- If you make the Most High your dwelling-- even the LORD, who is my refuge-
- then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent.
- For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways;
- they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
- You will tread upon the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent.

- 네가 주님을 네 피난처로 삼았으니, 가장 높으신 분을 너의 거처로 삼았으니,
- 네게는 어떤 불행도 찾아오지 않을 것이다. 네 장막에는, 어떤 재앙도 가까이하지 못할 것이다.
- 그가 천사들에게 명하셔서 네가 가는 길마다 너를 지키게 하실 것이니,
- 너의 발이 돌부리에 부딪히지 않게 천사들이 그들의 손으로 너를 붙들어 줄 것이다.
- 네가 사자와 독사를 짓밟고 다니며, 사자 새끼와 살모사를 짓이기고 다닐 것이다.

- "Because he loves me," says the LORD, "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
- He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.
- With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation."

- （하나님께서 말씀하신다.） "그가 나를 간절히 사랑하니, 내가 그를 건져 주겠다. 그가 나의 이름을 알고 있으니, 내가 그를 높여 주겠다.
- 그가 나를 부를 때에, 내가 응답하고, 그가 고난을 받을 때에, 내가 그와 함께 있겠다. 내가 그를 건져 주고, 그를 영화롭게 하겠다.
- 내가 그를 만족할 만큼 오래 살도록 하고 내 구원을 그에게 보여 주겠다."
