- 주님의 이름은 견고한 성루이므로, 의인이 그 곳으로 달려가면, 아무도 뒤쫓지 못한다.
- 부자의 재산은 그의 견고한 성이 되니, 그는 그것을 아무도 못 오를 높은 성벽처럼 여긴다.
- 사람의 마음이 오만하면 멸망이 뒤따르지만, 겸손하면 영광이 뒤따른다.
- 다 들어 보지도 않고 대답하는 것은, 수모를 받기에 알맞은 어리석은 짓이다.
