창세기 45:1-46:34

 요셉은 형제들에게 자기의 신분을 밝히고 그들을 위로하였다. 요셉의 형제들이 왔다는 소식을 들은 바로는 그들을 환대하였고, 야곱의 가족이 애굽에 이주하여 살도록 배려했다. 야곱은 그의 가족들을 데리고 애굽으로 이주하여 요셉과 눈물의 재회를 하고 고센 땅에 정착하였다.
  
  요셉과 형제들의 화해(45:1-45:28)    
 
  1. Then Joseph could no longer control himself before all his attendants, and he cried out, "Have everyone leave my presence!" So there was no one with Joseph when he made himself known to his brothers.
  2. And he wept so loudly that the Egyptians heard him, and Pharaoh's household heard about it.
  3. Joseph said to his brothers, "I am Joseph! Is my father still living?" But his brothers were not able to answer him, because they were terrified at his presence.
  4. Then Joseph said to his brothers, "Come close to me." When they had done so, he said, "I am your brother Joseph, the one you sold into Egypt!
  5. And now, do not be distressed and do not be angry with yourselves for selling me here, because it was to save lives that God sent me ahead of you.
  1. そこで ヨセフ はそばに 立っているすべての 人の 前で， 自分を 制しきれなくなったので， 「人は 皆ここから 出てください 」と 呼ばわった． それゆえ ヨセフ が 兄弟たちに 自分のことを 明かした 時， ひとりも 彼のそばに 立っている 者はなかった．
  2. ヨセフ は 聲をあげて 泣いた． エジプト びとはこれを 聞き， パロ の 家もこれを 聞いた．
  3. ヨセフ は 兄弟たちに 言った， 「わたしは ヨセフ です． 父はまだ 生きながらえていますか 」． 兄弟たちは 答えることができなかった． 彼らは 驚き 恐れたからである．
  4. ヨセフ は 兄弟たちに 言った， 「わたしに 近寄ってください 」． 彼らが 近寄ったので 彼は 言った， 「わたしはあなたがたの 弟 ヨセフ です． あなたがたが エジプト に 賣った 者です．
  5. しかしわたしをここに 賣ったのを 嘆くことも， 悔むこともいりません． 神は 命を 救うために， あなたがたよりさきにわたしをつかわされたのです．
  1. For two years now there has been famine in the land, and for the next five years there will not be plowing and reaping.
  2. But God sent me ahead of you to preserve for you a remnant on earth and to save your lives by a great deliverance.
  3. "So then, it was not you who sent me here, but God. He made me father to Pharaoh, lord of his entire household and ruler of all Egypt.
  4. Now hurry back to my father and say to him, 'This is what your son Joseph says: God has made me lord of all Egypt. Come down to me; don't delay.
  5. You shall live in the region of Goshen and be near me--you, your children and grandchildren, your flocks and herds, and all you have.
  1. この 二年の 間， 國中にききんがあったが， なお 五年の 間は 耕すことも 刈り 入れることもないでしょう．
  2. 神は， あなたがたのすえを 地に 殘すため， また 大いなる 救をもってあなたがたの 命を 助けるために， わたしをあなたがたよりさきにつかわされたのです．
  3. それゆえわたしをここにつかわしたのはあなたがたではなく， 神です． 神はわたしを パロ の 父とし， その 全家の 主とし， また エジプト 全國のつかさとされました．
  4. あなたがたは 父のもとに 急ぎ 上って 言いなさい， 『あなたの 子 ヨセフ が， こう 言いました． 神がわたしを エジプト 全國の 主とされたから， ためらわずにわたしの 所へ 下ってきなさい．
  5. あなたは ゴセン の 地に 住み， あなたも， あなたの 子らも， 孫たちも， 羊も 牛も， その 他のものもみな， わたしの 近くにおらせます．
  1. I will provide for you there, because five years of famine are still to come. Otherwise you and your household and all who belong to you will become destitute.'
  2. "You can see for yourselves, and so can my brother Benjamin, that it is really I who am speaking to you.
  3. Tell my father about all the honor accorded me in Egypt and about everything you have seen. And bring my father down here quickly."
  4. Then he threw his arms around his brother Benjamin and wept, and Benjamin embraced him, weeping.
  5. And he kissed all his brothers and wept over them. Afterward his brothers talked with him.
  1. ききんはなお 五年つづきますから， あなたも， 家族も， その 他のものも， みな 困らないように， わたしはそこで 養いましょう 』．
  2. あなたがたと 弟 ベニヤミン が 目に 見るとおり， あなたがたに 口ずから 語っているのはこのわたしです．
  3. あなたがたは エジプト での， わたしのいっさいの 榮えと， あなたがたが 見るいっさいの 事をわたしの 父に 告げ， 急いでわたしの 父をここへ 連れ 下りなさい 」．
  4. そして ヨセフ は 弟 ベニヤミン のくびを 抱いて 泣き， ベニヤミン も 彼のくびを 抱いて 泣いた．
  5. また ヨセフ はすべての 兄弟たちに 口づけし， 彼らを 抱いて 泣いた． そして 後， 兄弟たちは 彼と 語った．
  1. When the news reached Pharaoh's palace that Joseph's brothers had come, Pharaoh and all his officials were pleased.
  2. Pharaoh said to Joseph, "Tell your brothers, 'Do this: Load your animals and return to the land of Canaan,
  3. and bring your father and your families back to me. I will give you the best of the land of Egypt and you can enjoy the fat of the land.'
  4. "You are also directed to tell them, 'Do this: Take some carts from Egypt for your children and your wives, and get your father and come.
  5. Never mind about your belongings, because the best of all Egypt will be yours.' "
  1. 時に， 「ヨセフ の 兄弟たちがきた 」と 言ううわさが パロ の 家に 聞えたので， パロ とその 家來たちとは 喜んだ．
  2. パロ は ヨセフ に 言った， 「兄弟たちに 言いなさい， 『あなたがたは， こうしなさい． ¿に 荷を 負わせて カナン の 地へ 行き，
  3. 父と 家族とを 連れてわたしのもとへきなさい． わたしはあなたがたに， エジプト の 地の 良い 物を 與えます． あなたがたは， この 國の 最も 良いものを 食べるでしょう 』．

  1. So the sons of Israel did this. Joseph gave them carts, as Pharaoh had commanded, and he also gave them provisions for their journey.
  2. To each of them he gave new clothing, but to Benjamin he gave three hundred shekels of silver and five sets of clothes.
  3. And this is what he sent to his father: ten donkeys loaded with the best things of Egypt, and ten female donkeys loaded with grain and bread and other provisions for his journey.
  4. Then he sent his brothers away, and as they were leaving he said to them, "Don't quarrel on the way!"
  5. So they went up out of Egypt and came to their father Jacob in the land of Canaan.
  1. イスラエル の 子らはそのようにした． ヨセフ は パロ の 命に 從って 彼らに 車を 與え， また 途中の 食料をも 與えた．
  2. まためいめいに 晴着を 與えたが， ベニヤミン には 銀三百 シケル と 晴着五着とを 與えた．
  3. また 彼は 父に 次のようなものを 贈った． すなわち エジプト の 良い 物を 負わせたろば 十頭と， 穀物， パン 及び 父の 道中の 食料を 負わせた 雌ろば 十頭．
  4. こうして ヨセフ は 兄弟たちを 送り 去らせ， 彼らに 言った， 「途中で 爭ってはなりません 」．
  5. 彼らは エジプト から 上って カナン の 地に 入り， 父 ヤコブ のもとへ 行って，
  1. They told him, "Joseph is still alive! In fact, he is ruler of all Egypt." Jacob was stunned; he did not believe them.
  2. But when they told him everything Joseph had said to them, and when he saw the carts Joseph had sent to carry him back, the spirit of their father Jacob revived.
  3. And Israel said, "I'm convinced! My son Joseph is still alive. I will go and see him before I die."
  1. 彼に 言った， 「ヨセフ はなお 生きていて エジプト 全國のつかさです 」． ヤコブ は 氣が 遠くなった． 彼らの 言うことが 信じられなかったからである．
  2. そこで 彼らは ヨセフ が 語った 言葉を 殘らず 彼に 告げた． 父 ヤコブ は ヨセフ が 自分を 乘せるために 送った 車を 見て 元氣づいた．
  3. そして イスラエル は 言った， 「滿足だ． わが 子 ヨセフ がまだ 生きている． わたしは 死ぬ 前に 行って 彼を 見よう 」．
 
  애굽으로 이주한 야곱(46:1-46:34)    
 
  1. So Israel set out with all that was his, and when he reached Beersheba, he offered sacrifices to the God of his father Isaac.
  2. And God spoke to Israel in a vision at night and said, "Jacob! Jacob!" "Here I am," he replied.
  3. "I am God, the God of your father," he said. "Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for I will make you into a great nation there.
  4. I will go down to Egypt with you, and I will surely bring you back again. And Joseph's own hand will close your eyes."
  5. Then Jacob left Beersheba, and Israel's sons took their father Jacob and their children and their wives in the carts that Pharaoh had sent to transport him.
  1. イスラエル はその 持ち 物をことごとく 携えて 旅立ち， ベエルシバ に 行って， 父 イサク の 神に ¿牲をささげた．
  2. この 時， 神は 夜の 幻のうちに イスラエル に 語って 言われた， 「ヤコブ よ， ヤコブ よ 」． 彼は 言った， 「ここにいます 」．

  1. They also took with them their livestock and the possessions they had acquired in Canaan, and Jacob and all his offspring went to Egypt.
  2. He took with him to Egypt his sons and grandsons and his daughters and granddaughters--all his offspring.
  3. These are the names of the sons of Israel (Jacob and his descendants) who went to Egypt: Reuben the firstborn of Jacob.
  4. The sons of Reuben: Hanoch, Pallu, Hezron and Carmi.
  5. The sons of Simeon: Jemuel, Jamin, Ohad, Jakin, Zohar and Shaul the son of a Canaanite woman.
  1. またその 家畜と カナン の 地で 得た 財産を 携え， ヤコブ とその 子孫は 皆ともに エジプト へ 行った．
  2. こうして ヤコブ はその 子と， 孫および 娘と 孫娘などその 子孫をみな 連れて， エジプト へ 行った．
  3. イスラエル の 子らで エジプト へ 行った 者の 名は 次のとおりである． すなわち ヤコブ とその 子らであるが， ヤコブ の 長子は ルベン ．
  4. ルベン の 子らは ハノク ， パル ， ヘヅロン ， カルミ ．
  5. シメオン の 子らは エムエル ， ヤミン ， オハデ ， ヤキン ， ゾハル 及び カナン の 女の 産んだ 子 シャウル ．
  1. The sons of Levi: Gershon, Kohath and Merari.
  2. The sons of Judah: Er, Onan, Shelah, Perez and Zerah (but Er and Onan had died in the land of Canaan). The sons of Perez: Hezron and Hamul.
  3. The sons of Issachar: Tola, Puah, Jashub and Shimron.
  4. The sons of Zebulun: Sered, Elon and Jahleel.
  5. These were the sons Leah bore to Jacob in Paddan Aram, besides his daughter Dinah. These sons and daughters of his were thirty-three in all.
  1. レビ の 子らは ゲルション ， コハテ ， メラリ ．
  2. ユダ の 子らは エル ， オナン ， シラ ， ペレヅ ， ゼラ ． エル と オナン は カナン の 地で 死んだ． ペレヅ の 子らは ヘヅロン と ハムル ．
  3. イッサカル の 子らは トラ ， プワ ， ヨブ ， シムロン ．
  4. ゼブルン の 子らは セレデ ， エロン ， ヤリエル ．
  5. これらと 娘 デナ とは レア が パダンアラム で ヤコブ に 産んだ 子らである． その 子らと 娘らは 合わせて 三十三人．
  1. The sons of Gad: Zephon, Haggi, Shuni, Ezbon, Eri, Arodi and Areli.
  2. The sons of Asher: Imnah, Ishvah, Ishvi and Beriah. Their sister was Serah. The sons of Beriah: Heber and Malkiel.
  3. These were the children born to Jacob by Zilpah, whom Laban had given to his daughter Leah--sixteen in all.
  4. The sons of Jacob's wife Rachel: Joseph and Benjamin.
  5. In Egypt, Manasseh and Ephraim were born to Joseph by Asenath daughter of Potiphera, priest of On.
  1. ガド の 子らは ゼポン ， ハギ ， シュニ ， エヅボン ， エリ ， アロデ ， アレリ ．
  2. アセル の 子らは エムナ ， イシワ ， イスイ ， ベリア および 妹 サラ ． ベリア の 子らは ヘベル と マルキエル ．

  2. These were the sons of Rachel who were born to Jacob--fourteen in all.
  3. The son of Dan: Hushim.
  4. The sons of Naphtali: Jahziel, Guni, Jezer and Shillem.
  5. These were the sons born to Jacob by Bilhah, whom Laban had given to his daughter Rachel--seven in all.
  1. ベニヤミン の 子らは ベラ ， ベケル ， アシベル ， ゲラ ， ナアマン ， エヒ ， ロシ ， ムッピム ， ホパム ， アルデ ．
  2. これらは ラケル が ヤコブ に 産んだ 子らである． 合わせて 十四人．
  3. ダン の 子は ホシム ．
  4. ナフタリ の 子らは ヤジエル ， グニ ， エゼル ， シレム ．
  5. これらは ラバン が 娘 ラケル に 與えた ビルハ の 子らである． 彼女はこれらを ヤコブ に 産んだ． 合わせて 七人．
  1. All those who went to Egypt with Jacob--those who were his direct descendants, not counting his sons' wives--numbered sixty-six persons.
  2. With the two sons who had been born to Joseph in Egypt, the members of Jacob's family, which went to Egypt, were seventy in all.
  3. Now Jacob sent Judah ahead of him to Joseph to get directions to Goshen. When they arrived in the region of Goshen,
  4. Joseph had his chariot made ready and went to Goshen to meet his father Israel. As soon as Joseph appeared before him, he threw his arms around his father and wept for a long time.
  5. Israel said to Joseph, "Now I am ready to die, since I have seen for myself that you are still alive."
  1. ヤコブ と 共に エジプト へ 行ったすべての 者， すなわち 彼の 身から 出た 者は ヤコブ の 子らの 妻をのぞいて， 合わせて 六十六人であった．
  2. エジプト で ヨセフ に 生れた 子がふたりあった． エジプト へ 行った ヤコブ の 家の 者は 合わせて 七十人であった．
  3. さて ヤコブ は ユダ をさきに ヨセフ につかわして， ゴセン で 會おうと 言わせた． そして 彼らは ゴセン の 地へ 行った．
  4. ヨセフ は 車を 整えて， 父 イスラエル を 迎えるために ゴセン に 上り， 父に 會い， そのくびを 抱き， くびをかかえて 久しく 泣いた．
  5. 時に， イスラエル は ヨセフ に 言った， 「あなたがなお 生きていて， わたしはあなたの 顔を 見たので 今は 死んでもよい 」．
  1. Then Joseph said to his brothers and to his father's household, "I will go up and speak to Pharaoh and will say to him, 'My brothers and my father's household, who were living in the land of Canaan, have come to me.
  2. The men are shepherds; they tend livestock, and they have brought along their flocks and herds and everything they own.'
  3. When Pharaoh calls you in and asks, 'What is your occupation?'
  4. you should answer, 'Your servants have tended livestock from our boyhood on, just as our fathers did.' Then you will be allowed to settle in the region of Goshen, for all shepherds are detestable to the Egyptians."
  1. ヨセフ は 兄弟たちと 父の 家族とに 言った， 「わたしは 上って パロ に 言おう， 『カナン の 地にいたわたしの 兄弟たちと 父の 家族とがわたしの 所へきました．
  2. この 者らは 羊を 飼う 者， 家畜の 牧者で， その 羊， 牛および 持ち 物をみな 携えてきました 』．
  3. もし パロ があなたがたを 召して， 『あなたがたの 職業は 何か 』と 言われたら，
  4. 『しもべらは 幼い 時から， ずっと 家畜の 牧者です． われわれも， われわれの 先祖もそうです 』と 言いなさい． そうすればあなたがたは ゴセン の 地に 住むことができましょう． 羊飼はすべて， エジプト びとの 忌む 者だからです 」．
