마태복음 21:33-22:14

 예수님은 악한 농부의 비유와 혼인 잔치의 비유를 통해서 예수님의 재림하시는 심판주 되심을 밝히신 동시에 하나님의 구원의 초청을 거부한 이스라엘 백성을 책망하셨다.
  
  혼인 잔치의 비유(21:33-22:14)    
 
  1. "Listen to another parable: There was a landowner who planted a vineyard. He put a wall around it, dug a winepress in it and built a watchtower. Then he rented the vineyard to some farmers and went away on a journey.
  2. When the harvest time approached, he sent his servants to the tenants to collect his fruit.
  3. "The tenants seized his servants; they beat one, killed another, and stoned a third.
  4. Then he sent other servants to them, more than the first time, and the tenants treated them the same way.
  5. Last of all, he sent his son to them. 'They will respect my son,' he said.
  1. "다른 비유를 하나 들어보아라. 어떤 집주인이 있었다. 그는 포도원을 일구고, 울타리를 치고, 그 안에 포도즙을 짜는 확을 파고, 망대를 세웠다. 그리고 그것을 농부들에게 세로 주고, 멀리 떠났다.
  2. 열매를 거두어들일 철이 가까이 왔을 때에, 그는 그 소출을 받으려고 자기 종들을 농부들에게 보냈다.
  3. 그런데, 농부들은 그 종들을 붙잡아서, 하나는 때리고, 하나는 죽이고, 또 하나는 돌로 쳤다.
  4. 주인은 다시 다른 종들을 처음보다 더 많이 보냈다. 그랬더니, 농부들은 그들에게도 똑같이 하였다.
  5. 마지막으로 그는 자기 아들을 보내며 말하기를 '그들이 내 아들이야 존중하겠지' 하였다.
  1. "But when the tenants saw the son, they said to each other, 'This is the heir. Come, let's kill him and take his inheritance.'
  2. So they took him and threw him out of the vineyard and killed him.
  3. "Therefore, when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those tenants?"
  4. "He will bring those wretches to a wretched end," they replied, "and he will rent the vineyard to other tenants, who will give him his share of the crop at harvest time."
  5. Jesus said to them, "Have you never read in the Scriptures: " 'The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone; the Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes'?
  1. 그러나 농부들은 그 아들을 보고 그들끼리 말하였다. '이 사람은 상속자다. 그를 죽이고, 그의 유산을 우리가 차지하자.'
  2. 그러면서 그들은 그를 잡아서, 포도원 밖으로 내쫓아 죽였다.
  3. 그러니 포도원 주인이 돌아올 때에, 그 농부들을 어떻게 하겠느냐?"
  4. 그들이 예수께 말하였다. "그 악한 자들을 가차없이 죽이고, 제 때에 소출을 바칠 다른 농부들에게 포도원을 맡길 것입니다."
  5. 예수께서 그들에게 말씀하셨다. "너희는 성경에서 이런 말씀을 읽어 본 일이 없느냐? '집 짓는 사람이 버린 돌이 집 모퉁이의 머릿돌이 되었다. 이것은 주님께서 하신 일이요, 우리 눈에는 놀라운 일이다.'
  1. "Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit.
  2. He who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces, but he on whom it falls will be crushed."
  3. When the chief priests and the Pharisees heard Jesus' parables, they knew he was talking about them.
  4. They looked for a way to arrest him, but they were afraid of the crowd because the people held that he was a prophet.
  1. 그러므로 나는 너희에게 말한다. 하나님께서는 너희에게서 하나님의 나라를 빼앗아서, 그 나라의 열매를 맺는 민족에게 주실 것이다.
  2. [이 돌 위에 떨어지는 사람은 부스러질 것이요, 이 돌이 어떤 사람 위에 떨어지면, 그를 가루로 만들어 놓을 것이다.]"
  3. 대제사장들과 바리새파 사람들은 예수의 비유를 듣고서, 자기들을 가리켜 하시는 말씀임을 알아채고,
  4. 그를 잡으려고 하였으나, 무리들이 무서워서 그렇게 하지 못하였다. 무리가 예수를 예언자로 여기고 있었기 때문이다.
 
 
  1. Jesus spoke to them again in parables, saying:
  2. "The kingdom of heaven is like a king who prepared a wedding banquet for his son.
  3. He sent his servants to those who had been invited to the banquet to tell them to come, but they refused to come.
  4. "Then he sent some more servants and said, 'Tell those who have been invited that I have prepared my dinner: My oxen and fattened cattle have been butchered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding banquet.'
  5. "But they paid no attention and went off--one to his field, another to his business.
  1. 예수께서 다시 여러 가지 비유로 그들에게 말씀하셨다.
  2. "하늘 나라는 자기 아들의 혼인 잔치를 베푼 어떤 임금에게 비길 수 있다.
  3. 임금이 자기 종들을 보내서, 초대받은 사람들을 잔치에 불러오게 하였는데, 그들은 오려고 하지 않았다.
  4. 그래서 다시 다른 종들을 보내며, 이렇게 말하였다. '초대받은 사람들에게로 가서, 음식을 다 차리고, 황소와 살진 짐승을 잡아서 모든 준비를 마쳤으니, 어서 잔치에 오시라고 하여라.'
  5. 그런데 초대받은 사람들은, 그 말을 들은 척도 하지 않고, 저마다 제 갈 곳으로 떠나갔다. 한 사람은 자기 밭으로 가고, 한 사람은 장사하러 갔다.
  1. The rest seized his servants, mistreated them and killed them.
  2. The king was enraged. He sent his army and destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
  3. "Then he said to his servants, 'The wedding banquet is ready, but those I invited did not deserve to come.
  4. Go to the street corners and invite to the banquet anyone you find.'
  5. So the servants went out into the streets and gathered all the people they could find, both good and bad, and the wedding hall was filled with guests.
  1. 그리고 나머지 사람들은 그의 종들을 붙잡아서, 모욕하고 죽였다.
  2. 임금은 노해서, 자기 군대를 보내서 그 살인자들을 죽이고, 그들의 도시를 불살라 버렸다.
  3. 그리고 자기 종들에게 말하였다. '혼인 잔치는 준비되었는데, 초대받은 사람들은 이것을 받을 만한 자격이 없다.
  4. 그러니 너희는 네 거리로 나가서, 아무나, 만나는 대로 잔치에 청해 오너라.'
  5. 종들은 큰길로 나가서, 악한 사람이나, 선한 사람이나, 만나는 대로 다 데려왔다. 그래서 혼인 잔치 자리는 손님으로 가득 차게 되었다.
  1. "But when the king came in to see the guests, he noticed a man there who was not wearing wedding clothes.
  2. 'Friend,' he asked, 'how did you get in here without wedding clothes?' The man was speechless.
  3. "Then the king told the attendants, 'Tie him hand and foot, and throw him outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'
  4. "For many are invited, but few are chosen."
  1. 임금이 손님들을 만나러 들어갔다가, 거기에 혼인 예복을 입지 않은 사람이 한 명 있는 것을 보고 그에게 묻기를,
  2. '이 사람아, 그대는 혼인 예복을 입지 않았는데, 어떻게 여기에 들어왔는가?' 하니, 그는 아무 말도 하지 못하였다.
  3. 그 때에 임금이 종들에게 분부하였다. '이 사람의 손발을 묶어서, 바깥 어두운 데로 내던져라. 거기서 슬피 울며 이를 갈 것이다.'
  4. 부름받은 사람은 많으나, 뽑힌 사람은 적다."
