마태복음 17:22-18:14

 예수께서 두번째로 자신이 수난당하실 것을 말씀하시고, 어린아이와 같은 겸손과 지극히 작은 자에 대한 관심과 사랑을 실천할 것을 교훈하셨다.
  
  두번째 수난 예언(17:22-17:27)    
 
  1. When they came together in Galilee, he said to them, "The Son of Man is going to be betrayed into the hands of men.
  2. They will kill him, and on the third day he will be raised to life." And the disciples were filled with grief.
  3. After Jesus and his disciples arrived in Capernaum, the collectors of the two-drachma tax came to Peter and asked, "Doesn't your teacher pay the temple tax?"
  4. "Yes, he does," he replied. When Peter came into the house, Jesus was the first to speak. "What do you think, Simon?" he asked. "From whom do the kings of the earth collect duty and taxes--from their own sons or from others?"
  5. "From others," Peter answered. "Then the sons are exempt," Jesus said to him.
  1. 彼らが ガリラヤ に 集まっていたとき， イエス は 彼らに 言われた． 「人の 子は， いまに 人¿の 手に 渡されます．
  2. そして 彼らに 殺されるが， 三日目によみがえります． 」すると， 彼らは 非常に 悲しんだ．
  3. また， 彼らが カペナウム に 來たとき， 宮の 納入金を 集める 人たちが， ペテロ のところに 來て 言った． 「あなたがたの 先生は， 宮の 納入金を 納めないのですか． 」
  4. 彼は「納めます． 」と 言って， 家にはいると， 先に イエス のほうからこう 言い 出された． 「シモン ． どう 思いますか． 世の 王たちはだれから 稅や 貢を 取り 立てますか． 自分の 子どもたちからですか， それともほかの 人たちからですか． 」
  5. ペテロ が「ほかの 人たちからです． 」と 言うと， イエス は 言われた． 「では， 子どもたちにはその 義務がないのです．
  1. "But so that we may not offend them, go to the lake and throw out your line. Take the first fish you catch; open its mouth and you will find a four-drachma coin. Take it and give it to them for my tax and yours."
  1. しかし， 彼らにつまずきを 與えないために， 湖に 行って 釣りをして， 最初に 釣れた 魚を 取りなさい． その 口をあけると スタテル 一枚が 見つかるから， それを 取って， わたしとあなたとの 分として 納めなさい． 」
 
  천국에서 가장 큰 자(18:1-18:14)    
 
  1. At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, "Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?"
  2. He called a little child and had him stand among them.
  3. And he said: "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
  4. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
  5. "And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me.
  1. そのとき， 弟子たちが イエス のところに 來て 言った． 「それでは， 天の 御國では， だれが 一番偉いのでしょうか． 」
  2. そこで， イエス は 小さい 子どもを 呼び 寄せ， 彼らの 眞中に 立たせて，
  3. 言われた． 「まことに， あなたがたに 告げます． あなたがたも 悔い 改めて 子どもたちのようにならない 限り， 決して 天の 御國には， はいれません．
  4. だから， この 子どものように， 自分を 低くする 者が， 天の 御國で 一番偉い 人です．
  5. また， だれでも， このような 子どものひとりを， わたしの 名のゆえに 受け 入れる 者は， わたしを 受け 入れるのです．
  1. But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.
  2. "Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to sin! Such things must come, but woe to the man through whom they come!
  3. If your hand or your foot causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life maimed or crippled than to have two hands or two feet and be thrown into eternal fire.
  4. And if your eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell.
  5. "See that you do not look down on one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.
  1. しかし， わたしを 信じるこの 小さい 者たちのひとりにでもつまずきを 與えるような 者は， 大きい 石臼を 首にかけられて， 湖の 深みでおぼれ 死んだほうがましです．
  2. つまずきを 與えるこの 世は 忌まわしいものです． つまずきが 起こることは 避けられないが， つまずきをもたらす 者は 忌まわしいものです．
  3. もし， あなたの 手か 足の 一つがあなたをつまずかせるなら， それを 切って 捨てなさい． 片手片足でいのちにはいるほうが， 兩手兩足そろっていて 永遠の 火に 投げ 入れられるよりは， あなたにとってよいことです．
  4. また， もし， あなたの 一方の 目が， あなたをつまずかせるなら， それをえぐり 出して 捨てなさい． 片目でいのちにはいるほうが， 兩目そろっていて 燃える ゲヘナ に 投げ 入れられるよりは， あなたにとってよいことです．
  5. あなたがたは， この 小さい 者たちを， ひとりでも 見下げたりしないように 氣をつけなさい． まことに， あなたがたに 告げます． 彼らの 天の 御使いたちは， 天におられるわたしの 父の 御顔をいつも 見ているからです．
  2. "What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off?
  3. And if he finds it, I tell you the truth, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off.
  4. In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should be lost.
  1. 〔人の 子は， 滅んでいる 者を 救うために 來たのです． 〕
  2. あなたがたはどう 思いますか． もし， だれかが 百匹の 羊を 持っていて， そのうちの 一匹が 迷い 出たとしたら， その 人は 九十九匹を 山に 殘して， 迷った 一匹を 搜しに 出かけないでしょうか．
  3. そして， もし， いたとなれば， まことに， あなたがたに 告げます． その 人は 迷わなかった 九十九匹の 羊以上にこの 一匹を 喜ぶのです．
  4. このように， この 小さい 者たちのひとりが 滅びることは， 天にいますあなたがたの 父のみこころではありません．
