고린도전서 9:19-10:13

 바울은 복음을 위하여 유대인에게는 유대인처럼, 이방인에게는 이방인처럼, 약한 자들에게는 약한 자처럼 행하였다고 고백하였다. 그리고 이스라엘 출애굽 과정 동안 하나님께 행한 범죄를 거울 삼아 죄악에서 돌아설 것을 권면하였다.
  
  모든 사람의 종(9:19-9:27)    
 
  1. Though I am free and belong to no man, I make myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible.
  2. To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law.
  3. To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God's law but am under Christ's law), so as to win those not having the law.
  4. To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some.
  5. I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings.
  1. わたしは， すべての 人に 對して 自由であるが， できるだけ 多くの 人を 得るために， 自ら 進んですべての 人の 奴隷になった．
  2. ユダヤ 人には， ユダヤ 人のようになった． ユダヤ 人を 得るためである． 律法の 下にある 人には， わたし 自身は 律法の 下にはないが， 律法の 下にある 者のようになった． 律法の 下にある 人を 得るためである．
  3. 律法のない 人には ――わたしは 神の 律法の 外にあるのではなく， キリスト の 律法の 中にあるのだが ――律法のない 人のようになった． 律法のない 人を 得るためである．
  4. 弱い 人には 弱い 者になった． 弱い 人を 得るためである． すべての 人に 對しては， すべての 人のようになった． なんとかして 幾人かを 救うためである．
  5. 福音のために， わたしはどんな 事でもする． わたしも 共に 福音にあずかるためである．
  1. Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.
  2. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.
  3. Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air.
  4. No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.
  1. あなたがたは 知らないのか． 競技場で 走る 者は， みな 走りはするが， 賞を 得る 者はひとりだけである． あなたがたも， 賞を 得るように 走りなさい．
  2. しかし， すべて 競技をする 者は， 何ごとにも 節制をする． 彼らは 朽ちる 冠を 得るためにそうするが， わたしたちは 朽ちない 冠を 得るためにそうするのである．
  3. そこで， わたしは 目標のはっきりしないような 走り 方をせず， 空を 打つような 拳鬪はしない．
  4. すなわち， 自分のからだを 打ちたたいて 服從させるのである． そうしないと， ほかの 人に 宣べ 傳えておきながら， 自分は 失格者になるかも 知れない．
 
  역사의 교훈(10:1-10:13)    
 
  1. For I do not want you to be ignorant of the fact, brothers, that our forefathers were all under the cloud and that they all passed through the sea.
  2. They were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea.
  3. They all ate the same spiritual food
  4. and drank the same spiritual drink; for they drank from the spiritual rock that accompanied them, and that rock was Christ.
  5. Nevertheless, God was not pleased with most of them; their bodies were scattered over the desert.
  1. 兄弟たちよ． このことを 知らずにいてもらいたくない． わたしたちの 先祖はみな 雲の 下におり， みな 海を 通り，
  2. みな 雲の 中， 海の 中で， モ ― セ につく バプテスマ を 受けた．
  3. また， みな 同じ 靈の 食物を 食べ，
  4. みな 同じ 靈の 飮み 物を 飮んだ． すなわち， 彼らについてきた 靈の 岩から 飮んだのであるが， この 岩は キリスト にほかならない．
  5. しかし， 彼らの 中の 大多數は， 神のみこころにかなわなかったので， 荒野で 滅ぼされてしまった．
  1. Now these things occurred as examples to keep us from setting our hearts on evil things as they did.
  2. Do not be idolaters, as some of them were; as it is written: "The people sat down to eat and drink and got up to indulge in pagan revelry."
  3. We should not commit sexual immorality, as some of them did--and in one day twenty-three thousand of them died.
  4. We should not test the Lord, as some of them did--and were killed by snakes.
  5. And do not grumble, as some of them did--and were killed by the destroying angel.
  1. これらの 出來事は， わたしたちに 對する 警告であって， 彼らが 惡をむさぼったように， わたしたちも 惡をむさぼることのないためなのである．
  2. だから， 彼らの 中のある 者たちのように， 偶像禮拜者になってはならない． すなわち， 「民は 座して 飮み 食いをし， また 立って 踊り 戱れた 」と 書いてある．
  3. また， ある 者たちがしたように， わたしたちは 不品行をしてはならない． 不品行をしたため 倒された 者が， 一日に 二万三千人もあった．
  4. また， ある 者たちがしたように， わたしたちは 主を 試みてはならない． 主を 試みた 者は， へびに 殺された．
  5. また， ある 者たちがつぶやいたように， つぶやいてはならない． つぶやいた 者は， 「死の 使 」に 滅ぼされた．
  1. These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the fulfillment of the ages has come.
  2. So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don't fall!
  3. No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.
  1. これらの 事が 彼らに 起ったのは， 他に 對する 警告としてであって， それが 書かれたのは， 世の 終りに 臨んでいるわたしたちに 對する 訓戒のためである．
  2. だから， 立っていると 思う 者は， 倒れないように 氣をつけるがよい．
  3. あなたがたの 會った 試鍊で， 世の 常でないものはない． 神は 眞實である． あなたがたを 耐えられないような 試鍊に 會わせることはないばかりか， 試鍊と 同時に， それに 耐えられるように， のがれる 道も 備えて 下さるのである．
