창세기 9:1-10:32

 하나님께서는 노아와 그 아들들에게 생육과 번성의 복을 주셨으며, 다시는 홍수로 세상을 심판하지 않겠다는 약속의 증거로 무지개를 주셨다. 후에 노아는 자신의 술 취해 벗은 모습을 보고 희롱거리로 만든 함의 자손 가나안을 저주하였다. 셈과 함과 야벳의 자손이 번창하여 각기 방언과 종족과 나라대로 살게 됨으로써 땅의 열국 백성이 나뉘었다.
  
  노아의 언약(9:1-9:29)    
 
  1. Then God blessed Noah and his sons, saying to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the earth.
  2. The fear and dread of you will fall upon all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air, upon every creature that moves along the ground, and upon all the fish of the sea; they are given into your hands.
  3. Everything that lives and moves will be food for you. Just as I gave you the green plants, I now give you everything.
  4. "But you must not eat meat that has its lifeblood still in it.
  5. And for your lifeblood I will surely demand an accounting. I will demand an accounting from every animal. And from each man, too, I will demand an accounting for the life of his fellow man.
  1. 神は ノア とその 子らとを 祝福して 彼らに 言われた， 「生めよ， ふえよ， 地に 滿ちよ．
  2. 地のすべての ¿， 空のすべての 鳥， 地に 這うすべてのもの， 海のすべての 魚は 恐れおののいて， あなたがたの 支配に 服し，
  3. すべて 生きて 動くものはあなたがたの 食物となるであろう． さきに 靑草をあなたがたに 與えたように， わたしはこれらのものを 皆あなたがたに 與える．
  4. しかし 肉を， その 命である 血のままで， 食べてはならない．
  5. あなたがたの 命の 血を 流すものには， わたしは 必ず 報復するであろう． いかなる ¿にも 報復する． 兄弟である 人にも， わたしは 人の 命のために， 報復するであろう．
  1. "Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made man.
  2. As for you, be fruitful and increase in number; multiply on the earth and increase upon it."
  3. Then God said to Noah and to his sons with him:
  4. "I now establish my covenant with you and with your descendants after you
  5. and with every living creature that was with you--the birds, the livestock and all the wild animals, all those that came out of the ark with you--every living creature on earth.
  1. 人の 血を 流すものは， 人に 血を 流される， ／神が 自分のかたちに 人を 造られたゆえに．
  2. あなたがたは， 生めよ， ふえよ， ／地に 群がり， 地の 上にふえよ 」．
  3. 神は ノア および 共にいる 子らに 言われた，
  4. 「わたしはあなたがた 及びあなたがたの 後の 子孫と 契約を 立てる．
  5. またあなたがたと 共にいるすべての 生き 物， あなたがたと 共にいる 鳥， 家畜， 地のすべての ¿， すなわち， すべて 箱舟から 出たものは， 地のすべての ¿にいたるまで， わたしはそれと 契約を 立てよう．
  1. I establish my covenant with you: Never again will all life be cut off by the waters of a flood; never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth."
  2. And God said, "This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come:
  3. I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth.
  4. Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds,
  5. I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life.
  1. わたしがあなたがたと 立てるこの 契約により， すべて 肉なる 者は， もはや 洪水によって 滅ぼされることはなく， また 地を 滅ぼす 洪水は， 再び 起らないであろう 」．
  2. さらに 神は 言われた， 「これはわたしと， あなたがた 及びあなたがたと 共にいるすべての 生き 物との 間に 代¿かぎりなく， わたしが 立てる 契約のしるしである．
  3. すなわち， わたしは 雲の 中に， にじを 置く． これがわたしと 地との 間の 契約のしるしとなる．
  4. わたしが 雲を 地の 上に 起すとき， にじは 雲の 中に 現れる．
  5. こうして， わたしは， わたしとあなたがた， 及びすべて 肉なるあらゆる 生き 物との 間に 立てた 契約を 思いおこすゆえ， 水はふたたび， すべて 肉なる 者を 滅ぼす 洪水とはならない．
  1. Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth."
  2. So God said to Noah, "This is the sign of the covenant I have established between me and all life on the earth."
  3. The sons of Noah who came out of the ark were Shem, Ham and Japheth. (Ham was the father of Canaan.)
  4. These were the three sons of Noah, and from them came the people who were scattered over the earth.
  5. Noah, a man of the soil, proceeded to plant a vineyard.
  1. にじが 雲の 中に 現れるとき， わたしはこれを 見て， 神が 地上にあるすべて 肉なるあらゆる 生き 物との 間に 立てた 永遠の 契約を 思いおこすであろう 」．
  2. そして 神は ノア に 言われた， 「これがわたしと 地にあるすべて 肉なるものとの 間に， わたしが 立てた 契約のしるしである 」．
  3. 箱舟から 出た ノア の 子らは セム ， ハム ， ヤペテ であった． ハム は カナン の 父である．
  4. この 三人は ノア の 子らで， 全地の 民は 彼らから 出て， 廣がったのである．
  5. さて ノア は 農夫となり， ぶどう 畑をつくり 始めたが，
  1. When he drank some of its wine, he became drunk and lay uncovered inside his tent.
  2. Ham, the father of Canaan, saw his father's nakedness and told his two brothers outside.
  3. But Shem and Japheth took a garment and laid it across their shoulders; then they walked in backward and covered their father's nakedness. Their faces were turned the other way so that they would not see their father's nakedness.
  4. When Noah awoke from his wine and found out what his youngest son had done to him,
  5. he said, "Cursed be Canaan! The lowest of slaves will he be to his brothers."
  1. 彼はぶどう 酒を 飮んで 醉い， 天幕の 中で 裸になっていた．
  2. カナン の 父 ハム は 父の 裸を 見て， 外にいるふたりの 兄弟に 告げた．
  3. セム と ヤペテ とは 着物を 取って， 肩にかけ， うしろ 向きに 步み 寄って， 父の 裸をおおい， 顔をそむけて 父の 裸を 見なかった．
  4. やがて ノア は 醉いがさめて， 末の 子が 彼にした 事を 知ったとき，
  5. 彼は 言った， ／「カナン はのろわれよ． 彼はしもべのしもべとなって， ／その 兄弟たちに 仕える 」．
  1. He also said, "Blessed be the LORD, the God of Shem! May Canaan be the slave of Shem.
  2. May God extend the territory of Japheth ; may Japheth live in the tents of Shem, and may Canaan be his slave."
  3. After the flood Noah lived 350 years.
  4. Altogether, Noah lived 950 years, and then he died.
  1. また 言った， ／「セム の 神， 主はほむべきかな， ／ カナン はそのしもべとなれ．
  2. 神は ヤペテ を 大いならしめ， ／ セム の 天幕に 彼を 住まわせられるように． カナン はそのしもべとなれ 」．
  3. ノア は 洪水の 後， なお 三百五十年生きた．
  4. ノア の 年は 合わせて 九百五十歲であった． そして 彼は 死んだ．

  1. This is the account of Shem, Ham and Japheth, Noah's sons, who themselves had sons after the flood.
  2. The sons of Japheth: Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech and Tiras.
  3. The sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, Riphath and Togarmah.
  4. The sons of Javan: Elishah, Tarshish, the Kittim and the Rodanim.
  5. (From these the maritime peoples spread out into their territories by their clans within their nations, each with its own language.)
  1. ノア の 子 セム ， ハム ， ヤペテ の 系圖は 次のとおりである． 洪水の 後， 彼らに 子が 生れた．
  2. ヤペテ の 子孫は ゴメル ， マゴグ ， マダイ ， ヤワン ， トバル ， メセク ， テラス であった． 　　
  3. ゴメル の 子孫は アシケナズ ， リパテ ， トガルマ ．
  4. ヤワン の 子孫は エリシャ ， タルシシ ， キッテム ， ドダニム であった．
  5. これらから 海沿いの 地の 國民が 分れて， おのおのその 土地におり， その 言語にしたがい， その 氏族にしたがって， その 國¿に 住んだ．
  1. The sons of Ham: Cush, Mizraim, Put and Canaan.
  2. The sons of Cush: Seba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah and Sabteca. The sons of Raamah: Sheba and Dedan.
  3. Cush was the father of Nimrod, who grew to be a mighty warrior on the earth.
  4. He was a mighty hunter before the LORD; that is why it is said, "Like Nimrod, a mighty hunter before the LORD."
  5. The first centers of his kingdom were Babylon, Erech, Akkad and Calneh, in Shinar.
  1. ハム の 子孫は クシ ， ミツライム ， プテ ， カナン であった．
  2. クシ の 子孫は セバ ， ハビラ ， サブタ ， ラアマ ， サブテカ であり， ラアマ の 子孫は シバ と デダン であった．
  3. クシ の 子は ニムロデ であって， この ニムロデ は 世の 權力者となった 最初の 人である．
  4. 彼は 主の 前に 力ある 狩¿者であった． これから「主の 前に 力ある 狩¿者 ニムロデ のごとし 」ということわざが 起った．
  5. 彼の 國は 最初 シナル の 地にある バベル ， エレク ， アカデ ， カルネ であった．
  1. From that land he went to Assyria, where he built Nineveh, Rehoboth Ir, Calah
  2. and Resen, which is between Nineveh and Calah; that is the great city.
  3. Mizraim was the father of the Ludites, Anamites, Lehabites, Naphtuhites,
  4. Pathrusites, Casluhites (from whom the Philistines came) and Caphtorites.
  5. Canaan was the father of Sidon his firstborn, and of the Hittites,
  1. 彼はその 地から アッスリヤ に 出て， ニネベ ， レホボテイリ ， カラ ，
  2. および ニネベ と カラ との 間にある 大いなる 町 レセン を 建てた．
  3. ミツライム から ルデ 族， アナミ 族， レハビ 族， ナフト 族，
  4. パテロス 族， カスル 族， カフトリ 族が 出た． カフトリ 族から ペリシテ 族が 出た．
  5. カナン からその 長子 シドン が 出て， また ヘテ が 出た．
  1. Jebusites, Amorites, Girgashites,
  2. Hivites, Arkites, Sinites,
  3. Arvadites, Zemarites and Hamathites. Later the Canaanite clans scattered
  4. and the borders of Canaan reached from Sidon toward Gerar as far as Gaza, and then toward Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah and Zeboiim, as far as Lasha.
  5. These are the sons of Ham by their clans and languages, in their territories and nations.
  1. その 他 エブス びと， アモリ びと， ギルガシ びと，
  2. ヒビ びと， アルキ びと， セニ びと，
  3. アルワデ びと， ゼマリ びと， ハマテ びとが 出た． 後になって カナン びとの 氏族がひろがった．
  4. カナン びとの 境は シドン から ゲラル を 經て ガザ に 至り， ソドム ， ゴモラ ， アデマ ， ゼボイム を 經て， レシャ に 及んだ．
  5. これらは ハム の 子孫であって， その 氏族とその 言語とにしたがって， その 土地と， その 國¿にいた．
  1. Sons were also born to Shem, whose older brother was Japheth; Shem was the ancestor of all the sons of Eber.
  2. The sons of Shem: Elam, Asshur, Arphaxad, Lud and Aram.
  3. The sons of Aram: Uz, Hul, Gether and Meshech.
  4. Arphaxad was the father of Shelah, and Shelah the father of Eber.
  5. Two sons were born to Eber: One was named Peleg, because in his time the earth was divided; his brother was named Joktan.
  1. セム にも 子が 生れた． セム は エベル のすべての 子孫の 先祖であって， ヤペテ の 兄であった．
  2. セム の 子孫は エラム ， アシュル ， アルパクサデ ， ルデ ， アラム であった．
  3. アラム の 子孫は ウヅ ， ホル ， ゲテル ， マシ であった．
  4. アルパクサデ の 子は シラ ， シラ の 子は エベル である．
  5. エベル にふたりの 子が 生れた． そのひとりの 名を ペレグ といった． これは 彼の 代に 地の 民が 分れたからである． その 弟の 名を ヨクタン といった．
  1. Joktan was the father of Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,
  2. Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah,
  3. Obal, Abimael, Sheba,
  4. Ophir, Havilah and Jobab. All these were sons of Joktan.
  5. The region where they lived stretched from Mesha toward Sephar, in the eastern hill country.
  1. ヨクタン に アルモダデ ， シャレフ ， ハザルマウテ ， エラ ，
  2. ハドラム ， ウザル ， デクラ ，
  3. オバル ， アビマエル ， シバ ，
  4. オフル ， ハビラ ， ヨバブ が 生れた． これらは 皆 ヨクタン の 子であった．
  5. 彼らが 住んだ 所は メシャ から 東の 山地 セパル に 及んだ．
  1. These are the sons of Shem by their clans and languages, in their territories and nations.
  2. These are the clans of Noah's sons, according to their lines of descent, within their nations. From these the nations spread out over the earth after the flood.
  1. これらは セム の 子孫であって， その 氏族とその 言語とにしたがって， その 土地と， その 國¿にいた．
  2. これらは ノア の 子らの 氏族であって， 血統にしたがって 國¿に 住んでいたが， 洪水の 後， これらから 地上の 諸國民が 分れたのである．

  영걸(英傑, 10:8)  강력한 세력을 지닌 자, 영웅 호걸
