마태복음 26:69-27:14

 예수님을 따르던 베드로는 예언대로 예수님을 세 번 부인하였다. 총독 빌라도에게 넘겨진 예수님은 다시 심문을 받게 되었고 무죄한 예수님을 팔아 넘긴 유다는 자살하고 말았다.
  
  제자들의 배반(26:69-27:14)    
 
  1. Now Peter was sitting out in the courtyard, and a servant girl came to him. "You also were with Jesus of Galilee," she said.
  2. But he denied it before them all. "I don't know what you're talking about," he said.
  3. Then he went out to the gateway, where another girl saw him and said to the people there, "This fellow was with Jesus of Nazareth."
  4. He denied it again, with an oath: "I don't know the man!"
  5. After a little while, those standing there went up to Peter and said, "Surely you are one of them, for your accent gives you away."
  1. ペテロ が 外の 中庭にすわっていると， 女中のひとりが 來て 言った． 「あなたも， ガリラヤ 人 イエス といっしょにいましたね． 」
  2. しかし， ペテロ はみなの 前でそれを 打ち 消して， 「何を 言っているのか， 私にはわからない． 」と 言った．
  3. そして， ペテロ が 入口まで 出て 行くと， ほかの 女中が， 彼を 見て， そこにいる 人¿に 言った． 「この 人は ナザレ 人 イエス といっしょでした． 」
  4. それで， ペテロ は， またもそれを 打ち 消し， 誓って， 「そんな 人は 知らない． 」と 言った．
  5. しばらくすると， そのあたりに 立っている 人¿が ペテロ に 近寄って 來て， 「確かに， あなたもあの 仲間だ． ことばのなまりではっきりわかる． 」と 言った．
  1. Then he began to call down curses on himself and he swore to them, "I don't know the man!" Immediately a rooster crowed.
  2. Then Peter remembered the word Jesus had spoken: "Before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times." And he went outside and wept bitterly.
  1. すると 彼は， 「そんな 人は 知らない． 」と 言って， のろいをかけて 誓い 始めた． するとすぐに， 鷄が 鳴いた．
  2. そこで ペテロ は， 「鷄が 鳴く 前に 三度， あなたは， わたしを 知らないと 言います． 」と イエス の 言われたあのことばを 思い 出した． そうして， 彼は 出て 行って， 激しく 泣いた．
 
 
  1. Early in the morning, all the chief priests and the elders of the people came to the decision to put Jesus to death.
  2. They bound him, led him away and handed him over to Pilate, the governor.
  3. When Judas, who had betrayed him, saw that Jesus was condemned, he was seized with remorse and returned the thirty silver coins to the chief priests and the elders.
  4. "I have sinned," he said, "for I have betrayed innocent blood." "What is that to us?" they replied. "That's your responsibility."
  5. So Judas threw the money into the temple and left. Then he went away and hanged himself.
  1. さて， 夜が 明けると， 祭司長， 民の 長老たち 全員は， イエス を 死刑にするために 協議した．
  2. それから， イエス を 縛って 連れ 出し， 總督 ピラト に 引き 渡した．
  3. そのとき， イエス を 賣った ユダ は， イエス が 罪に 定められたのを 知って 後悔し， 銀貨三十枚を， 祭司長， 長老たちに 返して，
  4. 「私は 罪を 犯した． 罪のない 人の 血を 賣ったりして． 」と 言った． しかし， 彼らは， 「私たちの 知ったことか． 自分で 始末することだ． 」と 言った．
  5. それで， 彼は 銀貨を 神殿に 投げ ¿んで 立ち 去った． そして， 外に 出て 行って， 首をつった．
  1. The chief priests picked up the coins and said, "It is against the law to put this into the treasury, since it is blood money."
  2. So they decided to use the money to buy the potter's field as a burial place for foreigners.
  3. That is why it has been called the Field of Blood to this day.
  4. Then what was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet was fulfilled: "They took the thirty silver coins, the price set on him by the people of Israel,
  5. and they used them to buy the potter's field, as the Lord commanded me."
  1. 祭司長たちは 銀貨を 取って， 「これを 神殿の 金庫に 入れるのはよくない． 血の 代價だから． 」と 言った．
  2. 彼らは 相談して， その 金で 陶器師の 畑を 買い， 旅人たちの 墓地にした．
  3. それで， その 畑は， 今でも 血の 畑と 呼ばれている．
  4. そのとき， 預言者 エレミヤ を 通して 言われた 事が 成就した． 「彼らは 銀貨三十枚を 取った． イスラエル の 人¿に 値積もりされた 人の 値段である．
  5. 彼らは， 主が 私にお 命じになったように， その 金を 拂って， 陶器師の 畑を 買った． 」
  1. Meanwhile Jesus stood before the governor, and the governor asked him, "Are you the king of the Jews?" "Yes, it is as you say," Jesus replied.
  2. When he was accused by the chief priests and the elders, he gave no answer.
  3. Then Pilate asked him, "Don't you hear the testimony they are bringing against you?"
  4. But Jesus made no reply, not even to a single charge--to the great amazement of the governor.
  1. さて， イエス は 總督の 前に 立たれた． すると， 總督は イエス に「あなたは， ユダヤ 人の 王ですか． 」と 尋ねた． イエス は 彼に「そのとおりです． 」と 言われた．
  2. しかし， 祭司長， 長老たちから 訴えがなされたときは， 何もお 答えにならなかった．
  3. そのとき， ピラト は イエス に 言った． 「あんなにいろいろとあなたに 不利な 證言をしているのに， 聞こえないのですか． 」
  4. それでも， イエス は， どんな 訴えに 對しても 一言もお 答えにならなかった． それには 總督も 非常に 驚いた．
