역대상 9:1-10:14

 포로 귀환 후 예루살렘에 거주하게 된 지파들과 귀환한 제사장, 레위인들, 그리고 사울의 족보가 기록되어 있다. 하나님 앞에 범죄한 사울은 블레셋과의 전투에서 패배함으로써 스스로 자살하는 비극적인 최후를 맞았다.
  
  포로 귀환자들(9:1-9:34)    
 
  1. All Israel was listed in the genealogies recorded in the book of the kings of Israel. The people of Judah were taken captive to Babylon because of their unfaithfulness.
  2. Now the first to resettle on their own property in their own towns were some Israelites, priests, Levites and temple servants.
  3. Those from Judah, from Benjamin, and from Ephraim and Manasseh who lived in Jerusalem were:
  4. Uthai son of Ammihud, the son of Omri, the son of Imri, the son of Bani, a descendant of Perez son of Judah.
  5. Of the Shilonites: Asaiah the firstborn and his sons.
  1. 全 イスラエル は 系圖に 載せられた． それは イスラエル の 王たちの 書にまさしくしるされている． ユダ は， 不信の 罪のために， バビロン に 捕え 移されていた．

  4. The people from Benjamin, as listed in their genealogy, numbered 956. All these men were heads of their families.
  5. Of the priests: Jedaiah; Jehoiarib; Jakin;

  1. Azariah son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, the official in charge of the house of God;
  2. Adaiah son of Jeroham, the son of Pashhur, the son of Malkijah; and Maasai son of Adiel, the son of Jahzerah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Meshillemith, the son of Immer.
  3. The priests, who were heads of families, numbered 1,760. They were able men, responsible for ministering in the house of God.
  4. Of the Levites: Shemaiah son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, a Merarite;
  5. Bakbakkar, Heresh, Galal and Mattaniah son of Mica, the son of Zicri, the son of Asaph;

  1. Obadiah son of Shemaiah, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun; and Berekiah son of Asa, the son of Elkanah, who lived in the villages of the Netophathites.
  2. The gatekeepers: Shallum, Akkub, Talmon, Ahiman and their brothers, Shallum their chief
  3. being stationed at the King's Gate on the east, up to the present time. These were the gatekeepers belonging to the camp of the Levites.
  4. Shallum son of Kore, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah, and his fellow gatekeepers from his family (the Korahites) were responsible for guarding the thresholds of the Tent just as their fathers had been responsible for guarding the entrance to the dwelling of the LORD.
  5. In earlier times Phinehas son of Eleazar was in charge of the gatekeepers, and the LORD was with him.
  1. オバデヤ ． 彼は エドトン の 子 ガラル の 子 シェマヤ の 子． それに ベレクヤ ． 彼は ネトファ 人の 村¿に 住んだ エルカナ の 子 アサ の 子．

  1. Zechariah son of Meshelemiah was the gatekeeper at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.
  2. Altogether, those chosen to be gatekeepers at the thresholds numbered 212. They were registered by genealogy in their villages. The gatekeepers had been assigned to their positions of trust by David and Samuel the seer.
  3. They and their descendants were in charge of guarding the gates of the house of the LORD -the house called the Tent.
  4. The gatekeepers were on the four sides: east, west, north and south.
  5. Their brothers in their villages had to come from time to time and share their duties for seven-day periods.
  1. メシェレムヤ の 子 ゼカリヤ は 會見の 天幕の 戶口を 守る 門衛であった．
  2. 入口にいる 門衛として 選ばれたこれらの 人¿は， 全部で 二百十二人であった． 彼らは， 彼らの 村¿で 系圖に 載せられた． ダビデ と 予見者 サムエル が 彼らの 職責を 定めたのである．

  1. But the four principal gatekeepers, who were Levites, were entrusted with the responsibility for the rooms and treasuries in the house of God.
  2. They would spend the night stationed around the house of God, because they had to guard it; and they had charge of the key for opening it each morning.
  3. Some of them were in charge of the articles used in the temple service; they counted them when they were brought in and when they were taken out.
  4. Others were assigned to take care of the furnishings and all the other articles of the sanctuary, as well as the flour and wine, and the oil, incense and spices.
  5. But some of the priests took care of mixing the spices.
  1. その 職責では， 彼らは， 門衛の 勇士たちの 四人で， レビ 人であり， 脇部屋および 神の 宮の 寶物倉をつかさどった．

  1. A Levite named Mattithiah, the firstborn son of Shallum the Korahite, was entrusted with the responsibility for baking the offering bread.
  2. Some of their Kohathite brothers were in charge of preparing for every Sabbath the bread set out on the table.
  3. Those who were musicians, heads of Levite families, stayed in the rooms of the temple and were exempt from other duties because they were responsible for the work day and night.
  4. All these were heads of Levite families, chiefs as listed in their genealogy, and they lived in Jerusalem.
  1. レビ 人のひとり， コラ 人 シャルム の 長男 マティテヤ は， その 職責として 手なべの 仕事をつかさどった．
  2. また， ケハテ 族の 彼らの 同胞のうちには， ¿べ 供える パン をつかさどり， 安息日ごとにこれを 用意する 者たちもいた．
  3. この 人¿は 歌うたいであって， レビ 人の 一族のかしらであり， 各部屋にいて， 自由にされていた． ¿となく 夜となく 彼らはその 仕事に 携わったからである．

  사울의 족보와 죽음(9:35-10:14)    
 
  1. Jeiel the father of Gibeon lived in Gibeon. His wife's name was Maacah,
  2. and his firstborn son was Abdon, followed by Zur, Kish, Baal, Ner, Nadab,
  3. Gedor, Ahio, Zechariah and Mikloth.
  4. Mikloth was the father of Shimeam. They too lived near their relatives in Jerusalem.
  5. Ner was the father of Kish, Kish the father of Saul, and Saul the father of Jonathan, Malki-Shua, Abinadab and Esh-Baal.
  1. ギブオン には ギブオン の 父 エイエル が 住んだ． その 妻の 名は マアカ ．
  2. その 子は， 長子が アブドン ， それに ツル ， キシュ ， バアル ， ネル ， ナダブ ，
  3. ゲドル ， アフヨ ， ゼカリヤ ， ミクロテ ．
  4. ミクロテ は シムアム を 生んだ． 彼らも， その 兄弟たちとともに エルサレム に 住み， その 兄弟たちのすぐ 前にいた．

  1. The son of Jonathan: Merib-Baal, who was the father of Micah.
  2. The sons of Micah: Pithon, Melech, Tahrea and Ahaz.
  3. Ahaz was the father of Jadah, Jadah was the father of Alemeth, Azmaveth and Zimri, and Zimri was the father of Moza.
  4. Moza was the father of Binea; Rephaiah was his son, Eleasah his son and Azel his son.
  5. Azel had six sons, and these were their names: Azrikam, Bokeru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah and Hanan. These were the sons of Azel.
  1. ヨナタン の 子は メリブ · バアル ． メリブ · バアル は ミカ を 生んだ．
  2. ミカ の 子は， ピトン ， メレク ， タフレア ．
  3. アハズ は ヤラ を 生み， ヤラ は， アレメテ ， アズマベテ ， ジムリ を 生み， ジムリ は モツァ を 生んだ．
  4. モツァ は ビヌア を 生んだ． その 子は レファヤ ， その 子は エルアサ ， その 子は アツェル ．
  5. アツェル には 六人の 子がいた． その 名まえは 次のとおりである． アズリカム ， ボクル ， イシュマエル ， シェアルヤ ， オバデヤ ， ハナン ． これらは アツェル の 子であった．
 
 
  1. Now the Philistines fought against Israel; the Israelites fled before them, and many fell slain on Mount Gilboa.
  2. The Philistines pressed hard after Saul and his sons, and they killed his sons Jonathan, Abinadab and Malki-Shua.
  3. The fighting grew fierce around Saul, and when the archers overtook him, they wounded him.
  4. Saul said to his armor-bearer, "Draw your sword and run me through, or these uncircumcised fellows will come and abuse me." But his armor-bearer was terrified and would not do it; so Saul took his own sword and fell on it.
  5. When the armor-bearer saw that Saul was dead, he too fell on his sword and died.
  1. ペリシテ 人は イスラエル と 戰った． そのとき イスラエル 人は， ペリシテ 人の 前から 逃げ， ギルボア 山で 刺し 殺されて 倒れた．
  2. ペリシテ 人は サウル とその 息子たちに 追い 迫って， サウル の 息子 ヨナタン ， アビナダブ ， マルキ · シュア を 打ち 殺した．
  3. 攻擊は サウル に 集中し， 射手たちが 彼をねらい 擊ちにしたので， 彼は 射手たちのために 傷を 負った．
  4. サウル は， 道具持ちに 言った． 「おまえの 劍を 拔いて， それで 私を 刺し 殺してくれ． あの 割禮を 受けていない 者どもがやって 來て， 私をなぶり 者にするといけないから． 」しかし， 道具持ちは， 非常に 恐れて， とてもその 氣になれなかった． そこで， サウル は 劍を 取り， その 上にうつぶせに 倒れた．
  5. 道具持ちも， サウル の 死んだのを 見屆けると， 劍の 上にうつぶせに 倒れて 死んだ．
  1. So Saul and his three sons died, and all his house died together.
  2. When all the Israelites in the valley saw that the army had fled and that Saul and his sons had died, they abandoned their towns and fled. And the Philistines came and occupied them.
  3. The next day, when the Philistines came to strip the dead, they found Saul and his sons fallen on Mount Gilboa.
  4. They stripped him and took his head and his armor, and sent messengers throughout the land of the Philistines to proclaim the news among their idols and their people.
  5. They put his armor in the temple of their gods and hung up his head in the temple of Dagon.
  1. こうして サウル は 死に， 彼の 三人の 息子も， 彼の 全家も， 共に 死んだ．
  2. 谷にいた イスラエル 人はみな， 彼らが 逃げ， サウル とその 息子たちが 死んだのを 見て， 彼らの 町¿を 捨てて 逃げた． それで， ペリシテ 人がやって 來て， そこに 住んだ．
  3. 翌日， ペリシテ 人が， その 殺した 者たちからはぎ 取ろうとしてやって 來たとき， サウル とその 息子たちが ギルボア 山で 倒れているのを 見つけた．

  1. When all the inhabitants of Jabesh Gilead heard of everything the Philistines had done to Saul,
  2. all their valiant men went and took the bodies of Saul and his sons and brought them to Jabesh. Then they buried their bones under the great tree in Jabesh, and they fasted seven days.
  3. Saul died because he was unfaithful to the LORD; he did not keep the word of the LORD and even consulted a medium for guidance,
  4. and did not inquire of the LORD. So the LORD put him to death and turned the kingdom over to David son of Jesse.
  1. 全 ヤベシュ · ギルアデ が， ペリシテ 人の サウル に 對するしうちをことごとく 聞いたとき，
  2. 勇士たちはみな， 立ち 上がり， サウル のなきがらとその 息子たちのなきがらとを 取り 上げ， これを ヤベシュ に 運んで， 彼らの 骨を ヤベシュ にある ¿の 木の 下に 葬り， 七日間， 斷食した．
  3. このように， サウル は 主に 逆らったみずからの 不信の 罪のために 死んだ． 主のことばを 守らず， そのうえ， 靈媒によって 伺いを 立て，
