레위기 17:1-18:30

 하나님께서는 선민 이스라엘 백성들에게 생명의 상징인 피와 버려진 짐승의 시체를 먹지 말 것을 명령하셨다. 그리고 그들이 전에 살았던 애굽과 앞으로 들어가서 살게 될 가나안 땅의 악한 풍습을 본받지 말 것을 강력하게 명령하셨다.
  
  피에 관한 규례(17:1-17:16)    
 
  1. The LORD said to Moses,
  2. "Speak to Aaron and his sons and to all the Israelites and say to them: 'This is what the LORD has commanded:
  3. Any Israelite who sacrifices an ox, a lamb or a goat in the camp or outside of it
  4. instead of bringing it to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting to present it as an offering to the LORD in front of the tabernacle of the LORD -that man shall be considered guilty of bloodshed; he has shed blood and must be cut off from his people.
  5. This is so the Israelites will bring to the LORD the sacrifices they are now making in the open fields. They must bring them to the priest, that is, to the LORD, at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting and sacrifice them as fellowship offerings.
  1. 주님께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다.
  2. "아론과 그의 아들들에게, 그리고 온 이스라엘 자손에게 일러라. 이것은 나 주가 명하는 것이다.
  3. 이스라엘 집안에 속한 사람은, 누구든지 소나 양이나 염소를 잡을 때에는, 진 안에서 잡든지 진 바깥에서 잡든지,
  4. 그것을 회막 어귀로 가져 와서, 주의 성막 앞에서 주에게 제물로 바쳐야만 한다. 그렇게 하지 아니하면, 그 짐승을 잡은 사람은 실제로 피를 흘린 것이므로 죄를 면하지 못한다. 그런 사람은 백성 가운데서 끊어져야 한다.
  5. 그렇기 때문에, 이스라엘 자손은 들판에서 죽이려고 한 짐승을 주에게 가져 와야만 한다. 그들은 그 짐승을 회막 어귀의 제사장에게로 끌고 가서, 주에게 바치는 화목제물로 그 짐승을 죽여야 한다.
  1. The priest is to sprinkle the blood against the altar of the LORD at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting and burn the fat as an aroma pleasing to the LORD.
  2. They must no longer offer any of their sacrifices to the goat idols to whom they prostitute themselves. This is to be a lasting ordinance for them and for the generations to come.'
  3. "Say to them: 'Any Israelite or any alien living among them who offers a burnt offering or sacrifice
  4. and does not bring it to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting to sacrifice it to the LORD -that man must be cut off from his people.
  5. " 'Any Israelite or any alien living among them who eats any blood--I will set my face against that person who eats blood and will cut him off from his people.
  1. 그러면 제사장은 그 피를 회막 어귀에서 주의 제단쪽으로 뿌린다. 기름기는 불살라서, 그 향기로 주를 기쁘게 하여야 한다.
  2. 백성은 더 이상, 그들이 잡은 짐승을 숫염소 귀신들에게 제물로 바치는 음행을 저질러서는 안 된다. 이것은 그들이 대대로 영원히 지켜야 할 규례이다.

  5. "이스라엘 집안에 속한 사람이나 또는 그들과 함께 사는 외국 사람이, 어떤 피든지 피를 먹으면, 나 주는 그 피를 먹은 사람을 그대로 두지 않겠다. 나는 그를 백성에게서 끊어 버리고야 말겠다.
  1. For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for one's life.
  2. Therefore I say to the Israelites, "None of you may eat blood, nor may an alien living among you eat blood."
  3. " 'Any Israelite or any alien living among you who hunts any animal or bird that may be eaten must drain out the blood and cover it with earth,
  4. because the life of every creature is its blood. That is why I have said to the Israelites, "You must not eat the blood of any creature, because the life of every creature is its blood; anyone who eats it must be cut off."
  5. " 'Anyone, whether native-born or alien, who eats anything found dead or torn by wild animals must wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will be ceremonially unclean till evening; then he will be clean.
  1. 생물의 생명이 바로 그 피 속에 있기 때문이다. 피는 너희 자신의 죄를 속하는 제물로 삼아 제단에 바치라고, 너희에게 준 것이다. 피가 바로 생명을 지니고 있기 때문에, 죄를 속하는 것이다.
  2. 그러므로 나 주가 이스라엘 자손에게 이미 말한 바와 같이, 너희 가운데 어느 누구도 피를 먹어서는 안 된다. 그뿐만 아니라, 너희와 함께 살고 있는 어떤 외국 사람도, 피를 먹어서는 안 된다.
  3. 이스라엘 집안에 속한 사람이나 그들과 함께 살고 있는 외국 사람이 사냥을 하여, 먹어도 좋은 어떤 짐승이나 새를 잡았을 때에는, 그 피를 땅에 쏟고 흙으로 덮어야 한다.
  4. 피는 곧 모든 생물의 생명이기 때문이다. 그렇기 때문에, 나는 이스라엘 자손에게 '너희는 어떤 생물의 피도 먹지 말라'고 한 것이다. 피는 곧 그 생물의 생명이니, 누구든지 피를 먹으면, 나의 백성에게서 끊어진다.
  5. 저절로 죽었거나 야수에게 물려 찢겨 죽은 것을 먹은 사람은, 본토 사람이든지 외국 사람이든지, 자기 옷을 빨아야 하고 물로 목욕을 하여야 한다. 그 부정한 상태는 저녁때까지 계속되다가, 저녁이 지나면 깨끗해진다.
  1. But if he does not wash his clothes and bathe himself, he will be held responsible.' "
  1. 그러나 그가 옷을 빨지도 않고 목욕을 하지도 않으면, 그는 죄값을 치러야 한다."
 
  비정상적인 성 관계 금지(18:1-18:30)    
 
  1. The LORD said to Moses,
  2. "Speak to the Israelites and say to them: 'I am the LORD your God.
  3. You must not do as they do in Egypt, where you used to live, and you must not do as they do in the land of Canaan, where I am bringing you. Do not follow their practices.
  4. You must obey my laws and be careful to follow my decrees. I am the LORD your God.
  5. Keep my decrees and laws, for the man who obeys them will live by them. I am the LORD.
  1. 주님께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다.
  2. "너는 이스라엘 자손에게 말하여라. 그들에게 이렇게 일러라. 내가 주 너희의 하나님이다.
  3. 너희는 너희가 살던 이집트 땅의 풍속도 따르지 말고, 이제 내가 이끌고 갈 땅, 가나안의 풍속도 따르지 말아라. 너희는 그들의 규례를 따라 살지 말아라.
  4. 그리고 너희는 내가 명한 법도를 따르고, 내가 세운 규례를 따라 살아라. 내가 주 너희의 하나님이다.
  5. 그러므로 너희는 내가 세운 규례와 내가 명한 법도를 지켜라. 어떤 사람이든 이것을 지키기만 하면, 그것으로 그 사람이 살 수 있다. 나는 주다.
  1. " 'No one is to approach any close relative to have sexual relations. I am the LORD.
  2. " 'Do not dishonor your father by having sexual relations with your mother. She is your mother; do not have relations with her.
  3. " 'Do not have sexual relations with your father's wife; that would dishonor your father.
  4. " 'Do not have sexual relations with your sister, either your father's daughter or your mother's daughter, whether she was born in the same home or elsewhere.
  5. " 'Do not have sexual relations with your son's daughter or your daughter's daughter; that would dishonor you.
  1. 너희 가운데 어느 누구도 가까운 살붙이에게 접근하여 그 몸을 범하면 안 된다. 나는 주다.
  2. 너는 네 아버지의 몸이나 마찬가지인 네 어머니의 몸을 범하면 안 된다. 그는 네 어머니인 만큼, 너는 그의 몸을 범하면 안 된다.
  3. 너는 네 아버지가 데리고 사는 여자의 몸을 범하면 안 된다. 그 여자는 네 아버지의 몸이기 때문이다.
  4. 너는 네 누이의 몸을 범하면 안 된다. 네 아버지의 딸이든지 네 어머니의 딸이든지, 집에서 낳았든지 낳아서 데리고 왔든지, 그 여자의 몸을 범하면 안 된다.
  5. 너는 네 아들이 낳은 딸이나, 네 딸이 낳은 딸의 몸을 범하면 안 된다. 그들의 몸은 네 자신의 몸이나 마찬가지이기 때문이다.
  1. " 'Do not have sexual relations with the daughter of your father's wife, born to your father; she is your sister.
  2. " 'Do not have sexual relations with your father's sister; she is your father's close relative.
  3. " 'Do not have sexual relations with your mother's sister, because she is your mother's close relative.
  4. " 'Do not dishonor your father's brother by approaching his wife to have sexual relations; she is your aunt.
  5. " 'Do not have sexual relations with your daughter-in-law. She is your son's wife; do not have relations with her.
  1. 너는 네 아버지가 데리고 사는 여자가 네 아버지와 관계하여 낳은 딸의 몸을 범하면 안 된다. 그 딸은 바로 네 누이이기 때문이다.
  2. 너는 네 아버지의 누이 곧 고모의 몸을 범하면 안 된다. 그 여자는 네 아버지의 가까운 살붙이이기 때문이다.
  3. 너는 네 어머니의 형제 곧 이모의 몸을 범하면 안 된다. 그 여자는 네 어머니의 가까운 살붙이이기 때문이다.
  4. 너는 네 아버지의 형제 곧 네 삼촌이 데리고 사는 여자에게 가까이하여 범하면 안 된다. 그 여자를 범하는 것은 곧 네 삼촌의 몸을 부끄럽게 하는 것이기 때문이다. 그 여자는 네 숙모이다.
  5. 너는 네 며느리의 몸을 범하면 안 된다. 그 여자는 네 아들의 아내이기 때문이다. 그러므로 너는 그 여자의 몸을 범하면 안 된다.
  1. " 'Do not have sexual relations with your brother's wife; that would dishonor your brother.
  2. " 'Do not have sexual relations with both a woman and her daughter. Do not have sexual relations with either her son's daughter or her daughter's daughter; they are her close relatives. That is wickedness.
  3. " 'Do not take your wife's sister as a rival wife and have sexual relations with her while your wife is living.
  4. " 'Do not approach a woman to have sexual relations during the uncleanness of her monthly period.
  5. " 'Do not have sexual relations with your neighbor's wife and defile yourself with her.
  1. 너는 네 형제의 아내 곧 형수나 제수의 몸을 범하면 안 된다. 그 여자는 네 형제의 몸이기 때문이다.
  2. 너는 한 여자를 데리고 살면서, 그 여자의 딸의 몸을 아울러 범하면 안 된다. 너는 또한 그 여자의 친손녀나 외손녀를 아울러 데려다가 그 몸을 범하면 안 된다. 그 여자의 딸이나 손녀들은 바로 그의 살붙이이기 때문이다. 그들을 범하는 일은 악한 일이다.
  3. 너는 네 아내가 살아 있는 동안에는, 네 아내의 형제를 첩으로 데려다가 그 몸을 범하면 안 된다.
  4. 너는, 여자가 월경을 하고 있어서 몸이 불결한 기간에는, 여자에게 가까이하여 그 몸을 범하면 안 된다.
  5. 너는 이웃의 아내와 동침하여 정액을 쏟아서는 안 된다. 그 여자와 간통하면 네가 더럽게 되기 때문이다.
  1. " 'Do not give any of your children to be sacrificed to Molech, for you must not profane the name of your God. I am the LORD.
  2. " 'Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.
  3. " 'Do not have sexual relations with an animal and defile yourself with it. A woman must not present herself to an animal to have sexual relations with it; that is a perversion.
  4. " 'Do not defile yourselves in any of these ways, because this is how the nations that I am going to drive out before you became defiled.
  5. Even the land was defiled; so I punished it for its sin, and the land vomited out its inhabitants.
  1. 너는 네 자식들을 몰렉에게 희생제물로 바치면 안 된다. 그렇게 하는 것은 네 하나님의 이름을 더럽게 하는 일이다. 나는 주다.
  2. 너는 여자와 교합하듯 남자와 교합하면 안 된다. 그것은 망측한 짓이다.
  3. 너는 어떤 종류의 짐승과도 교접하면 안 된다. 그렇게 하는 것은 네 자신을 더럽게 하는 일이다. 여자들도 또한 어떤 짐승하고든 교접하면 안 된다. 그렇게 하는 것은 성을 문란하게 하는 행위이다.
  4. 위에서 말한 것 가운데 어느 하나라도 저지르면, 이것은 너희가 스스로를 더럽히는 일이니, 그런 일이 없도록 하여라. 내가 너희 앞에서 쫓아낼 민족들이, 바로 그런 짓들을 하다가 스스로 자신을 더럽혔다.
  5. 따라서 그들이 사는 땅까지 더럽게 되었다. 그러므로 나는 그 악한 땅을 벌하였고, 그 땅은 그 거주자들을 토해 내게 되었다.
  1. But you must keep my decrees and my laws. The native-born and the aliens living among you must not do any of these detestable things,
  2. for all these things were done by the people who lived in the land before you, and the land became defiled.
  3. And if you defile the land, it will vomit you out as it vomited out the nations that were before you.
  4. " 'Everyone who does any of these detestable things--such persons must be cut off from their people.
  5. Keep my requirements and do not follow any of the detestable customs that were practiced before you came and do not defile yourselves with them. I am the LORD your God.' "
  1. 너희는 모두 내가 세운 규례와 내가 명한 법도를 잘 지켜서, 온갖 역겨운 짓 가운데, 어느 하나라도 범하지 않도록 하여라. 본토 사람이나 너희와 함께 사는 외국 사람이나 다 마찬가지이다.
  2. 너희보다 앞서 그 땅에서 살던 사람들은, 이 역겨운 모든 짓을 하여, 그 땅을 더럽히고 말았다.
  3. 너희가 그 땅을 더럽히면, 마치, 너희보다 앞서 그 땅에 살던 민족을 그 땅이 토해 냈듯이, 너희를 토해 낼 것이다.
  4. 누구든지 위에서 말한 역겨운 짓 가운데 어느 하나라도 범하면, 백성은 그런 짓을 한 그 사람과는 관계를 끊어야 한다.
  5. 그러므로 너희는, 내가 지키라고 한 것을 꼭 지켜서, 너희보다 앞서 그 곳에 살던 사람들이 저지른 역겨운 풍습 가운데 어느 하나라도 따라가는 일이 없도록 하여라. 그런 짓들을 하여, 너희가 스스로를 더럽히는 일이 없도록 하여라. 내가 주 너희의 하나님이다."
