예레미야 15:1-16:21

 하나님께서는 유다가 파멸될 것임을 선언하시고, 그 때까지 예레미야에게 사명을 감당할 수 있는 힘을 주시고 악인들의 손에서 건져 주실 것을 약속하셨다. 또한 예레미야의 생활을 통해 유다의 심판에 대해 상징적으로 보여 주셨으며, 유다 백성이 징계를 받아 장차 이방 땅에서 이방 신을 섬기게 되지만 때가 되면 다시 회복시킬 것도 아울러 약속하셨다.
  
  탄식과 위로(15:1-15:21)    
 
  1. Then the LORD said to me: "Even if Moses and Samuel were to stand before me, my heart would not go out to this people. Send them away from my presence! Let them go!
  2. And if they ask you, 'Where shall we go?' tell them, 'This is what the LORD says: " 'Those destined for death, to death; those for the sword, to the sword; those for starvation, to starvation; those for captivity, to captivity.'
  3. "I will send four kinds of destroyers against them," declares the LORD, "the sword to kill and the dogs to drag away and the birds of the air and the beasts of the earth to devour and destroy.
  4. I will make them abhorrent to all the kingdoms of the earth because of what Manasseh son of Hezekiah king of Judah did in Jerusalem.
  5. "Who will have pity on you, O Jerusalem? Who will mourn for you? Who will stop to ask how you are?
  1. 主はわたしに 言われた， 「たとい モ ― セ と サムエル とがわたしの 前に 立っても， わたしの 心はこの 民を 顧みない． 彼らをわたしの 前から 追い 出し， ここを 去らせよ．
  2. もし 彼らが， 『われわれはどこに 行けばよいのか 』とあなたに 尋ねるならば， 彼らに 言いなさい， 『主はこう 仰せられる， 疫病に 定められた 者は 疫病に， つるぎに 定められた 者はつるぎに， ききんに 定められた 者はききんに， とりこに 定められた 者はとりこに 行く 』．
  3. 主は 仰せられる， わたしは 四つの 物をもって 彼らを 罰する． すなわち， つるぎをもって 殺し， 犬をもってかませ， 空の 鳥と 地の ¿をもって 食い 滅ぼさせる．
  4. また ユダ の 王 ヒゼキヤ の 子 マナセ が， エルサレム でした 行いのゆえに， わたしは 彼らを 地のすべての 國が 見て 恐れおののくものとする．
  5. エルサレム よ， だれがあなたをあわれむであろうか． だれがあなたのために 嘆くであろうか． だれがふり 返って， あなたの 安否を 問うであろうか．
  1. You have rejected me," declares the LORD. "You keep on backsliding. So I will lay hands on you and destroy you; I can no longer show compassion.
  2. I will winnow them with a winnowing fork at the city gates of the land. I will bring bereavement and destruction on my people, for they have not changed their ways.
  3. I will make their widows more numerous than the sand of the sea. At midday I will bring a destroyer against the mothers of their young men; suddenly I will bring down on them anguish and terror.
  4. The mother of seven will grow faint and breathe her last. Her sun will set while it is still day; she will be disgraced and humiliated. I will put the survivors to the sword before their enemies," declares the LORD.
  5. Alas, my mother, that you gave me birth, a man with whom the whole land strives and contends! I have neither lent nor borrowed, yet everyone curses me.
  1. 主は 言われる， あなたはわたしを 捨てた． そしてますます 退いて 行く． それゆえ， わたしは 手を 伸べてあなたを 滅ぼした． わたしはあわれむことには 飽きた．
  2. わたしはこの 地の 門で， 箕で 彼らをあおぎ 分けた． 彼らがその 道を 離れなかったので， わたしは 彼らの 子を 奪い， わが 民を 滅ぼした．
  3. わたしは 彼らの 寡婦の 數を ／浜べの 砂よりも 多くした． わたしは 眞¿に， 滅ぼす 者を 連れてきて， 若者らの 母たちをせめ， 驚きと 恐れを， にわかに 母たちにおこした．
  4. 七人の 子を 産んだ 女は， 弱り 衰えて， 息絶え， まだ ¿であったが， 彼女の 日は ¿した． 彼女は 恥じ， うろたえた． その 殘りの 者は， これを 敵のつるぎに 渡すと ／主は 言われる 」．
  5. ああ， わたしはわざわいだ． わが 母よ， あなたは， なぜ， わたしを 産んだのか． 全國の 人はわたしと 爭い， わたしを 攻める． わたしは 人に 貸したこともなく， 人に 借りたこともないのに， 皆わたしをのろう．
  1. The LORD said, "Surely I will deliver you for a good purpose; surely I will make your enemies plead with you in times of disaster and times of distress.
  2. "Can a man break iron-- iron from the north--or bronze?
  3. Your wealth and your treasures I will give as plunder, without charge, because of all your sins throughout your country.
  4. I will enslave you to your enemies in a land you do not know, for my anger will kindle a fire that will burn against you."
  5. You understand, O LORD; remember me and care for me. Avenge me on my persecutors. You are long-suffering--do not take me away; think of how I suffer reproach for your sake.
  1. 主よ， もしわたしが 彼らの 幸福をあなたに 祈り 求めず， また 敵のため， その 惱みのときと， 災のときに， わたしがあなたにとりなしをしなかったのであれば， 彼らののろいも， やむをえないでしょう．
  2. 人は 鐵を， 北からくる 鐵や 靑銅を ¿くことができましょうか．
  3. 「わたしはあなたの 富と 寶を， ぶんどり 物として 他に 與える． 代價を 受けることはできない． それはあなたのすべての 罪によるので， 領域內のいたる 所にこのことが 起る．
  4. わたしはあなたの 知らない 地で， あなたの 敵に 仕えさせる． わたしの 怒りによって 火は 点じられ， いつまでも 燃え 續けるからである 」．
  5. 主よ， あなたは 知っておられます． わたしを 覺え， わたしを 顧みてください． わたしを 迫害する 者に， あだを 返し， あなたの 寬容によって， わたしを 取り 去らないでください． わたしがあなたのために， はずかしめを 受けるのを 知ってください．
  1. When your words came, I ate them; they were my joy and my heart's delight, for I bear your name, O LORD God Almighty.
  2. I never sat in the company of revelers, never made merry with them; I sat alone because your hand was on me and you had filled me with indignation.
  3. Why is my pain unending and my wound grievous and incurable? Will you be to me like a deceptive brook, like a spring that fails?
  4. Therefore this is what the LORD says: "If you repent, I will restore you that you may serve me; if you utter worthy, not worthless, words, you will be my spokesman. Let this people turn to you, but you must not turn to them.
  5. I will make you a wall to this people, a fortified wall of bronze; they will fight against you but will not overcome you, for I am with you to rescue and save you," declares the LORD.
  1. わたしはみ 言葉を 與えられて， それを 食べました． み 言葉は， わたしに 喜びとなり， 心の 樂しみとなりました． 万軍の 神， 主よ， わたしは， あなたの 名をもって ／となえられている 者です．
  2. わたしは 笑いさざめく 人のつどいに ／すわることなく， また 喜ぶことをせず， ただひとりですわっていました． あなたの 手がわたしの 上にあり， あなたが 憤りをもって ／わたしを 滿たされたからです．
  3. どうしてわたしの 痛みは 止まらず， 傷は 重くて， なおらないのですか． あなたはわたしにとって， 水がなくて 人を 欺く ／谷川のようになられるのですか．
  4. それゆえ 主はこう 仰せられる， 「もしあなたが 歸ってくるならば， もとのようにして， わたしの 前に 立たせよう． もしあなたが， つまらないことを 言うのをやめて， 貴重なことを 言うならば， わたしの 口のようになる． 彼らはあなたの 所に 歸ってくる． しかしあなたが 彼らの 所に 歸るのではない．
  5. わたしはあなたをこの 民の 前に， 堅固な 靑銅の 城壁にする． 彼らがあなたを 攻めても， あなたに 勝つことはできない． わたしがあなたと 共にいて， あなたを 助け， あなたを 救うからであると， 主は 言われる．
  1. "I will save you from the hands of the wicked and redeem you from the grasp of the cruel."
  1. わたしはあなたを 惡人の 手から 救い， 無慈悲な 人の 手からあがなう 」．
 
  재앙과 회복(16:1-16:21)    
 
  1. Then the word of the LORD came to me:
  2. "You must not marry and have sons or daughters in this place."
  3. For this is what the LORD says about the sons and daughters born in this land and about the women who are their mothers and the men who are their fathers:
  4. "They will die of deadly diseases. They will not be mourned or buried but will be like refuse lying on the ground. They will perish by sword and famine, and their dead bodies will become food for the birds of the air and the beasts of the earth."
  5. For this is what the LORD says: "Do not enter a house where there is a funeral meal; do not go to mourn or show sympathy, because I have withdrawn my blessing, my love and my pity from this people," declares the LORD.
  1. 主の 言葉はまたわたしに 臨んだ，
  2. 「あなたはこの 所で 妻をめとってはならない． またむすこ 娘を 持ってはならない．
  3. この 所で 生れるむすこ 娘と， この 地でこれを 産む 母たちと， これを 生む 父たちとについて 主はこう 言われる，
  4. 彼らは 死の 病にかかって 死に， 哀悼する 者もなく， 埋葬する 者もなく， 地のおもてに， 糞土のようになる． またつるぎと， ききんに 滅ぼされて， その 死體は 空の 鳥と 地の ¿の 食い 物となる．
  5. 主はこう 言われる， 喪のある 家に， はいってはならない． また 行って， それを 悲しみ 嘆いてはならない． わたしがこの 民からわたしの 平安と， いつくしみと， あわれみとを 取り 去ったからであると， 主は 言われる．
  1. "Both high and low will die in this land. They will not be buried or mourned, and no one will cut himself or shave his head for them.
  2. No one will offer food to comfort those who mourn for the dead--not even for a father or a mother--nor will anyone give them a drink to console them.
  3. "And do not enter a house where there is feasting and sit down to eat and drink.
  4. For this is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: Before your eyes and in your days I will bring an end to the sounds of joy and gladness and to the voices of bride and bridegroom in this place.
  5. "When you tell these people all this and they ask you, 'Why has the LORD decreed such a great disaster against us? What wrong have we done? What sin have we committed against the LORD our God?'
  1. 大いなる 者も 小さき 者も， この 地に 死ぬ． 彼らは 葬られず， また 彼らのために 悲しむ 者もなく， 自分の 身を 傷つける 者もなく， 髮をそる 者もない．
  2. 悲しむ 者のために パン をさいて， 死者のためにこれを 慰める 者はなく， また 父あるいは 母のために 慰めの 杯をこれに 與えて 飮ませる 者もない．
  3. またあなたは 宴會をする 家にはいって， 人¿と 共にすわって 食い 飮みしてはならない．
  4. 万軍の 主， イスラエル の 神はこう 言われる， 見よ， あなたの 目の 前で， あなたのなおこの 世にいる 間に， わたしは 喜びの 聲と 樂しみの 聲， 花¿の 聲と 花嫁の 聲とをこの 所に 絶やしてしまう．
  5. あなたがこのすべての 言葉をこの 民に 告げるとき， 彼らがあなたに 尋ねて， 『主がわれわれにこの 大きな 災を 宣告されるのはどうしてですか． われわれにどんな 惡い 所があるのですか． われわれの 神， 主にそむいて， われわれが 犯した 罪とはなんですか 』と 言うならば，
  1. then say to them, 'It is because your fathers forsook me,' declares the LORD, 'and followed other gods and served and worshiped them. They forsook me and did not keep my law.
  2. But you have behaved more wickedly than your fathers. See how each of you is following the stubbornness of his evil heart instead of obeying me.
  3. So I will throw you out of this land into a land neither you nor your fathers have known, and there you will serve other gods day and night, for I will show you no favor.'
  4. "However, the days are coming," declares the LORD, "when men will no longer say, 'As surely as the LORD lives, who brought the Israelites up out of Egypt,'
  5. but they will say, 'As surely as the LORD lives, who brought the Israelites up out of the land of the north and out of all the countries where he had banished them.' For I will restore them to the land I gave their forefathers.
  1. あなたは 彼らに 答えなければならない， 『主は 仰せられる， それはあなたがたの 先祖がわたしを 捨てて 他の 神¿に 從い， これに 仕え， これを 拜し， またわたしを 捨て， わたしの 律法を 守らなかったからである．

  3. それゆえ， わたしはあなたがたをこの 地より 追い 出し， あなたがたも， あなたがたの 先祖も 知らない 地に 行かせる． その 所であなたがたは ¿夜， ほかの 神¿に 仕えるようになる． これはわたしがあなたがたにあわれみを 示さないからである 』と．
  4. 主は 言われる， それゆえ， 見よ， こののち『イスラエル の 民を エジプト の 地から 導き 出した 主は 生きておられる 』とは 言わないで，
  5. 『イスラエル の 民を 北の 國と， そのすべて 追いやられた 國¿から 導き 出した 主は 生きておられる 』という 日がくる． わたしが 彼らを， その 先祖に 與えた 彼らの 地に 導きかえすからである．
  1. "But now I will send for many fishermen," declares the LORD, "and they will catch them. After that I will send for many hunters, and they will hunt them down on every mountain and hill and from the crevices of the rocks.
  2. My eyes are on all their ways; they are not hidden from me, nor is their sin concealed from my eyes.
  3. I will repay them double for their wickedness and their sin, because they have defiled my land with the lifeless forms of their vile images and have filled my inheritance with their detestable idols."
  4. O LORD, my strength and my fortress, my refuge in time of distress, to you the nations will come from the ends of the earth and say, "Our fathers possessed nothing but false gods, worthless idols that did them no good.
  5. Do men make their own gods? Yes, but they are not gods!"
  1. 主は 言われる， 見よ， わたしは 多くの 漁夫を 呼んできて， 彼らをすなどらせ， また， そののち 多くの ¿師を 呼んできて， もろもろの 山， もろもろの 丘， および 岩の 裂け 目から 彼らをかり 出させる．
  2. わたしの 目は 彼らのすべての 道を 見ているからである． みなわたしに 隱れてはいない． またその 惡はわたしの 目に 隱れることはない．
  3. わたしはその 惡とその 罪の 報いを 二倍にする． 彼らがその 忌むべき 偶像の 死體をもって， わたしの 地を 汚し， その 憎むべきものをもって， わたしの 嗣業を 滿たしたからである 」．
  4. 主， わが 力， わが 城， 惱みの 時の， のがれ 場よ， 万國の 民は 地の 果から ／あなたのもとにきて 申します， 「われわれの 先祖が 受け 嗣いだのは， ただ 僞りと， 役に 立たないつまらない 事ばかりです．
  5. 人が 自分で 神¿を 造ることができましょうか． そういうものは 神ではありません 」．
  1. "Therefore I will teach them-- this time I will teach them my power and might. Then they will know that my name is the LORD.
  1. 「それゆえ， 見よ， わたしは 彼らに 知らせよう． すなわち， この 際わたしの 力と， わたしの 勢いとを 知らせよう． 彼らはわたしの 名が， 主であることを 知るようになる 」．
 
  속이는 시내( 15:18)  비가 오면 물줄기를 이루다가 이내 사라지고 마는 와디 현상으로, 중동 지역에서 흔히 볼 수 있다
