민수기 8:1-9:23

 하나님을 섬기기 위해 레위인은 죄로부터 정결케 되는 의식을 행하였다. 회막에서 봉사하는 레위인들의 연령은 25세부터 50세까지였다. 하나님께서는 이스라엘 자손들에게 유월절 행사를 지키도록 명령하셨고, 40년 광야 생활 동안 불과 구름 기둥으로 인도하셨다.
  
  레위인의 성결(8:1-8:26)    
 
  1. The LORD said to Moses,
  2. "Speak to Aaron and say to him, 'When you set up the seven lamps, they are to light the area in front of the lampstand.' "
  3. Aaron did so; he set up the lamps so that they faced forward on the lampstand, just as the LORD commanded Moses.
  4. This is how the lampstand was made: It was made of hammered gold--from its base to its blossoms. The lampstand was made exactly like the pattern the LORD had shown Moses.
  5. The LORD said to Moses:
  1. 主は モ ― セ に 告げて 仰せられた．
  2. 「アロン に 告げて 言え． あなたがともしび 皿を 上げるときは， 七つのともしび 皿が 燭台の 前を 照らすようにしなさい． 」
  3. アロン はそのようにした． 主が モ ― セ に 命じられたとおりに， 前に 向けて 燭台のともしび 皿を， 取りつけた．
  4. 燭台の 作り 方は 次のとおりであった． それは 金の 打ち 物で， その 台座から 花弁に 至るまで 打ち 物であった． 主が モ ― セ に 示された 型のとおりに， この 燭台は 作られていた．
  5. ついで 主は モ ― セ に 告げて 仰せられた．
  1. "Take the Levites from among the other Israelites and make them ceremonially clean.
  2. To purify them, do this: Sprinkle the water of cleansing on them; then have them shave their whole bodies and wash their clothes, and so purify themselves.
  3. Have them take a young bull with its grain offering of fine flour mixed with oil; then you are to take a second young bull for a sin offering.
  4. Bring the Levites to the front of the Tent of Meeting and assemble the whole Israelite community.
  5. You are to bring the Levites before the LORD, and the Israelites are to lay their hands on them.
  1. 「レビ 人を イスラエル 人の 中から 取って， 彼らをきよめよ．
  2. あなたは 次のようにして 彼らをきよめなければならない． 罪のきよめの 水を 彼らに 振りかける． 彼らは 全身にかみそりを 當て， その 衣服を 洗い， 身をきよめ，

  1. Aaron is to present the Levites before the LORD as a wave offering from the Israelites, so that they may be ready to do the work of the LORD.
  2. "After the Levites lay their hands on the heads of the bulls, use the one for a sin offering to the LORD and the other for a burnt offering, to make atonement for the Levites.
  3. Have the Levites stand in front of Aaron and his sons and then present them as a wave offering to the LORD.
  4. In this way you are to set the Levites apart from the other Israelites, and the Levites will be mine.
  5. "After you have purified the Levites and presented them as a wave offering, they are to come to do their work at the Tent of Meeting.
  1. アロン は レビ 人を， イスラエル 人からの 奉獻物として 主の 前にささげる． これは 彼らが 主の 奉仕をするためである．
  2. レビ 人は， その 手を 雄牛の 頭の 上に 置き， レビ 人の 罪を ·うために， 一頭を 罪のためのいけにえとし， 一頭を 全燒のいけにえとして 主にささげなければならない．

  1. They are the Israelites who are to be given wholly to me. I have taken them as my own in place of the firstborn, the first male offspring from every Israelite woman.
  2. Every firstborn male in Israel, whether man or animal, is mine. When I struck down all the firstborn in Egypt, I set them apart for myself.
  3. And I have taken the Levites in place of all the firstborn sons in Israel.
  4. Of all the Israelites, I have given the Levites as gifts to Aaron and his sons to do the work at the Tent of Meeting on behalf of the Israelites and to make atonement for them so that no plague will strike the Israelites when they go near the sanctuary."
  5. Moses, Aaron and the whole Israelite community did with the Levites just as the LORD commanded Moses.
  1. 彼らは イスラエル 人のうちから 正式にわたしのものとなったからである． すべての イスラエル 人のうちで， 最初に 生まれた 初子の 代わりに， わたしは 彼らをわたしのものとして 取ったのである．

  1. The Levites purified themselves and washed their clothes. Then Aaron presented them as a wave offering before the LORD and made atonement for them to purify them.
  2. After that, the Levites came to do their work at the Tent of Meeting under the supervision of Aaron and his sons. They did with the Levites just as the LORD commanded Moses.
  3. The LORD said to Moses,
  4. "This applies to the Levites: Men twenty-five years old or more shall come to take part in the work at the Tent of Meeting,
  5. but at the age of fifty, they must retire from their regular service and work no longer.
  1. レビ 人は 罪の 身をきよめ， その 衣服を 洗った． そうして アロン は 彼らを 奉獻物として 主の 前にささげた． また アロン は 彼らの ·いをし， 彼らをきよめた．
  2. こうして 後， レビ 人は 會見の 天幕にはいって， アロン とその 子らの 前で 自分たちの 奉仕をした． 人¿は 主が レビ 人について モ ― セ に 命じられたとおりに， レビ 人に 行なった．
  3. ついで 主は モ ― セ に 告げて 仰せられた．
  4. 「これは レビ 人に 關することである． 二十五歲以上の 者は 會見の 天幕の 奉仕の 務めを 果たさなければならない．
  5. しかし， 五十歲からは 奉仕の 務めから 退き， もう 奉仕してはならない．
  1. They may assist their brothers in performing their duties at the Tent of Meeting, but they themselves must not do the work. This, then, is how you are to assign the responsibilities of the Levites."
  1. その 人はただ， 會見の 天幕で， 自分の 同族の 者が 任務を 果たすのを 助けることはできるが， 自分で 奉仕をしてはならない． あなたは， レビ 人に， 彼らの 任務に 關して， このようにしなければならない． 」
 
  유월절(9:1-9:23)    
 
  1. The LORD spoke to Moses in the Desert of Sinai in the first month of the second year after they came out of Egypt. He said,
  2. "Have the Israelites celebrate the Passover at the appointed time.
  3. Celebrate it at the appointed time, at twilight on the fourteenth day of this month, in accordance with all its rules and regulations."
  4. So Moses told the Israelites to celebrate the Passover,
  5. and they did so in the Desert of Sinai at twilight on the fourteenth day of the first month. The Israelites did everything just as the LORD commanded Moses.
  1. エジプト の 國を 出て 第二年目の 第一月に， 主は シナイ の 荒野で モ ― セ に 告げて 仰せられた．
  2. 「イスラエル 人は， 定められた 時に， 過越のいけにえをささげよ．
  3. あなたがたはこの 月の 十四日の 夕暮れ， その 定められた 時に， それをささげなければならない． そのすべてのおきてとすべての 定めに 從って， それをしなければならない． 」
  4. そこで モ ― セ は イスラエル 人に， 過越のいけにえをささげるように 命じたので，
  5. 彼らは シナイ の 荒野で 第一月の 十四日の 夕暮れに 過越のいけにえをささげた． イスラエル 人はすべて 主が モ ― セ に 命じられたとおりに 行なった．
  1. But some of them could not celebrate the Passover on that day because they were ceremonially unclean on account of a dead body. So they came to Moses and Aaron that same day
  2. and said to Moses, "We have become unclean because of a dead body, but why should we be kept from presenting the LORD's offering with the other Israelites at the appointed time?"
  3. Moses answered them, "Wait until I find out what the LORD commands concerning you."
  4. Then the LORD said to Moses,
  5. "Tell the Israelites: 'When any of you or your descendants are unclean because of a dead body or are away on a journey, they may still celebrate the LORD's Passover.
  1. しかし， 人の 死體によって 身を 汚し， その 日に 過越のいけにえをささげることができなかった 人¿がいた． 彼らはその 日， モ ― セ と アロン の 前に 近づいた．

  5. 「イスラエル 人に 告げて 言え． あなたがたの， またはあなたがたの 子孫のうちでだれかが， もし 死體によって 身を 汚しているか， 遠い 旅路にあるなら， その 人は 主に 過越のいけにえをささげなければならない．
  1. They are to celebrate it on the fourteenth day of the second month at twilight. They are to eat the lamb, together with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.
  2. They must not leave any of it till morning or break any of its bones. When they celebrate the Passover, they must follow all the regulations.
  3. But if a man who is ceremonially clean and not on a journey fails to celebrate the Passover, that person must be cut off from his people because he did not present the LORD's offering at the appointed time. That man will bear the consequences of his sin.
  4. " 'An alien living among you who wants to celebrate the LORD's Passover must do so in accordance with its rules and regulations. You must have the same regulations for the alien and the native-born.' "
  5. On the day the tabernacle, the Tent of the Testimony, was set up, the cloud covered it. From evening till morning the cloud above the tabernacle looked like fire.
  1. 第二月の 十四日の 夕暮れに， それをささげなければならない． 種を 入れない パン と 苦菜といっしょにそれを 食べなければならない．
  2. そのうちの 少しでも 朝まで 殘してはならない． またその 骨を 一本でも 折ってはならない． すべて 過越のいけにえのおきてに 從ってそれをささげなければならない．
  3. 身がきよく， また 旅にも 出ていない 者が， 過越のいけにえをささげることをやめたなら， その 者はその 民から 斷ち 切られなければならない． その 者は 定められた 時に， 主へのささげ 物をささげなかったのであるから， 自分の 罪を 負わなければならない．
  4. もし， あなたがたのところに 異國人が 在留していて， 主に 過越のいけにえをささげようとするなら， 過越のいけにえのおきてと， その 定めとに 從ってささげなければならない． 在留異國人にも， この 國に 生まれた 者にも， あなたがたには， おきては 一つである． 」
  5. 幕屋を 建てた 日， 雲があかしの 天幕である 幕屋をおおった． それは， 夕方には 幕屋の 上にあって 火のようなものになり， 朝まであった．
  1. That is how it continued to be; the cloud covered it, and at night it looked like fire.
  2. Whenever the cloud lifted from above the Tent, the Israelites set out; wherever the cloud settled, the Israelites encamped.
  3. At the LORD's command the Israelites set out, and at his command they encamped. As long as the cloud stayed over the tabernacle, they remained in camp.
  4. When the cloud remained over the tabernacle a long time, the Israelites obeyed the LORD's order and did not set out.
  5. Sometimes the cloud was over the tabernacle only a few days; at the LORD's command they would encamp, and then at his command they would set out.
  1. いつもこのようであって， ¿は 雲がそれをおおい， 夜は 火のように 見えた．
  2. 雲が 天幕を 離れて 上ると， すぐそのあとで， イスラエル 人はいつも 旅立った． そして， 雲がとどまるその 場所で， イスラエル 人は 宿營していた．
  3. 主の 命令によって， イスラエル 人は 旅立ち， 主の 命令によって 宿營した． 雲が 幕屋の 上にとどまっている 間， 彼らは 宿營していた．

  1. Sometimes the cloud stayed only from evening till morning, and when it lifted in the morning, they set out. Whether by day or by night, whenever the cloud lifted, they set out.
  2. Whether the cloud stayed over the tabernacle for two days or a month or a year, the Israelites would remain in camp and not set out; but when it lifted, they would set out.
  3. At the LORD's command they encamped, and at the LORD's command they set out. They obeyed the LORD's order, in accordance with his command through Moses.
  1. 雲が 夕方から 朝までとどまるようなときがあっても， 朝になって 雲が 上れば， 彼らはただちに 旅立った． ¿でも， 夜でも， 雲が 上れば， 彼らはいつも 旅立った．
  2. 二日でも， 一月でも， あるいは 一年でも， 雲が 幕屋の 上にとどまって 去らなければ， イスラエル 人は 宿營して 旅立たなかった． ただ 雲が 上ったときだけ 旅立った．
  3. 彼らは 主の 命令によって 宿營し， 主の 命令によって 旅立った． 彼らは モ ― セ を 通して 示された 主の 命令によって， 主の 戒めを 守った．
