  1. I pursued my enemies and overtook them; I did not turn back till they were destroyed.
  2. I crushed them so that they could not rise; they fell beneath my feet.
  3. You armed me with strength for battle; you made my adversaries bow at my feet.
  4. You made my enemies turn their backs in flight, and I destroyed my foes.
  5. They cried for help, but there was no one to save them-- to the LORD, but he did not answer.
  1. I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them: neither did I turn again till they were consumed.
  2. I have wounded them that they were not able to rise: they are fallen under my feet.
  3. For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me.
  4. Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies; that I might destroy them that hate me.
  5. They cried, but there was none to save them: even unto the LORD, but he answered them not.
  1. I beat them as fine as dust borne on the wind; I poured them out like mud in the streets.
  2. You have delivered me from the attacks of the people; you have made me the head of nations; people I did not know are subject to me.
  3. As soon as they hear me, they obey me; foreigners cringe before me.
  4. They all lose heart; they come trembling from their strongholds.
  5. The LORD lives! Praise be to my Rock! Exalted be God my Savior!
  1. Then did I beat them small as the dust before the wind: I did cast them out as the dirt in the streets.
  2. Thou hast delivered me from the strivings of the people; and thou hast made me the head of the heathen: a people whom I have not known shall serve me.
  3. As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me: the strangers shall submit themselves unto me.
  4. The strangers shall fade away, and be afraid out of their close places.
  5. The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted.
  1. He is the God who avenges me, who subdues nations under me,
  2. who saves me from my enemies. You exalted me above my foes; from violent men you rescued me.
  3. Therefore I will praise you among the nations, O LORD; I will sing praises to your name.
  4. He gives his king great victories; he shows unfailing kindness to his anointed, to David and his descendants forever.
  1. It is God that avengeth me, and subdueth the people under me.
  2. He delivereth me from mine enemies: yea, thou liftest me up above those that rise up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.
  3. Therefore will I give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and sing praises unto thy name.
  4. Great deliverance giveth he to his king; and sheweth mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore.
