에스겔 14:1-16:22

 하나님께서는 우상을 섬기는 장로들을 책망하셨고, 어떤 의인도 예루살렘의 심판에서 백성들을 구원할 수 없다고 말씀하셨다. 또한 이스라엘 백성을 열매 맺지 못하는 포도나무와 음란한 여인에 비유하여 그들이 심판을 피할 수 없음을 지적하셨다.
  
  우상 숭배자의 죄(14:1-14:23)    
 
  1. Some of the elders of Israel came to me and sat down in front of me.
  2. Then the word of the LORD came to me:
  3. "Son of man, these men have set up idols in their hearts and put wicked stumbling blocks before their faces. Should I let them inquire of me at all?
  4. Therefore speak to them and tell them, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: When any Israelite sets up idols in his heart and puts a wicked stumbling block before his face and then goes to a prophet, I the LORD will answer him myself in keeping with his great idolatry.
  5. I will do this to recapture the hearts of the people of Israel, who have all deserted me for their idols.'
  1. ここに イスラエル の 長老のうちのある 人¿が， わたしの 所に 來て， わたしの 前に 座した．
  2. 時に 主の 言葉が， わたしに 臨んだ，
  3. 「人の 子よ， これらの 人¿は， その 偶像を 心の 中に 持ち， 罪に 落しいれるところのつまずきを， その 顔の 前に 置いている． わたしはどうして 彼らの 願いをいれることができようか．
  4. それゆえ 彼らに 告げて 言え， 主なる 神は， こう 言われる， イスラエル の 家の 人¿で， その 偶像を 心の 中に 持ち， その 顔の 前に 罪に 落しいれるところのつまずくものを 置きながら， 預言者のもとに 來る 者には， その 多くの 偶像のゆえに， 主なるわたしは， みずからこれに 答をする．
  5. これはその 偶像のために， すべてわたしを 離れた イスラエル の 家の 心を， わたしが 捕えるためである．
  1. "Therefore say to the house of Israel, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Repent! Turn from your idols and renounce all your detestable practices!
  2. " 'When any Israelite or any alien living in Israel separates himself from me and sets up idols in his heart and puts a wicked stumbling block before his face and then goes to a prophet to inquire of me, I the LORD will answer him myself.
  3. I will set my face against that man and make him an example and a byword. I will cut him off from my people. Then you will know that I am the LORD.
  4. " 'And if the prophet is enticed to utter a prophecy, I the LORD have enticed that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand against him and destroy him from among my people Israel.
  5. They will bear their guilt--the prophet will be as guilty as the one who consults him.
  1. それゆえ イスラエル の 家に 言え， 主なる 神はこう 言われる， あなたがたは 悔いて， あなたがたの 偶像を 捨てよ． あなたがたの 顔を， そのすべての 憎むべきものからそむけよ．
  2. イスラエル の 家の 者および イスラエル に 宿る 外國人のだれでも， わたしから 離れ， その 心に 偶像を 持ち， その 顔の 前に 罪に 落しいれるところのつまずきを 置きながら， 預言者に 來て， 心のままにわたしに 求めるときは， 主であるわたしは， みずからこれに 答をする．
  3. わたしはわたしの 顔を， その 人に 向け， 彼を， しるし， およびことわざとなし， これをわが 民のうちから 斷ち 滅ぼす． その 時， あなたがたはわたしが 主であることを 知るようになる．
  4. もし 預言者が 欺かれて 言葉を 出すことがあれば， それは 主であるわたしが， その 預言者を 欺いたのである． わたしは 手を 彼の 上に 伸べ， わが 民 イスラエル のうちから 彼を 滅ぼす．
  5. 彼らはその 罰を 負う． その 預言者の 罰は， 問い 求める 者の 罰と 同樣である．
  1. Then the people of Israel will no longer stray from me, nor will they defile themselves anymore with all their sins. They will be my people, and I will be their God, declares the Sovereign LORD.' "
  2. The word of the LORD came to me:
  3. "Son of man, if a country sins against me by being unfaithful and I stretch out my hand against it to cut off its food supply and send famine upon it and kill its men and their animals,
  4. even if these three men--Noah, Daniel and Job--were in it, they could save only themselves by their righteousness, declares the Sovereign LORD.
  5. "Or if I send wild beasts through that country and they leave it childless and it becomes desolate so that no one can pass through it because of the beasts,
  1. これは イスラエル の 家が， 重ねてわたしを 離れて 迷わず， 重ねてそのもろもろのとがによって， おのれを 汚さないため， また 彼らがわが 民となり， わたしが 彼らの 神となるためであると， 主なる 神は 言われる 」．
  2. 主の 言葉が， またわたしに 臨んだ，
  3. 「人の 子よ， もし 國がわたしに， もとりそむいて 罪を 犯し， わたしがその 上に 手を 伸べて， そのつえとたのむ パン を ¿き， これにききんを 送り， 人と ¿とをそのうちから 斷つ 時，
  4. たといそこに ノア ， ダニエル ， ヨブ の 三人がいても， 彼らはその 義によって， ただ 自分の 命を 救いうるのみであると， 主なる 神は 言われる．
  5. もしわたしが 野の ¿にこの 地を 通らせ， これを 荒させ， これを 荒れ 地となし， その ¿のためにそこを 通る 者がないようにしたなら，
  1. as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, even if these three men were in it, they could not save their own sons or daughters. They alone would be saved, but the land would be desolate.
  2. "Or if I bring a sword against that country and say, 'Let the sword pass throughout the land,' and I kill its men and their animals,
  3. as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, even if these three men were in it, they could not save their own sons or daughters. They alone would be saved.
  4. "Or if I send a plague into that land and pour out my wrath upon it through bloodshed, killing its men and their animals,
  5. as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, even if Noah, Daniel and Job were in it, they could save neither son nor daughter. They would save only themselves by their righteousness.
  1. 主なる 神は 言われる， わたしは 生きている， たといこれら 三人の 者がその 中にいても， そのむすこ 娘を 救うことはできない． ただ 自分自身を 救いうるのみで， その 地は 荒れ 地となる．
  2. あるいは， わたしがもし， つるぎをその 地に 臨ませ， つるぎよ， この 地を 行きめぐれと 言って， 人と ¿とをそこから 斷つならば，
  3. 主なる 神は 言われる， わたしは 生きている， たといこれら 三人の 者がその 中にいても， そのむすこ 娘を 救うことはできない． ただ 自分自身を 救いうるのみである．
  4. あるいは， わたしがもし， この 地に 疫病を 送り， 血をもってわが 憤りをその 上に 注ぎ， 人と ¿とをそこから 斷つならば，
  5. 主なる 神は 言われる， わたしは 生きている， たとい ノア ， ダニエル ， ヨブ がそこにいても， 彼らはそのむすこ 娘を 救うことができない． ただその 義によって 自分の 命を 救いうるのみである．
  1. "For this is what the Sovereign LORD says: How much worse will it be when I send against Jerusalem my four dreadful judgments--sword and famine and wild beasts and plague--to kill its men and their animals!
  2. Yet there will be some survivors--sons and daughters who will be brought out of it. They will come to you, and when you see their conduct and their actions, you will be consoled regarding the disaster I have brought upon Jerusalem--every disaster I have brought upon it.
  3. You will be consoled when you see their conduct and their actions, for you will know that I have done nothing in it without cause, declares the Sovereign LORD."
  1. 主なる 神はこう 言われる， わたしが 人と ¿とを 地から 斷つために， つるぎと， ききんと， 惡しき ¿と， 疫病との 四つのきびしい 罰を エルサレム に 送る 時はどうであろうか．
  2. しかし， もしそれがあなたがたに 來るとき， むすこ 娘たちを 助け 出す 者が， その 中に 殘っていて， あなたがたがその 行いと， わざとを 見るならば， わたしが エルサレム の 上に 與えたすべての 災について 慰められるであろう．

  열매 없는 포도나무 비유(15:1-15:8)    
 
  1. The word of the LORD came to me:
  2. "Son of man, how is the wood of a vine better than that of a branch on any of the trees in the forest?
  3. Is wood ever taken from it to make anything useful? Do they make pegs from it to hang things on?
  4. And after it is thrown on the fire as fuel and the fire burns both ends and chars the middle, is it then useful for anything?
  5. If it was not useful for anything when it was whole, how much less can it be made into something useful when the fire has burned it and it is charred?
  1. 主の 言葉がわたしに 臨んだ，
  2. 「人の 子よ， ぶどうの 木， 森の 木のうちにあるぶどうの 枝は， ほかの 木になんのまさる 所があるか．
  3. その 木は 何かを 造るために 用いられるか． また 人はこれを 用いて， 器物を 掛ける 木釘を 造るだろうか．
  4. 見よ， これは 火に 投げ 入れられて 燃える． 火がその 兩端を 燒いたとき， またその 中ほどがこげたとき， それはなんの 役に 立つだろうか．
  5. 見よ， これは 完全な 時でも， なんの 用をもなさない． まして 火がこれを 燒き， これをこがした 時には， なんの 役に 立つだろうか．
  1. "Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: As I have given the wood of the vine among the trees of the forest as fuel for the fire, so will I treat the people living in Jerusalem.
  2. I will set my face against them. Although they have come out of the fire, the fire will yet consume them. And when I set my face against them, you will know that I am the LORD.
  3. I will make the land desolate because they have been unfaithful, declares the Sovereign LORD."
  1. それゆえ 主なる 神はこう 言われる， わたしが 森の 木の 中のぶどうの 木を， 火に 投げ 入れて 燒くように， エルサレム の 住民をそのようにする．
  2. わたしはわたしの 顔を 彼らに 向けて 攻める． 彼らがその 火からのがれても， 火は 彼らを 燒き 盡す． わたしが 顔を 彼らに 向けて 攻める 時， あなたがたはわたしが 主であることを 知る．
  3. 彼らが， もとりそむいたゆえに， わたしはこの 地を 荒れ 地とすると， 主なる 神は 言われる 」．

  1. The word of the LORD came to me:
  2. "Son of man, confront Jerusalem with her detestable practices
  3. and say, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says to Jerusalem: Your ancestry and birth were in the land of the Canaanites; your father was an Amorite and your mother a Hittite.
  4. On the day you were born your cord was not cut, nor were you washed with water to make you clean, nor were you rubbed with salt or wrapped in cloths.
  5. No one looked on you with pity or had compassion enough to do any of these things for you. Rather, you were thrown out into the open field, for on the day you were born you were despised.
  1. 主の 言葉が 再びわたしに 臨んだ，
  2. 「人の 子よ， エルサレム にその 憎むべき 事どもを 示して，
  3. 言え． 主なる 神は エルサレム にこう 言われる， あなたの 起り， あなたの 生れは カナン びとの 地である． あなたの 父は アモリ びと， あなたの 母は ヘテ びとである．

  2. I made you grow like a plant of the field. You grew up and developed and became the most beautiful of jewels. Your breasts were formed and your hair grew, you who were naked and bare.
  3. " 'Later I passed by, and when I looked at you and saw that you were old enough for love, I spread the corner of my garment over you and covered your nakedness. I gave you my solemn oath and entered into a covenant with you, declares the Sovereign LORD, and you became mine.
  4. " 'I bathed you with water and washed the blood from you and put ointments on you.
  5. I clothed you with an embroidered dress and put leather sandals on you. I dressed you in fine linen and covered you with costly garments.
  1. わたしはあなたのかたわらを 通り， あなたが 血の 中にころがりまわっているのを 見た 時， わたしは 血の 中にいるあなたに 言った， 『生きよ，

  4. And your fame spread among the nations on account of your beauty, because the splendor I had given you made your beauty perfect, declares the Sovereign LORD.
  5. " 'But you trusted in your beauty and used your fame to become a prostitute. You lavished your favors on anyone who passed by and your beauty became his.
  1. また 飾り 物であなたを 飾り， 腕輪をあなたの 手にはめ， 鎖をあなたの 首にかけ，
  2. 鼻には 鼻輪， 耳には 耳輪， 頭には 美しい 冠を 與えた．

  3. And you took your embroidered clothes to put on them, and you offered my oil and incense before them.
  4. Also the food I provided for you--the fine flour, olive oil and honey I gave you to eat--you offered as fragrant incense before them. That is what happened, declares the Sovereign LORD.
  5. " 'And you took your sons and daughters whom you bore to me and sacrificed them as food to the idols. Was your prostitution not enough?
  1. あなたは 自分の 衣をとって， 自分のために， はなやかに 色どった 聖所を 造り， その 上で 姦淫を 行っている． こんなことはかつてなかったこと， またあってはならないことである．
