사도행전 4:1-4:37

 예수님의 죽음과 부활을 증거하던 베드로와 요한은 유대 지도자들에 의해 체포되어 투옥된 후 공회에서 심문과 협박을 받고 놓여났다. 이러한 핍박 속에서도 초대교회는 더욱 단합하여 기도함으로써 왕성해져 갔다.
  
  체포된 베드로와 요한(4:1-4:31)    
 
  1. The priests and the captain of the temple guard and the Sadducees came up to Peter and John while they were speaking to the people.
  2. They were greatly disturbed because the apostles were teaching the people and proclaiming in Jesus the resurrection of the dead.
  3. They seized Peter and John, and because it was evening, they put them in jail until the next day.
  4. But many who heard the message believed, and the number of men grew to about five thousand.
  5. The next day the rulers, elders and teachers of the law met in Jerusalem.
  1. 彼らが 人¿にこのように 語っているあいだに， 祭司たち， 宮守がしら， サドカイ 人たちが 近寄ってきて，
  2. 彼らが 人¿に 敎を 說き， イエス 自身に 起った 死人の 復活を 宣傳しているのに 氣をいら 立て，
  3. 彼らに 手をかけて 捕え， はや 日が 暮れていたので， 翌朝まで 留置しておいた．
  4. しかし， 彼らの 話を 聞いた 多くの 人たちは 信じた． そして， その 男の 數が 五千人ほどになった．
  5. 明くる 日， 役人， 長老， 律法學者たちが， エルサレム に 召集された．
  1. Annas the high priest was there, and so were Caiaphas, John, Alexander and the other men of the high priest's family.
  2. They had Peter and John brought before them and began to question them: "By what power or what name did you do this?"
  3. Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them: "Rulers and elders of the people!
  4. If we are being called to account today for an act of kindness shown to a cripple and are asked how he was healed,
  5. then know this, you and all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed.
  1. 大祭司 アンナス をはじめ， カヤパ ， ヨハネ ， アレキサンデル ， そのほか 大祭司の 一族もみな 集まった．
  2. そして， そのまん 中に 使徒たちを 立たせて 尋問した， 「あなたがたは， いったい， なんの 權威， また， だれの 名によって， このことをしたのか 」．
  3. その 時， ペテロ が 聖靈に 滿たされて 言った， 「民の 役人たち， ならびに 長老たちよ，
  4. わたしたちが， きょう， 取調べを 受けているのは， 病人に 對してした 良いわざについてであり， この 人がどうしていやされたかについてであるなら，
  5. あなたがたご 一同も， また イスラエル の 人¿全體も， 知っていてもらいたい． この 人が 元氣になってみんなの 前に 立っているのは， ひとえに， あなたがたが 十字架につけて 殺したのを， 神が 死人の 中からよみがえらせた ナザレ 人 イエス · キリスト の 御名によるのである．
  1. He is " 'the stone you builders rejected, which has become the capstone.'
  2. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."
  3. When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus.
  4. But since they could see the man who had been healed standing there with them, there was nothing they could say.
  5. So they ordered them to withdraw from the Sanhedrin and then conferred together.
  1. この イエス こそは『あなたがた 家造りらに 捨てられたが， 隅のかしら 石となった 石 』なのである．
  2. この 人による 以外に 救はない． わたしたちを 救いうる 名は， これを 別にしては， 天下のだれにも 與えられていないからである 」．
  3. 人¿は ペテロ と ヨハネ との 大膽な 話しぶりを 見， また 同時に， ふたりが 無學な， ただの 人たちであることを 知って， 不思議に 思った． そして 彼らが イエス と 共にいた 者であることを 認め，
  4. かつ， 彼らにいやされた 者がそのそばに 立っているのを 見ては， まったく 返す 言葉がなかった．
  5. そこで， ふたりに 議會から 退場するように 命じてから， 互に 協議をつづけて
  1. "What are we going to do with these men?" they asked. "Everybody living in Jerusalem knows they have done an outstanding miracle, and we cannot deny it.
  2. But to stop this thing from spreading any further among the people, we must warn these men to speak no longer to anyone in this name."
  3. Then they called them in again and commanded them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus.
  4. But Peter and John replied, "Judge for yourselves whether it is right in God's sight to obey you rather than God.
  5. For we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard."
  1. 言った， 「あの 人たちを， どうしたらよかろうか． 彼らによって 著しいしるしが 行われたことは， エルサレム の 住民全體に 知れわたっているので， 否定しようもない．
  2. ただ， これ 以上このことが 民衆の 間にひろまらないように， 今後はこの 名によって， いっさいだれにも 語ってはいけないと， おどしてやろうではないか 」．
  3. そこで， ふたりを 呼び 入れて， イエス の 名によって 語ることも 說くことも， いっさい 相成らぬと 言いわたした．
  4. ペテロ と ヨハネ とは， これに 對して 言った， 「神に 聞き 從うよりも， あなたがたに 聞き 從う 方が， 神の 前に 正しいかどうか， 判斷してもらいたい．
  5. わたしたちとしては， 自分の 見たこと 聞いたことを， 語らないわけにはいかない 」．
  1. After further threats they let them go. They could not decide how to punish them, because all the people were praising God for what had happened.
  2. For the man who was miraculously healed was over forty years old.
  3. On their release, Peter and John went back to their own people and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said to them.
  4. When they heard this, they raised their voices together in prayer to God. "Sovereign Lord," they said, "you made the heaven and the earth and the sea, and everything in them.
  5. You spoke by the Holy Spirit through the mouth of your servant, our father David: " 'Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain?
  1. そこで， 彼らはふたりを 更におどしたうえ， ゆるしてやった． みんなの 者が， この 出來事のために， 神をあがめていたので， その 人¿の 手前， ふたりを 罰するすべがなかったからである．
  2. そのしるしによっていやされたのは， 四十歲あまりの 人であった．
  3. ふたりはゆるされてから， 仲間の 者たちのところに 歸って， 祭司長たちや 長老たちが 言ったいっさいのことを 報告した．
  4. 一同はこれを 聞くと， 口をそろえて， 神にむかい 聲をあげて 言った， 「天と 地と 海と， その 中のすべてのものとの 造りぬしなる 主よ．
  5. あなたは， わたしたちの 先祖， あなたの 僕 ダビデ の 口をとおして， 聖靈によって， こう 仰せになりました， ／『なぜ， 異邦人らは， ¿ぎ 立ち， ／もろもろの 民は， むなしいことを 圖り，
  1. The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers gather together against the Lord and against his Anointed One.'
  2. Indeed Herod and Pontius Pilate met together with the Gentiles and the people of Israel in this city to conspire against your holy servant Jesus, whom you anointed.
  3. They did what your power and will had decided beforehand should happen.
  4. Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness.
  5. Stretch out your hand to heal and perform miraculous signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus."
  1. 地上の 王たちは， 立ちかまえ， ／支配者たちは， 黨を 組んで， ／主とその キリスト とに 逆らったのか 』．
  2. まことに， ヘロデ と ポンテオ · ピラト とは， 異邦人らや イスラエル の 民と 一緖になって， この 都に 集まり， あなたから 油を 注がれた 聖なる 僕 イエス に 逆らい，
  3. み 手とみ 旨とによって， あらかじめ 定められていたことを， なし 遂げたのです．
  4. 主よ， いま， 彼らの 脅迫に 目をとめ， 僕たちに， 思い 切って 大膽に 御言葉を 語らせて 下さい．
  5. そしてみ 手を 伸ばしていやしをなし， 聖なる 僕 イエス の 名によって， しるしと 奇跡とを 行わせて 下さい 」．
  1. After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.
  1. 彼らが 祈り 終えると， その 集まっていた 場所が ¿れ 動き， 一同は 聖靈に 滿たされて， 大膽に 神の 言を 語り 出した．
 
  초대교회의 공동 생활(4:32-4:37)    
 
  1. All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had.
  2. With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and much grace was upon them all.
  3. There were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned lands or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales
  4. and put it at the apostles' feet, and it was distributed to anyone as he had need.
  5. Joseph, a Levite from Cyprus, whom the apostles called Barnabas (which means Son of Encouragement),
  1. 信じた 者の 群れは， 心を 一つにし 思いを 一つにして， だれひとりその 持ち 物を 自分のものだと 主張する 者がなく， いっさいの 物を 共有にしていた．
  2. 使徒たちは 主 イエス の 復活について， 非常に 力强くあかしをした． そして 大きなめぐみが， 彼ら 一同に 注がれた．
  3. 彼らの 中に 乏しい 者は， ひとりもいなかった． 地所や 家屋を 持っている 人たちは， それを 賣り， 賣った 物の 代金をもってきて，
  4. 使徒たちの 足もとに 置いた． そしてそれぞれの 必要に 應じて， だれにでも 分け 與えられた．
  5. クプロ 生れの レビ 人で， 使徒たちに バルナバ （「慰めの 子 」との 意 ）と 呼ばれていた ヨセフ は，
  1. sold a field he owned and brought the money and put it at the apostles' feet.
  1. 自分の 所有する 畑を 賣り， その 代金をもってきて， 使徒たちの 足もとに 置いた．
