창세기 7:1-8:22

 노아는 방주를 완성한 후 하나님의 명령에 따라 그의 가족과 예비된 모든 생물들을 방주에 들여보냈다. 그 후 40일 동안 비가 내려 물이 온 땅에 덮히므로 지면의 모든 생물들이 죽었다. 물이 걷힌 후 방주에서 나온 노아는 하나님께 번제를 드렸으며, 이에 하나님께서는 다시는 사람으로 인하여 땅을 저주하지 않겠다고 다짐하셨다.
  
  대홍수 심판(7:1-8:22)    
 
  1. The LORD then said to Noah, "Go into the ark, you and your whole family, because I have found you righteous in this generation.
  2. Take with you seven of every kind of clean animal, a male and its mate, and two of every kind of unclean animal, a male and its mate,
  3. and also seven of every kind of bird, male and female, to keep their various kinds alive throughout the earth.
  4. Seven days from now I will send rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights, and I will wipe from the face of the earth every living creature I have made."
  5. And Noah did all that the LORD commanded him.
  1. 主は ノア に 言われた， 「あなたと 家族とはみな 箱舟にはいりなさい． あなたがこの 時代の 人¿の 中で， わたしの 前に 正しい 人であるとわたしは 認めたからである．
  2. あなたはすべての 淸い ¿の 中から 雄と 雌とを 七つずつ 取り， 淸くない ¿の 中から 雄と 雌とを 二つずつ 取り，
  3. また 空の 鳥の 中から 雄と 雌とを 七つずつ 取って， その 種類が 全地のおもてに 生き 殘るようにしなさい．
  4. 七日の 後， わたしは 四十日四十夜， 地に 雨を 降らせて， わたしの 造ったすべての 生き 物を， 地のおもてからぬぐい 去ります 」．
  5. ノア はすべて 主が 命じられたようにした．
  1. Noah was six hundred years old when the floodwaters came on the earth.
  2. And Noah and his sons and his wife and his sons' wives entered the ark to escape the waters of the flood.
  3. Pairs of clean and unclean animals, of birds and of all creatures that move along the ground,
  4. male and female, came to Noah and entered the ark, as God had commanded Noah.
  5. And after the seven days the floodwaters came on the earth.
  1. さて 洪水が 地に 起った 時， ノア は 六百歲であった．
  2. ノア は 子らと， 妻と， 子らの 妻たちと 共に 洪水を 避けて 箱舟にはいった．
  3. また 淸い ¿と， 淸くない ¿と， 鳥と， 地に 這うすべてのものとの，
  4. 雄と 雌とが， 二つずつ ノア のもとにきて， 神が ノア に 命じられたように 箱舟にはいった．
  5. こうして 七日の 後， 洪水が 地に 起った．
  1. In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, on the seventeenth day of the second month--on that day all the springs of the great deep burst forth, and the floodgates of the heavens were opened.
  2. And rain fell on the earth forty days and forty nights.
  3. On that very day Noah and his sons, Shem, Ham and Japheth, together with his wife and the wives of his three sons, entered the ark.
  4. They had with them every wild animal according to its kind, all livestock according to their kinds, every creature that moves along the ground according to its kind and every bird according to its kind, everything with wings.
  5. Pairs of all creatures that have the breath of life in them came to Noah and entered the ark.
  1. それは ノア の 六百歲の 二月十七日であって， その 日に 大いなる 淵の 源は， ことごとく 破れ， 天の 窓が 開けて，
  2. 雨は 四十日四十夜， 地に 降り 注いだ．
  3. その 同じ 日に， ノア と， ノア の 子 セム ， ハム ， ヤペテ と， ノア の 妻と， その 子らの 三人の 妻とは 共に 箱舟にはいった．
  4. またすべての 種類の ¿も， すべての 種類の 家畜も， 地のすべての 種類の 這うものも， すべての 種類の 鳥も， すべての 翼あるものも， 皆はいった．
  5. すなわち 命の 息のあるすべての 肉なるものが， 二つずつ ノア のもとにきて， 箱舟にはいった．
  1. The animals going in were male and female of every living thing, as God had commanded Noah. Then the LORD shut him in.
  2. For forty days the flood kept coming on the earth, and as the waters increased they lifted the ark high above the earth.
  3. The waters rose and increased greatly on the earth, and the ark floated on the surface of the water.
  4. They rose greatly on the earth, and all the high mountains under the entire heavens were covered.
  5. The waters rose and covered the mountains to a depth of more than twenty feet. ,
  1. そのはいったものは， すべて 肉なるものの 雄と 雌とであって， 神が 彼に 命じられたようにはいった． そこで 主は 彼のうしろの 戶を 閉ざされた．
  2. 洪水は 四十日のあいだ 地上にあった． 水が 增して 箱舟を 浮べたので， 箱舟は 地から 高く 上がった．
  3. また 水がみなぎり， 地に 增したので， 箱舟は 水のおもてに 漂った．
  4. 水はまた， ますます 地にみなぎり， 天の 下の 高い 山¿は 皆おおわれた．
  5. 水はその 上， さらに 十五 キュビト みなぎって， 山¿は 全くおおわれた．
  1. Every living thing that moved on the earth perished--birds, livestock, wild animals, all the creatures that swarm over the earth, and all mankind.
  2. Everything on dry land that had the breath of life in its nostrils died.
  3. Every living thing on the face of the earth was wiped out; men and animals and the creatures that move along the ground and the birds of the air were wiped from the earth. Only Noah was left, and those with him in the ark.
  4. The waters flooded the earth for a hundred and fifty days.
  1. 地の 上に 動くすべて 肉なるものは， 鳥も 家畜も ¿も， 地に 群がるすべての 這うものも， すべての 人もみな 滅びた．
  2. すなわち 鼻に 命の 息のあるすべてのもの， 陸にいたすべてのものは 死んだ．
  3. 地のおもてにいたすべての 生き 物は， 人も 家畜も， 這うものも， 空の 鳥もみな 地からぬぐい 去られて， ただ ノア と， 彼と 共に 箱舟にいたものだけが 殘った．
  4. 水は 百五十日のあいだ 地上にみなぎった．
 
 
  1. But God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and the livestock that were with him in the ark, and he sent a wind over the earth, and the waters receded.
  2. Now the springs of the deep and the floodgates of the heavens had been closed, and the rain had stopped falling from the sky.
  3. The water receded steadily from the earth. At the end of the hundred and fifty days the water had gone down,
  4. and on the seventeenth day of the seventh month the ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat.
  5. The waters continued to recede until the tenth month, and on the first day of the tenth month the tops of the mountains became visible.
  1. 神は ノア と， 箱舟の 中にいたすべての 生き 物と， すべての 家畜とを 心にとめられた． 神が 風を 地の 上に 吹かせられたので， 水は 退いた．
  2. また 淵の 源と， 天の 窓とは 閉ざされて， 天から 雨が 降らなくなった．
  3. それで 水はしだいに 地の 上から 引いて， 百五十日の 後には 水が 減り，
  4. 箱舟は 七月十七日に アララテ の 山にとどまった．
  5. 水はしだいに 減って， 十月になり， 十月一日に 山¿の 頂が 現れた．
  1. After forty days Noah opened the window he had made in the ark
  2. and sent out a raven, and it kept flying back and forth until the water had dried up from the earth.
  3. Then he sent out a dove to see if the water had receded from the surface of the ground.
  4. But the dove could find no place to set its feet because there was water over all the surface of the earth; so it returned to Noah in the ark. He reached out his hand and took the dove and brought it back to himself in the ark.
  5. He waited seven more days and again sent out the dove from the ark.
  1. 四十日たって， ノア はその 造った 箱舟の 窓を 開いて，
  2. からすを 放ったところ， からすは 地の 上から 水がかわききるまで， あちらこちらへ 飛びまわった．
  3. ノア はまた 地のおもてから， 水がひいたかどうかを 見ようと， 彼の 所から， はとを 放ったが，
  4. はとは 足の 裏をとどめる 所が 見つからなかったので， 箱舟の ノア のもとに 歸ってきた． 水がまだ 全地のおもてにあったからである． 彼は 手を 伸べて， これを 捕え， 箱舟の 中の 彼のもとに 引き 入れた．
  5. それから 七日待って 再びはとを 箱舟から 放った．
  1. When the dove returned to him in the evening, there in its beak was a freshly plucked olive leaf! Then Noah knew that the water had receded from the earth.
  2. He waited seven more days and sent the dove out again, but this time it did not return to him.
  3. By the first day of the first month of Noah's six hundred and first year, the water had dried up from the earth. Noah then removed the covering from the ark and saw that the surface of the ground was dry.
  4. By the twenty-seventh day of the second month the earth was completely dry.
  5. Then God said to Noah,
  1. はとは 夕方になって 彼のもとに 歸ってきた． 見ると， そのくちばしには， オリブ の 若葉があった． ノア は 地から 水がひいたのを 知った．
  2. さらに 七日待ってまた， はとを 放ったところ， もはや 彼のもとには 歸ってこなかった．
  3. 六百一歲の 一月一日になって， 地の 上の 水はかれた． ノア が 箱舟のおおいを 取り 除いて 見ると， 土のおもては， かわいていた．
  4. 二月二十七日になって， 地は 全くかわいた．
  5. この 時， 神は ノア に 言われた，
  1. "Come out of the ark, you and your wife and your sons and their wives.
  2. Bring out every kind of living creature that is with you--the birds, the animals, and all the creatures that move along the ground--so they can multiply on the earth and be fruitful and increase in number upon it."
  3. So Noah came out, together with his sons and his wife and his sons' wives.
  4. All the animals and all the creatures that move along the ground and all the birds--everything that moves on the earth--came out of the ark, one kind after another.
  5. Then Noah built an altar to the LORD and, taking some of all the clean animals and clean birds, he sacrificed burnt offerings on it.
  1. 「あなたは 妻と， 子らと， 子らの 妻たちと 共に 箱舟を 出なさい．
  2. あなたは， 共にいる 肉なるすべての 生き 物， すなわち 鳥と 家畜と， 地のすべての 這うものとを 連れて 出て， これらのものが 地に 群がり， 地の 上にふえ 廣がるようにしなさい 」．
  3. ノア は 共にいた 子らと， 妻と， 子らの 妻たちとを 連れて 出た．
  4. またすべての ¿， すべての 這うもの， すべての 鳥， すべて 地の 上に 動くものは 皆， 種類にしたがって 箱舟を 出た．
  5. ノア は 主に 祭壇を 築いて， すべての 淸い ¿と， すべての 淸い 鳥とのうちから 取って， §祭を 祭壇の 上にささげた．
  1. The LORD smelled the pleasing aroma and said in his heart: "Never again will I curse the ground because of man, even though every inclination of his heart is evil from childhood. And never again will I destroy all living creatures, as I have done.
  2. "As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease."
  1. 主はその 香ばしいかおりをかいで， 心に 言われた， 「わたしはもはや 二度と 人のゆえに 地をのろわない． 人が 心に 思い 圖ることは， 幼い 時から 惡いからである． わたしは， このたびしたように， もう 二度と， すべての 生きたものを 滅ぼさない．
  2. 地のある 限り， 種まきの 時も， 刈入れの 時も， 暑さ 寒さも， 夏冬も， ¿も 夜もやむことはないであろう 」．
