마가복음 6:14-6:56

 예수님의 명성은 높아만 갔고, 헤롯은 예수님을 자신이 살해한 세례 요한이 다시 살아 돌아온 것이라 생각하며 두려워하였다.
  
  세례 요한의 순교(6:14-6:29)    
 
  1. King Herod heard about this, for Jesus' name had become well known. Some were saying, "John the Baptist has been raised from the dead, and that is why miraculous powers are at work in him."
  2. Others said, "He is Elijah." And still others claimed, "He is a prophet, like one of the prophets of long ago."
  3. But when Herod heard this, he said, "John, the man I beheaded, has been raised from the dead!"
  4. For Herod himself had given orders to have John arrested, and he had him bound and put in prison. He did this because of Herodias, his brother Philip's wife, whom he had married.
  5. For John had been saying to Herod, "It is not lawful for you to have your brother's wife."
  1. イエス の 名が 知れ 渡ったので， ヘロデ 王の 耳にもはいった． 人¿は， 「バプテスマ の ヨハネ が 死人の 中からよみがえったのだ． だから， あんな 力が， 彼のうちに ¿いているのだ． 」と 言っていた．
  2. 別の 人¿は， 「彼は エリヤ だ． 」と 言い， さらに 別の 人¿は， 「昔の 預言者の 中のひとりのような 預言者だ． 」と 言っていた．
  3. しかし， ヘロデ はうわさを 聞いて， 「私が 首をはねたあの ヨハネ が 生き 返ったのだ． 」と 言っていた．
  4. 實は， この ヘロデ が， 自分の 兄弟 ピリポ の 妻 ヘロデヤ のことで， ·· ヘロデ はこの 女を 妻としていた． ··人をやって ヨハネ を 捕え， 牢につないだのであった．
  5. これは， ヨハネ が ヘロデ に， 「あなたが 兄弟の 妻を 自分のものとしていることは 不法です． 」と 言い 張ったからである．
  1. So Herodias nursed a grudge against John and wanted to kill him. But she was not able to,
  2. because Herod feared John and protected him, knowing him to be a righteous and holy man. When Herod heard John, he was greatly puzzled; yet he liked to listen to him.
  3. Finally the opportune time came. On his birthday Herod gave a banquet for his high officials and military commanders and the leading men of Galilee.
  4. When the daughter of Herodias came in and danced, she pleased Herod and his dinner guests. The king said to the girl, "Ask me for anything you want, and I'll give it to you."
  5. And he promised her with an oath, "Whatever you ask I will give you, up to half my kingdom."
  1. ところが， ヘロデヤ は ヨハネ を 恨み， 彼を 殺したいと 思いながら， 果たせないでいた．
  2. それは ヘロデ が， ヨハネ を 正しい 聖なる 人と 知って， 彼を 恐れ， 保護を 加えていたからである． また， ヘロデ は ヨハネ の 敎えを 聞くとき， 非常に 當惑しながらも， 喜んで 耳を 傾けていた．
  3. ところが， 良い 機會が 訪れた． ヘロデ がその 誕生日に， 重臣や， 千人隊長や， ガリラヤ のおもだった 人などを 招いて， 祝宴を 設けたとき，
  4. ヘロデヤ の 娘がはいって 來て， 踊りを 踊ったので， ヘロデ も 列席の 人¿も 喜んだ． そこで 王は， この 少女に， 「何でもほしい 物を 言いなさい． 與えよう． 」と 言った．
  5. また， 「おまえの 望む 物なら， 私の 國の 半分でも， 與えよう． 」と 言って， 誓った．
  1. She went out and said to her mother, "What shall I ask for?" "The head of John the Baptist," she answered.
  2. At once the girl hurried in to the king with the request: "I want you to give me right now the head of John the Baptist on a platter."
  3. The king was greatly distressed, but because of his oaths and his dinner guests, he did not want to refuse her.
  4. So he immediately sent an executioner with orders to bring John's head. The man went, beheaded John in the prison,
  5. and brought back his head on a platter. He presented it to the girl, and she gave it to her mother.
  1. そこで 少女は 出て 行って， 「何を 願いましょうか． 」とその 母親に 言った． すると 母親は， 「バプテスマ の ヨハネ の 首． 」と 言った．
  2. そこで 少女はすぐに， 大急ぎで 王の 前に 行き， こう 言って 賴んだ． 「今すぐに， バプテスマ の ヨハネ の 首を 盆に 載せていただきとうございます． 」
  3. 王は 非常に 心を 痛めたが， 自分の 誓いもあり， 列席の 人¿の 手前もあって， 少女の 願いを 退けることを 好まなかった．
  4. そこで 王は， すぐに 護衛兵をやって， ヨハネ の 首を 持って 來るように 命令した． 護衛兵は 行って， 牢の 中で ヨハネ の 首をはね，
  5. その 首を 盆に 載せて 持って 來て， 少女に 渡した． 少女は， それを 母親に 渡した．
  1. On hearing of this, John's disciples came and took his body and laid it in a tomb.
  1. ヨハネ の 弟子たちは， このことを 聞いたので， やって 來て， 遺體を 引き 取り， 墓に 納めたのであった．
 
  예수님의 신적 사역(6:30-6:56)    
 
  1. The apostles gathered around Jesus and reported to him all they had done and taught.
  2. Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, he said to them, "Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest."
  3. So they went away by themselves in a boat to a solitary place.
  4. But many who saw them leaving recognized them and ran on foot from all the towns and got there ahead of them.
  5. When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So he began teaching them many things.
  1. さて， 使徒たちは， イエス のもとに 集まって 來て， 自分たちのしたこと， 敎えたことを 殘らず イエス に 報告した．
  2. そこで イエス は 彼らに， 「さあ， あなたがただけで， 寂しい 所へ 行って， しばらく 休みなさい． 」と 言われた． 人¿の 出入りが 多くて， ゆっくり 食事する 時間さえなかったからである．
  3. そこで 彼らは， 舟に 乘って， 自分たちだけで 寂しい 所へ 行った．
  4. ところが， 多くの 人¿が， 彼らの 出て 行くのを 見， それと 氣づいて， 方¿の 町¿からそこへ 徒步で 驅けつけ， 彼らよりも 先に 着いてしまった．
  5. イエス は， 舟から 上がられると， 多くの 群衆をご 覽になった． そして 彼らが 羊飼いのいない 羊のようであるのを 深くあわれみ， いろいろと 敎え 始められた．
  1. By this time it was late in the day, so his disciples came to him. "This is a remote place," they said, "and it's already very late.
  2. Send the people away so they can go to the surrounding countryside and villages and buy themselves something to eat."
  3. But he answered, "You give them something to eat." They said to him, "That would take eight months of a man's wages! Are we to go and spend that much on bread and give it to them to eat?"
  4. "How many loaves do you have?" he asked. "Go and see." When they found out, they said, "Five--and two fish."
  5. Then Jesus directed them to have all the people sit down in groups on the green grass.
  1. そのうち， もう 時刻もおそくなったので， 弟子たちは イエス のところに 來て 言った． 「ここはへんぴな 所で， もう 時刻もおそくなりました．
  2. みんなを 解散させてください． そして， 近くの 部落や 村に 行って 何か 食べる 物をめいめいで 買うようにさせてください． 」
  3. すると， 彼らに 答えて 言われた． 「あなたがたで， あの 人たちに 何か 食べる 物を 上げなさい． 」そこで 弟子たちは 言った． 「私たちが 出かけて 行って， 二百 デナリ もの パン を 買ってあの 人たちに 食べさせるように， ということでしょうか． 」
  4. すると イエス は 彼らに 言われた． 「パン はどれぐらいありますか． 行って 見て 來なさい． 」彼らは 確かめて 言った． 「五つです． それと 魚が 二匹です． 」
  5. イエス は， みなを， それぞれ 組にして 靑草の 上にすわらせるよう， 弟子たちにお 命じになった．
  1. So they sat down in groups of hundreds and fifties.
  2. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to his disciples to set before the people. He also divided the two fish among them all.
  3. They all ate and were satisfied,
  4. and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces of bread and fish.
  5. The number of the men who had eaten was five thousand.
  1. そこで 人¿は， 百人， 五十人と 固まって 席に 着いた．
  2. すると イエス は， 五つの パン と 二匹の 魚を 取り， 天を 見上げて 祝福を 求め， パン を 裂き， 人¿に 配るように 弟子たちに 與えられた． また， 二匹の 魚もみなに 分けられた．
  3. 人¿はみな， 食べて 滿腹した．
  4. そして， パン 切れを 十二のかごにいっぱい 取り 集め， 魚の 殘りも 取り 集めた．
  5. パン を 食べたのは， 男が 五千人であった．
  1. Immediately Jesus made his disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to Bethsaida, while he dismissed the crowd.
  2. After leaving them, he went up on a mountainside to pray.
  3. When evening came, the boat was in the middle of the lake, and he was alone on land.
  4. He saw the disciples straining at the oars, because the wind was against them. About the fourth watch of the night he went out to them, walking on the lake. He was about to pass by them,
  5. but when they saw him walking on the lake, they thought he was a ghost. They cried out,
  1. それからすぐに， イエス は 弟子たちを 强いて 舟に 乘り ¿ませ， 先に 向こう 岸の ベツサイダ に 行かせ， ご 自分は， その 間に 群衆を 解散させておられた．
  2. それから， 群衆に 別れ， 祈るために， そこを 去って 山のほうに 向かわれた．
  3. 夕方になったころ， 舟は 湖の 眞中に 出ており， イエス だけが 陸地におられた．
  4. イエス は， 弟子たちが， 向かい 風のために 漕ぎあぐねているのをご 覽になり， 夜中の 三時ごろ， 湖の 上を 步いて， 彼らに 近づいて 行かれたが， そのままそばを 通り 過ぎようとのおつもりであった．
  5. しかし， 弟子たちは， イエス が 湖の 上を 步いておられるのを 見て， 幽靈だと 思い， 叫び 聲をあげた．
  1. because they all saw him and were terrified. Immediately he spoke to them and said, "Take courage! It is I. Don't be afraid."
  2. Then he climbed into the boat with them, and the wind died down. They were completely amazed,
  3. for they had not understood about the loaves; their hearts were hardened.
  4. When they had crossed over, they landed at Gennesaret and anchored there.
  5. As soon as they got out of the boat, people recognized Jesus.
  1. というのは， みな イエス を 見ておびえてしまったからである． しかし， イエス はすぐに 彼らに 話しかけ， 「しっかりしなさい． わたしだ． 恐れることはない． 」と 言われた．
  2. そして 舟に 乘り ¿まれると， 風がやんだ． 彼らの 心中の 驚きは 非常なものであった．
  3. というのは， 彼らはまだ パン のことから 悟るところがなく， その 心は 堅く 閉じていたからである．
  4. 彼らは 湖を 渡って， ゲネサレ の 地に 着き， 舟をつないだ．
  5. そして， 彼らが 舟から 上がると， 人¿はすぐに イエス だと 氣がついて，
  1. They ran throughout that whole region and carried the sick on mats to wherever they heard he was.
  2. And wherever he went--into villages, towns or countryside--they placed the sick in the marketplaces. They begged him to let them touch even the edge of his cloak, and all who touched him were healed.
  1. そのあたりをくまなく 走り 回り， イエス がおられると 聞いた 場所へ， 病人を 床に 載せて 運んで 來た．
  2. イエス がはいって 行かれると， 村でも 町でも 部落でも， 人¿は 病人たちを 廣場に 寢かせ， そして， せめて， イエス の 着物の 端にでもさわらせてくださるようにと 願った． そして， さわった 人¿はみな， いやされた．
 
  데나리온( 6:37)  로마시대에 쓰이던 은돈. 한 데나리온은 은 약 3.8g에 해당하며, 하루 품삯임
