요한복음 2:1-2:25

 예수님은 가나의 혼인 잔치에서 물을 포도주로 변화시키는 이적을 행하심으로써 창조적 권능을 나타내셨다. 유월절에 예루살렘에 가신 예수님은 성전을 정결케 하셨으며, 표적을 구하는 유대인들에게 자신의 죽음과 부활을 예고하셨다.
  
  가나의 혼인 잔치(2:1-2:12)    
 
  1. On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus' mother was there,
  2. and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding.
  3. When the wine was gone, Jesus' mother said to him, "They have no more wine."
  4. "Dear woman, why do you involve me?" Jesus replied, "My time has not yet come."
  5. His mother said to the servants, "Do whatever he tells you."
  1. それから 三日目に， ガリラヤ の カナ で 婚禮があって， そこに イエス の 母がいた．
  2. イエス も， また 弟子たちも， その 婚禮に 招かれた．
  3. ぶどう 酒がなくなったとき， 母が イエス に 向かって「ぶどう 酒がありません． 」と 言った．
  4. すると， イエス は 母に 言われた． 「あなたはわたしと 何の 關係があるのでしょう． 女の 方． わたしの 時はまだ 來ていません． 」
  5. 母は 手傳いの 人たちに 言った． 「あの 方が 言われることを， 何でもしてあげてください． 」
  1. Nearby stood six stone water jars, the kind used by the Jews for ceremonial washing, each holding from twenty to thirty gallons.
  2. Jesus said to the servants, "Fill the jars with water"; so they filled them to the brim.
  3. Then he told them, "Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet." They did so,
  4. and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew. Then he called the bridegroom aside
  5. and said, "Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now."
  1. さて， そこには， ユダヤ 人のきよめのしきたりによって， それぞれ 八十 リットル から 百二十 リットル 入りの 石の 水がめが 六つ 置いてあった．
  2. イエス は 彼らに 言われた． 「水がめに 水を 滿たしなさい． 」彼らは 水がめを 緣までいっぱいにした．
  3. イエス は 彼らに 言われた． 「さあ， 今くみなさい． そして 宴會の 世話役のところに 持って 行きなさい． 」彼らは 持って 行った．
  4. 宴會の 世話役はぶどう 酒になったその 水を 味わってみた． それがどこから 來たのか， 知らなかったので， ··しかし， 水をくんだ 手傳いの 者たちは 知っていた． ··彼は， 花¿を 呼んで，
  5. 言った． 「だれでも 初めに 良いぶどう 酒を 出し， 人¿が 十分飮んだころになると， 惡いのを 出すものだが， あなたは 良いぶどう 酒をよくも 今まで 取っておきました． 」
  1. This, the first of his miraculous signs, Jesus performed in Cana of Galilee. He thus revealed his glory, and his disciples put their faith in him.
  2. After this he went down to Capernaum with his mother and brothers and his disciples. There they stayed for a few days.
  1. イエス はこのことを 最初のしるしとして ガリラヤ の カナ で 行ない， ご 自分の 榮光を 現わされた． それで， 弟子たちは イエス を 信じた．
  2. その 後， イエス は 母や 兄弟たちや 弟子たちといっしょに， カペナウム に 下って 行き， 長い 日數ではなかったが， そこに 滯在された．
 
  성전 정화(2:13-2:25)    
 
  1. When it was almost time for the Jewish Passover, Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
  2. In the temple courts he found men selling cattle, sheep and doves, and others sitting at tables exchanging money.
  3. So he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple area, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables.
  4. To those who sold doves he said, "Get these out of here! How dare you turn my Father's house into a market!"
  5. His disciples remembered that it is written: "Zeal for your house will consume me."
  1. ユダヤ 人の 過越の 祭りが 近づき， イエス は エルサレム に 上られた．
  2. そして， 宮の 中に， 牛や 羊や 鳩を 賣る 者たちと 兩替人たちがすわっているのをご 覽になり，
  3. 細なわでむちを 作って， 羊も 牛もみな， 宮から 追い 出し， 兩替人の 金を 散らし， その 台を 倒し，
  4. また， 鳩を 賣る 者に 言われた． 「それをここから 持って 行け． わたしの 父の 家を 商賣の 家としてはならない． 」
  5. 弟子たちは， 「あなたの 家を 思う 熱心がわたしを 食い 盡くす． 」と 書いてあるのを 思い 起こした．
  1. Then the Jews demanded of him, "What miraculous sign can you show us to prove your authority to do all this?"
  2. Jesus answered them, "Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days."
  3. The Jews replied, "It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and you are going to raise it in three days?"
  4. But the temple he had spoken of was his body.
  5. After he was raised from the dead, his disciples recalled what he had said. Then they believed the Scripture and the words that Jesus had spoken.
  1. そこで， ユダヤ 人たちが 答えて 言った． 「あなたがこのようなことをするからには， どんなしるしを 私たちに 見せてくれるのですか． 」
  2. イエス は 彼らに 答えて 言われた． 「この 神殿をこわしてみなさい． わたしは， 三日でそれを 建てよう． 」
  3. そこで， ユダヤ 人たちは 言った． 「この 神殿は 建てるのに 四十六年かかりました． あなたはそれを， 三日で 建てるのですか． 」
  4. しかし， イエス はご 自分のからだの 神殿のことを 言われたのである．
  5. それで， イエス が 死人の 中からよみがえられたとき， 弟子たちは， イエス がこのように 言われたことを 思い 起こして， 聖書と イエス が 言われたことばとを 信じた．
  1. Now while he was in Jerusalem at the Passover Feast, many people saw the miraculous signs he was doing and believed in his name.
  2. But Jesus would not entrust himself to them, for he knew all men.
  3. He did not need man's testimony about man, for he knew what was in a man.
  1. イエス が， 過越の 祭りの 祝いの 間， エルサレム におられたとき， 多くの 人¿が， イエス の 行なわれたしるしを 見て， 御名を 信じた．
  2. しかし， イエス は， ご 自身を 彼らにお 任せにならなかった． なぜなら， イエス はすべての 人を 知っておられたからであり，
  3. また， イエス はご 自身で， 人のうちにあるものを 知っておられたので， 人についてだれの 證言も 必要とされなかったからである．
