갈라디아서 4:21-5:12

 성도들은 하나님의 약속의 자녀들임을 주장하면서 예수님으로부터 받은 자유를 굳세게 유지하여 다시는 노예의 상태로 되돌아가지 말라고 바울은 권면하였다. 그리고 예수님 안에는 오직 사랑으로 역사하는 참믿음만이 존재한다고 하였다.
  
  약속의 자녀(4:21-4:31)    
 
  1. Tell me, you who want to be under the law, are you not aware of what the law says?
  2. For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by the slave woman and the other by the free woman.
  3. His son by the slave woman was born in the ordinary way; but his son by the free woman was born as the result of a promise.
  4. These things may be taken figuratively, for the women represent two covenants. One covenant is from Mount Sinai and bears children who are to be slaves: This is Hagar.
  5. Now Hagar stands for Mount Sinai in Arabia and corresponds to the present city of Jerusalem, because she is in slavery with her children.
  1. 律法の 下にいたいと 思う 人たちは， 私に 答えてください． あなたがたは 律法の 言うことを 聞かないのですか．
  2. そこには， アブラハム にふたりの 子があって， ひとりは 女奴隷から， ひとりは 自由の 女から 生まれた， と 書かれています．
  3. 女奴隷の 子は 肉によって 生まれ， 自由の 女の 子は 約束によって 生まれたのです．
  4. このことには 比喩があります． この 女たちは 二つの 契約です． 一つは シナイ 山から 出ており， 奴隷となる 子を 産みます． その 女は ハガル です．
  5. この ハガル は， アラビヤ にある シナイ 山のことで， 今の エルサレム に 當たります． なぜなら， 彼女はその 子どもたちとともに 奴隷だからです．
  1. But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother.
  2. For it is written: "Be glad, O barren woman, who bears no children; break forth and cry aloud, you who have no labor pains; because more are the children of the desolate woman than of her who has a husband."
  3. Now you, brothers, like Isaac, are children of promise.
  4. At that time the son born in the ordinary way persecuted the son born by the power of the Spirit. It is the same now.
  5. But what does the Scripture say? "Get rid of the slave woman and her son, for the slave woman's son will never share in the inheritance with the free woman's son."
  1. しかし， 上にある エルサレム は 自由であり， 私たちの 母です．
  2. すなわち， こう 書いてあります． 「喜べ． 子を 産まない 不妊の 女よ． 聲をあげて 呼ばわれ． 産みの 苦しみを 知らない 女よ． 夫に 捨てられた 女の 産む 子どもは， 夫のある 女の 産む 子どもよりも 多い． 」
  3. 兄弟たちよ． あなたがたは イサク のように 約束の 子どもです．
  4. しかし， かつて 肉によって 生まれた 者が， 御靈によって 生まれた 者を 迫害したように， 今もそのとおりです．
  5. しかし， 聖書は 何と 言っていますか． 「奴隷の 女とその 子どもを 追い 出せ． 奴隷の 女の 子どもは 決して 自由の 女の 子どもとともに 相續人になってはならない． 」
  1. Therefore, brothers, we are not children of the slave woman, but of the free woman.
  1. こういうわけで， 兄弟たちよ． 私たちは 奴隷の 女の 子どもではなく， 自由の 女の 子どもです．
 
  종의 멍에를 메지 말라(5:1-5:12)    
 
  1. It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
  2. Mark my words! I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no value to you at all.
  3. Again I declare to every man who lets himself be circumcised that he is obligated to obey the whole law.
  4. You who are trying to be justified by law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.
  5. But by faith we eagerly await through the Spirit the righteousness for which we hope.
  1. キリスト は， 自由を 得させるために， 私たちを 解放してくださいました． ですから， あなたがたは， しっかり 立って， またと 奴隷のくびきを 負わせられないようにしなさい．
  2. よく 聞いてください． この パウロ があなたがたに 言います． もし， あなたがたが 割禮を 受けるなら， キリスト は， あなたがたにとって， 何の 益もないのです．
  3. 割禮を 受けるすべての 人に， 私は 再びあかしします． その 人は 律法の 全體を 行なう 義務があります．
  4. 律法によって 義と 認められようとしているあなたがたは， キリスト から 離れ， 惠みから 落ちてしまったのです．
  5. 私たちは， 信仰により， 御靈によって， 義をいただく 望みを 熱心に 抱いているのです．
  1. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.
  2. You were running a good race. Who cut in on you and kept you from obeying the truth?
  3. That kind of persuasion does not come from the one who calls you.
  4. "A little yeast works through the whole batch of dough."
  5. I am confident in the Lord that you will take no other view. The one who is throwing you into confusion will pay the penalty, whoever he may be.
  1. キリスト · イエス にあっては， 割禮を 受ける 受けないは 大事なことではなく， 愛によって ¿く 信仰だけが 大事なのです．
  2. あなたがたはよく 走っていたのに， だれがあなたがたを 妨げて， 眞理に 從わなくさせたのですか．
  3. そのような 勸めは， あなたがたを 召してくださった 方から 出たものではありません．
  4. わずかの パン 種が， こねた 粉の 全體を 發酵させるのです．
  5. 私は 主にあって， あなたがたが 少しも 違った 考えを 持っていないと 確信しています． しかし， あなたがたをかき 亂す 者は， だれであろうと， さばきを 受けるのです．
  1. Brothers, if I am still preaching circumcision, why am I still being persecuted? In that case the offense of the cross has been abolished.
  2. As for those agitators, I wish they would go the whole way and emasculate themselves!
  1. 兄弟たち． もし 私が 今でも 割禮を 宣べ 傳えているなら， どうして 今なお 迫害を 受けることがありましょう． それなら， 十字架のつまずきは 取り 除かれているはずです．
  2. あなたがたをかき 亂す 者どもは， いっそのこと 不具になってしまうほうがよいのです．
