 그들과 평화의 계약을 맺고 그 땅에서 맹수를 제거하여 그들이 빈 들에서 안전하게 살고 숲속에서도 마음 놓고 잘 수 있게 하겠다.
  5. 내가 그들에게 복을 주고 내 산 주변 일대에도 축복하며 때를 따라 비를 내릴 것이니 그것이 축복의 단비가 될 것이다.
  1. The trees of the field will yield their fruit and the ground will yield its crops; the people will be secure in their land. They will know that I am the LORD, when I break the bars of their yoke and rescue them from the hands of those who enslaved them.
  2. They will no longer be plundered by the nations, nor will wild animals devour them. They will live in safety, and no one will make them afraid.
  3. I will provide for them a land renowned for its crops, and they will no longer be victims of famine in the land or bear the scorn of the nations.
  4. Then they will know that I, the LORD their God, am with them and that they, the house of Israel, are my people, declares the Sovereign LORD.
  5. You my sheep, the sheep of my pasture, are people, and I am your God, declares the Sovereign LORD.' "
  1. 그리고 들의 나무가 열매를 맺고 땅이 농작물을 낼 것이며 그들은 그 땅에서 안전할 것이다. 내가 그들의 사슬을 끊고 그들을 종으로 삼은 자들의 손에서 그들을 구출해 낼 때 그들이 나를 여호와인 줄 알 것이다.
  2. 그들이 다시는 이방 나라에게 약탈을 당하거나 들짐승의 밥이 되지 않고 안전하게 살 것이며 그들을 놀라게 할 사람이 없을 것이다.
  3. 내가 그들에게 비옥한 땅을 주겠다. 그러면 그들이 다시는 그 땅에서 기근을 겪지 않고 이방 나라의 모욕을 당하지 않을 것이다.
  4. 그 때에는 그들이 자기들의 하나님인 나 여호와가 그들과 함께 있는 것을 알고 자기들이 내 백성임을 알 것이다. 이것은 나 주 여호와의 말이다.
  5. 내 목장의 양떼인 너희는 내 백성이며 나는 너희 하나님이다. 이것은 나 주 여호와의 말이다.'
 
  에돔의 멸망(35:1-35:15)    
 
  1. The word of the LORD came to me:
  2. "Son of man, set your face against Mount Seir; prophesy against it
  3. and say: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am against you, Mount Seir, and I will stretch out my hand against you and make you a desolate waste.
  4. I will turn your towns into ruins and you will be desolate. Then you will know that I am the LORD.
  5. " 'Because you harbored an ancient hostility and delivered the Israelites over to the sword at the time of their calamity, the time their punishment reached its climax,
  1. 여호와께서 나에게 말씀하셨다.
  2. '사람의 아들아, 너는 에돔을 향해 책망하고 예언하라.
  3. 너는 그에게 나 주 여호와가 이렇게 말한다고 일러 주어라. '에돔아,내가 너를 대적한다. 내가 손을 펴고 너를 쳐서 황무지로 만들어 버리겠다.
  4. 내가 네 성들을 폐허로 만들고 너를 황폐하게 할 것이니 네가 나를 여호와인 줄 알 것이다.
  5. 네가 옛날부터 원한을 품고 이스라엘 백성이 자기들의 죄 때문에 벌을 받아 재난을 당할 때 그들을 칼날에 넘겨 주었다.
  1. therefore as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, I will give you over to bloodshed and it will pursue you. Since you did not hate bloodshed, bloodshed will pursue you.
  2. I will make Mount Seir a desolate waste and cut off from it all who come and go.
  3. I will fill your mountains with the slain; those killed by the sword will fall on your hills and in your valleys and in all your ravines.
  4. I will make you desolate forever; your towns will not be inhabited. Then you will know that I am the LORD.
  5. " 'Because you have said, "These two nations and countries will be ours and we will take possession of them," even though I the LORD was there,
  1. 그러므로 나 주 여호와가 분명히 말하지만 내가 너를 죽음에 넘기겠다. 네가 피 흘리기를 좋아하였으므로 피가 너를 따를 것이다.
  2. 내가 너를 황무지가 되게 하고 네 땅을 왕래하는 자들을 다 죽여 버릴 것이다.
  3. 내가 시체로 네 산을 메울 것이니 칼날에 죽은 자들이 너의 산등성과 골짜기와 시내에 엎드러질 것이다.
  4. 내가 너를 영원히 황폐하게 하여 다시는 네 성에 사람이 살지 못하게 하겠다. 그제서야 네가 나를 여호와인줄 알 것이다.
  5. 너는 내가 유다와 이스라엘 땅에 있는데도 이 두 민족이 너에게 속할 것이며 그 땅은 너의 소유가 될 것이라고 말하였다.
  1. therefore as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, I will treat you in accordance with the anger and jealousy you showed in your hatred of them and I will make myself known among them when I judge you.
  2. Then you will know that I the LORD have heard all the contemptible things you have said against the mountains of Israel. You said, "They have been laid waste and have been given over to us to devour."
  3. You boasted against me and spoke against me without restraint, and I heard it.
  4. This is what the Sovereign LORD says: While the whole earth rejoices, I will make you desolate.
  5. Because you rejoiced when the inheritance of the house of Israel became desolate, that is how I will treat you. You will be desolate, O Mount Seir, you and all of Edom. Then they will know that I am the LORD.' "
  1. 그러므로 나 주 여호와가 분명히 말한다. 네가 내 백성을 미워하여 보인 분노와 질투에 대하여 내가 너를 벌할 것이며 내가 너를 심판할 때에 그들에게 나를 알릴 것이다.
  2. 너는 이스라엘 산들이 황폐하여 네가 삼킬 밥이 되었다고 말하였으나 내가 너를 심판할 때에 너는 나 여호와가 너의 그 모욕적인 말을 들었다는 사실을 알게 될 것이다.
  3. 네가 나를 대적하여 자랑하며 떠들어 대는 말을 나는 다 들었다.
  4. 나 주 여호와가 말하지만 내가 너를 황폐하게 할 때에 온 세상이 즐거워할 것이다.
  5. 네가 이스라엘 백성의 땅이 황폐한 것을 보고 즐거워한 것같이 나도 너에게 그렇게 하겠다. 에돔아, 내가 너의 모든 땅을 황폐하게 하겠다. 그러면 모든 사람이 내가 여호와임을 알 것이다.'
 
  이스라엘의 회복(36:1-36:15)    
 
  1. "Son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel and say, 'O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the LORD.
  2. This is what the Sovereign LORD says: The enemy said of you, "Aha! The ancient heights have become our possession." '
  3. Therefore prophesy and say, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Because they ravaged and hounded you from every side so that you became the possession of the rest of the nations and the object of people's malicious talk and slander,
  4. therefore, O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Sovereign LORD : This is what the Sovereign LORD says to the mountains and hills, to the ravines and valleys, to the desolate ruins and the deserted towns that have been plundered and ridiculed by the rest of the nations around you-
  5. this is what the Sovereign LORD says: In my burning zeal I have spoken against the rest of the nations, and against all Edom, for with glee and with malice in their hearts they made my land their own possession so that they might plunder its pastureland.'
  1. '사람의 아들아, 너는 이스라엘 산들에게 예언하고 말하라. : 이스라엘 산들아, 여호와의 말씀을 들어라.
  2. 주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨다. '너희 대적이 너희를 비웃고 옛날의 높은 산들이 자기들 것이라고 말하였다.'
  3. 그러므로 너는 예언하라. 너는 그들에게 나 주 여호와가 이렇게 말하다고 외쳐라. '그들이 너희를 황폐하게 하고 너희를 사방에서 약탈하여 너희를 다른 이방 민족의 소유가 되게 하고 세상 사람들의 비웃음과 놀림감이 되게 하였다.
  4. 그러므로 이스라엘 산들아, 너희는 나 주 여호와의 말을 들어라. 내가 산과 산등성과 시내와 골짜기와 황폐한 폐허와 너희 주변의 이방 민족들이 약탈하고 조롱하던 버려진 성들에게 말한다.
  5. 내가 불타는 질투로 이방 민족, 특별히 에돔을 책망하는 것은 그들이 기뻐하고 경멸하는 마음으로 내 땅을 빼앗고 약탈하여 자기들의 소유로 삼았기 때문이다.'
  1. Therefore prophesy concerning the land of Israel and say to the mountains and hills, to the ravines and valleys: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I speak in my jealous wrath because you have suffered the scorn of the nations.
  2. Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I swear with uplifted hand that the nations around you will also suffer scorn.
  3. " 'But you, O mountains of Israel, will produce branches and fruit for my people Israel, for they will soon come home.
  4. I am concerned for you and will look on you with favor; you will be plowed and sown,
  5. and I will multiply the number of people upon you, even the whole house of Israel. The towns will be inhabited and the ruins rebuilt.
  1. 그러므로 너는 이스라엘 땅에 대하여 예언하라. 너는 산과 산등성과 시내와 골짜기에 대하여 나 주 여호와가 이렇게 말한다고 외쳐라. '너희가 이방 민족 앞에서 수치를 당하였으므로 내가 질투와 분노로 말한다.
  2. 나 주 여호와가 분명히 말하지만 너희 주변에 있는 민족들도 수치를 당할 것이다.
  3. 그러나 너희 이스라엘 산들아, 너희는 가지를 내고 내 백성 이스라엘을 위해 열매를 맺을 것이다. 그들이 곧 고국으로 돌아올 때가 되었다.
  4. 내가 관심을 가지고 너희를 돌아보겠다. 사람이 너희를 갈고 작물을 심을 것이다.
  5. 또 내가 너희와 온 이스라엘 땅에 인구를 증가시켜 그들이 모든 성에 살게 하고 폐허가 된 곳을 재건하게 할 것이다.
  1. I will increase the number of men and animals upon you, and they will be fruitful and become numerous. I will settle people on you as in the past and will make you prosper more than before. Then you will know that I am the LORD.
  2. I will cause people, my people Israel, to walk upon you. They will possess you, and you will be their inheritance; you will never again deprive them of their children.
  3. " 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Because people say to you, "You devour men and deprive your nation of its children,"
  4. therefore you will no longer devour men or make your nation childless, declares the Sovereign LORD.
  5. No longer will I make you hear the taunts of the nations, and no longer will you suffer the scorn of the peoples or cause your nation to fall, declares the Sovereign LORD.' "
  1. 내가 너희 위에 사람과 짐승을 많게 하여 번성하게 하겠다. 내가 옛날처럼 사람들이 너희 위에 살게하여 너희를 이전보다 더 번창하게 할 것이니 그때 너희가 나를 여호와인 줄 알 것이다.
  2. 내가 내 백성 이스라엘 사람들을 너희 위에 걸어다니게 하겠다. 그들은 너희를 소유하고 너희는 그들의 재산이 될 것이며 너희 때문에 그들이 자녀를 잃는 일이 다시는 없을 것이다.
  3. 나 주 여호와가 말한다. 이방 민족들이 너희가 사람을 삼키고 너희 나라 백성을 없애 버렸다고 말하고 있다.
  4. 그러나 이제부터는 너희가 다시는 사람을 삼키지 않으며 너희 나라 백성을 없애지 않을 것이다. 이것은 나 주 여호와의 말이다.
  5. 나는 너희가 더 이상 이방 나라의 조롱하는 소리를 듣지 않게 하고 온 세상의 수치를 당하지 않게 하며 너희 때문에 너희 나라가 망하는 일이 다시는 없도록 하겠다. 이것은 나 주 여호와의 말이다.'
