- 『荒らす 憎むべきもの 』が， 自分の 立ってはならない 所に 立っているのを 見たならば（讀者はよく 讀み 取るように． ） ユダヤ にいる 人¿は 山へ 逃げなさい．
- 屋上にいる 者は 降りてはいけません． 家から 何かを 取り 出そうとして 中に 入ってはいけません．
- 畑にいる 者は 着物を 取りに 戾ってはいけません．
- だが， その 日， 悲慘なのは 身重の 女と 乳飮み 子を 持つ 女です．
- ただ， このことが 冬に 起こらないように 祈りなさい．

- because those will be days of distress unequaled from the beginning, when God created the world, until now--and never to be equaled again.
- If the Lord had not cut short those days, no one would survive. But for the sake of the elect, whom he has chosen, he has shortened them.

- だから， 目をさましていなさい． 家の 主人がいつ 歸って 來るか， 夕方か， 夜中か， 鷄の 鳴くころか， 明け 方か， わからないからです．
- 主人が 不意に 歸って 來たとき 眠っているのを 見られないようにしなさい．
- わたしがあなたがたに 話していることは， すべての 人に 言っているのです． 目をさましていなさい． 」
