예레미야 33:1-34:22

 하나님께서는 이스라엘과 유다 민족이 포로에서 해방될 것과 메시아를 통해 그들을 영원히 회복시켜 주실 것을 약속하셨다. 이 위로의 메시지를 전하고 난 후 예레미야는 유다의 함락과 시드기야의 포로됨과 죽음에 관해 예언하였고, 동족을 노예로 삼는 악행을 저질러 하나님의 규례를 어긴 유다 방백들과 백성들이 당할 징벌을 예고하였다.
  
  회복의 약속(33:1-33:26)    
 
  1. While Jeremiah was still confined in the courtyard of the guard, the word of the LORD came to him a second time:
  2. "This is what the LORD says, he who made the earth, the LORD who formed it and established it--the LORD is his name:
  3. 'Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.'
  4. For this is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says about the houses in this city and the royal palaces of Judah that have been torn down to be used against the siege ramps and the sword
  5. in the fight with the Babylonians : 'They will be filled with the dead bodies of the men I will slay in my anger and wrath. I will hide my face from this city because of all its wickedness.
  1. エレミヤ がまだ 監視の 庭に 閉じ ¿められていたとき， 再び エレミヤ に 次のような 主のことばがあった．
  2. 「地を 造られた 主， それを 形造って 確立させた 主， その 名は 主である 方がこう 仰せられる．
  3. わたしを 呼べ． そうすれば， わたしは， あなたに 答え， あなたの 知らない， 理解を 越えた 大いなる 事を， あなたに 告げよう．
  4. まことに イスラエル の 神， 主は， 壘と 劍で 引き 倒されるこの 町の 家¿と， ユダ の 王たちの 家¿について， こう 仰せられる．
  5. 彼らは カルデヤ 人と 戰おうとして 出て 行くが， 彼らはわたしの 怒りと 憤りによって 打ち 殺されたしかばねをその 家¿に 滿たす． それは， 彼らのすべての 惡のために， わたしがこの 町から 顔を 隱したからだ．
  1. " 'Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security.
  2. I will bring Judah and Israel back from captivity and will rebuild them as they were before.
  3. I will cleanse them from all the sin they have committed against me and will forgive all their sins of rebellion against me.
  4. Then this city will bring me renown, joy, praise and honor before all nations on earth that hear of all the good things I do for it; and they will be in awe and will tremble at the abundant prosperity and peace I provide for it.'
  5. "This is what the LORD says: 'You say about this place, "It is a desolate waste, without men or animals." Yet in the towns of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem that are deserted, inhabited by neither men nor animals, there will be heard once more
  1. 見よ． わたしはこの 町の 傷をいやして 直し， 彼らをいやして 彼らに 平安と 眞實を 豊かに 示す．
  2. わたしは ユダ の 捕われ 人と， イスラエル の 捕われ 人を 歸し， 初めのように 彼らを 建て 直す．

  5. 主はこう 仰せられる． 「あなたがたが， 『人間も 家畜もいなくて 廢墟となった． 』と 言っているこの 所， 人間も 住民も 家畜もいなくて 荒れすたれた ユダ の 町¿と エルサレム のちまたで，
  1. the sounds of joy and gladness, the voices of bride and bridegroom, and the voices of those who bring thank offerings to the house of the LORD, saying, "Give thanks to the LORD Almighty, for the LORD is good; his love endures forever." For I will restore the fortunes of the land as they were before,' says the LORD.
  2. "This is what the LORD Almighty says: 'In this place, desolate and without men or animals--in all its towns there will again be pastures for shepherds to rest their flocks.
  3. In the towns of the hill country, of the western foothills and of the Negev, in the territory of Benjamin, in the villages around Jerusalem and in the towns of Judah, flocks will again pass under the hand of the one who counts them,' says the LORD.
  4. " 'The days are coming,' declares the LORD, 'when I will fulfill the gracious promise I made to the house of Israel and to the house of Judah.
  5. " 'In those days and at that time I will make a righteous Branch sprout from David's line; he will do what is just and right in the land.
  1. 樂しみの 聲と 喜びの 聲， 花¿の 聲と 花嫁の 聲， 『万軍の 主に 感謝せよ． 主はいつくしみ 深く， その 惠みはとこしえまで． 』と 言って， 主の 宮に 感謝のいけにえを 携えて 來る 人たちの 聲が 再び 聞こえる． それは， わたしがこの 國の 捕われ 人を 歸らせ， 初めのようにするからである． 」と 主は 仰せられる．
  2. 万軍の 主はこう 仰せられる． 「人間も 家畜もいなくて 廢墟となったこの 所と， そのすべの 町¿に， 再び， 群れを 伏させる 牧者たちの 住まいができる．
  3. この 山の 町¿でも， 低地の 町¿， ネゲブ の 町¿， ベニヤミン の 地， エルサレム 近郊， ユダ の 町¿でも， 再び 群れが， 數を 數える 者の 手を 通り 過ぎる． 」と 主は 仰せられる．
  4. 「見よ． その 日が 來る． ··主の 御告げ． ··その 日， わたしは， イスラエル の 家と ユダ の 家に 語ったいつくしみのことばを 成就する．
  5. その 日， その 時， わたしは ダビデ のために 正義の 若枝を 芽生えさせる． 彼はこの 國に 公義と 正義を 行なう．
  1. In those days Judah will be saved and Jerusalem will live in safety. This is the name by which it will be called: The LORD Our Righteousness.'
  2. For this is what the LORD says: 'David will never fail to have a man to sit on the throne of the house of Israel,
  3. nor will the priests, who are Levites, ever fail to have a man to stand before me continually to offer burnt offerings, to burn grain offerings and to present sacrifices.' "
  4. The word of the LORD came to Jeremiah:
  5. "This is what the LORD says: 'If you can break my covenant with the day and my covenant with the night, so that day and night no longer come at their appointed time,
  1. その 日， ユダ は 救われ， エルサレム は 安らかに 住み， こうしてこの 町は， 『主は 私たちの 正義 』と 名づけられる． 」

  4. エレミヤ に 次のような 主のことばがあった．
  5. 「主はこう 仰せられる． もし， あなたがたが， ¿と 結んだわたしの 契約と， 夜と 結んだわたしの 契約とを 破ることができ， ¿と 夜とが 定まった 時に 來ないようにすることができるなら，
  1. then my covenant with David my servant--and my covenant with the Levites who are priests ministering before me--can be broken and David will no longer have a descendant to reign on his throne.
  2. I will make the descendants of David my servant and the Levites who minister before me as countless as the stars of the sky and as measureless as the sand on the seashore.' "
  3. The word of the LORD came to Jeremiah:
  4. "Have you not noticed that these people are saying, 'The LORD has rejected the two kingdoms he chose'? So they despise my people and no longer regard them as a nation.
  5. This is what the LORD says: 'If I have not established my covenant with day and night and the fixed laws of heaven and earth,
  1. わたしのしもべ ダビデ と 結んだわたしの 契約も 破られ， 彼には， その 王座に 着く 子がいなくなり， わたしに 仕える レビ 人の 祭司たちとのわたしの 契約も 破られよう．
  2. 天の 万象が 數えきれず， 海の 砂が 量れないように， わたしは， わたしのしもべ ダビデ の 子孫と， わたしに 仕える レビ 人とをふやす． 」
  3. エレミヤ に 次のような 主のことばがあった．
  4. 「あなたは， この 民が， 『主は 選んだ 二つの 部族を 退けた． 』と 言って 話しているのを 知らないのか． 彼らはわたしの 民をもはや 一つの 民ではないと 見なして 侮っている． 」
  5. 主はこう 仰せられる． 「もしわたしが ¿と 夜とに 契約を 結ばず， 天と 地との 諸法則をわたしが 定めなかったのなら，
  1. then I will reject the descendants of Jacob and David my servant and will not choose one of his sons to rule over the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. For I will restore their fortunes and have compassion on them.' "
  1. わたしは， ヤコブ の 子孫と， わたしのしもべ ダビデ の 子孫とを 退け， その 子孫の 中から， アブラハム ， イサク ， ヤコブ の 子孫を 治める 者を 選ばないようなこともあろう． しかし， わたしは 彼らの 捕われ 人を 歸らせ， 彼らをあわれむ． 」
 
  시드기야와 백성들에 대한 경고(34:1-34:22)    
 
  1. While Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and all his army and all the kingdoms and peoples in the empire he ruled were fighting against Jerusalem and all its surrounding towns, this word came to Jeremiah from the LORD :
  2. "This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: Go to Zedekiah king of Judah and tell him, 'This is what the LORD says: I am about to hand this city over to the king of Babylon, and he will burn it down.
  3. You will not escape from his grasp but will surely be captured and handed over to him. You will see the king of Babylon with your own eyes, and he will speak with you face to face. And you will go to Babylon.
  4. " 'Yet hear the promise of the LORD, O Zedekiah king of Judah. This is what the LORD says concerning you: You will not die by the sword;
  5. you will die peacefully. As people made a funeral fire in honor of your fathers, the former kings who preceded you, so they will make a fire in your honor and lament, "Alas, O master!" I myself make this promise, declares the LORD.' "
  1. バビロン の 王 ネブカデレザル と， その 全軍勢， および 彼の 支配下にある 地のすべての 王國とすべての 國¿の 民が， エルサレム とそのすべての 町¿を 攻めていたとき， 主から エレミヤ にあったみことばは， こうである．

  1. Then Jeremiah the prophet told all this to Zedekiah king of Judah, in Jerusalem,
  2. while the army of the king of Babylon was fighting against Jerusalem and the other cities of Judah that were still holding out--Lachish and Azekah. These were the only fortified cities left in Judah.
  3. The word came to Jeremiah from the LORD after King Zedekiah had made a covenant with all the people in Jerusalem to proclaim freedom for the slaves.
  4. Everyone was to free his Hebrew slaves, both male and female; no one was to hold a fellow Jew in bondage.
  5. So all the officials and people who entered into this covenant agreed that they would free their male and female slaves and no longer hold them in bondage. They agreed, and set them free.
  1. そこで 預言者 エレミヤ は， これらすべてのことばを， エルサレム で ユダ の 王 ゼデキヤ に 語った．
  2. そのとき， バビロン の 王の 軍勢は， エルサレム と ユダ の 殘されたすべての 町， ラキシュ と アゼカ を 攻めていた． これらが ユダ の 町¿で 城壁のある 町として 殘っていたからである．

  4. 'Every seventh year each of you must free any fellow Hebrew who has sold himself to you. After he has served you six years, you must let him go free.' Your fathers, however, did not listen to me or pay attention to me.
  5. Recently you repented and did what is right in my sight: Each of you proclaimed freedom to his countrymen. You even made a covenant before me in the house that bears my Name.

  1. But now you have turned around and profaned my name; each of you has taken back the male and female slaves you had set free to go where they wished. You have forced them to become your slaves again.
  2. "Therefore, this is what the LORD says: You have not obeyed me; you have not proclaimed freedom for your fellow countrymen. So I now proclaim 'freedom' for you, declares the LORD -'freedom' to fall by the sword, plague and famine. I will make you abhorrent to all the kingdoms of the earth.
  3. The men who have violated my covenant and have not fulfilled the terms of the covenant they made before me, I will treat like the calf they cut in two and then walked between its pieces.
  4. The leaders of Judah and Jerusalem, the court officials, the priests and all the people of the land who walked between the pieces of the calf,
  5. I will hand over to their enemies who seek their lives. Their dead bodies will become food for the birds of the air and the beasts of the earth.
  1. それなのに， あなたがたは 心を 飜して， わたしの 名を 汚し， いったん 自由の 身にした 奴隷や 女奴隷をかってに 連れ 戾し， 彼らをあなたがたの 奴隷や 女奴隷として 使役した． 』

  3. また， わたしの 前で 結んだ 契約のことばを 守らず， わたしの 契約を 破った 者たちを， 二つに 斷ち 切られた 子牛の 間を 通った 者のようにする．
  4. 二つに 分けた 子牛の 間を 通った 者は， ユダ の 首長たち， エルサレム の 首長たち， 宦官と 祭司と 一般の 全民衆であった．
  5. わたしは 彼らを， 敵の 手， いのちをねらう 者たちの 手に 渡す． そのしかばねは 空の 鳥， 地の ¿のえじきとなる．
  1. "I will hand Zedekiah king of Judah and his officials over to their enemies who seek their lives, to the army of the king of Babylon, which has withdrawn from you.
  2. I am going to give the order, declares the LORD, and I will bring them back to this city. They will fight against it, take it and burn it down. And I will lay waste the towns of Judah so no one can live there."
  1. わたしはまた， ユダ の 王 ゼデキヤ とそのつかさたちを 敵の 手， いのちをねらう 者たちの 手， あなたがたのところから 退却した バビロン の 王の 軍勢の 手に 渡す．
  2. 見よ． わたしは 命じ， ··主の 御告げ． ··彼らをこの 町に 引き 返させる． 彼らはこの 町を 攻め， これを 取り， 火で 燒く． わたしは ユダ の 町¿を， 住む 者もいない 荒れ 果てた 地とする． 』」
 
  비밀한( 33:3)  원어상 의미는 ‘도달할 수 없는 것’인데, 여기서는 하나님의 구속의 능력을 뜻함
