창세기 5:1-6:22

 아담에서 노아까지의 계보가 기록되어 있다. 땅 위에 사람들이 번성함에 따라 죄악이 만연하게 되었다. 이를 한탄하신 하나님께서는 홍수로 세상을 멸하기로 작정하시고 의인 노아에게 홍수를 피할 수 있는 방주를 만들 것을 명령하셨다.
  
  노아까지의 계보(5:1-5:32)    
 
  1. This is the written account of Adam's line. When God created man, he made him in the likeness of God.
  2. He created them male and female and blessed them. And when they were created, he called them "man. "
  3. When Adam had lived 130 years, he had a son in his own likeness, in his own image; and he named him Seth.
  4. After Seth was born, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters.
  5. Altogether, Adam lived 930 years, and then he died.
  1. 아담의 역사는 이러하다. 하나님이 사람을 창조하실 때에, 하나님의 형상대로 사람을 만드셨다.
  2. 하나님은 그들을 남자와 여자로 창조하셨다. 그들을 창조하시던 날에, 하나님은 그들에게 복을 주시고, 그들의 이름을 '사람'이라고 하셨다.
  3. 아담은 백서른 살에 자기의 형상 곧 자기의 모습을 닮은 아이를 낳고, 이름을 셋이라고 하였다.
  4. 아담은 셋을 낳은 뒤에, 팔백 년을 살면서 아들딸을 낳았다.
  5. 아담은 모두 구백삼십 년을 살고 죽었다.
  1. When Seth had lived 105 years, he became the father of Enosh.
  2. And after he became the father of Enosh, Seth lived 807 years and had other sons and daughters.
  3. Altogether, Seth lived 912 years, and then he died.
  4. When Enosh had lived 90 years, he became the father of Kenan.
  5. And after he became the father of Kenan, Enosh lived 815 years and had other sons and daughters.
  1. 셋은 백다섯 살에 에노스를 낳았다.
  2. 셋은 에노스를 낳은 뒤에, 팔백칠 년을 살면서 아들딸을 낳았다.
  3. 셋은 모두 구백십이 년을 살고 죽었다.
  4. 에노스는 아흔 살에 게난을 낳았다.
  5. 에노스는 게난을 낳은 뒤에, 팔백십오 년을 살면서 아들딸을 낳았다.
  1. Altogether, Enosh lived 905 years, and then he died.
  2. When Kenan had lived 70 years, he became the father of Mahalalel.
  3. And after he became the father of Mahalalel, Kenan lived 840 years and had other sons and daughters.
  4. Altogether, Kenan lived 910 years, and then he died.
  5. When Mahalalel had lived 65 years, he became the father of Jared.
  1. 에노스는 모두 구백오 년을 살고 죽었다.
  2. 게난은 일흔 살에 마할랄렐을 낳았다.
  3. 게난은 마할랄렐을 낳은 뒤에, 팔백사십 년을 살면서 아들딸을 낳았다.
  4. 게난은 모두 구백십 년을 살고 죽었다.
  5. 마할랄렐은 예순다섯 살에 야렛을 낳았다.
  1. And after he became the father of Jared, Mahalalel lived 830 years and had other sons and daughters.
  2. Altogether, Mahalalel lived 895 years, and then he died.
  3. When Jared had lived 162 years, he became the father of Enoch.
  4. And after he became the father of Enoch, Jared lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters.
  5. Altogether, Jared lived 962 years, and then he died.
  1. 마할랄렐은 야렛을 낳은 뒤에, 팔백삼십 년을 살면서 아들딸을 낳았다.
  2. 마할랄렐은 모두 팔백구십오 년을 살고 죽었다.
  3. 야렛은 백예순두 살에 에녹을 낳았다.
  4. 야렛은 에녹을 낳은 뒤에, 팔백 년을 살면서 아들딸을 낳았다.
  5. 야렛은 모두 구백육십이 년을 살고 죽었다.
  1. When Enoch had lived 65 years, he became the father of Methuselah.
  2. And after he became the father of Methuselah, Enoch walked with God 300 years and had other sons and daughters.
  3. Altogether, Enoch lived 365 years.
  4. Enoch walked with God; then he was no more, because God took him away.
  5. When Methuselah had lived 187 years, he became the father of Lamech.
  1. 에녹은 예순다섯 살에 므두셀라를 낳았다.
  2. 에녹은 므두셀라를 낳은 뒤에, 삼백 년 동안 하나님과 동행하면서 아들딸을 낳았다.
  3. 에녹은 모두 삼백육십오 년을 살았다.
  4. 에녹은 하나님과 동행하다가 사라졌다. 하나님이 그를 데려가신 것이다.
  5. 므두셀라는 백여든일곱 살에 라멕을 낳았다.
  1. And after he became the father of Lamech, Methuselah lived 782 years and had other sons and daughters.
  2. Altogether, Methuselah lived 969 years, and then he died.
  3. When Lamech had lived 182 years, he had a son.
  4. He named him Noah and said, "He will comfort us in the labor and painful toil of our hands caused by the ground the LORD has cursed."
  5. After Noah was born, Lamech lived 595 years and had other sons and daughters.
  1. 므두셀라는 라멕을 낳은 뒤에, 칠백팔십이 년을 살면서 아들딸을 낳았다.
  2. 므두셀라는 모두 구백육십구 년을 살고 죽었다.
  3. 라멕은 백여든두 살에 아들을 낳았다.
  4. 그는 아들의 이름을 노아라고 짓고 말하였다. "주님께서 저주하신 땅 때문에, 우리가 수고하고 고통을 겪어야 하는데, 이 아들이 우리를 위로할 것이다."

  1. Altogether, Lamech lived 777 years, and then he died.
  2. After Noah was 500 years old, he became the father of Shem, Ham and Japheth.
  1. 라멕은 모두 칠백칠십칠 년을 살고 죽었다.
  2. 노아는 오백 살이 지나서, 셈과 함과 야벳을 낳았다.
 
  죄의 확산과 심판(6:1-6:22)    
 
  1. When men began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them,
  2. the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose.
  3. Then the LORD said, "My Spirit will not contend with man forever, for he is mortal ; his days will be a hundred and twenty years."
  4. The Nephilim were on the earth in those days--and also afterward--when the sons of God went to the daughters of men and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.
  5. The LORD saw how great man's wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time.
  1. 사람들이 땅 위에 늘어나기 시작하더니, 그들에게서 딸들이 태어났다.
  2. 하나님의 아들들이 사람의 딸들의 아름다움을 보고, 저마다 자기들의 마음에 드는 여자를 아내로 삼았다.
  3. 주님께서 말씀하셨다. "생명을 주는 나의 영이 사람 속에 영원히 머물지는 않을 것이다. 사람은 살과 피를 지닌 육체요, 그들의 날은 백이십 년이다."
  4. 그 무렵에, 그 후에도 얼마 동안, 땅 위에는 네피림이라고 하는 거인족이 있었다. 그들은 하나님의 아들들과 사람의 딸들 사이에서 태어난 자식들이었다. 그들은 옛날에 있던 용사들로서 유명한 사람들이었다.
  5. 주님께서는, 사람의 죄악이 세상에 가득 차고, 마음에 생각하는 모든 계획이 언제나 악한 것뿐임을 보시고서,
  1. The LORD was grieved that he had made man on the earth, and his heart was filled with pain.
  2. So the LORD said, "I will wipe mankind, whom I have created, from the face of the earth--men and animals, and creatures that move along the ground, and birds of the air--for I am grieved that I have made them."
  3. But Noah found favor in the eyes of the LORD.
  4. This is the account of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked with God.
  5. Noah had three sons: Shem, Ham and Japheth.
  1. 땅 위에 사람 지으셨음을 후회하시며 마음 아파 하셨다.
  2. 주님께서는 탄식하셨다. "내가 창조한 것이지만, 사람을 이 땅 위에서 쓸어 버리겠다. 사람뿐 아니라, 짐승과 땅 위를 기어다니는 것과 공중의 새까지 그렇게 하겠다. 그것들을 만든 것이 후회되는구나."
  3. 그러나 노아만은 주님께 은혜를 입었다.
  4. 노아의 역사는 이러하다. 노아는 그 당대에 의롭고 흠이 없는 사람이었다. 노아는 하나님과 동행하는 사람이었다.
  5. 노아는 셈과 함과 야벳, 이렇게 세 아들을 두었다.
  1. Now the earth was corrupt in God's sight and was full of violence.
  2. God saw how corrupt the earth had become, for all the people on earth had corrupted their ways.
  3. So God said to Noah, "I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth.
  4. So make yourself an ark of cypress wood; make rooms in it and coat it with pitch inside and out.
  5. This is how you are to build it: The ark is to be 450 feet long, 75 feet wide and 45 feet high.
  1. 하나님이 보시니, 세상이 썩었고, 무법천지가 되어 있었다.
  2. 하나님이 땅을 보시니, 썩어 있었다. 살과 피를 지니고 땅 위에서 사는 모든 사람들의 삶이 속속들이 썩어 있었다.
  3. 하나님이 노아에게 말씀하셨다. "땅은 사람들 때문에 무법천지가 되었고, 그 끝날이 이르렀으니, 내가 반드시 사람과 땅을 함께 멸하겠다.
  4. 너는 잣나무로 방주 한 척을 만들어라. 방주 안에 방을 여러 칸 만들고, 역청을 안팎에 칠하여라.
  5. 그 방주는 이렇게 만들어라. 길이는 삼백 자, 너비는 쉰 자, 높이는 서른 자로 하고,
  1. Make a roof for it and finish the ark to within 18 inches of the top. Put a door in the side of the ark and make lower, middle and upper decks.
  2. I am going to bring floodwaters on the earth to destroy all life under the heavens, every creature that has the breath of life in it. Everything on earth will perish.
  3. But I will establish my covenant with you, and you will enter the ark--you and your sons and your wife and your sons' wives with you.
  4. You are to bring into the ark two of all living creatures, male and female, to keep them alive with you.
  5. Two of every kind of bird, of every kind of animal and of every kind of creature that moves along the ground will come to you to be kept alive.
  1. 그 방주에는 지붕을 만들되, 한 자 치켜올려서 덮고, 방주의 옆쪽에는 출입문을 내고, 위층과 가운데층과 아래층으로 나누어서 세 층으로 만들어라.
  2. 내가 이제 땅 위에 홍수를 일으켜서, 하늘 아래에서 살아 숨쉬는 살과 피를 지닌 모든 것을 쓸어 없앨 터이니, 땅에 있는 것들은 모두 죽을 것이다.
  3. 그러나 너하고는, 내가 직접 언약을 세우겠다. 너는 아들들과 아내와 며느리들을 모두 데리고 방주로 들어가거라.
  4. 살과 피를 지닌 모든 짐승도 수컷과 암컷으로 한 쌍씩 방주로 데리고 들어가서, 너와 함께 살아 남게 하여라.
  5. 새도 그 종류대로, 집짐승도 그 종류대로, 땅에 기어다니는 온갖 길짐승도 그 종류대로, 모두 두 마리씩 너에게로 올 터이니, 살아 남게 하여라.
  1. You are to take every kind of food that is to be eaten and store it away as food for you and for them."
  2. Noah did everything just as God commanded him.
  1. 그리고 너는 먹을 수 있는 모든 먹거리를 가져다가 쌓아 두어라. 이것은, 너와 함께 있는 사람들과 짐승들의 먹거리가 될 것이다."
  2. 노아는 하나님이 명하신 대로 다 하였다. 꼭 그대로 하였다.
 
  관영(貫盈, 6:5)  넓게 퍼져 가득 참  
  패괴(悖壞, 6:11)  ‘썩다’, ‘타락하다’라는 뜻으로, 수치심 없이 공개적으로 범죄하는 것을 말함
