- Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?
- What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?
- What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people."
- "Therefore come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you."
- "I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty."

- 不信者と， つり 合わないくびきを 共にするな． 義と 不義となんの 係わりがあるか． 光とやみとなんの 交わりがあるか．
- キリスト と ベリアル となんの 調和があるか． 信仰と 不信仰となんの 關係があるか．
- 神の 宮と 偶像となんの 一致があるか． わたしたちは， 生ける 神の 宮である． 神がこう 仰せになっている， ／「わたしは 彼らの 間に 住み， ／かつ 出入りをするであろう． そして， わたしは 彼らの 神となり， ／彼らはわたしの 民となるであろう 」．
- だから， 「彼らの 間から 出て 行き， ／彼らと 分離せよ， と 主は 言われる． そして， 汚れたものに 觸れてはならない． 觸れなければ， わたしはあなたがたを 受けいれよう．
- そしてわたしは， あなたがたの 父となり， ／あなたがたは， ／わたしのむすこ， むすめとなるであろう． 全能の 主が， こう 言われる 」．
