이사야 34:1-36:22

 이사야는 하나님께서 만국을 향해 진노하셔서 그들을 진멸하시고 에돔 땅에서 큰 살륙을 행하실 것이라고 하였다. 그러나 구속함을 입은 자들은 시온에 이르러 기쁨과 즐거움을 얻을 것이라고 예언하였다.
앗수르 왕 산헤립이 유다를 침공하여 하나님과 애굽을 의지하던 히스기야 왕과 그의 백성들을 욕되게 하였다.
  
  열국에 대한 심판(34:1-34:17)    
 
  1. Come near, you nations, and listen; pay attention, you peoples! Let the earth hear, and all that is in it, the world, and all that comes out of it!
  2. The LORD is angry with all nations; his wrath is upon all their armies. He will totally destroy them, he will give them over to slaughter.
  3. Their slain will be thrown out, their dead bodies will send up a stench; the mountains will be soaked with their blood.
  4. All the stars of the heavens will be dissolved and the sky rolled up like a scroll; all the starry host will fall like withered leaves from the vine, like shriveled figs from the fig tree.
  5. My sword has drunk its fill in the heavens; see, it descends in judgment on Edom, the people I have totally destroyed.
  1. もろもろの 國よ， 近づいて 聞け． もろもろの 民よ， 耳を 傾けよ． 地とそれに 滿ちるもの， 世界とそれから 出るすべてのものよ， 聞け．
  2. 主はすべての 國にむかって 怒り， そのすべての 軍勢にむかって 憤り， 彼らをことごとく 滅ぼし， 彼らをわたして， ほふらせられた．
  3. 彼らは 殺されて 投げすてられ， その 死體の 惡臭は 立ちのぼり， 山¿はその 血で 溶けて 流れる．

  1. The sword of the LORD is bathed in blood, it is covered with fat-- the blood of lambs and goats, fat from the kidneys of rams. For the LORD has a sacrifice in Bozrah and a great slaughter in Edom.
  2. And the wild oxen will fall with them, the bull calves and the great bulls. Their land will be drenched with blood, and the dust will be soaked with fat.
  3. For the LORD has a day of vengeance, a year of retribution, to uphold Zion's cause.
  4. Edom's streams will be turned into pitch, her dust into burning sulfur; her land will become blazing pitch!
  5. It will not be quenched night and day; its smoke will rise forever. From generation to generation it will lie desolate; no one will ever pass through it again.
  1. 主のつるぎは 血で 滿ち， 脂肪で 肥え， 小羊とやぎの 血， 雄羊の 腎臟の 脂肪で 肥えている． 主が ボズラ で ¿牲の ¿をほふり， エドム の 地で 大いに 殺されたからである．

  1. The desert owl and screech owl will possess it; the great owl and the raven will nest there. God will stretch out over Edom the measuring line of chaos and the plumb line of desolation.
  2. Her nobles will have nothing there to be called a kingdom, all her princes will vanish away.
  3. Thorns will overrun her citadels, nettles and brambles her strongholds. She will become a haunt for jackals, a home for owls.
  4. Desert creatures will meet with hyenas, and wild goats will bleat to each other; there the night creatures will also repose and find for themselves places of rest.
  5. The owl will nest there and lay eggs, she will hatch them, and care for her young under the shadow of her wings; there also the falcons will gather, each with its mate.
  1. たかと， やまあらしとがそこをすみかとし， ふくろうと， からすがそこに 住む． 主はその 上に 荒廢をきたらせる 測りなわを 張り， 尊い 人¿の 上に 混亂を 起す 下げ 振りをさげられる．
  2. 人¿はこれを 名づけて「國なき 所 」といい， その 君たちは 皆うせてなくなる．
  3. そのとりでの 上には， いばらが 生え， その 城には， いらくさと， あざみとが 生え， 山犬のすみか， だちょうのおる 所となる．
  4. 野の ¿は ハイエナ と 出會い， 鬼神はその 友を 呼び， 夜の 魔女もそこに 降りてきて， 休み 所を 得る．
  5. ふくろうはそこに 巢をつくって 卵を 産み， それをかえして， そのひなを 翼の 陰に 集める． とびもまた， おのおのその 連れ 合いと 共に， そこに 集まる．
  1. Look in the scroll of the LORD and read: None of these will be missing, not one will lack her mate. For it is his mouth that has given the order, and his Spirit will gather them together.
  2. He allots their portions; his hand distributes them by measure. They will possess it forever and dwell there from generation to generation.
  1. あなたがたは 主の 書をつまびらかに ／たずねて， これを 讀め． これらのものは 一つも 欠けることなく， また 一つもその 連れ 合いを 欠くものはない． これは 主の 口がこれを 命じ， その 靈が 彼らを 集められたからである．
  2. 主は 彼らのためにくじを 引き， 手ずから 測りなわをもって， この 地を 分け 與え， 長く 彼らに 所有させ， 世¿ここに 住まわせられる．
 
  구속받은 자의 기쁨(35:1-35:10)    
 
  1. The desert and the parched land will be glad; the wilderness will rejoice and blossom. Like the crocus,
  2. it will burst into bloom; it will rejoice greatly and shout for joy. The glory of Lebanon will be given to it, the splendor of Carmel and Sharon; they will see the glory of the LORD, the splendor of our God.
  3. Strengthen the feeble hands, steady the knees that give way;
  4. say to those with fearful hearts, "Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you."
  5. Then will the eyes of the blind be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped.
  1. 荒野と， かわいた 地とは 樂しみ， さばくは 喜びて 花¿き， さふらんのように，

  3. And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness. The unclean will not journey on it; it will be for those who walk in that Way; wicked fools will not go about on it.
  4. No lion will be there, nor will any ferocious beast get up on it; they will not be found there. But only the redeemed will walk there,
  5. and the ransomed of the LORD will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.
  1. その 時， 足の 不自由な 人は， しかのように 飛び 走り， 口のきけない 人の 舌は 喜び 歌う． それは 荒野に 水がわきいで， さばくに 川が 流れるからである．
  2. 燒けた 砂は 池となり， かわいた 地は 水の 源となり， 山犬の 伏したすみかは， 葦， よしの 茂りあう 所となる．
  3. そこに 大路があり， その 道は 聖なる 道ととなえられる． 汚れた 者はこれを 通り 過ぎることはできない， 愚かなる 者はそこに 迷い 入ることはない．
  4. そこには， ししはおらず， 飢えた ¿も， その 道にのぼることはなく， その 所でこれに 會うことはない． ただ， あがなわれた 者のみ， そこを 步む．
  5. 主にあがなわれた 者は 歸ってきて， その 頭に， とこしえの 喜びをいただき， 歌うたいつつ， シオン に 來る． 彼らは 樂しみと 喜びとを 得， 悲しみと 嘆きとは 逃げ 去る．

  1. In the fourteenth year of King Hezekiah's reign, Sennacherib king of Assyria attacked all the fortified cities of Judah and captured them.
  2. Then the king of Assyria sent his field commander with a large army from Lachish to King Hezekiah at Jerusalem. When the commander stopped at the aqueduct of the Upper Pool, on the road to the Washerman's Field,
  3. Eliakim son of Hilkiah the palace administrator, Shebna the secretary, and Joah son of Asaph the recorder went out to him.
  4. The field commander said to them, "Tell Hezekiah, " 'This is what the great king, the king of Assyria, says: On what are you basing this confidence of yours?
  5. You say you have strategy and military strength--but you speak only empty words. On whom are you depending, that you rebel against me?
  1. ヒゼキヤ 王の 第十四年に， アッスリヤ の 王 セナケリブ が 上ってきて， ユダ のすべての 堅固な 町¿を 攻め 取った．

  2. And if you say to me, "We are depending on the LORD our God"-isn't he the one whose high places and altars Hezekiah removed, saying to Judah and Jerusalem, "You must worship before this altar"?
  3. " 'Come now, make a bargain with my master, the king of Assyria: I will give you two thousand horses--if you can put riders on them!
  4. How then can you repulse one officer of the least of my master's officials, even though you are depending on Egypt for chariots and horsemen?
  5. Furthermore, have I come to attack and destroy this land without the LORD ? The LORD himself told me to march against this country and destroy it.' "
  1. 見よ， あなたはかの 折れかけている 葦のつえ エジプト を 賴みとしているが， それは 人が 寄りかかるとき， その 人の 手を 刺し 通す． エジプト の 王 パロ はすべて 寄り 賴む 者にそのようにするのだ．

  1. Then Eliakim, Shebna and Joah said to the field commander, "Please speak to your servants in Aramaic, since we understand it. Don't speak to us in Hebrew in the hearing of the people on the wall."
  2. But the commander replied, "Was it only to your master and you that my master sent me to say these things, and not to the men sitting on the wall--who, like you, will have to eat their own filth and drink their own urine?"
  3. Then the commander stood and called out in Hebrew, "Hear the words of the great king, the king of Assyria!
  4. This is what the king says: Do not let Hezekiah deceive you. He cannot deliver you!
  5. Do not let Hezekiah persuade you to trust in the LORD when he says, 'The LORD will surely deliver us; this city will not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.'

  1. "Do not listen to Hezekiah. This is what the king of Assyria says: Make peace with me and come out to me. Then every one of you will eat from his own vine and fig tree and drink water from his own cistern,
  2. until I come and take you to a land like your own--a land of grain and new wine, a land of bread and vineyards.
  3. "Do not let Hezekiah mislead you when he says, 'The LORD will deliver us.' Has the god of any nation ever delivered his land from the hand of the king of Assyria?
  4. Where are the gods of Hamath and Arpad? Where are the gods of Sepharvaim? Have they rescued Samaria from my hand?
  5. Who of all the gods of these countries has been able to save his land from me? How then can the LORD deliver Jerusalem from my hand?"
  1. あなたがたは ヒゼキヤ の 言葉を 聞いてはならない． アッスリヤ の 王はこう 仰せられる， 『あなたがたは， わたしと 和ぼくして， わたしに 降服せよ． そうすれば， あなたがたはめいめい 自分のぶどうの 實を 食べ， めいめい 自分のいちじくの 實を 食べ， めいめい 自分の 井戶の 水を 飮むことができる．
  2. やがて， わたしが 來て， あなたがたを 一つの 國へ 連れて 行く． それは， あなたがたの 國のように 穀物とぶどう 酒の 多い 地， パン とぶどう 畑の 多い 地だ．

  2. Then Eliakim son of Hilkiah the palace administrator, Shebna the secretary, and Joah son of Asaph the recorder went to Hezekiah, with their clothes torn, and told him what the field commander had said.
  1. しかし 民は 默ってひと 言も 答えなかった． 王が 命じて， 「彼に 答えてはならない 」と 言っておいたからである．
