예레미야 47:1-48:47

 하나님께서는 우상을 숭배한 블레셋이 멸망할 것을 예고하셨다. 또한 사해 동편에 위치한 모압이 멸망할 것도 말씀하셨다. 하나님께서는 모압 족속이 멸망하는 이유가 물질 의뢰, 우상 숭배, 부패한 악의 만연, 하나님께 대한 교만, 이스라엘에 대한 조롱 때문이라고 밝히셨다. 그러나 말일에는 포로된 모압 거민이 회복될 것이라고 예고하셨다.
  
  블레셋에 대한 예언(47:1-47:7)    
 
  1. This is the word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah the prophet concerning the Philistines before Pharaoh attacked Gaza:
  2. This is what the LORD says: "See how the waters are rising in the north; they will become an overflowing torrent. They will overflow the land and everything in it, the towns and those who live in them. The people will cry out; all who dwell in the land will wail
  3. at the sound of the hoofs of galloping steeds, at the noise of enemy chariots and the rumble of their wheels. Fathers will not turn to help their children; their hands will hang limp.
  4. For the day has come to destroy all the Philistines and to cut off all survivors who could help Tyre and Sidon. The LORD is about to destroy the Philistines, the remnant from the coasts of Caphtor.
  5. Gaza will shave her head in mourning; Ashkelon will be silenced. O remnant on the plain, how long will you cut yourselves?
  1. パロ がまだ ガザ を 擊たなかったころ， ペリシテ びとの 事について 預言者 エレミヤ に 臨んだ 主の 言葉．
  2. 「主はこう 言われる， 見よ， 水は 北から 起り， あふれ 流れて， この 地と， そこにあるすべての 物， その 町と， その 中に 住む 者とにあふれかかる． その 時， 人¿は 叫び， この 地に 住む 者はみな 嘆く．
  3. そのたくましい 馬のひずめの 踏み 鳴らす 音のため， その 戰車の 響きのため， その 車輪のとどろきのために， 父はその 手が 弱くなって， 自分の 子をも 顧みない．
  4. これは， ペリシテ びとを 滅ぼし 盡し， ツロ と シドン に 殘って 助けをなす 者を ／ことごとく 絶やす 日が 來るからである． 主は カフトル の 海岸に 殘っている ／ ペリシテ びとを 滅ぼされる．
  5. ガザ には 髮をそることが 始まっている． アシケロン は 滅びた． アナク びとの 殘りの 民よ， いつまで 自分の 身に 傷つけるのか．
  1. " 'Ah, sword of the LORD,' you cry, 'how long till you rest? Return to your scabbard; cease and be still.'
  2. But how can it rest when the LORD has commanded it, when he has ordered it to attack Ashkelon and the coast?"
  1. 主のつるぎよ， おまえはいつになれば 靜かになるのか． おまえのさやに 歸り， 休んで 靜かにしておれ．
  2. 主がこれに 命を 下されたのだ， どうして 靜かにしておれようか． アシケロン と 海岸の 地を 攻めることを ／定められたのだ 」．
 
  모압에 대한 예언(48:1-48:47)    
 
  1. Concerning Moab: This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: "Woe to Nebo, for it will be ruined. Kiriathaim will be disgraced and captured; the stronghold will be disgraced and shattered.
  2. Moab will be praised no more; in Heshbon men will plot her downfall: 'Come, let us put an end to that nation.' You too, O Madmen, will be silenced; the sword will pursue you.
  3. Listen to the cries from Horonaim, cries of great havoc and destruction.
  4. Moab will be broken; her little ones will cry out.
  5. They go up the way to Luhith, weeping bitterly as they go; on the road down to Horonaim anguished cries over the destruction are heard.
  1. モアブ の 事について， 万軍の 主， イスラエル の 神はこう 言われる， 「ああ， ネボ はわざわいだ， これは 滅ぼされた． キリヤタイム ははずかしめられて 取られ， とりでは， はずかしめられてこわされた．
  2. モアブ の 譽は， 消え 去った． ヘシボン で 人¿は モアブ の 害を 圖り， 『さあ， この 國を 斷ち 滅ぼそう 』という． マデメン よ， おまえもまた 滅ぼされる， つるぎがおまえを 追う．
  3. ホロナイム から 叫び 聲が 聞える， 『荒廢と 大いなる 滅亡だ 』という．
  4. モアブ は 滅ぼされ， 叫びは ゾアル にまで 聞える．
  5. 彼らは 泣きながら ルヒテ の 坂を 登る． 彼らは ホロナイム の 下り 坂で， 『滅亡 』の 叫びを 聞いたからだ．
  1. Flee! Run for your lives; become like a bush in the desert.
  2. Since you trust in your deeds and riches, you too will be taken captive, and Chemosh will go into exile, together with his priests and officials.
  3. The destroyer will come against every town, and not a town will escape. The valley will be ruined and the plateau destroyed, because the LORD has spoken.
  4. Put salt on Moab, for she will be laid waste ; her towns will become desolate, with no one to live in them.
  5. "A curse on him who is lax in doing the LORD's work! A curse on him who keeps his sword from bloodshed!
  1. 逃げて， 自分の 身を 救え， 荒野の 野ろばのようになれ．
  2. おまえが， とりでと 財寶とを 賴みにしたので， おまえも 捕えられるからだ． また ケモシ は， その 祭司とつかさたちと 共に， 捕えられて 行く．
  3. 滅ぼす 者はすべての 町に 來る， 一つの 町ものがれることができない． 谷は 滅び， 平地は 荒される， 主の 言われたとおりである．
  4. モアブ に 翼を 與えて， 飛び 去らせよ． その 町¿は 荒れて， 住む 者はなくなる．
  5. 主のわざを 行うことを 怠る 者はのろわれる． またそのつるぎを 押えて 血を 流さない 者はのろわれる．
  1. "Moab has been at rest from youth, like wine left on its dregs, not poured from one jar to another-- she has not gone into exile. So she tastes as she did, and her aroma is unchanged.
  2. But days are coming," declares the LORD, "when I will send men who pour from jars, and they will pour her out; they will empty her jars and smash her jugs.
  3. Then Moab will be ashamed of Chemosh, as the house of Israel was ashamed when they trusted in Bethel.
  4. "How can you say, 'We are warriors, men valiant in battle'?
  5. Moab will be destroyed and her towns invaded; her finest young men will go down in the slaughter," declares the King, whose name is the LORD Almighty.
  1. モアブ はその 幼い 時から 安らかで， 酒が， 沈んだおりの 上にとどまって， 器から 器に， くみ 移されなかったように， 捕え 移されなかったので， その 味はなお 存し， その 香氣も 變ることがない．
  2. 主は 言われる， それゆえ 見よ， わたしがこれを 傾ける 者どもをつかわす 日が 來る． 彼らはこれを 傾け， その 器をあけ， そのかめを ¿く．
  3. その 時 モアブ は ケモシ のために 恥をかく． ちょうど イスラエル の 家がその 賴みとした ベテル のために 恥をかいたようになる．

  1. "The fall of Moab is at hand; her calamity will come quickly.
  2. Mourn for her, all who live around her, all who know her fame; say, 'How broken is the mighty scepter, how broken the glorious staff!'
  3. "Come down from your glory and sit on the parched ground, O inhabitants of the Daughter of Dibon, for he who destroys Moab will come up against you and ruin your fortified cities.
  4. Stand by the road and watch, you who live in Aroer. Ask the man fleeing and the woman escaping, ask them, 'What has happened?'
  5. Moab is disgraced, for she is shattered. Wail and cry out! Announce by the Arnon that Moab is destroyed.
  1. モアブ の 災難は 近づいている， その 苦難はすみやかに 來る．
  2. すべてその 周圍にある 者よ， またその 名を 知る 者よ， 彼のために 嘆いて， 『ああ， 强き ヴ ， 麗しきつえは， ついに 折れた 』と 言え．
  3. デボン に 住む 者よ， あなたの 榮えを 離れて 下り， かわいた 地に 座せよ． モアブ を 滅ぼす 者があなたに 攻めのぼって 來て， あなたの 城を 滅ぼしたからだ．
  4. アロエル に 住む 者よ， 道のかたわらに 立って 見張りし， 逃げてくる 男， のがれてくる 女に 尋ねて， 『何が 起ったのか 』と 言え．
  5. モアブ は 敗れて， 恥をこうむっている． 嘆き 呼ばわれ． アルノン 川のほとりで， モアブ は 滅ぼされたと 告げよ．
  1. Judgment has come to the plateau-- to Holon, Jahzah and Mephaath,
  2. to Dibon, Nebo and Beth Diblathaim,
  3. to Kiriathaim, Beth Gamul and Beth Meon,
  4. to Kerioth and Bozrah-- to all the towns of Moab, far and near.
  5. Moab's horn is cut off; her arm is broken," declares the LORD.
  1. さばきは 高原の 地に 臨み， ホロン ， ヤハズ ， メパアテ ，
  2. デボン ， ネボ ， ベテ · デブラタイム ，
  3. キリヤタイム ， ベテ · ガムル ， ベテ · メオン ，
  4. ケリオテ ， ボズラ など モアブ の 地のすべての 町の， 遠いものにも 近いものにも， 臨んだ．
  5. モアブ の 角は ¿け， その 腕は 折れたと 主は 言われる．
  1. "Make her drunk, for she has defied the LORD. Let Moab wallow in her vomit; let her be an object of ridicule.
  2. Was not Israel the object of your ridicule? Was she caught among thieves, that you shake your head in scorn whenever you speak of her?
  3. Abandon your towns and dwell among the rocks, you who live in Moab. Be like a dove that makes its nest at the mouth of a cave.
  4. "We have heard of Moab's pride-- her overweening pride and conceit, her pride and arrogance and the haughtiness of her heart.
  5. I know her insolence but it is futile," declares the LORD, "and her boasts accomplish nothing.
  1. モアブ を 醉わせよ， 彼が 主に 敵して 自ら 高ぶったからである． モアブ は 自分の 吐いた 物の 中にころがって， 笑い 草となる．
  2. イスラエル はあなたの 笑い 草ではなかったか． あなたが， 彼のことを 語るごとに 首を 振ったのは， 彼が 盜賊の 中にいたとでもいうのか．
  3. モアブ に 住む 者よ， 町を 去って 岩の 間に 住め． 谷の 入口のかたわらに 巢を 作る ／山ばとのようにせよ．
  4. われわれは モアブ の 高慢な 事を 聞いた， その 高慢は， はなはだしい． すなわち， その 尊大， 高慢， 橫柄， およびその 心の 高ぶりのことを 聞いた．
  5. 主は 言われる， わたしは 彼の 橫着なのを 知る， 彼の 自慢は 僞りで， その 行いも 僞りである．
  1. Therefore I wail over Moab, for all Moab I cry out, I moan for the men of Kir Hareseth.
  2. I weep for you, as Jazer weeps, O vines of Sibmah. Your branches spread as far as the sea; they reached as far as the sea of Jazer. The destroyer has fallen on your ripened fruit and grapes.
  3. Joy and gladness are gone from the orchards and fields of Moab. I have stopped the flow of wine from the presses; no one treads them with shouts of joy. Although there are shouts, they are not shouts of joy.
  4. "The sound of their cry rises from Heshbon to Elealeh and Jahaz, from Zoar as far as Horonaim and Eglath Shelishiyah, for even the waters of Nimrim are dried up.
  5. In Moab I will put an end to those who make offerings on the high places and burn incense to their gods," declares the LORD.
  1. それゆえ， わたしは モアブ のために 嘆き， モアブ の 全地のために 呼ばわる． キルヘレス の 人¿のためにわたしは 悲しむ．
  2. シブマ のぶどうの 木よ， わたしは ヤゼル のために 泣くのにまさって ／おまえのために 泣く． おまえのつるは 延びて 海を 越え， ヤゼル に 及んだ． おまえの 夏の 實と， その 收穫を 滅ぼす 者が ／襲ってきた．
  3. 喜びと 樂しみは， 實り 多い モアブ の 地を 去った． わたしは， ぶどうをしぼる 所にも 酒をなくした． 樂しく 呼ばわって， ぶどうを 踏む 者もなくなった． 呼ばわっても， 喜んで 呼ばわる 聲ではない．
  4. ヘシボン と エレアレ は 叫ぶ． ヤハヅ に 至るまで， ゾアル から ホロナイム と エグラテ · シリシヤ に 至るまで， 彼らはその 聲をあげる． ニムリム の 水も 絶えたからである．
  5. 主は 言われる， わたしは ¿牲を 高き 所にささげ， 香をその 神にたく 者を モアブ のうちに 滅ぼす．
  1. "So my heart laments for Moab like a flute; it laments like a flute for the men of Kir Hareseth. The wealth they acquired is gone.
  2. Every head is shaved and every beard cut off; every hand is slashed and every waist is covered with sackcloth.
  3. On all the roofs in Moab and in the public squares there is nothing but mourning, for I have broken Moab like a jar that no one wants," declares the LORD.
  4. "How shattered she is! How they wail! How Moab turns her back in shame! Moab has become an object of ridicule, an object of horror to all those around her."
  5. This is what the LORD says: "Look! An eagle is swooping down, spreading its wings over Moab.
  1. それゆえ， わたしの 心は モアブ のために 笛のように 嘆き， わたしの 心は キルヘレス の 人¿のために 笛のように 嘆く． 彼らの 獲た 富が 消えうせたからである．
  2. 人はみな 髮をそり， 皆ひげをそり， みな 手に 傷をつけ， 腰に 荒布を 着ける．
  3. モアブ ではどこの 屋根の 上も， 廣場も， ただ 悲しみに 包まれている． これは， わたしが， だれもほしがらない 器のように モアブ を ¿いたからであると 主は 言われる．
  4. ああ， モアブ はついに 滅びた． 人¿は 嘆く． ああ， モアブ は 恥じて 顔をそむけた． モアブ はその 周圍のすべての 者の 笑い 草となり 恐れとなった 」．
  5. 主はこう 言われる， 「見よ， 敵はわしのように 速く 飛んできて， モアブ に 向かって 翼をのべる．
  1. Kerioth will be captured and the strongholds taken. In that day the hearts of Moab's warriors will be like the heart of a woman in labor.
  2. Moab will be destroyed as a nation because she defied the LORD.
  3. Terror and pit and snare await you, O people of Moab," declares the LORD.
  4. "Whoever flees from the terror will fall into a pit, whoever climbs out of the pit will be caught in a snare; for I will bring upon Moab the year of her punishment," declares the LORD.
  5. "In the shadow of Heshbon the fugitives stand helpless, for a fire has gone out from Heshbon, a blaze from the midst of Sihon; it burns the foreheads of Moab, the skulls of the noisy boasters.
  1. 町¿は 取られ， 城は 奪われる． その 日 モアブ の 勇士の 心は ／子を 産む 女の 心のようになる．
  2. モアブ は 滅ぼされて， 國を 成さないようになる． 主に 敵して 自ら 誇ったからである．
  3. 主は 言われる， モアブ に 住む 者よ， 恐れと， 穴と， わなとがあなたに 臨んでいる．
  4. 恐れをさけて 逃げる 者は 穴におちいり， 穴をよじ 上って 出る 者は， わなに 捕えられる． わたしが モアブ に， その 罰せられる 年に， これらのものを 臨ませるからであると ／主は 言われる．
  5. 逃げた 者は ヘシボン の 陰に， 力なく 立ちどまる． ヘシボン から 火が 出， シホン の 家から 炎が 出て， モアブ の 額， ¿ぐ 人¿の 頭の 頂を 燒いたからだ．
  1. Woe to you, O Moab! The people of Chemosh are destroyed; your sons are taken into exile and your daughters into captivity.
  2. "Yet I will restore the fortunes of Moab in days to come," declares the LORD. Here ends the judgment on Moab.
  1. モアブ よ， おまえはわざわいだ． ケモシ の 民は 滅びた． おまえのむすこらは 捕え 移され， おまえの 娘らも 捕え 行かれたからである．
  2. しかし 末の 日にわたしは 再び モアブ を 榮えさせると ／主は 言われる 」． ここまでは モアブ のさばきの 事をいったのである．
