사도행전 14:8-14:28

 루스드라에서 바울은 앉은뱅이를 고치는 사건을 기화 삼아 더욱 강력히 복음을 전파할 수 있었다. 이에 유대인들의 핍박은 극에 달했고, 바울과 바나바는 생명의 위협을 받는 가운데 더베에서 복음을 전하고 파송지인 수리아의 안디옥 교회로 귀환하였다.
  
  루스드라에서의 사역(14:8-14:18)    
 
  1. In Lystra there sat a man crippled in his feet, who was lame from birth and had never walked.
  2. He listened to Paul as he was speaking. Paul looked directly at him, saw that he had faith to be healed
  3. and called out, "Stand up on your feet!" At that, the man jumped up and began to walk.
  4. When the crowd saw what Paul had done, they shouted in the Lycaonian language, "The gods have come down to us in human form!"
  5. Barnabas they called Zeus, and Paul they called Hermes because he was the chief speaker.
  1. ルステラ でのことであるが， ある 足のきかない 人がすわっていた． 彼は 生まれながらの 足なえで， 步いたことがなかった．
  2. この 人が パウロ の 話すことに 耳を 傾けていた． パウロ は 彼に 目を 留め， いやされる 信仰があるのを 見て，
  3. 大聲で， 「自分の 足で， まっすぐに 立ちなさい． 」と 言った． すると 彼は 飛び 上がって， 步き 出した．
  4. パウロ のしたことを 見た 群衆は， 聲を 張り 上げ， ルカオニヤ 語で， 「神¿が 人間の 姿をとって， 私たちのところにお 下りになったのだ． 」と 言った．
  5. そして， バルナバ を ゼウス と 呼び， パウロ がおもに 話す 人であったので， パウロ を ヘルメス と 呼んだ．
  1. The priest of Zeus, whose temple was just outside the city, brought bulls and wreaths to the city gates because he and the crowd wanted to offer sacrifices to them.
  2. But when the apostles Barnabas and Paul heard of this, they tore their clothes and rushed out into the crowd, shouting:
  3. "Men, why are you doing this? We too are only men, human like you. We are bringing you good news, telling you to turn from these worthless things to the living God, who made heaven and earth and sea and everything in them.
  4. In the past, he let all nations go their own way.
  5. Yet he has not left himself without testimony: He has shown kindness by giving you rain from heaven and crops in their seasons; he provides you with plenty of food and fills your hearts with joy."
  1. すると， 町の 門の 前にある ゼウス 神殿の 祭司は， 雄牛數頭と 花飾りを 門の 前に 携えて 來て， 群衆といっしょに， いけにえをささげようとした．
  2. これを 聞いた 使徒たち， バルナバ と パウロ は， 衣を 裂いて， 群衆の 中に 驅け ¿み， 叫びながら，
  3. 言った． 「皆さん． どうしてこんなことをするのですか． 私たちも 皆さんと 同じ 人間です． そして， あなたがたがこのようなむなしいことを 捨てて， 天と 地と 海とその 中にあるすべてのものをお 造りになった 生ける 神に 立ち 返るように， 福音を 宣べ 傳えている 者たちです．
  4. 過ぎ 去った 時代には， 神はあらゆる 國の 人¿がそれぞれ 自分の 道を 步むことを 許しておられました．
  5. とはいえ， ご 自身のことをあかししないでおられたのではありません． すなわち， 惠みをもって， 天から 雨を 降らせ， 實りの 季節を 與え， 食物と 喜びとで， あなたがたの 心を 滿たしてくださったのです． 」
  1. Even with these words, they had difficulty keeping the crowd from sacrificing to them.
  1. こう 言って， ようやくのことで， 群衆が 彼らにいけにえをささげるのをやめさせた．
 
  안디옥으로의 귀환(14:19-14:28)    
 
  1. Then some Jews came from Antioch and Iconium and won the crowd over. They stoned Paul and dragged him outside the city, thinking he was dead.
  2. But after the disciples had gathered around him, he got up and went back into the city. The next day he and Barnabas left for Derbe.
  3. They preached the good news in that city and won a large number of disciples. Then they returned to Lystra, Iconium and Antioch,
  4. strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith. "We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God," they said.
  5. Paul and Barnabas appointed elders for them in each church and, with prayer and fasting, committed them to the Lord, in whom they had put their trust.
  1. ところが， アンテオケ と イコニオム から ユダヤ 人たちが 來て， 群衆を 抱き ¿み， パウロ を 石打ちにし， 死んだものと 思って， 町の 外に 引きずり 出した．
  2. しかし， 弟子たちが パウロ を 取り 圍んでいると， 彼は 立ち 上がって 町にはいって 行った． その 翌日， 彼は バルナバ とともに デルベ に 向かった．
  3. 彼らはその 町で 福音を 宣べ， 多くの 人を 弟子としてから， ルステラ と イコニオム と アンテオケ とに 引き 返して，
  4. 弟子たちの 心を 强め， この 信仰にしっかりとどまるように 勸め， 「私たちが 神の 國にはいるには， 多くの 苦しみを 經なければならない． 」と 言った．
  5. また， 彼らのために 敎會ごとに 長老たちを 選び， 斷食をして 祈って 後， 彼らをその 信じていた 主にゆだねた．
  1. After going through Pisidia, they came into Pamphylia,
  2. and when they had preached the word in Perga, they went down to Attalia.
  3. From Attalia they sailed back to Antioch, where they had been committed to the grace of God for the work they had now completed.
  4. On arriving there, they gathered the church together and reported all that God had done through them and how he had opened the door of faith to the Gentiles.
  5. And they stayed there a long time with the disciples.
  1. ふたりは ピシデヤ を 通って パンフリヤ に 着き，
  2. ペルガ でみことばを 語ってから， アタリヤ に 下り，
  3. そこから 船で アンテオケ に 歸った． そこは， 彼らがいま 成し 遂げた ¿きのために， 以前神の 惠みにゆだねられて 送り 出された 所であった．
  4. そこに 着くと， 敎會の 人¿を 集め， 神が 彼らとともにいて 行なわれたすべてのことと， 異邦人に 信仰の 門を 開いてくださったこととを 報告した．
  5. そして， 彼らはかなり 長い 期間を 弟子たちとともに 過ごした．
